Secret Garden Miami Beach: what do users think?
Jesse Locklear
Jesse Locklear: What a great place!!!! The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, and great location close to beach. We enjoyed lounging in the lobby and the open air courtyard. Raphael and Tyson helped answer any questions we had and made our stat fabulous! They were helpful and super friendly. The bed was really comfortable, the water pressure was great, and the rooms were very clean. There is limited parking spaces so make sure to call ahead. If not the street parking was not too bad.
Response: Jesse, Thank you for your comment ! We're proud to know that you are satisfied about your experience. Have a good day, The Secret Garden Miami Beach team
Laura Urrego
Laura Urrego: Amazing hotel for the price! Very Friendly and helpful staff, they upgraded our room for no extra cost, and it’s only a 2 min walk to the beach, also near restaurants and parking was easy enough on the street. House keeping was perfect! Room was cleaned on our schedule with no annoying knocking at 10 a.m. as Miami night-out tends to run late. Recommend.
Response: Thank you for your positive feedback
Albert Voslaev
Albert Voslaev: This is an amazing spot found in a minute and a half walk from the beach. I had a discounted price for deluxe room that went above my expectations. Room was clean with fresh and cozy furniture and nice design overall. King bed and mattress are great topping towards good sleep quality. Overall - pleased and satisfied.
Cheung Mary
Cheung Mary: Terribly noisy doors. Thin walls, light sleepers avoid. They don’t even have a proper duvet cover, it’s two bed sheets covering a duvet which feels so unhygienic esp during a pandemic. The receptionist at night doesn’t pick up any calls, didn’t help us with room changes after the receptionist in the day time said it could be arranged. Raphael was very nice, the location of the hotel is great but its more like a 3 star hotel, don’t know why it has a 4 star rating.
Response: Hello Cheung, Thank you for taking the time to share your review, even though we're sorry that your visit went wrong. The experience you describe is not exactly what we wish for our customers: we will do the right thing to fix it. cordially Rafael
Yams
Yams: I stayed at Secret Garden Hotel with my sister and friend for 4 days. I was blown away by the professionalism of the staff and how exceptional they were. From the first day, the staff was awesome ! They made sure everything was explained and was adamant abt making us comfortable. I would like to take the time to shout out Tyson for his help !! Everyone else was helpful however, he went the extra mile and that makes me want to consider this hotel for my next Miami trip.
Chris Green
Chris Green: Overpriced, small, unfriendly. Not sure if it was a issue of our race or if it was just an unprofessional place. Thermostat in our room was broken, room stayed about 80 degrees all night and when I called the front desk they told me maintenance wouldn’t be there until 8am. Bed was so firm it felt solid. Shower pressure was too aggressive. No ice machine, you have to request it. WiFi was slow, TV had no major channels, you have to request bath towels. The place looks old the art looks like it’s from last century. No snacks, no soda machine. You’re paying to basically be two blocks from the beach.
Response: Hello, Thank you for informing us about this problem. We will take necessary measures. In the same way, I was checking in our system and in the most common platforms such as Booking.com and Expedia about your reservation with the name of Chris Green and I could not locate any reservation with this name, so we invite you to spend an unforgettable weekend and after this we can consider your next review Regards, Rafael
Montayo Brown
Montayo Brown: The Secret Garden is the PERFECT hotel in Miami ! I didn’t get the guy at the front desk name, but he is the coolest , well respected man you’ll ever meet. He really helped us out ALOT with the beach umbrella and towels and recommend the best place to eat. The lady that clean and the owner are very sweet and respectful as well. WE WILL MOST DEFINITELY BE BACK
jared dukatz
jared dukatz: Super beautiful all around, very clean and smells great! I can not over exaggerate that Tyson at the front desk has stellar customer service, very polite and super professional. Very impressed and satisfied with my stay and will most definitely be returning!
Response: Hello jared, We're really happy that you enjoyed your experience ! We'll send your feedback to the entire Secret Garden Miami Beach team. See you soon !
T Alexander
T Alexander: We stayed here for 2 nights on our way to Key West. The staff did a great job, it’s less than 1 block to the beach, the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and we were far enough from south beach to miss all the spring break crowd. Great stay!
Response: Thank You we hope you come back
luis akp
luis akp: Good place beds were clean and the room clean, house keeping does ur beds everyday and cleans and are supposed to replenish towels but they didnt leave enough for two days only 2 small towels and we had to call front desk. When booking a big plus was the free breakfast but due to covid(although other places offered full breakfast)they only offered coffee hot water and they also advertised bread or bagels, everytime we went down we only found coffee and butter and we had to buy our own. Read at the cvs closed by. Other then that no complains about the room it was nice and clean and loved the big bed. They should really update their website and not even mention free breakfast just for coffee which was. A huge let down, a few people were mad about the whole breakfast thing.

Secret Gardens Miami: what do users think?
Lauren Rombach
Lauren Rombach: Honestly don’t know where to start. Secret Gardens was a blessing from the very beginning. It was actually the first venue my fiancé and I saw and we immediately fell in love with everything we saw. It was an easy decision for us to choose Secret Gardens as the one - they checked all of our boxes. 3 bedroom villa on site, clear tent on the property, soooo many photo op spots, gorgeous natural environment, and no time restrictions! I was able to stay and get ready on site all day and then we partied until 1am with no issues. Then you throw in the owners… Joe & Blanca were God sends. I was able to reach out to them - text or email - at any time during the planning process and they always got back to me fast & efficiently. I felt loved, supported, and welcomed as part of their family. They care so much for all their clients and do whatever it takes to make them happy. Thank you to the whole Secret Gardens team! My wedding was my perfect day & better than my dreams!!
Shay Dee
Shay Dee: Omg!! This place is breathtaking! Who would’ve known a magical place like this existed here in Homestead! I went for a wedding and as soon as I stepped out I was amazed! I think I found my future husband and I wedding spot 💒💃🏽🕺🏽 📸/shaydeerose for more pics
Response: Shay, finding the future husband is the most exciting party! 🥂🍾Congratulations 🎊
Riding In Retirement
Riding In Retirement: This is a very complete venue, rolling over several acres in the Redlands. There are water features, Coral arches, and large areas for social drinking. The wedding venue is outstanding and can handle several hundred people if necessary. Go have a look.
Response: Thanks for the kind words and 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 review 🙏
Maria Teresa Almanzar
Maria Teresa Almanzar: At first glance of this venue, I know this would make for a day to remember for the bride and groom, even though they advised that the manager Blanca was unprofessional at the showing but, they still were in love with the venue. Helping in the day of preparations and arriving at the overnight bridal suite , I quickly noticed that it was all a facade. Lets start with the onsite bridal suite. Convenient that it on property but no proper cleaning and maintenance seen in years. You would think for roughly $1000 a night this place would be impeccable, but it was filthy! Broken drawers, animal dropping in drawers (in the ones you could open) and dust accumulation beyond belief. Being a bridesmaid, I was proactive and went go out and get a mop to avoid getting the gowns dirty that night in preparation for the morning. Again, still giving the benefit of the doubt of things being overseen. After cleaning, went to take a shower…comical! If you taken a bath in 3rd world country where you have to sway your body to get the driplet of water coming out the corroded shower head, then you know what type of shower we had in a $1000 suite. Its not the price, but that the price doesn’t align with what was provided (Some photos attached). Wedding day was finally here and the groomsmen and groom were on the way to the venue. We had arranged a elaborate breakfast spread to have ready for them upon their arrival. Once we got everything setup in the Man Cave, Blanca advised that they were going to move to the other suite that was under construction. I am trembling just thinking of here she had the audacity to suggest such a thing. First thing, contractor was CURRENTLY cutting wood and working on the front patio. So, imagine the saw dust and noise but still went inside. NOTHING! Base boards on pile as soon as you walk in, caution tape on doors, no furniture or even chairs to sit, but this is where you want to put the wedding party. She gave us the option to stay in the 1st suite with masks on (they all had no issue with that) or “Have more freedom” in the unsafe/under construction suite. I suggested the guys stay in the suite and left to check on the vendors and other pressing issues. Later to find out, Blanca gave the groom continuous attitude about their choice, so they just moved to the hut , but stayed outside due to dust. My husband in particular has bad allergies but regardless, who wants dust on your clothes, food and etc. Notice in photos-caution type in hut .So much so the photographer did the “getting ready shots” outside because it was unacceptable for his photos and couldn’t bare it. I can go on showing unprofessional texts she sent to the wedding planner and recorded conversation about threatening to cancel to wedding the day of because of “her inconvenience” but you all should get the idea. I prefer to spend my money on a stress free venue, on a clean and professionally managed venue. I would highly recommend looking into: Redland Koi Garden** For similar venue and world class service. Not to mention, she attempted to hold deposit being” someone wet towels and flooded suite”, but when asked for picture and proof , quickly refunded. Mind you, you went to suite after to retrieve our stuff and film because we saw how Blanca handled us during the wedding and what foolishness and dishonesty she may try to take it. Glad we did! STAY AWAY! Photos: • You can see the caution tape and bare room in “Man Cave” • Dust and broken drawers in “Bridal Suite” • Unable to add text messages and videos.
Melane Maique
Melane Maique: Secret garden was absolutely beautiful. My photographer, Falcon Lopez took impeccable pictures there. We rented the canoa from them, which was gorgeous, and the two woman that helped me get on were sweet and very sociable. Blanca was also very sweet and accommodating. Honestly, I loved my experience there, especially with my wonderful photographer who made the experience 10x better. If you’re doing a photoshoot, you HAVE to come to Secret Garden Miami. ❤️
Response: Melane, thanks for the kind words. We have amazing preferred vendors and Lopez Falcon Photography is one of the best in the country! Come back and see us again Thanks 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
