Mark Craddock: I am pleased to make a recommendation for Mark and Kim’s Captains school first these folks are the finest kind of people you will ever want to meet they are well known members of the Florida Keys respected here in our community by so many people. They have developed a comprehensive academic program online and in classroom that allows you to be successful as you learning the materials you need to pass the OUPV six pac testing for a Captains license. One thing for sure is the online study and practice testing online helps you build your skills a work through the topics set up in their online schooling program and you can do this at what ever pace fits your schedule. At the in class portion of the course they work with local charts and the have all of the navigational tools needed to enable you to learn all the navigational information you need. Mark is a Marine Engineer’,master Captain and gave a lifetime of service in the US NAVY he’s not just a teacher and poses a wealth of knowledgeable information far beyond just your license and Mark and Kim truly care about your success and will do what it takes to help you be successful in every aspect of your pursuit to be out on the water. They offer so many programs that will keep us learning and improving our skills and Mark is so easy to learn from and is such a pataint and kind instructor and makes learning fun. One thing for sure I am and anyone wanting to can be successful at this program and I am a much more confident sailor and a more competent Captain and safer seamen out there on the ocean. Hey the last thing I most not forget to mention is that I noticed that they really do treat you like family and take pleasure in your success for real so I know that there Captain school Miami will be successful and we still need them here in the Florida Keys

Alex Amor: Staff was extremely friendly. Maybe too friendly. Lol. Unfortunately once again the items i was looking for were out of stock. Seems to be reoccurring problem at West Marine.
William Brown: Awesome store. Great product selection and almost everything you need is immediately available. You don’t appreciate how specialized sailing gear and equipment is until you need it, and West Marine comes through!
Victor Betancourt: This is one of the better west marine stores in Miami. Knowledgeable staff, good selection, and just about everything you need for your boat wether it be pushed by engines or dragged among with the wind.

Laya Mohadeb: We had an amazing time on our speed boat ride, especially because the driver made it so exciting for us. We were able to connect our music and monitor it on our own. He named different islands we were passing and houses of celebrities. He also stopped the boat so that we can see the dolphins and to take pictures of my friends and me. Most important of all, We saw beautiful views while on the water. I definitely recommend using this boat rental.
Edward Rubin: I feel comfortable giving them 5 starts as we went out with them last April and had a wonderful time. This week we unfortunately had to cancel due to positive COVID test in the family. They refunded me and I appreciate that.
Edgar Conde: Really had a nice experience yesterday. Boat was clean and directions and tips were provided. Would have given full stars but even thought directions were provided I was not told i hd to tight the anchor. I might not be a sailor but never has to tie and anchor before on other rentals. So we lost the anchor early in the trip so I had to always be on the boat and also was told I to pay for it even though was NEVER mentioned before. Still was told it was around $100 for the anchor
Jim Wall: Outstanding experience from beginning to end. Everyone was very polite, gave helpful information, and there were no hidden/unexpected fees. Will definitely give them my business again based on their integrity alone.
Austin Wilson: Even though I didn’t rent a boat from them he shot me straight and told me that if i wanted to snorkel I would need to rent somewhere down in the keys. This is after i had payed him to rent a 20 foot boat. Money was refunded.

Guilherme Garrido: I completed my two-day basic keel course at this club with Ed, Marika, and Jonh, and I had a great time, a lot of knowledge, and experienced instructors.I would recommend it to anyone!
Tony Scornavacca: Absolutely love this place. Hang out, meet new friends and families, learn to sail. This is the ultimate "Coconut Grove" experience.
Johana Bonanno: My kids number one choice for summercamp experience. !!! They love spending the day in the ocean learning how to sail after a few hours of theory lessons in the morning and hands on practice in the afternoon. From 8-4pm. Profesional, kids friendly and very knowledgable about sailing. However, there is room for improvement: 1. Kids Security during Pick up hours. The pick up time is not very secure in terms that anybody can take your kid with you. 2. Supervisors The kids’ supervisors, that are young-adults, should be train to take care of the kids in terms of hydration and in re applying sun-block in the middle of the day. some younger campers 6,7 year old ones, are still learning to take care of themselves in regards to sun protection and come with their faces sun burned. 3.Customer Service Another room for improvement is the bar upstairs “only for members policy.” when you are bringing your kids to the camp they could at least let you buy food even more if you are willing to pay! The manager of the restaurant is not very customer-oriented in his manners towards “no-members.” With that attitude not sure if they will ever have new members willing to register. Anyways, hopefully they will improve their customer service.
Naoko N.: Very friendly club that welcomes anyone even from overseas. We come here every Christmas and have kids join a sailing training. The restaurant upstairs has a good menu. Conveniently located to walk to Coconut Grove main area.

Svet Mc: Our 9 years old son end several of his friends join sailing in the summer 2017 they loved it and now they join Fall season. Its a professionally run sailing club , has racing team qualified instructors , good with kids that age , very satisfactory.

Guillermo Buquet: Not so open to the community as they portray for their nonprofit tax exemption. I was a member, own a sailboat and had to use the public ramp most of the time. Two to three years wait to keep boat on the premises. To sail the club boats, I took their Adult Sailing basic keel course to get certified. There I met Richard “Cranky” Crisler and his side kick Ed Benitez who gives you a two day course on sailing for 400.00, then charges 60.00 an hour for “coaching” and to tell you sailing is not for you. They refuse to certify you so you can’t use the club boats which they rent for 15.00 an hour. Membership only good as a dinner club.

Kate Mannion: Extremely easy. If you are from out of state, you do not need to get a lisence before hand. Just show up get your license and they can marry you right away.

Total thumbs down 👎 I also didn’t appreciate the women’s bathroom was locked for a whole hour from 9-10am for cleaning. I find that unacceptable. I will find a different marina to go to in the future

Putu Rico: This is the worst marina in South Miami It’s like a trailer park for boats the staff is not knowledgeable at all and they’re not friendly even though they get paid by taxpayers money The Cuban employees barely speak English,Manigement is nowhere to be found it’s a shame because the property has a lot of potential.
Eddie Quintana: May I recommend dinner first at the Peacock Cafe and then walk over to the marina for a beautiful walk along the Bay! This is an amazing area of Miami called Coconut Grove often missed by tourists, very safe all set within a botanical like environment with Biscayne Bay as the backdrop!! Trust me you will love this area!

Carrie Brooks: We booked a 3 hour boat ride last minute on our last day in Miami, and it turned out to be the highlight of our girls trip!! There was parking right across the street, and getting to the pickup spot was easy. I recommend booking directly through their website, the price was very reasonable and the owner made the booking process so simple! The tour was wonderful! Such a fun boat ride! Great sights and swimming! Captain Fabian was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable and fun. Definitely book with him! The only thing I regret is not booking a longer tour. Luis Carrasco: Hands down the best experience of our trip to Miami. We took the boat tour at sunset and got to experience a beautiful nighttime view of downtown Miami. Definitely recommend you doing this at night time. We booked this last minute too and they were able to get us in at the time we wanted. In addition, our captain Jason was super nice and helpful. Bu O'Reilly: Really big thank you to riva motor sport and Rene in service department for the service on my 2017 suzuki gsxr 1000. My bike is running way better.

William Trenholm: I have no complaints about the personal. But I have been waiting for almost a year for Yamaha to honor the warranty in a cover for a boat I purchased here. So be aware that the parts or the warranty issues are not been resolved in a timely matter. I will rate this with No stars but I understand is not the dealer… at the same time dealer is a face for the product and if the can’t support the customers with the appropriate service ..
George Diaz: Riva is awesome. All employees are very helpful and genuine. Finally got my Yamaha Raptor with all the help from Ruth. She’s great! Walked me through every step of the way and now the bike is in the driveway!

Glenn Breeland: Excellent experience!! I called the day before and asked Kris if I could get a tire changed on my Harley as I was going to Daytona.. He said no problem bring it in at 9 the next morning..I was there about ten till nine and Kris and his crew were waiting on me..less than an hour later I was on my way to Daytona with my new tired mounted and balanced. Never been treated so well at any dealership..Great folks and very knowledgeable..cudos to Kris and his team,...

Service At Comfort Zone: WOW! Ashly in the building department for mechanical permits is AMAZING! She helped me with my permit that I had trouble with. She even went above and beyond to confirm with her supervisor before just telling me what to do. Thank you Ashly!
Frank A: Could improve? Yes. Is it the worse building department? Not a all there are way more complicated and disorganized building departments in the area. Online system is good and specially having the capacity of doing all online is great.
Humberto Blanco: You never get permission the first time, they always see a problem and tell you that you have to redo the plans. Good for Oscar Gonzalez, excellent attention, kindness and professionalism.

xMarineCPL: This is by far the worst building department in all of south Florida to include Palm Beach, Broward, Dade, and Monroe counties. A horrible website, very poor permitting system, no consistency with inspections or inspectors and people just pass you off to the next until you get an answering service. This list could be muck longer but as a Florida licensed contractor for over 13 years, I now refuse to do work in Miami because of this building department. It is absolutely not worth the headache and a waste of my time.
Luis Vazquez: Tell me how is possible that, Melissa Ortsand her Husband,(they both work in this building) can have on the side; a Private company (Prestige) making a lot of money with the City’s clients. She waits for clients and make proposal. Clients pay for easy inspection and approval. That’s how they can buy a more than a half million house. Now I know why I waited 4 hours to just get an information about a Permit for my Property. Bunch of Crooks!!

Patrick Alam: Great spot to relax has everything a park can ask for. Marina, beach pool, restaurant, park, trails kite surfing. If you have kids the beach pool is perfect. They have life guards and provide bathrooms with change rooms nearby.
Tricia Diaz: Beautiful park on the water. Nice atoll natural pool for families to safely swim surroundied by groomed sand. Fun to watch kite surfing to the north with view of downtown Miami and Key Biscayne. Easy parking except when tide is in and lot partially fills with water. Clean nice restrooms. Great Red Fish restaurant with Chef Adrianne was exceptional. Very fresh fish entries ($$$), variety of appetizers and good drink menu. Amazing views from bar and outdoor tables. Rooftop tables are probably open when it is warmer. A lot of great photos on here. I will add some from after dark. Beautiful drive to get there through expensive neighborhoods with amazing and unique old Banyan trees!
Desiree Arenas: Secluded area but beautiful scenery with kayaking available along with other water sports, cleanliness, lifeguards on duty. Can’t wait to go back!

Pilar Reyes: Kendall Indian Hammocks Parks is an amazing place. The nature trail area is extensive and a great place to unwind. I visited here for the first time with some friends and spent a good 1.5 hours walking around. I highly recommend it! 🌳
Skair: So beautiful, a mini forest amongst all the hectic life around the park! Mushrooms, moss, vines and vines of plants, RACCOONS AND CATS? It’s like a little fairy forest… with big scary (but safe) orb weavers everywhere! Its okay, it’s their home :) definitely coming back, to explore more!
smslanza: Nice park with easy parking, but a little uneasy seeing groups of homeless, trash, difficult to open restroom door. It just didn’t seem safe or well maintained.

Eddie B: Quiet and relaxing, great trails with many weaving through the wooded area. Paved trails for walking or cycling as well. There are pavilions available for rental, a skate park, and a workout area. My only gripe is that there were 2 kids playgrounds which were removed before the pandemic and never rebuilt.
Christopher J. Martin: Tips for disc golfers: there are 2 18-hole courses…K1 and K2. The reviews suggested K1 has better signage, so I played K1. Where to park and where is hole 1? By the skate park, near the half pipe. See my attached photos. Overall, it was a good way to spend a couple hours. Not the best course, but a good for-fun course with a nice mix of open field and tree filled holes. The signage could definitely be better, but I managed to figure it out eventually.

Max Geronimo: Great company that makes EVERYTHING in the US. Every product they make is super high quality and I am upgrading everything on my sailboat with Perko products. My sailboat is becoming the Perko Sailboat.
Mobile Mechanics: Customer support was abysmal. I would have rather no one pick up next time. The individual fielding the call was an older male. Offered very little help and had a poor attitude. These products will not be used in ANY of my builds.
Dan Bohn: I have been trying to get replacement parts for our Perko locking door for our head. I finally called Perko and got Jazmyne right away. I sent a photo of the lockset and they identified it and sent the right replacement part that day!
PrefersAnonymity: No customer support for their overpriced hardware. I will never again have another piece of Perko gear on my yacht. If a tiny part breaks due to defect they expect you to simply pay for an entire replacement piece of hardware. Worst experience so far with a parts supplier. Never again

Candace: The Dade County Fair has been around for 70 years so it has become a family tradition to go every year. I had a great time exploring the rides and sampling the delicious food. I will continue to come here.
Phaidra Laraque: Fun and family friendly. Barn and petting zoo are a must. The cutest furry friends!!!Way to exit needs to be indicated. The area is huge

Vivianne Maduro: Beautiful South Florida beach with well preserved dunes. Palm tree lines beach provides shade in certain areas. The ocean is very shallow and if you time it right, you get to see the sandbars that form that also create shallow pools that are so much fun for children. There is a road along the sand for biking, roller skating or scooters. It’s also a great place for picnics, as there is a huge grassy park area between the parking lot and the beach with plenty of picnic tables and grills. There is also a playground and little water park for children. A cafe is now open that serves sandwiches, drinks, and surprisingly good conch fritters. Overall a great place to spend the day with the family and friends.
Travelwith Soph: This was one of the best park/beach I’ve been to. It was so peaceful, clean, not a lot of people. It have the grills for barbecue you can have a get together picnic day there. There’s beach chair, lifeguards, and a huge parking lot available. At first I thought it wasn’t safe but there’s police cars around the area. It’s worth going to visit, you’ll get the feeling of being on a vacation staying under the palm trees 🌴 lol just see it as a cheap vacation getaway. One downside we had to pay for parking it doesn’t matter how long you stay you pay the same amount it’s good if you stay all day but it’s not fair if you only visit for one hour.
Nicole James: We were here on an overcast weekday, but it was not crowded at all. There was plenty of space on the beach. Nice sand. Little to no seaweed. Lots of palm trees. In the park area, there are some picnic tables and small grills. PLENTY of parking space. Would recommend.
Dr Chris Wagner: Beautiful beach, esp in the early morning. Always empty. Great sand. Lots of room, picnic tables, umbrellas, sea gulls, vultures, bikers, joggers... a nice mix... and on the key is fun by itself!
Hassan Ishqi: It’s one of the famous park in Miami on the Crandon beach and spread over a large area. It’s located on the key Biscayne. The park has sheds for get together which can be reserved in advance for party’s. It’s also less crowded than other beaches like south Miami beach and better for families outing. Also, the enjoying drive and greenery in this key is nice experience. You will get a lot of parking space which is paid and flat fee of $7 for a day paid through PayByPhone app. The park is open from sunrise to sunset.
Landquist & Son Bifold and Pivot Closet Doors: Nice park- easy parking, bathrooms on sight. A beautiful beach on the Atlantic.Stretches with no people or built up areas- a great spot to get away.
Kaitlyn Arlotta: Beautiful park with snacks, food, drinks, playground and beach. Unfortunately we were unable to swim today but the beach was still beautiful and being from the Northeast to be able to drink and eat on the beach was a treat!
