James Sipols: I contacted Miami Auto Inspections late on a Thursday. I made payment that evening and Franco was inspecting the vehicle at 1pm the next day. He let me know the moment he arrived. He was very quick to respond to questions later that afternoon and gave me a very good synopsis prior to providing the final report. I had a full report the next morning and he quickly responded to the additional questions I had. I would fully recommend this company to anyone needing a pre-purchase inspection.

Carlos Huerta: I was in the process of purchasing a 2017 McLaren 570GT with about 18,000 miles. Seller had sent very nice pictures of car. Car looked to be in excellent condition, plus supposedly had new tires and maintenance had been just done. Seller did disclose 1 very minor accident. I had Frank go and inspect. I wasn't expecting anything major since I had been communicating with seller for over a month. I'm in Dallas and vehicle in Miami. Well let me just say this is the best money I've ever spent. Lets just say the car was not taken care of. Paint job was horrible. Carbon fiber was either heavily scratched or broken, front bumper needed replacing, car needed brakes and tires, looking at oil it was obvious service hadn't been done for a long while. Leather seats were coming apart. All in all, probably about $40K in problems which is something I'm not looking to sign up for. Thank you, Frank!

Sabian Scafidi: Called Mr. Frank up and spoke with him on April 11th and checking out a car. I was expecting just a yes, sure, I’ll let you know when I can get to it, but no he spent 10 minutes on the phone explaining how it works and his background. Called me after he inspected the vehicle in detailed terms on what were some major problems then send over a report even more detailed with pictures that didn’t even look like the truck on the internet. Great experience and he keep me out on a lemon; can’t express the gratitude enough. He’s like Miami Vice but the car inspector version.

Brad Schmidt: Came here to get my car inspected. Was a little nervous since I didn't speak Spanish, however I was welcomed with open arms. Angie and Christian were very helpful and spoke perfect English. Service was quick and a lot cheaper than other rebuilt services in Miami. This is a family owened business that truely cares about customer service. I'd give them my business again in the near future. Give this place a try you will thank me later.

Josh Hackney: This crew is very helpful and knowledgeable. From the moment I first called, I was impressed with how quickly they were able to answer my questions and concerns. I have used them consistently for 18 months now and have not been let down once. Obviously when it comes to something like this - you have to have your paperwork in order and repair done properly - hence the negative reviews probably. But assuming you do the work on your end correctly, I highly doubt you would be disappointed with a visit here to have your inspection done.

And does a vehicle having a couple dents in the body affect its performance ? Redicoulous don’t recommend at all spend 3 hours for this the girls are not even expiriwnced
Response: The inspection process is apportioned into two parts: a document review & then, once documents have been certified to be up to FLHSMV standards, a physical inspection. Either the state documents, or a power of attorney, which allows an agent (in this instance yourself) the opportunity to sign the state documents, must be signed by the owner. Your initial documents were not signed nor did you present a power of attorney signed by the owner. Which is why you had to wait for the owner of the vehicle to appear and waited as long as you did. Further, because you harassed and cursed at employees who were simply doing their jobs, and punched your vehicle in an attempt to remove a sizable dent (all recorded via our closed circuit television), we ask that you no longer use our facility for this or any future inspections. - EZR Management

Blake Queen: As others have stated, I live many hours from here, but won a bid on Ebay for a car. I was concerned about potential problems that were not disclosed on the listing or during communication with the seller. Tony was able to schedule an appointment the day I contacted him and provided a thorough verbal and written report of the vehicle. I'm afraid that without his report I would have ended up with a lemon!

Lucas Hoppel: I live out of state and was looking to buy a car from a dealership in Miami. I hired Tony to inspect it for me and he did an incredible job. He arranged the visit with the dealership, called me after with a very thorough overview on his findings and then emailed me a very detailed report. It's money well spent and I feel like I know everything about the car. Very impressed with his service and attention to detail. Highly recommend!

karen mcdonald: I usually don’t go out of my way for reviews but I really feel like Tony deserves it. I flew from out of town to look at a vehicle for a private sale and was nervous because I am a female alone in another state . The guy selling the car was almost an hour late but Tony was still very patient. Once the guy arrives you could tell he wasn’t doing just a once over of the car he took his time and went through it thoroughly and what I really liked was when I asked him if he be willing to follow me to the tag agency with the guy I was buying it from because I didn’t feel comfortable alone, he did with no problem . He really was awesome , I would recommend him highly and would deff use him again .

The report and pics I received were comprehensive and thorough. His after inspection analysis was over 30 minutes long and he answered every question I had about the vehicle he inspected. I would highly recommend!

Alexander S: I highly recommend Tony. I live in NYC and found a BRZ series yellow (Only 500 were ever made) for sale in Florida. I went with the platinum inspection package that included the paint thickness test. Worth every penny! Tony is a ASE certified MASTER technician and his attention on detail is remarkable. The car is in amazing condition but he was still able to detect and pinpoint flaws on the car. Some examples: He found that the oil level was 1/2 quart low; scuff marks under the front spoiler; Small paint nick and door ding smaller than the size of a penny. He checked for any repaint, frame and flood damage (Carfax reports only show what is reported and many people don't report accidents!). Don't buy any car in FL without Tony's PPI!

James Champion: Tony is awesome. Saved me from making a bad buy on what was apparently a very low mileage, nice Porsche but was actually badly abused by the prior owner. Highly recommended you use Autospector if you're considering buying a car in his service area. Fast and professional.

Latisha Boyd: He was amazingly detailed and professional. In addition to the report he offered advice regarding how to care for the car. I plan to call him before I buy any car going forward.

celia pfeffer: I made a big mistake by going to change oil in my Bentley to a mechanic with no experience who damage my air suspension. I definitely learned this mistake, When I went to masterclass automotive and Ronald the owner and Francisco the manager took care of my car. It was extremely wonderful experience. Patrick Dyer: When my 2013 BMW 550i's engine failed at 67k miles due to known problems with the N63 engine, the dealer tried to stick me with a massive repair bill and barely lifted a finger to try to help. I turned to MasterClass due to their great reviews, and they blew me away with their service. From start to finish, they demonstrated the highest degree of professionalism, starting with Wally asking great, detailed questions on the initial phone call about what had happened, to them providing a reasonable quote, being proactive about ordering what was needed, communicating via email regular updates with pictures attached of progress, and then closing it all out with a straightforward explanation of the itemized bill. Axiom Wheels: Honest & Proactive. Over the years I've taken a few of my cars to the shop and still satisfied. What I really like about these guys is options. They're in it for the long haul and don't have to meet "sales quotas" like the dealer service reps. They always give me options and a heads up about what should be done and considerations but never high pressure. It's very simple, a car is always going to be expense. Things breakdown, wear down so it's really only a matter of WHEN you're going to do the work. Like many people, you can wait until it breaks down and then costs you more. Me, I prefer a proactive mechanical thats honest. Keep up the great work.

Hector Halford: The service is in the name, quality! I came for an oil change where I also got a free full car inspection for my BMW. Competitive pricing on the oil change and I was even able to use my AAA membership for more savings. Carlos instructed me on what was most important to get fixed and the things that could wait a little longer. All in all, they have the client in mind from your arrival to your departure. I was even given a loaner vehicle since my repair required more than one day. The loaner vehicle is what really made a big difference this time for me! I’ve used them for other repairs and I continue to come back for the great service!

A Jordan: I’m a student at the University of Miami, and I’ve been going here for my oil changes for about two years now. Every experience is so positive and everyone is so kind. Every person I’ve interacted with has been so polite and straightforward, and I’ve never been pressured into services or maintenance I don’t need. This is something I was really worried about going to a mechanic on my own for the first time. On my first visit, they identified a noise and we’re concerned it was my water pump. They explained what the part did, what would happen if it went out, and provided a clear estimate of the cost of the repair through them. I was about to head home and couldn’t afford to fix the issue right then but I was encouraged to get a second opinion and felt that they were more concerned about me getting the car fixed than me paying them to be the ones who fix it. The concern ended up being under my warranty with the dealership so I got it fixed there, but the next time I came in, Andre immediately asked me if I had been able to check it out. He was glad I got it fixed before there were any major complications. I love how kind they are and I wouldn’t go anywhere else in Miami. Services: Oil change , Vehicle Inspection

Chris Ward: Was in town on business and had my alternator die on my way out. Of course it was on a holiday and at night. Tow driver recommended these guys. Carlos called me first thing next morning. Had an estimate in my hand within an hour and had the car repaired within 6 hours. A bit more than I had expected as far as cost, but it was a rush job and the service was impeccable. Tim Consiglio: Was in town visiting our daughter at college and wanted to get her car’s oil changed, tires rotated and battery checked out. Called Carlos at 7:30 AM for a same day appt and he got me in at 10 AM the same day. This place is also a AAA authorized repair center so they have nationwide guarantee on any repairs if you’re a AAA member so I felt fairly comfortable going here without any other recommendations. I must say both Carlos (service manager) and Andres (general manager) could not have been more professional or courteous. Carlos showed me the battery report showing it was fine and the other services were taken care of while I waited in their lobby area. Andres and I had a nice conversation about the college and mentioned they sevice many cars of both the faculty and the students here. Chevylover: I go to do rebuilt inspections to DMV Rebuilt Inspections all the time. Today I took a Mini Cooper and was treated very professionally like always by Teresa and Hector. I highly recommend this inspection facility.

Ki Ki: The lady at the front desk who supposedly “owns the place” is very disgusting and rude. She started screaming and yelling at me and refused to help me because I wanted to talk to the gentleman that worked there instead of her because she had a very nasty attitude. This place should be shut down for the poor service. The guy who works there isn’t bad so I’m assuming that the good reviews were made from being serviced by him! You never know what a person is going through and to treat a customer so poorly is extremely disheartening. I pray that people find somewhere else to go as there are many options and she doesn’t deserve the business.

Elvis L: I really don’t understand how everyone says this place is any good. I took a vehicle of mines to be inspected at 9am ( first one there) and ended up leaving at 5pm with no inspection bc they were busy yelling at each other more than taking care of their customers. I was told to come back the next day (second one there) to wait 4hours before they even came out to see me. They lack professionalism and have horrible customer service. Even because of COVID, a whole day of waiting to be told to come back tomorrow and wait some more is unacceptable. Just take care of your customers one at a time. 10/10 would not recommend. $100 dollars for horrible service

Mario Arce: Worse experience ever. Took my car to get it inspected, they are very helpful at the beginning and quick at taking your money. When I picked up the car, the transmission gave up. Gave them a call and right off the manager insulted me and used his dirty words to showed me that he didn't care. It shows how professionals they are. They are starving for new clients. Stephanie Adams: I contacted Ernesto in the morning about needing to have a mobile mechanic meet me at a location to inspect a car my friend was looking to buy. Once my friend and I arrived to the car, we called Ernesto and he arrived 12 minutes later! He spent 2 hours inspecting every inch of the car, explaining each thing as he did it. When the radio wasn't working he helped figure out what was the problem and gave us an easy, quick solution. He was very kind and professional. Considering the depth and thoroughness of the inspection his price was beyond reasonable. It is well worth having him take a look at any used car you may be considering buying. He even went above and beyond when we were wrapping things up and my car wouldn't start, he spent another 30 minutes, in the rain, helping me to get my car running again. Artes de Marte: Is there any other option…? Lines take very long and payment takes a century, but somehow the inspection is done in a few minutes if you have everything fine. Only IF, because there’s always a problem, even if my vehicle is in the same condition and papers in order exactly as approved in previous inspections…

Sergey Lyubarsky: 4 hours in line so far and a COMPLETELY EMPTY BUILDING!!! Cars are called every 20 minutes or so! Avoid at all costs! Corrupt disgusting city!!!! Uber and Lyft doesn’t need anything and here you pay to wait for hours and hours and get 0 service. I wonder how many houses Uber and Lyft bought the commissioners...

Bogdan Popa Lopez: Professional employees, working at decent speed . Taking in consideration that it's a city job . They know their job and they were being helpful at least in my experience.

Mark Schnelle: Plan on all day and going around back to get in line. The left side is for regular inspections and the right is for failed/re-inspect. They have No communication, no good directional signage. Service is slow and they are apathetic (they don’t care). There have been no monies spent on this facility in a low-cost area of Miami. You can clearly see this is out Government $ in action. Meanwhile, they take in mega-millions from large TNC’s (Uber and Lyft) and give them a pass to not have to spend all day here waiting every year to give them $ for a useless permit. Government double standards in practice! What a waste!!

Javier Diaz: Closed on a Saturday when it said it’s open. They don’t answer the phone. Worst service. Miami dade should do better.

Tony Noil: Terrible service. With the exception of a couple of people, everybody that works here is a dumb ass. The incompetence level is through the roof. It takes all day to do a simple inspection. This place is a JOKE.... I would give 0 stars if I could.

Michael Alameda: I'm Glade they do there jobs right by keeping vehicles in good working order but a lot of times the lines are long and waiting time is sometimes more than 4 hours long

Baron David Kohen: Simple inspection takes 2 full business day for limos and taxis very supervisor Juliette Fulton was rude ,and uber and Lyft no inspection in Miami airport monopoy , killing small local businesses owner

JULIAN CHAVEZ: Wait times are ridiculous, over 3 hours just to get a 5-10 min inspection. Employees take their time and even take a while to call the next car. HORRIBLE!

Katharina Stockmann: I was searching for a repair shop online in order to get our suspension fixed. Found these guys and what should I say, I am amazed with their service. Not only they responded real quick, they were also able to help me out just a few hours later. Mark was great and reliable in the communication. The mechanic, Devor, was super friendly, quick and explained me everything what he was doing. Another repair shop would have charged me for 2.5 to 3 hours. Devor was able to fix it much quicker and they have fair prices, especially for this area. I am super happy and can highly recommend them.

Jamena Stewart: I was pleased with the quick response but the replacement of my electric window motor took 6 hours over two days. He did not have the proper tool. Left twice to get tools and additional parts/screws. I suppose the price was reasonable for the time, but if he were a prepared professional mechanic, it should have taken an hour. I got a couple other estimates. With the motor replaced the window rolls up/down in a jerky manner. The door molding where the window controls and door lock is located is loose. The door lock nor key fob work and the door ajar warning remains on preventing me from accessing any options on my screen such as the odometer, gas mileage etc. More problems than before. Jacob Raymond: Recently had my car breakdown in middle of no where and was having one of the worst days of my life. Luckily I was able to get in touch with this company! Mark was very professional over the phone with setting up my repair on a Saturday morning and worked with me every step of the way with where I was getting my car towed to. & when I met Omar my mechanic the next morning I will tell you by far the most honest and knowledgeable mechanic I have worked with. He loves his job and was the absolute mechanic to work and talk to. When he looked at the car within 20 minutes he knew what needed to be fixed. He ran to get the parts and had me up and running as soon as possible. After he fixed the car he checked to ensure everything was good to go and had me on my way home in time for dinner that day. I couldn’t recommend anyone better than these guys, definitely highly recommend you give them a call if you need any work done!

Juan Quintana: Not great customer service. Took my car to install tires and were installed backwards. The tires are labeled inside/outside. Went back and was told by the installer that it didn’t matter (he is absolutely wrong). I noticed the tires were making loud noise which is what prompted me to check. No apologies or acknowledgement of being wrong.

Lucas Alonso: My 88 year old father's SUV had problems with the radiator and A/C over the weekend. Unfortunately I was out of town. Ernesto took care of EVERYTHING! Including sending a Tow Truck to my dad's house to pick the SUV. ( at a great rate!) They fixed the problems and had the SUV ready in the afternoon. Very HELPFUL team and very REASONABLE! dawn cope: I came to Car Clinic of Miami after seeing its reviews and asking around to see who was recommended. My Honda was due for regular maintenance including the possibility of needing brakes. I checked in, in the incredibly clean reception, and told them I needed an oil change. I asked if they could check the brakes and the wipers. A man came back after a few minutes and said the brakes were fine, the wipers were fine but suggested I change the brake fluid and explained why. NO HARD SELL, just a suggestion. Their honesty and integrity is a breath of fresh air. I agreed. I had an oil change and the brakes fluid done and was out in just over an hour. I highly recommend them especially if you are a unsure about the ins and outs of your car abs I tired of being told everything is an emergency and it needs to be done NOW. Christian Dominic: I’ve been a regular customer for 4 years now, always took my car here for minor stuff (oil changes, brake pad replacements) and I’ve always had a good experience but this last trip was something else On Sunday morning, my car started to shake so much when idling, so Monday 9AM I dropped the car off for diagnostic, no appointments. Two hours later, 11AM, I had a diagnosis, bad gaskets, by Tuesday 11AM I had my car back. Service was fast and honest, and the price was friendly. They gave me some leeway after they gave me the initial quote for the repair. They also have a really budget friendly and convenient partnership with Hertz, where you can rent a car while yours is in the garage. So I was never without a car during this time

Joel Junco: Went to change my spark plugs. They charge $120 even if you decide not do the service. They charged me $120 for 4 spark plugs plus $209 of labor plus taxes. I called NAPA they told me each spark plug cost $8.99 yet they upcharged me $30 each. I called 2 other places within a .5 mile radius and they were only charging for everything $180. I paid a total of $376! When I confronted the mechanic about this high charge for the service his response was “ Well the place has to make money!” Super unprofessional answer and definitely what customer want to hear in this inflated economy. Never going there again. Guys please do your research before leaving your car here with these people. They’re not very honest. There’s better prices if you do 2 minute search and shop around. They upcharge on their parts and their labor. $120 for $36 of spark plugs plus labor… $376 for spark plugs never again!

Amy Lomaskin: For over a year, I had been wrestling with little air conditioning in my car. Very little came out the top vents and some came out the floor vents. I then noticed that the floor rug mat on the driver's side was wet. Not good! I didn't want to take my 11 year old car to the dealer so I went online to see who repaired car A/C's in my area. She was very knowledgeable, reassuring, and pleasant so I knew I was in good hands. "must do now" safety issues; and 2. important maintenance according to the standard dealer recommendations that should be considered within the next 6 to 12 months. He took the time to answer all my questions related to the estimates and educate me regarding the importance of proper and periodic maintenance so that my vehicle would last for many more years. When I told Doug that I could not make the final payment for the "must do now" safety issues service for almost 8-9 days after he started, he advised it was okay and that he would keep the vehicle safe. He even did extra things free of charge, like replacing my car plate and adjusting the rear bumper which was missing some of the clamps that secured it to the vehicle so it would not come loose. Doug contacted me when the work was completed, well in advance of the 9 days just to keep me abreast of the status. When I went to pick up my vehicle, I asked Doug to provide me instructions on how long I could wait until I should return to have the dealer recommended service work performed related to the second estimate. Rather than give me just one date for all the recommended service work, he broke the service down into four parts which were prioritized by importance so that I would not be financially burdened by doing all the work at once. After picking up my 2004 Toyota Solara and drove it home, I felt safe and like I was in a different vehicle. The repairs much improved the look of my vehicle. The car drove so nicely and didn't make any strange noises and the rear bumper was connected and secure. I have never purchased a used vehicle. All my vehicles were purchased brand new. Life circumstances required that I hold onto my 2004 Toyota Solara for a long time. This was the very first time any car dealership or mechanic took the time to assist me with properly servicing, repairing and maintaining my vehicle while taking into consideration my personal financial situation. Doug exhibit both kindness and care for me as a person and client. He didn't shame me related to the condition of my vehicle after he inspected it and produced the two estimates or make me feel unworthy because I don't own a new or fancy vehicle. The cost of the work performed was not inexpensive, but very fair and proper. I am so pleased with the work and can state with confidence that Doug's Automotive is "top notch" and Doug is both an honorable and caring businessman who takes good care of his clients and their vehicles. Andrew Rawson: A thick vanilla milkshake is my favorite dessert...but not when circulating in my car radiator! Furthermore, failure to properly diagnose a problem is the biggest issue in auto repair. So, after 3 or 4 other shops offered to incorrectly flush the coolant and replace the radiator, and another actually replaced the engine and flushed the coolant, Doug's methodology was: first, a careful analysis. Doug uses a compatible computer scanner wherever necessary. In this case, the solution did not require a replaced engine, radiator or coolant flush alone. The car needed a new AUXILIARY ENGINE OIL COOLER AND RADIATOR AND HOSES, any of which may have leaked engine oil into the radiator coolant. The transmission oil is cooled at the top of the radiator, so that function is replaced with the radiator. But the thick creamy coolant wasn't pink. It turned brown. Therefore, a separate auxiliary engine oil cooler located near the oil filter also needed replacement. Luckily, the transmission and engine themselves remained free of sludge. WOW! My 2007 Crown Vic was returned to peak performance. I didn't believe it possible. I'm grateful to these pros for ending this major conundrum, which resulted from being robbed by the Queens, NY body shop East Coast Automotive, a classic "chop shop." That organized crime operation transports stolen parts from its Queens customers across state lines to their New Jersey used car lot. One such customer complained in "Yelp" that his engine seized up after he brought his car there for an oil change, and they smash windows to drum up business. They regularly pay off corrupt government toilets, New York and New Jersey, in coordination with Wash.,D.C. career liars and cheater-grifters who help to neuter police. Price: $2250

Jose M. Noy: Doug's is not the cheapest in town, but his work is reliable. I rather pay a bit more one time only than having to return to any shop for the same issue several times. At the end, it is worthwhile. Doug has repaired 2 issues in my 190K mile 2011 Sprinter and I am very happy with the results. Today I am bringing it to check the engine light and an oil change. Manuel Nunez: It was recommended to me to take my pickup truck to this shop by another shop for an electrical problem that it was having. I spoke with Doug the owner and he told me he'd be willing to work on the vehicle but it would take a minimum of a week to diagnose the problem. I said to him I did not have an issue with that because I know how that can be time consuming. I also said that I had to rent a vehicle and to let me know what is happening with my truck. I dropped off the vehicle and left it there. Exactly 2 weeks after dropping off the vehicle I still have not heard anything from the shop. So I called and spoke to Doug directly and he told me that it is it was harder than he had anticipated and that he needed more time and that he wanted to talk to me about the issues it was having and that he'll call me back. I said OK and we hung up. 2 days later I hadn't heard from him so I called him back. He stated the exact same thing on this call. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and said it was ok. The next day (Friday) by the end of the day I hadn't heard from him. I ended up talking to Jimmy at the shop and made arrangements to go pick up my truck. I had passed by the shop a few times before this and noticed that the truck was always parked outside. About 2 hours later I get a message from Doug that he was working late that day and he didn't get a chance to call me back about my vehicle. I went and picked up the truck and drove it home. I then inspected it and I noticed that absolutely no obvious work had been done to it. Everything was exactly as I left it. I then get a call Monday morning from Doug stating that there was a big misunderstanding that he was actually going to work on my car that day and that it shouldn't have been released. I'm out a large rental fee for a vehicle for no reason because he wasn't honest with me. He should have told me he had too much work!! I still have to take it to another shop and rent another car to get my truck fixed. It's not fair! Service: Electrical repair

CESAR BENITEZ: After 3 weeks of having performed the service, I make a space to write a review. Actually, I didn't have the time available to do this. But at the same time, I've had enough to test my car after Doug went back to improper installation of shock absorbers from another "qualified" supplier. The explanation was simple about the damage and told me that the best thing for me was to go back to the workshop where the work was poorly done. I preferred to pay extra to make sure the work is honest and well done but not go through a claim, which would be exhausting and unpleasant, I don't have time to do that. Final words: Thank you, Dough. Excellent work! You also gave me the AAA member discount. You have another satisfied customer who will refer anyone else who needs great service.
