Janice Yeager: The selection of toys curated here is exceptional. Every toy we have either purchased or received as a gift from this store have been our son’s absolute favorites. At least from the perspective of toys from birth to 18 months, we have been extremely impressed by the thoughtfulness of all things stocked -the right size for gripping, the appropriate sounds and textures to keep their interest, and just a good selection of smart and PURPOSEFUL children’s’ toys. We will continue to come back and pay the premium, knowing any item we take off the shelf will be a hit.

Alistair Cooper: The store has double the inventory it can reasonably store. Aisles are cluttered with unstable piles of boxes. Customers having to back up and lean against shelves to allow others to pass. I bought 7 little stocking-fillers expecting the total to be around $50-60. It was $136. I’m all for capitalism and supporting independent stores but gouging customers $6 for an eraser or $6 for a tiny rubber egg that cost <10c per unit to make is just a middle finger to customers. This store is like a parody of all the reasons small retail businesses are closing. The owner will deserve Darwin’s wrath when it comes for this business.
Scott Henderson: We visited this toy store for the first time, and I have to agree it’s quite an experience. It is so jam packed that it can be difficult to see anything, but the owner is helpful. This is a great store to find a special gift, but items are seriously overpriced. I was charged more than double for the same toy asTarget’s price and twenty dollars more than Nordstrom’s price. I want to support local businesses, but wow!

My husband went in for the first time today and said I felt like a little kid again walking in. The owner is unbelievably kind and genuine. We bought a Electric baby pink Vespa for our 3yr who accidentally broke it the same day. The owner fixed it the very next day no charge. Our heart as a family is so happy knowing this store exist and look forward to buying many more toys for years to come.

Subaru_ManFL: Best place for all RC needs. I drive from Sebring FL to visit my parents, and I when I am here I drive to get what I need from them. They have batteries and the little things I use on my RC Planes, but they also have full RC model car they are there to serve the needs of the RC Community. Support local small business like this one. They are the ones who give back more to your community than politicians do.
FlickHouseStudios Navas: The guy that was there was not helpful at all. Came in for repairs and told me that my plane was pretty much useless. He was rude. Not helpful. Didn’t offer any solutions. I would never come here again. Next time actually try to be helpful.

Emerio Diaz: I placed a post commenting on this Hobby Shop, House of Power, and I was wrong. there could be a ton of reasons for my dissatisfaction at the time, as well as a ton of reasons on the part of the owner. Every single one of us has had a share of problems at one time or other. I visited the place recently at their new location close to FIU, and I quickly realized that the place is well stocked [despite our present situation with Covid-19], the salesman behind the counter is very knowledgable and helpful and will sterr you in the right direction. I recently bought two rc cars for my grandkids and I am very satisfied with my purchase. Also, one of the specialties of this hobby shop is airplanes, and here there is no better place than this, not to mention that the owner knows his stuff when it comes to planes. Besides all that, for hobbyists that we are, I feel that we have to support our local hobby shops because online purchases are ok, but there is nothing like being there in person, be able to talk to a person behind the counter that will not only help you with your purchase, but will also be there for any problems we may have. I recommend this place, and I hope that it will be there for many years to come.

Gerardo Ocando: House of Power caters to the local hobbyist. The store is located right across Markham park which makes it really convenient to all the regulars. Vern, Rob and Matt are friendly and helpful and they have many years of experience in the RC world. Every occasion that I have visited I get a few tips on how to improve my planes from the friendly staff. They go out of their way to make you feel that you are appreciated as a customer. I know I will continue to shop in House of Power for my hobby needs.
Tom Tate: They had the rc airplane parts I needed today. The online competition was going to backorder. What I needed was a new prop and battery. Thanks for being there for us. Love the new place and the new counter guy was very helpful.
Stephany Cuellar: Lots of parts for motorized air plane models! They also have drone accessories! Shop is a little tight but great for hobbiests. No Japanese models, or trains that I saw.
Jose Rivas: HOUSE OF POWER HOBBIES by far the best service from start to finish. Not only do they sell the product they stand behind it. They help you in the build process. Then go above abd beyond and assist you in the field of flight until you are comfortable. Glori is great at getting you what you need and Franco not only does he sell you the product but also sets it up. Very happy with my overall experience and highly recommend.

Alexi Poston: I don’t even know where to start. There were things I purchased on the site that were not even in stock and there was no disclaimer saying they were not in stock. After weeks I finally emailed them and they said that they didn’t even have the items stock still and sorry for the zero communication. The rest of my order had said it was shipped, but did not actually ship for another week. Then another week goes by and they still have to emailed me and I still haven’t received the rest of my stuff. I email them again and they STILL haven’t received it. This is about 3 weeks now. And they did not let me know again. I received attitude when I continued to contact them about my missing orders. HORRIBLE communication and customer service. I will never shop here again. Such a disappointment. Edit to add: the owner is trying to act like I was upset about an item that I knew was preorder not shipping fast enough. This is incorrect as I’ve tried explaining to her multiple times. There were multiple items displayed for sale on the site that I purchased and she failed to tell me she did not actually have the items until I emailed her. They were no listed as preorder on the site. Not only myself, but my husband were disappointed in the way I was spoken to in the emails. And I was not offerered the items I had had weeks long issues with, until I brought it up myself. They felt as if they were always right and did not even try to understand what I was saying. I do not appreciate the company trying to cover up the issues with my experience with a false response. After they persistently were emailed me telling me to take down my review, now they are trying to falsify my statement.

We are a very small business and we work very hard to provide great and caring customer service and it makes me sad to see your review. Your order was placed on Nov 2nd and it included one preorder item. I think the perception of us taking a long time to ship came from the fact that by default all items in an order including a preorder item(s) ship once all items are available. We received the preorder item on Nov 10th and packed your order that same day. The 11th was a holiday so USPS picked it up on the 12th. According to the tracking, you received the order on November 16th, which seems to be pretty good shipping from Miami to Hawaii for USPS ground. When we were packing your order on the 10th we realized there had been a mistake in our inventory and 2 small items in your order were out of stock. We were waiting on updates from our suppliers for shipping so we couldn’t give you an update right away. We didn’t want to hold your order for those two items and we wanted to ship it quickly so it could arrive before Christmas so the order was shipped. I offered a refund on two occasions when you reached out to us as the items seemed like they were going to take too long. You said you didn’t want a refund and preferred to wait for the items but were unhappy with the time it was taking so we processed the refund for them. It makes me sad to read that you think we had a horrible communication with you and gave you attitude. I went back to our emails and they all were cordial and I replied very quickly to all of them with the updates I had at the moment. We didn’t feel good about your experience and once we received the backordered items, we shipped them at no cost for either the merchandise or the shipping. We were happy to see that you received them before Christmas as the initial intention was:) Thank you again for your feedback and we hope your little one enjoyed the beautiful gifts you got for him. Jesse Stortini: I went to the lego store yesterday to inquire about getting an R2-D2 limited edition Lego set. They were out, sadly, so instead, I purchased a Viper Probe Droid instead. At checkout, the employee said that they would be getting another shipment today, and to call throughout the day to see if it becomes available. I called today, and they had one R2-D2 left. I purchased over the phone, and picked it up, secure that I would receive my purchase. I picked it up later, and the employees (all dressed as some form of Star Wars characters) grabbed my bag from the back, and I was out of there in 3 minutes. Best service ever, and people who truly want their customers to enjoy their purchases. I know where to buy my Legos from now on.

Daniela RI: I grew up going to this bookstore and spending hours there, and yes I bought books. Recently came in for the first time in a while and was reading a bit. I was told by a polite employee that it is not allowed to sit on the floor except in cafe. Then I noticed they removed all the chairs including by the magazines. I get you want people to pay for the books, but that is just an awful way to treat customers. In a time where I can buy pretty much any book for two thirds of the list price online, I come to bookstores to peruse and help me choose. What are you really gaining from such a short sighted policy? What are you losing? You keep away young readers who maybe can’t afford every book and just want to hang and read, and who will grow to be educated adults who later buy books. Last time I’m stepping foot in that place. I feel terrible for the employees that have to enforce this policy.
PharticusMaximus: This is the best book store left. They have a huge Selection of books of every genre. You can sit and read books while you shop. The have a ton of mangas, loads of collectibles, funko pops, card game packs, board games, a big kids area full of books and fun. They also have one of the best magazine racks in town too. If you like books, cards games, and board games, you must visit this awesome bookstore.
Sergio Delfanti: Huge display of books and travel guides. From cooking to philosophy, from science to fiction for kids and for adults , some are real bagains. I always come out with some books or magazines in a B&N bag. But if you are a tourist (like me) take in account weight and volume in your travel luggage ! But enjoying a reading stop at the cafeteria is a plus.

I wanted 2 sizes, a big one for me and a smaller for my daughter as we collect mommy and me items. They did not allow it, apparently she is not a customer? This is a toy store, children are in fact their customers or they wouldn’t even be in business. Everything I buy there is for her. The one time I wanted something for myself as well they said no. They lost 2 customers now and I won’t recommend their store to anyone. I wanted to add that my daughter lit up when I handed her the item but the owner who I was talking to didn’t even bat and eye. It was heartbreaking that she isn’t considered a customer in their eyes. My daughter is not an infant. She is 3 years old and she loves Squishmallows and has a collection of her own, plus grandma gave her $20 for her birthday. Also I asked the person I was talking to if she was the owner (or maybe I said manager) and she said yes, I even acknowledged a conversation I had over the phone about tonies with the owner and she didn’t clarify.
Response: We understand that you were disappointed but your review disappointed us as well. You did not interact with the owner, by the way, as I am the owner responding to your review. Rare Squishmallows are hard to get and we, as a small neighborhood toy store, don't get nearly the amount that we would like to keep all of our customers happy. We have to try to be fair and equitable when we do get them, which is why we only allow one per customer per day, so that we can make other children happy as well, while supplies last. Your infant daughter is not a paying customer. We understand that you wanted one of the stuffed animals too, but we have to instruct our hard working staff to adhere to our policies to avoid people taking advantage. Again, we understand your disappointment, but we are disappointed that you found our attempt to be fair and equitable deserving of a one star review.
Robertson Adams: Learning Express is a priceless trove of gifts for anyone who is into exploring the world and learning through doing. Anything from a Science fair project to a party plan could begin in this shop. Nice staff. Somewhat severe return policies though.

Marisol G: Two squeeze toys damaged within a week. The first one broke the same day but we were already home and the 2nd one right after we left the store with it. The smoosh mega ball which is supposed to be a stretchy slime with a surprise is a sandy mess with a squeeze toy that was already torn. The clerk exchanged one of the toys but she said she could only take one toy back and was not responsible for any other damaged toys. Then who is? This store is expensive, I am very disappointed
maisie wong: Wonderful place to shop for any kid. The best part is that they wrap the gift for you free of charge!! Social distancing practice as only 5 customers are allowed in at any given time. Only drawback is the prices are a bit higher than what one can get on Amazon.
PJ Rodriguez: This store is a gem in the neighborhood. My 4 year old loves it and we go every week. The manager, Jessica, is outstanding and so helpful. Always a warm smile and willing to demonstrate the toys. She has great tips for age appropriate gift ideas as well.

M. J: Been to this Target and the one down south towards Dadeland. Never once had a issue. They have amazing items. I felt like more so the clothes have found me rather I finding them. Will surely be my go to stores for simple things. Even the items near the front of the store that is like $10 or below are impeccable. Have parking spots, affordable and is next to good shops. Miami design district is just 6 minutes walking and wynwood is 8 minutes walking. Definitely midtown is one of the best locations in Miami.
Corie Rose Marketing: Not all Targets are the same. Glad I saw this one. A lot of snacks and food stuff. Their selection of t-shirts was fire this time, Rick and morty, metallica. They even had Lime scooters.

Kelly Kelly: Imagine an amazing two floors library with lots of variety for everyone. The first thing you see once you enter are the stairs and all the alleys calling you to explore them. I came to look for something but I found more than I expected, even more suggestions of books I’ll definitely like to read in the future. What a great cozy place to learn, imagine, discover!!! If I could I’d go everyday!, I highly recommend it. This is the biggest Barnes and Nobles I’ve seen so far in Miami.
minerva aponte_jolly: Barnes and Nobles has always been magical to me and though the stuffy chairs are removed and it has become less of a hanging out place, one can still find a million magical and informative books. The staff is polite and helps you find and/or order books. Prices are reasonable on just-out books with many inexpensive soft cover editions of traditional best sellers . It is also filled with marvelous gifts for either goofy or nerd, friend- or anyone in-between. And the cafeteria in there does not harass you when you sit around forever doing homework or just reading.
Ned Djokic: One of the last of a dying breed of bookstores…this is a well stocked, nicely laid out bookstore that is located in the heart of Kendall. Starbucks and nice seating areas located inside as well.

I brought my 4 yr old son here to read some books and brought my laptop to work and sat in the childrens book side on a table ans manager came while I was on a call with a patient. (I’m a nurse) and she was rude she knew I was on a call ans continued to talk over my call. She could have waited. She was a short wavy blonde hair girl. She told me to sit in the cafe area where it was more comfortable. But I sat in the kids section because I was with my kids. She asked if I moved the table I said no. There was another mother sitting at the same table ans told her because of “covid” we couldn’t sit together. Clearly there are no signs nor a sign at the front door of social distancing. Manager was very rude. Had no etiquette no respect. On top of that kids section was a mess and stuff on the floor. Not clean at all. If they are so worries about covid then I think they should start sanitizing the kids table ans floors. An area where kids play around sit on the floor etc.
Jessica Holcomb: I’ve visited this location twice and both times while being checked out, the cashier would ask if I have a rewards card. I would reply no, no one would offer or explain the program. Not sure if they just expect me to know what the program is but if they make assumptions.
Sophia Perez: I have never been more disrespected by anyone in my life besides my mom than when I went into the Barnes n noble on 88th st. The manager a young lady with black hair is extremely disrespectful and spiteful and the head manager is also extremely helpless I made a complaint about her and he wasn’t even listening. If I had a customer complain about being disrespected by an employee They would’ve been gone no questions asked but obv no one cares about customer service anymore

Whoami 0070: Great location as a tourist. It is a mini Target but has items you may have forgotten or need to get some Miami take homes. There is a CVS in the store. You do have to park in the parking garage and pay the fee unless you can find street parking which is difficult. There is also a Starbucks in the store.
Daniel Villa, AIA: This is basically a much nicer version of a CVS or Walgreens with a better selection. It’s a mini-Target, so they don’t have as much as a big target, but they have a good basic clothing selection and the home supply stuff is very good. And, for the tourists- they have a big selection of travel / trial size stuff. See my pic.
Cynthia Perez: I left a bag of items I bought at self checkout. Happened to me before several times (never at this target). All I have to do is call guest services and they always know immediately which bag I’m talking about, and set it aside for me to pick up later. I have called every single department at this specific target for the past 40 minutes trying to get through to someone, ANYONE who works in the store. I love target and switch between my local stores often (they all carry different items). But I’ve never NOT been able to get through to someone. I called over 7 times!!!! I know it’s a smaller target but this is crazy unacceptable compared to the service I get at super centers. This was extremely disappointing UPDATE: had to drive to the store, bag wasn’t able to be found because an employee definitely put everything back. HOWEVER the manager and guest services was extremely nice to me and helped me get everything back. Thank you so much!!!!!
Doris Galindo: Pairing was increased to $5 and it seems they did away with free first hour. This is an abuse in inflation. Why? Because while cost has gone up, it is unlikely their lease went up. Business sign 10 year leases. Or if they own the building their business loan payment is the same. Mortgages don’t go up with inflation They are not any attendant more because their is none. Anyways, disappointed they increased parking while their cost for parking has not gone up. Just another business that takes advantage of inflation to increase prices. And anyways, I’m going their to shop never liked paying for parking. At least I should be happy, because I stopped going and it helps my bottom line.
Emily Isaacson: This Target has a pretty decent selection, definitely beach heavy but we were able to find almost everything we needed. The grocery section was bare bones, but did not have a wide selection of produce. There were very few employees working, so it took us a while to finish checking out.
Charles Ortiz: Parking at Target now costs $5 for half an hour. Theres no sign of the new added charges either. Capitalism strikes again. Not worth coming here unless you want to pay an entrance fee. Take your business to a different store.

Kim Petra: I normally don’t write reviews because most of the places I’ve been to are nice or pleasant, but one particular encounter at this shop left a bad taste in my mouth. The shop itself is nice. Nice atmosphere, it smells really nice, has a lot of merchandise to look at, and overall looks nice. I came in to browse and had asked some staff about the merchandise. Most of them were really helpful and nice. I spoke with a male employee who was very knowledgable on the merchandise/artwork and was very attentive. Actually, both of the male associates that helped me were very nice. I ended up just buying a water bottle since I came in with the intentions of browsing. Once I got to the register, I was not even greeted by the older lady that was sitting there. She asked me questions with an attitude when asking if I needed a receipt and bag. While ringing up my water bottle, she took a long time because she kept getting distracted and doing other things while ringing up my single water bottle. Once I was ready to pay in cash, she left me hanging because she turned her back on me to do something else. I had to try to get her attention but then she ended up turning around. Even when she saw that my arm was hanging with the cash in my hand, she didn’t even apologize. Her attitude did not match the other staff whatsoever and honestly left a bad taste in my mouth. She made a simple transaction just simply unenjoyable and I am sure I’m not the only one who has experienced this by this employee. I was expecting all of the staff to be friendly and welcoming but she was definitely not welcoming at all. I hope the shop reconsiders who they hire because they have great potential at creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for all of the guests. It is basic customer service and she lacked it.
Jim Ward: the shop was clean and nice. no information displayed about the various tours except a sign outside said mon-fri. representative was efficient but not terribly friendly/welcoming. it was ok. the walls around the store in the neighborhood were awesome.

Chakravarthy Garlapati: Painting is very nice and makes sure to visit the nearby places also because you can see a lot of other graffiti arts. I have seen some tremendous artwork at nearby shops and some houses near this place. Keep a little more time for this to visit as you can find a lot of details in each art. Many of the arts are very creative with a lot of details in the colors and colors are very vibrant too. Never miss this place if you visit Miami. You can visit the place with your family definitely carry a good camera during your visit.
Jossely Rodriguez: Beautiful and eclectic place though only the shop is open so you miss out a lot.
Kylee Brock: Small gift shop at Wynwood Walls consisting mostly of coffee table books, presumably from the artists featured on the walls. There were also some gradient puzzles and tchotchkes.
