Bjorn: Oh yes I really like Joanne fabrics. Sometimes the staff can be a little short but all in all everyone’s very friendly and somewhat knowledgeable. I got some really nice upholstery fabric for four chairs I found on the side of the road. It turned out really well I’ll post pictures soon.
minnie Plants: I've had the luck any time ago here there is never a line! There are always great sale prices and deals, I can never leave without buying! Staff is short but they help as they can!
Bearcat Latina: In this store you better be prepared to spend 30 to 45 minutes on check out. It literally took me five minutes to find what I wanted and approximately 45 minutes to an hour before I paid. Very inconsiderate of customer time
Carmen Hevia: Happy with all my purchases. Since my girls were in school, I'd get supplies for thier project's. Thing is, I go in for a few things and come out with more than I need. Lol it's like a candy store.
Aya: Even though this store is not as big as others has a good selection of things. The place is clean and organized but painfully understaffed. My low rating is because of that. You spend more time finding a worker to help you cut your fabric or to go to the cashier so you can pay than what you spent finding your things. They have on average 2 people so even when they want to be helpful and answer questions or guide people to where the things are, they can’t because they have to be at the register or cutting or putting stuff in the shelves etc. Is sad because I know many of the staff, as I’ve been going to this store for like 7 years, they are nice people but some days the stress and people complaining get the best of them. I hope the store really read the reviews and see that they need more people!! I honestly sometimes just go to Michales instead which happens to be a couple of businesses away in the same plaza, just because I know Joann’s takes more time. So if you go there just plan for NOT an in and out kind of shopping experience.
Tobey 055: Store is stocked in fabrics, everything else is a hit or miss...depending what you need. The store needs updating it's a bit dark and dingy.
Roger Rodrz.: Nice store to and get some nice decor's for your everyday home. Need alittle more personal but still nice place. If you have some imagination you can come up with some cool designes. They have an amazing variety of threads for every occasion. If you have someone to make you a dress this is the place to get what your looking for

Karen Di Lauro: I wish they had a bigger selection in of fabrics. The trade off is the nice employees who offer great recommendations. They are knowledgeable and also have a lot of crafty hobbies themselves.
Sarah Robla: Joann's in Kendall is the place to get fabric for retail. Their knowledgeable staff is willing to assist you in any way they can barring a packed store. Their employees have the patience of Job while keeping the store stocked and organized. Make sure you have your Joann app ready cause the deals on their really reflect at checkout but the wifi sucks. Be aware. Don't hold the line up cause you "forgot." Rant... Please don't be a Karen and get upset that the employees won't do your project instore for you for free. Too many entitled people barge into mid conversation with reps then get upset that the reps won't cater to them at every moment. I'm looking at you lady that comes at xmas time cause you dont want to follow the detailed instructions on how to cover your seat cushions. Yes, its work. YOUR WORK....not the employee with an ever increasing line while trying to cut in the line and wear a mask. Not even because it's the middle of a pandemic but because spitting while you are barking like a coked out chihuahua isn't the kind of attitude we need in Kendall. Strive to be better.

Jazzy Slime: I needed some 12x12x6 cake boxes and the 2pk they had was perfect. Price was decent as well ($6.49). The cashier was very nice that checked me out also! They are 2pc boxes not one single piece.

Carla Fernández Redondo: Great place to find many things for crafts!!!The problem is that that don’t have people around to help you, maybe it was too late 6pm , but I should recommend to open something close to brickell or wyndwood is too far ;)
Anhisha Cooper: I was conflicted between 3 or 4 stars. Here is why Inventory: 0 stars Staff: 5 stars Rewards: 4 stars Clean: 3 stars (I'm fully aware they don't control inventory but yet it seems they get little to no inventory) I constantly go to this location for my basic prop needs as a makeup artist and craft person. But the only thing about this location is inventory is little to none on alot of things. The staff at check out have always been nice, respectful and glad to help. I have had encounters with shelf stockers upset if you stop them from stocking. I come from a big box retail so I understand but customer comes first. The location is a little dingy and sad feeling cause it seems old. There are areas where inventory is just everywhere, or there is no inventory there is no inbetween. Can you find what you need ? Maybe, sometimes it's luck. Can you get a good customer interaction? Yeah.
V: Always well stocked, free parking nice family safe locale. Love their seasonal decorations. Also when the canvas are BOGO. It helps the Artist. However, I miss the 40 percent off a regular item coupon
yoladys quintana: UToday I had such a horrible experience. I kindly asked the cashier If i could speak to the supervisor regarding donations for the wonderful super teacher from seminole elementary for teacher appreciation week. Im a mom and part of the PTO board, I never spoke to the manager instead a worker came with a very ignorant attitude didn't even look at me. She spoke to the cashier making me feel a liar/ piece of garbage. Maybe she thought I wanted those donations for myself. She also said to me that they had never been asked that question. She rolled her eyes. And started talking very low with the cashier, i guess making false assumptions about me. Very very disappointing, horrible customer service, never coming to this store again.

Organized and clean store. No public bathroom available. Take advantage of coupons and specials. Parking may not be close to the store due to sharing parking lot with the shopping center.

So better Update business hours for 6:50 pm or find employees who need and want to work!

Ashley Hernandez: Besides the store smelling kinda musty everytime I walk in, the staff is friendly and the yarn selection is awesome. I live for their deals and make sure to save your receipts if you ever want to do a return... if you don't have it they can only give you 50%- I learned this the hard way :/

Deese Rodriguez: You need a full day to explore every nook and cranny of this amazing store! They've got something for every place in your home...and at great prices! The only thing that is a bit of a deterrent is that a large portion of their inventory is religious, referencing Bible verses and phrases including "God" , "Lord", "Him"...so it limits choices for some. Otherwise, this place is my favorite way to spend a Saturday!! Closed Sundays, by the way.
Marisela Ceballos: Excellent experience in the framing department with an employee named Kevin. He was very patient, considerate, and very skilled. I'm so pleased!

frauke de landtsheer: Worst customer service ever. I bought some fabric with a defect I didn't notice until I cut into the fabric. I couldn't get a replacement just big enough to finish my garment (didn't ask for the whole yard) They offered me a refund for the fabric that was still uncut. Won't be returning here ever again. Do not recommend.

H Fernand: New HOBBY LOBBY store in Miami! Located in the commercial area of the RiverLanding building, easy to park! Anyone who knows the Hobby Lobby stores knows what to find. Who does not know advise to visit !! 😊 With lots of materials to craft! All kinds of materials (Artificial flowers, canvas, paints and brushes, fabrics, etc ... etc). It also has decorative objects for all areas of the house, and for all tastes! Well organized and tidy store with very friendly and attentive employees.

Realtor Time travel: 5 employees, one manager. 1 register open. Everyone around the only register open, line building up, i am 3rd in line and 2 more ladies behind me, i asked the manager if there is only one register open, he says yes. Hmm 5pm busy hour. And all these employees around including himself. And it isn’t the first time, it always takes me more than 15 mins just to pay one item at this location. Horrible.

Sabrina Walter: It was my first time shopping at this art store and I have to say, it’s literally so amazing. Everyone is so nice, the aisles are like you are in heaven but so many different things to choose by. I had so many questions and everyone answered it in the best way possible. I know for sure it can be pretty expensive but the supplies are worth it. Thank you so much for a great experience.

Nick Hernandez: This place is great. I used to go every now and then but I've been painting more since the COVID situation. Now I frequent the store more often and the people here have helped me improve my painting skills. All the employees there are super polite and very good at helping me with my questions. Theres a few workers there that I always try to specifically get input from because they have been so helpful. I wish I could've caught their names for this review but they are wonderful. I literally just got home from a visit there and I got excellent help on what I needed for my next project. I've been able to enjoy this hobby more and this place always has just what I need. I included some pictures of just a small sample of things I've painted using Blick paints. I've done a lot more and will continue to do so and will continue to go to Blick to get materials and advice. Excellent location and excellent employees. They should get recognition for their efforts. Great, friendly people.

Natalia G: Blick has to be my favorite art store to visit. They always have what I need, and if they don't, the staff is very accommodating to my needs and help me find alternatives or they help me make an online order. This store always has something new to discover and are up to date on trends, as well as having the supplies I've relied on for years. No other art store I have visited has their excellent customer service and expertise, from both the staff and the managers. If one of the staff members don't have an answer for my questions, they will find a fellow associate or manager in order to help me out. The staff and management are so kind and knowledgeable of the items they carry. I enjoy having conversations with them about my projects and how to make them better, as most if not all the staff are artists as well.
Sabrina Alfonso: I moved away from the area and now need to drive nearly an hour to make it here, but its worth it. Have been getting my supplies here since 2011 and although a lot has changed, it's still the best art store around. I have seen recent reviews saying some negative things and do not believe them for a minute. Everyone on staff is very nice and helpful and the store has a great vibe.
Gisselle B: I had to return some items but had no receipt, called blick customer services and they said it would be possible but they have to contact the store. One rep said I should try calling and see if they have such receipt. I called on 01/02/22 2:46PM and was told by one of the workers that the customer service rep was incompetent and doesn’t know how the machine in store work and they wouldn’t be able to track my purchase. I was given attitude for evening asking such question. I return the items for store credit and was very angry to later see customer service reps were able to locate the receipt.I could have return my items to my card if I had not listen to this misinformed worker. I wasted time and more money. Not much left I can do, but Please inform yourself workers correctly in what they can and cannot do and not just assume.
Response: Our goal is for all of our customers to have a great experience in the store. I'm sorry you had a bad one. We hope to meet better expectations next time.

Sage Blue: Customer service on point👍🏾. Store has all good arts and crafts. Got custom frame work done there and they was very professional. A lil expensive, but worth it because of good quality and last longer. I would be going back to get more of my pictures frame. Also, its in a plaza where some stores about to open up, like Burdines, Dds, etc.😊
v s: The yarn selection is not very good 😕 they don't have that much yarn at all. They have the world's smallest yarn selection ever 😞
Mark Hoerber: We went just before Easter and there was 50% off Easter items so that was great. As a non-artist wanting some basic watercolor paint I ended up having to buy a kiddie set, it would be nice if there was a beginner section. Picked up some frames, couldn't find any white paper sized 8' x 10'. It wasn't very busy, so with 2 cashiers working, there was barely a wait to pay.
Kim Ranger: Everything arts and crafts. PLUS d.y.i decorative pieces for home or outdoors. It's a place to go if you're into making your own necklaces, bracelets, wall art, decorations for even a baby's ceiling and walls

Sky S. (Sky): there aren’t many arts and crafts places that are as ubiquitous as michaels and, unfortunately, hobby lobby. michaels’ offering pales in comparison to hobby lobby which is bad but at least michaels doesn’t fund conversion therapy, which is good.
Eilee Murray: They had what I needed but it was difficult to find and oddly organized. The staff had differing information and knowledge about the products I wanted-- but it's a Michaels, so that's to be expected. Only come here if you can't find it elsewhere or if you're in a crunch.
strongislandgal: Sorry...this store is very close to me, but I'll make the drive to the Hobby Lobby on the Miami River, that I find so much better in every way. This is a nice new Michael's with typical Michael's stuff. For me it will be emergency use only, and it will be nice to have it closeby for some very basic craft use., but even so....it was out of things like super glue gel, and packages of basic sewing needles and the knitting needle selection was terrible. I've gone three times to see how it is progressing.I bought some ribbon after Christmas. One day there were very nice men in the frame department, but most times can't find anybody to ask about anything, and everytime a LONG, LONG wait at checkout. (Nice checkers though.) I find many of the products are poor quality, not very creative buying. Too bad-- I have been waiting so eagerly.

Sam R: Oscar in framing is genuinely the best. My new husband and I were gifted a painting of our wedding and needed to get it framed. We found it daunting, so we had.... put it off. Oscar made everything easy and fun! He had me explore some options outside of my initial comfort zone, and he was right!!! I am so happy we came across Oscar and think he deserves all the raises. He made a dreaded task a fun experience, has such an incredible eye, and we felt so at ease with him. Incredible!
David Dawson: 20% off helps. Got a nice set of candles for $9.99. Cotton Candy, Strawberry, Pineapple, & Apple. Our office smells so delectable.

N. Grant: This place is always crowded by Dadeland, you always find great deals if you have time to hunt. A lot of the cracking in the Tori is not always out and it’s easy stuff in bins underneath or on top and you have to find an associate to help you. I’ve noticed there are very few associates on the floor

C Myers: This is the Michaels at 8354 South Dixie Highway in Miami in the Dadeland Station Mall. We brought in a beautiful print to be framed in their Custom Framing area. Shanika helped us with this on our 35th anniversary. She took such good care of us as we ordered this custom frame for our living room. Jonah Alexander: Buyer beware! They do not honor return policies. If you have a return they will only give you a partial refund, which is half the cost of the product. I’m not talking, I opened the product and returned it, I’m talking, it was still wrapped in the plastic and I had the original receipt. I talked to Ingrid, who presented herself as the manager and she lied and said, the product was actually on sale and that’s why I was getting the partial refund. Talked to the actual manager, Michelle, and she gave me 3 contradictory answers why I don’t deserve my refund. Clearly, Ingrid and Michelle aren’t knowledgeable enough about Michael’s return policies and are robbing people of their money. Who knows how many customers they have done this to. Finally, I called corporate and a very many thanks to Juan for ensuring me that THEY were wrong and making sure I got my full refund. Buyer beware, they will rob you if you ask for a refund.

Dane Luke Wagner: The place is clean, well stocked and organized. Easily accessible as well. The services are solid, I appreciate the store pick up and curb side service. The 4 stars is because it was a little tricky to get help from the workers there. When we needed help 2 different people saw us and literally like ducked down and walked away quickly. Besides those two people...the experience was great.
Shaun Fuller: First time in a very long time when I have been able to find a Sales Associate so quickly, so knowledgeable and so affable. Thank you for making this shopping trip enjoyable. While the store didn't have all the pen ink refill styles I was trying to find, the Sales Associate quickly identified what would work for two of them as well as identifying the small cell cluster batteries that were in stock for 3 other pens there if I needed them!
Theresa Morales: Not very helpful people in this store. I have a learning disability and I had a hard time trying to print a document from my laptop. The two young men did not assist eventhough I asked twice, they spent more time with a younger person. They spent about 3 minutes by asking me to look for my document in laptop, neither one helped me navigate through my laptop. They both said to email the document and both times I told them that it went through so that I can recieve confirmation so that they can print it. They insisted I never sent it. Once my laptop ran out of battery after waiting at 30 minutes in line, I could no longer show them proof I sent it multiple times. I finally left ery upset, and guess what all 3 emails were there to show proof that I had confirmation number! They were extremely unprofessional and insensitive. Shame on you and your management to hire incompetent staff. I will never come in to this store....btw, all the people standing around in front of the store whether on the phone or having a fun time chatting, could have helped me or anyone in line waiting for that matter.

Sue Vespi: I always go to Office Depot when I need any type of office supplies. I find the staff very helpful and Elias was extremely helpful at checkout. I also had great help from another gentleman who was helping me find correct ink refills.

Ali Omar Prevez: This is the best place to resupply your business or home office. They always keep a good stock on products and they always have specials discounts on selected items. If you are running needing some prints this is the perfect place because is most of the time empty. They have great customer service and always available to help.

He was alone and had many clients, and that did not affect the quality of his job. He is a great worker, and in my opinion, he deserves to be promoted.

I got there, there is a HUGE sign that says that there are no lines, so I texted, sent my name and last name when prompted, it was supposed to be my turn, but some people that were just waiting in line were taken care of before even asking for their names. Khayos: Faxing at office max is highway robbery. Over 2 dollars a page. A job application cost me 16 dollars after tax to fax 7 pages. Don't ever give them your business. Find another place to handle your documents. Thieves. Additional info as of 10/14/2020. I emailed the "owner" below at the requested email the day they posted it, and I have had no one reach out to "try and make things right." Also additionally my receipt shows $2.06 in tax for a 15.63 $subtotal. That is ~14% sales tax when the sales tax in south florida/miami is 7%. That is just another level of thievery.

Liliana Espinosa: I had a bad experience with this business because I went to send a fax and they charge $1.89 for the first page and $1.69 for additional pages. You think this is expensive and too much money and you think that you will be pay for the Florida tax. No no... they charge additional 2 taxes without telling you. Eve J: Compared to other stores some items are overpriced and some of the price tags under items are incorrect. Some of the staff is lovely but I had a somewhat negative experience with one of the workers. They overcharged me for a product and inputted the wrong phone number but instead of retyping it they simply told me to go online and fix the issue as if it were my fault. I am very displeased after this visit. Next time I'll just go somewhere else.

Amores Dental Dadeland: Steve, one of the managers, always goes above and beyond his duties to make sure our orders are correct and that we leave the store feeling valued. This store has great customer service. The employees always have a smile and treat people with respect.
Just Me: Appreciate being able to go to a bricks & mortar store when there are things that you just need to get in person, or last minute. Inventory was great for office supplies, sales associates were helpful and polite, and prices are great.
