The attenden who helped with the weight of the copper wire informed me the price was below $3 but since I called and the office confirm at $3.05 they honored the quote. They are friendly and it was quick and easy.

"No problem, bring it in and we will take care of it." Second trip today, everyone is super helpful and just nice. They even sorted so I would get the best return. I would never consider another scrap metal yard. Going back tomorrow.

They state accepting "Aluminum (all alloys, all forms)" and "Iron / Steel" direct quotes from website; however, took them aluminum / steel roofing sheets and they refused to accept. Moreover, did not offer any recommendations. Will scream from my aluminum roof top, TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO ANOTHER SCRAP YARD!
Response: You will see on our site that we do reserve the right to reject materials and refuse service. Some examples would be overly contaminated materials (i.e. roofing with excessive tar), unacceptable materials, or sometimes during "blackout days" where we may pause buying of certain items due to equipment breakdowns or other internal reasons. We always direct rejected loads to a nearby yard to those who ask, but we cannot guarantee they will accept it either. Happy Thanksgiving, I hope we can try to earn your business another time.

Federal owners and employees treat All customer's with respect, and fairness. They accept all recyclable material big, or small. I was recommended by a Lady that loved Federal. She told me Federal pays the highest prices. They treated her , like everyone else with the utmost respect. I only deal with Federal. Thank you Federal.
Wesley D.: First time visiting any metal recycling facility. It was easy finding this place with GPS. The people working there were quick to help unload my old 22" wheels that were damaged. No hagaling from owner/manager and seemed friendly too. They gave a better price per lb than I was expecting but still painful to scrap $1200 worth of wheels for a fraction of their original cost. Anyway got rid of junk and quick pocket change is always good. Just wish I could have got a little more for my wheels but they were fair on weight (I weighed them on my scale) and price.
Amy Ca: If I could rate them a Negative star I would....I just took a bunch of wire that was Needed for personal reasons. When I get there I'm a woman alone and it took about 5 men standing around to scale apparently one load. I see them really close to the scale, A very old fashioned sketchy scale that is extremely hard to read. They told me the amount of pounds it was, I knew it was wrong but they move that wire so quickly and I wasn't going to fight with about five grown men because people nowadays are crazy. I took whatever money I had which was nothing compared to what I needed and I walked away knowing I just got Robbed. Stay away.

Aidu ri v u's: Sketchy... first and last time coming here. The lady on the phone told me 95 cents per pound for clean aluminum and when i got there the workers dropped the price to 60 cents per pound. I called again (While at the place) and she switched completely as if i didnt even speak to her and told me 30 cents .I feel like they play with your weight DO NOT COME HERE. They were unsure of what to tell us and whole bunch of whispering and sushing amonst the wokers. They try and make you look stupid... But ill let them fool me once ... All for you guys. Take your metals somewhere else. Dont give these guys a paperclip.
