Aleida Calfucura: My insurance company was threatening to cancel my insurance because I needing coating on my flat roof and some minor repairs . Joseph did really go above and beyond with Speeding up the work to make sure it was done on time to prevent the cancelation of my insurance. There was some minor details that I was not satisfied with with the detailing and as soon as I discussed it with the Luis he immediately sent out Miguel the service manager and they resolved the issue for me. I highly recommend this company. They were professional, fair priced, on time, and quickly responded to me both before and after the work was completed to ensure my satisfaction with the work completed.

Jim Partin: Very fast to tear my old roof off and put up new paper. Since then, have not been kept in the loop at all. Had to constantly call for progress just to get new roof delivered. Now it’s been sitting in my driveway for nearly two months. They’ve shown up one day to put up some of the edging and have disappeared again. More calls and a promise to be kept in touch. They have not kept up their promise to keep me in the loop yet again, and my roof is sitting in the drive way still. They refuse to give any dates, whether it be when a crew will arrive or when the job will be done. Deeply disappointed in the lack of communication. You can be better. Please finish my roof. Hilda Horta: Owner pulled a permit without authorization And never closed permit. I got a violation notice for $510. He's not professional. !! I only asked for a estimate and how dare he pull permit via internet without my consent!! My brother had passed away in January , 2020 he was the homeowner . Permit was pulled on May, 2020 And house was still under my Brothers name !! I..do not recommend High Point Roofing

What I thought was going to be a painful experience given some bad experiences with contractors in general, turned out to be incredibly smooth and flawless process of getting a new roof. I initially interviewed 7 roofing companies for quotes on my re-roof. Canopy was not the cheapest, nor was it most expensive, but it was the only company that provided me with assurance of their experience and straight answers to all my questions. Its very professional team came out to my house bright and early every day, and within 3 days finished my new roof. Michael Langlois: I own a home in Coconut Grove. After interviewing about 9 roofing companies I selected Canopy for the thoroughness of their estimate. I didn't want any surprises. Most roofers will give you a base quote on a roof but when you look at the charges for plywood and this and that, your $30,000 estimate quickly becomes a $40,000 surprise. I knew my roof and, more importantly, I could see that what Canopy was planning to do was the best approach among many. From soup to nuts this is by far the most professional and conscientious company I have ever dealt with. Federico, the owner of Canopy, has a wealth of experience and he doesn't cut corners. They showed up on time. They cleaned up. They operated like a well oiled machine. You might find a larger company and you might find a cheaper price but you will have a hard time finding someone who will do what Canopy does. They are awesome. Service: Roof installation

Danielle Moore: We had the best experience with this company. They are super responsive, on time to the very minute, fairly priced and hard workers! We were extremely impressed. We had a last minute nightmare with the house we are buying, Alex came to the house twice on the last day of the inspection period to help us out even though it was very short notice. The team was able to complete the needed repair a week later and the inspectors came the following day and gave us a clean report and said everything looked great. If you have any experience in Miami with contractors, you know it is very difficult to find reliable people who do what they say they will do when they said they would do it. This company was so easy to work with. No calls, texts or emails went unanswered. They were transparent throughout the whole process and even upload before, during and after photos of your repair to a drop box for you to check as the repair progresses. Would definitely recommend this team and working with Alex as well was a pleasure. He is super responsive and helpful, he even stopped by our house to pick up the check so we didn't have to pay a 3% credit card fee! We really appreciated his help during this stressful process. Armando Parra: Let me start by saying that I interviewed seven roofing companies. One offering the Ygreen scam. I call it a scam because the authorized companies Ygreen has chosen are charging DOUBLE what the FMV is for new Roof, and New Impact Windows and Doors. Other Roofing companies listed on Angies, and Home Advisors had no interest in my wanting to pay CASH for a new roof. They wanted me to scam my Homeowners Insurance. Hence the God Sent recommendation from a neighbor to call Canopy. I am a Detail Focused person. I am NOT OCD, but I am focused on details and big on process. And Canopy went beyond my expectations as to both. From tear down of the old, to the finished new roof. Immaculate finishes and incredible work ethic. It is not easy seeing a massive tarp covering your in ground pool. But Canopy did it during tear down to assure none of the old chips and chunks of the old materials fell into it. When done I could not find any pieces of the old tile anywhere on my property! Super Clean. I highly recommend Fede, Claudia, Melvin, Osmany from the Canopy Team. FYI, they were priced the same as others. See my pictures. One key detail.... they paint all the aluminum vents same color as the tile. This is only required in the city of Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay. But Canopy does it on every install. Looks amazing. See my pictures.

Andrei Obrea: We are very happy with the work Canopy Roofing did for us. We highly recommend them. Juan came to check our roof and discuss our needs. We were not pushed to replace the existing roof, Juan was very realistic indicating that our roof is old but it may have some life left in it. After we decided to replace the roof, the contract was very detailed and clear, the price was fair. The estimation of the timeline was realistic, taking into account that summer weather may delay their work on jobs scheduled ahead of us. During the entire interaction with Federico, Juan, Melvin and the rest of the team from the very beginning to the end, they were very professional and efficient. Any time we needed to contact Canopy they answered the phone or returned the call within minutes. All our questions and concerns were addressed. We received clear and competent explanations of the work to be done. Once the work started, the team was very efficient. At the end of the project, they left our property as clean as they found it, they covered the pool and areas around the house during work. After they left we did not find any nail or debris from their work. Initially it seemed unusual to find a contractor with vast majority of reviews being positive. They are by far and away the most reliable and professional company I have had the pleasure of working with. Any roofing project I’ve need, wether it be a smaller repair or complete re-roof, they always do a fantastic job and my clients love them. It’s not easy finding good quality contractors in Miami and I can definitely vouch for Roof-Tech as one of the best ones you’ll find!
Alex Torres: Had a pretty severe leak coming though our tile roof and needed it taken care of quickly. I called Miami Roof Tech and spoke with David and explained it was urgent, he sent someone out to inspect the roof the same day and was able to have it repaired the next morning. Haven’t had an issue since the work was done, thanks again!

Amelia Harold: I can honestly say I was very impressed with the work Roof-Tech provided on our home. The service was fantastic and there were many things that really stood out to me. The first is how thoroughly they explained the entire process and any possible issues that may arise so we were prepared for just about anything. Next, they gave us a very reasonable timeline for the roof replacement and kept us updated throughout the process and actually finished ahead of schedule. I would much rather have a contractor give us a realistic timeline and finish ahead of schedule then have someone lie to us and say it will be finished much faster then it can be done and leave us frustrated. And lastly, the customer service and responsiveness was just incredible. I received answers to emails almost immediately and never felt out of the loop or concerned about anything. So yes, I would 100% recommend this company!

After obtaining multiple quotes, Roof-Tech offered the most competitive pricing as well as the best warranty of the bunch. But more importantly then that, the level of customer service we received was amazing. However, what really surprised us was how quickly the work was done, while most other company's had wait times of 2-3 months, they were able to finish the entire roof within 2 weeks from when we signed the contract. Timothy Robinson: Roof-Tech just finished a complete replacement of our condo buildings flat roof and it was fantastic working with them. I am on the board of the condo association and after interviewing four company’s, we selected Roof-Tech because of how thoroughly they explained every aspect of the project as well as their superior customer service. They also assisted us a great deal with our insurance company and in my opinion went above and beyond in that aspect, if ti wasn’t for their tireless effort, we may not have even received the funds to do the roof. Once the work started, our dedicated project manager gave us daily updates with detailed descriptions and pictures of the progress for everyone at the building to see. The work was completed on schedule as promised and we did not receive a single complaint from any unit owners which honestly still amazes me. An awesome job from begining to end!
David Virzi: We hired Roof-Tech after seeing several roofs they completed in our area after Irma. They were highly recommend from our neighbors and after working with them I can see why. From the designing phase, choosing colors and discussing project timeline with Antony, the project manager, to the very end upon final inspection, it completely flowed. My home was left in impeccable conditions after every working day; there was not a screw or a candy wrapper left on the floor for those 2-3 weeks of transformation. Antony was constantly updating me to inform me of the progress and expectations. I was never negatively surprised and communication was never an issue. Nothing happened without my knowledge or approval. The workers were very respectful and hardworking. I have honestly never experienced this kind of service in the construction industry. Rob Silver: I initially sought a quote from Istueta figuring it would be an honest assessment, but a high price. Turns out it was honest and an incredibly fair price. The initial advisor explained all the potential work to me and I was ready to roll right then. As soon as we paid the deposit, the project manager Tony did an amazing job of explaining the process and getting the crew out there ASAP. Tony really excelled at making sure we knew what was going on and when. Due to it being an older house, there were a few (expected) hick-ups along the way. Tony was very thorough at explaining the issues and all my options, laying out the pros and cons for any decision I would have to make. When something needed to be done outside of the scope of the roofers, Tony was able to provide contacts that allowed us to continue work without delay. He was an All-star PM. At the end of the day, you might pay slightly more with Istueta but the quality of the work, the quality of the workers, and the professionalism of the team make it worth it. They were able to quickly get permits approved and all the work done before the rains come. I have already recommended them to my neighbors and family members. Mrs CGG: This is the only company that needs to come to do some sort of physical inspection. The guy who came and inspected did not give me my quote. It's been over two weeks and the times I have reached out to him he avoids me in a sense. Camille Beaudet: First, let me state that the quality of the roof they installed appears to be excellent. The problems I have with Top Seal are the lack of professionalism and poor communication. My roof project began on 4/24/20. At the time, I clearly explained to Ron that obtaining a new wind mitigation certificate (to lower my homeowners insurance) was an extremely important aspect of the project. I was initially told the project would take about 2-3 weeks to complete; however, due to rainy days, we got off to a slow start. I expected that I would get a text or call when a crew was coming out to work, but that rarely happened. In almost all cases, people just showed up and then disappeared. The crew were careless about how they treated my property, trampling my landscaping and failing to properly clean up after demo (causing a roofing nail to find its way into my car tire). My master bedroom has an exposed beam ceiling, and on the day they removed it, I got no warning. The roof was removed, opening my bedroom to the elements and scattering dirt and debris all over the room. On another day, one of the workers broke a spindle off my bronze iron fencing and attempted to reattach it with white caulking. No, I'm not kidding. The gutters were attached without the use of a level and had to be removed and reattached. The gutter spouts were mismatched and had to be corrected. And the underside of my carport roof was left unfinished, again causing a call-back to correct. Ron did his best to address all of the issues and ended up knocking some money off the price as compensation, which was fair. After all the mishaps, my roof was finally finished on July 8. Now here I am on Dec. 28, still without everything I need to get an insurance discount for the new roof. Ron did provide a wind mitigation certificate, which was not properly completed and had to be corrected twice. The insurance company also requires photos, which I have asked Ron to provide on at least 5 separate occasions. It's about a 50/50 chance that any given text to him will get a response, and the last two are unanswered. Based on other reviews, it seems Ron's brother Carlos helps him with the company, so I am hoping this review prompts a call and resolution of the photo issue. Ron is a nice man, but has really poor follow-up. Service: Roof installation
Esteban Colonia: I must confessed I'm always skeptical when it comes to booking estimates or hiring a firm to perform repairs on my properties. Unfortunately in South Florida some contractors play the role of sharks very well and deliver poor results/repairs. When I stumbled upon TOP SEAL all my concerns and objections were met with excellent customer service, performance, repairs, and an AMAZING WARRANTY COVERANGE!(applied it once, and their word was honored). Carlos and his brother, and staff will make you feel like family. I've had the pleasure to work with them on two different occasions with two different complex roof leaks and the results were on point. Reasonable prices, very punctual, always answers the phone, and the warranty really backs their work. Please give them a try you wont be disappointed and your money will be well invested!!!

They are professional across the board THE PEOPLE, THE OWNERS, THE STAFF THE CREW My roof was replaced in 2017 after hurricane Irma and I am to this date very pleased with the results and the overall experience. They were extremely organized, timely and very communicative. The quality of the products and the craftsmanship are unsurpassed! The project went smoothly and when they were done they cleaned up everything and everywhere at my property! They even power washed the house and the driveway!! Talk about taking pride on what they do and their level of commitment and care! This year again, 2019 Top Seal Services has demonstrated the kind of company they are, which is why I am sharing my experience: 3 days ago – they went above and beyond the call of duty for us when I called them out to take a look at my roof after we had really bad weather and debris damaged a section of it (something hit my roof and make a hole on the side – aka a bullet, branch, etc – we’re not sure) Not only did they come out the very next day and inspect it but they went ahead and repaired my roof as a courtesy to us and at NO CHARGE!!! Even though this was NOT their fault – It had nothing to do with them – but rather with environmental factors – but they were kind and generous enough to take care of this for us and relieve us of the worry!!! Where do you nowadays find a company that values reputation over anything else!!! It is almost unheard of! A gem. A true American Values based company with a soul that upholds to the highest standards. I hope this helps others consider this company for their next projects, whether big or small – If you are looking for quality, professionalism and long term value; Hands down this one is the best!!!!

Hannah Martinez: After the 2017 hurricane season here in Florida 90% of the community I live in had to get their roof re-done. A lot of my neighbors got their roof re-done by Top Seal and I was so impressed with their work that I decided to give them a call. I am so glad I did because they did an amazing job! My roof looks GREAT!! The office staff and roofers were very friendly and professional. They answered all my questions and concerns. 100% recommend!

Skip Van Cel: I've now done three roofs with Ron and Carlos. This company has been the best roofing company I've ever worked with. Even when issues crop up 3, 4 and 5 years after the job has been done (not related to their work, flat roofs in Florida are notorious for issues) they've come back and taken care of the problem. Professional, reliable, and everyone in the office and on the job site are super helpful. I was so grateful to find they were working in the Orlando area as I needed work on a building in Vero Beach. Work that 3 other roofing companies could not get right. Top Seal got 'er done! Call Ron and Carlos first and you won't have to go through the headaches you will with another roofer.

Steven K Upton: We had a roof done by Top Seal three years ago, it appears to be a very well done job and all was good until we discovered a leak near the chimney. I got a hold of Ron and he came out quickly, assess the situation and sent a guy within a couple days to do a repair. The repair consisted of siliconeing around some flashing which did not resolve the problem. I contacted Ron again and he said he would be out on a specific day. No one showed up, no phone call, no response to voicemails or text, nothing. We will be hiring another company to do the repairs that Top Seal should’ve done. Personally, I like Ron he’s a nice guy, professionally, with the lack of response I’m not sure this is a company you should put on your shortlist. Update..... Since writing my initial review, I got a call from Carlos, who is Ron the owners brother. He stated he is the guy that handles repairs. He apologized for the lack of response and told me he would be out to assess and correct the problem. He sent out a guy who took up the tiles around the chimney and determined there was some water infiltration. He applied electrostatic mastic around and up the chimney. This resolved the problem with the leak. After allowing the mastic to dry for a couple days he had his guys return and replace the tiles. I am now satisfied with the repair and ultimately the service I received from Carlos.

Beth S: After reading reviews of roofing companies it was scary to hire anyone! There are negative and positive reviews on every roofer. Del Sol was recommended to us by friends, and had the fewest negative reviews, so we took our chances with them. I give 4 stars because we are happy with the work they did. The roof looks great. It doesn’t leak. However, I do take away 1 star for a few reasons. One, the job took much longer than it was supposed to, and not just because of weather. Two, several “crews” come out to the house for different jobs. The first crew was very considerate and clean. But, several crews after that would leave their trash in our yard. I spoke to the crew manager and our salesman several times about this. I really don’t think that I should be cleaning up the trash of people I’m paying to do a job. There would be water bottles, Gatorade bottles, soda cans, and cigarette butts in the yard and pool almost everyday. I try to not make too big of a deal out of this, as it is very hard to get good quality workers these days. But it did cost them a star. Three, the roofers left a lot of tar on both my front porch tiles, and my backyard travertine tiles. We had to ask for weeks for them to come out to clean it up. I thought it was finally done, but I’m discovering more that I’m going to have to clean myself. Finally, the company was calling us to sign off on the job so that they could get paid when the final inspection had not passed. There were still a lot of nails and roofing debris around the yard that should have been cleaned up. But, since we signed off before we knew that the final inspection hadn’t passed, we were left to clean those things up ourselves. That’s on us. We shouldn’t have assumed that just because they were demanding their money that the inspection had passed. All in all, we are happy with the job they did, hence the 4 stars. I include the details of our experience to help others with their choice. I would hire Del Sol again, but I would be a little more careful about some things.

Finance jobs are not due upon final inspection, it is due upon completion of work this is the way is described in your agreement. The reason why is done this way is because we have some requirements in order to pass final inspection that sometimes the homeowner is the responsible one. In your case we were asking for your gas vent letter since day one and it was not provide for the final which was scheduled the same day we asked for your signature and we failed. The fact the money was collected wouldn't affect your demands, if you contact our office in order to clean any areas in your home we will be more than happy to take of that for you. Actually I'm advising my customer service to contact you now as I write this response to resolve any concerns you may have. Our customer will always be our main priority !!!!!!!!!...

Need a roofer call someone else DO NOT USE THEM RUN RUN YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID. kelly fulton: I have a contract with them for a new roof however I am thoroughly unhappy with their customer service. They are slow to respond to questions, don't provide updates, and when they do it's often unprofessional. I asked for one very important document to be provided timely and to this day it is still not provided no matter how many times I clearly ask. I missed a huge deadline with my homeowners insurance due to this.

We had been waiting for your association approval since you signed the contract with us, this is the homeowner responsability, this document is needed it in order to submit your permit to the county. Our office has been in communication with you at all time. You provided your approval in October 28 to our office, your insurance deadline was October 29, you only gave us 24 hours to obtain a permit, that is impossible, still we went ahead and provided you with a process number to show to your insurance company. In addition, I will like to add to this subject, the insurance companies notify homeowner with 90 days in advance before taking any actions. We appologies for any inconvinience this may cause you, but we asked you before giving a review to a business put all the details in order. This is a public site that allow homeowners to make decisions when doing business with service companies. It is not fair to rate a company in a negative way when we have been trying to help you at all time. But I really want to emphasize on the job the roofers do; in my opinion, they are the ones that make the company shine. Out of the three roofing companies I called for an estimate, Perfect Roofing of Florida was the only company to return my call instantly and schedule a visit to give an estimate for my roof/leak repair. Emmanuel was very professional, seemed very honest and straight forward when showing me where the problem on my roof was. After providing me a quote, we decided to schedule the work for the following week and was very accommodating to my schedule. The day of the repair, Emmanuel and a crew arrived on time and began the work. John Black: There's not much too add than what other reviewers have already said. Nothing but superlatives. His prices are more than fair considering the quality of the work. We had a relatively old asphalt shingle roof that needs to be replaced and we went with the concrete tiles. Plus he always answers the phone if you have any questions or concerns. That almost never happens in this city, at least with my experience. I'm sure there are a lot of other quality contractors out that there, but he's up there with the best of them.

Paul Posnak: We were in luck to have called Mainland Roofing regarding our two roof leaks.They responded right away, came the next day to estimate the causes and remedies, explained , with clear photos, what was wrong with each spot and how to fix them, and gave us a very reasonable invoice. One of these leaks was tricky to fix, dealing with old roof materials interfacing with a new addition. They had to come out two more times to re-seal the joint spots with silicone and re-surface the old sub-roof. They did this with no delay after our calls, and with no additional charge. Living in Miami, the weather can very sunny, at one instance, then rainy and humid. The influx of rain, especially during the summer, caused a leak in our roof. Antonio Ruiz: I had a leak and called them via a friend referral. Molina came 2 days later, gave me an estimate and also mentioned reroofing. Our roof was approaching the 30 year mark so we took it into consideration. He was very willing to answer questions and was extremely transparent. After all permits, work, contract, etc were completed, I was still in contact with him over general concerns relating to insurance and he spent time continuing to help even after his role in the matter was complete. MARIA F: I was able to quickly obtain an estimate for a total roof replacement for my single family home. As I shopped other companies, it didn't take long to realize that the quote was really affordable. Once I signed on, the timeline was rapid: City permit applied for & issued (city permit process was longest bit), the roofing crew plus supplies arrived within a day-two after permit issued, and ultimately my 1100 sq ft "rolled roofing" was completed in 2-days including the wood decking replacement that my home needed due to damage. I have been a multiple property owner in the past, and have personal experience contracting for home repairs and improvements. I can honestly say that I have never seen a roofing crew work so diligently. I was truly impressed. Roof easily passed inspection as well. No call backs. James Brown: In Miami it is hard to get good contractors and even workers to show up that do good work. This company has great contractors that take pride in the work they do. They are on time and do an amazing job. We needed roof tile repairs and a few leaks and wood soffit repaired. They did a great job in less than 5 full days. Tracie Todd: UPDATE: I wanted to give an update on my roof repairs I had done close to a year ago. We have had tons of rain the last few weeks and my roof is still doing GREAT!!! Perkins did a great job and, to tell you the truth, the part they repaired looks better than the original work. Thank you Perkins. I have learned my lesson, I will definitely be calling sometime this year just to have a little inspection done to make sure there are no new issues. I called Perkins after getting two other quotes. I go by my instincts and I really liked Tim's professionalism and the time he spent checking my roof and discussing my options. Ivan Victoria: I had a very satisfactory experience with A&E Brothers Roofing. I found them on a sign on the street and had no reference on them so I wasn't expecting much. However since the moment their salesperson Bruce arrived, I noticed they were a serious business. Their price was somewhere in the middle of the range. Bruce explained all the details of the estimate and all the options for the roof to be installed. He was very clear and upfront on the ups and downs of different options. When we finally signed the contract (no money upfront), the work started very quickly. It took no longer than 7 working days. The whole process lasted less than two weeks, counting Sundays and other waiting days. The crew is very detailed oriented. They would show up at 7 in the morning and work till 4-5 pm. They would clean after every work day. They are very courteous and willing to pay attention to any concern I would voice. Dependability is a key virtue in a contractor to whom you are paying many thousands of dollars. A&E Brothers is a dependable company. Response: It is unfortunate that customers turn to bad reviews when things don't go their way. You had a 5 year warranty, that is what was paid for and through a contractor that is not A1. We were the sub contractor on the job, this is why the file is not kept after warranty, because your true file and paperwork is with the Contractor you hired. Also you as the customer are given a close out packet with all your warranty paperwork and paid invoices, as well as releases of liens, which you too should have kept and were unable to produce. The prior appointments were canceled due to rain because we were sending out our repair team. Since you called everyday complaining about the rescheduling, the owner himself offered to go since he was close by on another job site and he was familiar with the job. You were explained that your warranty was expired and that we charge a $350 assessment fee, which you did not pay nor did Geo charge you. Why not mention that??? The fact that he arrived and you had nothing nice to say from the get about the company; fully knowing that the world is going through some very difficult times and finding a full staff these days anywhere is almost near impossible did not help the situation or merit him wanting to do your repair job. With all this being said, a company has the right to walk away from a job, just as you have the right to call another roofer, especially if you have nothing nice to say about this one.
