Jessica Bostwick LLC: I am an adult beginner and although I went to horse camp as a child I was basically starting from scratch when it came to learning to ride. I found MM Equestrian farms because I live near south beach and wanted a close place to try riding lessons without having to go all the way down south, too far west, or north towards Fort Lauderdale and beyond. I have lived in Miami since 2002 and had no idea MM Equestrian even existed. It truly is a magical oasis located in North Miami off of Biscayne and 135th street. They have a petting zoo and do pony rides on the weekends but what I love most about MM equestrian farm are the riding lessons. I have taken lessons with both Angelina and Melissa. Melissa is the owner. Angelina is my main teacher and she is wonderful. She is teaching me the basics of horsemanship, how to “tack up” ( getting the horse prepared for riding, putting on the saddle and bridle), teaching me two-point, posting trot and we have made a goal plan with lesson schedule to get me to my ultimate goal of eventing. The only downside of MM Equestrian is that the only riding allowed there is in the outdoor arena, therefore if it rains, the arena floods and we have to cancel the lesson. I highly recommend MM equestrian if you are looking for a local riding school, knowledge instruction from Melissa and an all around magical experience.

tyler lillemo: $10 pony rides $20 horse rides. 4 or five laps around an outdoor pasture. There is a weight limit on the ponies. The leading around the pasture was done by teen girls. My kids had a lot of fun here.

Kenny Jay: Giving them a three only because I feel the price is to high for what they have. The pony ride is not in a big area and I feel $15 to go around in 5 circles is way to costly. And $10 for a petting farm where they only have about 5 animals doesn't seem fair to me. However, where the horses are is a bigger area which I haven't experienced and that's why I didn't give a lower rating. Be careful if you do the pony ride and they allow "Princess" one of the horses there. She's not friendly. She pushed one of the employees and my niece was on top of her and almost fell.

Emily Canner: What can I say to express how I truly feel about this place? Sport Horse Stables has been a sanctuary for me for the past five years. It is a place that I can always turn to. My trainer, Lauren, has been my favorite teacher in my eleven years of riding. She is easy to contact and get lessons with and in each lesson, I learn something new. Furthermore, the horses are spectacular and have something to give that’s more than just experience in the saddle. They also teach love and compassion for the animal. I would recommend coming here if a beginner that has no experience with horses to expert level. 11/10 would recommend.

Duke Porter: I've gone riding at Sport Horse Stables only a handful of times, but every time I go the staff are excellent, scheduling is always a breeze, and the head trainer Lauren is amazing. In just a few lessons, I learned so much, she conveys the information to the clients learning style and really gets you to understand everything that goes into being a good equestrian. The horses are also all amazing, I had the pleasure of riding a couple different horses and was never disappointed. 10/10 would recommend.

Gwendolyn Clauss: Elysian is a phenomenal facility in the Miami area. The trainers specialize in everything across the board.. from complete beginners with kids summer and weekend camps.. all the way up to the big jumper/hunter classes with students competing at WEF and Tryon. The atmosphere is familial, the trainers are extremely knowledgeable and the facility is just absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend!

JJ Lindsey: Picking a riding facility can be an overwhelming task. We selected this facility based on the initial reviews. My daughters horse was saddled up and ready to go for her 1 hour lesson. At no point during the process were we told that she would just be walked into the field to ride the horse independently. She was provided with a very young volunteer who had no little to no experience with horses on his first day. We were told that the horse she was given was a mild mannered horse who never runs. That was not the case with this horse today who simply started trotting at a fast pace. Please make sure you request a trainer for your session if you are an inexperienced rider.

Emily the Griffin: The place is beautiful, the horses are really friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect. The only thing I didn't like about this place is the organization. When I went there, there was nobody at the office despite the place being open. We went there just to go on a trail ride, but one of the trainers said they were using most of the horses for lessons that they were giving. They shouldn't prioritize just the kids taking lessons, they should try giving service to everyone.

Lina Mello: The owner agreed to mail me a refund my pre paid lessons that the owner Hector never honored and it’s been over a month that he agreed to mail me the money and never did! The former owners where very reputable I keep my granddaughter there for over a year with weekly lessons, the company was respectable with professional people but once the school changed hands it’s horrible! I would pay a package of $800 and was owed $350 for classes that the new owner never honored and only gave me the run around!!! I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED!!!!!

FF FF: My 13 year old is on her 3rd month of riding lessons with this wonderful group and we are both thrilled. During these difficult pandemic times there is nothing more therapeutic than being at their beautiful outdoor facilities, the connection with the amazing beasts that their horses are, and the super fun riding lessons. I like that she's had her same trainer (Yuni) since day 1 with whom she has great chemistry. Having one designated trainer is great because they build a rapport, and the trainer becomes very familiar with her strength and weaknesses. Very encouraging. The entire staff is friendly and professional. We highly recommend this business. Try them for a class and find out yourself.

Jessica: BEWARE: DISHONEST BUSINESS!! On Tuesday, February 8th, I googled this equestrian center to host my daughter’s birthday event for April 3rd. I called the number on their website and the business asked to text an event coordinator via WhatsApp (that should've been a red flag). The person who took my information, gave me the various options available and asked for a $500 deposit via zelle, Venmo or CashApp (another red flag) in order to hold the date for April 3rd 2022. Prior to the transaction , I didn’t receive terms and conditions nor was I informed about any monies being non refundable prior to the deposit transaction . I submitted the transaction via zelle on the evening of Wednesday February 9th and less than 48 hour I asked for a refund because I had an unexpected expense occur. During this period there was no contract drafted and sent to me. On Friday, February 11th they received approval from the owner, Lina to refund me the money and asked that I give them 24 hours. I reached out to them after 24 hours and they asked to wait until Monday, February 14th . I waited a week to get back to them again and now Lina has refused to honor their word and refund me the deposited money, instead they want me to take a credit. Lina, how do you confirm a refund in writing and then lie about it and deceit the customer? Doesn't your word stand behind what you pretend to represent as a company? I am sharing my conversation so you can see for yourself how unprofessional and dishonest they are. You never even called me to tell me that you were not planning on refunding me my money, instead you screened my calls. STAY AWAY from doing any business with them...i have also read in their reviews similar encounters to mine. It seems like they don't care about their reputation they just care about stealing your money.

Sthepany Preciado: They don't even deserve a star. On October 15, I reserved the place for an event on December 4. I wanted to celebrate my birthday there. I made the payment of the deposit that they requested to reserve the place. They sent me the contract for me to sign, and I signed it back to them. Apparently, everything had been ready. On Wednesday, November 3, I contacted the person in charge to ask some questions, and they did not answer me. When Mrs. Yulieth called me back, she was very rude and told me that they could no longer rent me the room for my event. I asked her for an explanation, and she told me that they had the right to rent their place as they wanted. Without understanding anything, I asked him for many reasons, and I didn't get any. She told me that later the owner of the place would call me to explain what had happened. After a few hours, a man contacted me who told me that he was the owner and simply told me that he was very sorry but that I couldn't rent the place for my event that specific day. He told me that he had made a contract for a bigger event and that there was nothing to do with mine. He told me the only solution was to change my date. I explained that I had 100 guests and many relatives who will travel from Colombia who had already bought tickets; additionally, I had already made advance payments for food, decoration, sound, DJ, and many other things. Money deposits that I had to lose. These people are not serious, and they are not professionals. At this moment, I have tried to find a place for my event, and since we are less than a month away, it has been impossible. It has been very sad for me, and the true is that I feel that this should not be done to any person. They believed that it was just something for money, but money at this time was not the solution. I need to Find a place. I will attach the contract for all of you to see the truth, and I will attach the picture of the big event they will have on that date. I also attached the picture of the conversation I had with Yulieth about the rent and other things. Just for you all see that this people are not serious. Stay away from them if you want to rent the place for something.

Alessia Herrera: On July 17th, I booked 2 horse back riding lessons as a birthday surprise for August 15th with Natasha. She was extremely informative and accommodating. She was so inviting that I paid in full via Zelle instead of just the deposit she said I could make. On August 14th, I reached out to Bonanza confirming the lesson and I did not receive a response back. I contacted them the next morning to confirm again and I was informed that the ranch was closed due to the tropical storm. I was upset and disappointed that I had not received any notice whatsoever and that I had booked this almost a month in advance. I understood the tropical storm warning but the lack of reaching out to me and the individual who picked up the call having the audacity to ask why I didn't contact them when I did, frustrated me more. I told her I Zelled them in full and wanted a refund, she said she was off and I would get my refund on Tuesday. I got so busy that week that it slipped my mind and on Friday morning, I realized that I had not received my refund nor any call from Bonanza. I requested the refund via Zelle from the individual it was originally sent to and I contacted the office again and was told that they were trying to contact the individual who would refund me and that I would receive it today. I had reached out to Natasha that morning as well and in the afternoon she did ask if I wanted to reschedule but I politely declined and requested the refund again. I provided her my Zelle information and waited. Saturday morning came and I still had not received my refund nor any call from the office. I contacted the office again and they said the person who is supposed to refund me is not in and that I would have to come in person to pick up the refund in cash. At this point I am outraged. Apart from the lack of communication and inability to provide me the services I requested, they added inconveniencing me. I had been asking for a refund since technically Sunday and it was now Saturday. I just wanted them to pay me back the same way I paid them. Zelle can be done anywhere , anytime yet I was given mutiple excuses. The lady said she would try to get them to Zelle me and I also requested the Zelle again on my side just in case. It was almost the end of the day and I had yet to receive a call or Zelle notification. I contacted the office again and they did not respond. I called them via WhatsApp and nothing. I called repeatedly was being ignored. When I was 6 minutes away from the ranch, I received a Zelle notification for the refund and a message from Natasha apologizing for any inconveniences. I thanked her and let her know that I kept calling the office to let them know I was on the way but I was being ignored. I am grateful for finally receiving my refund but am disgusted at the individual who allowed this inconvenience to go on as long as it did.

Very impressed by the cleanliness and maintenance of the grounds, stalls, and very well laid out with a small arena to practice, I look forward to going there to work off my extra 20+ lbs gained from the lockdown!!....best of all, I was given a mango!...thanks, Manuel Antonio Torres

Alex Legacy: My children and I were driving in the area and came across Bonanza Equestrian and absolutely felt like it was God sent. Lina and her husband (the owners) were extremely hospitable and even gave us a personal tour of the venue. She also allowed my children to have a demo with their horse Chavela and a private trainer Alvaro who definitely was very knowledgeable and patient. We hope to become part of the family soon and spend time at the farm. Thank you!

Kaylan Domond: I HIGHLY recommended MIRC. My daughter started lessons in March of 2021 as a complete beginner; with no experience whatsoever. After she started, she loved the lessons so much. She was extremely motivated and determined to go to shows. With the amazing training from Coach Rebecca, Coach Dani, and Coach Celia, they built up her confidence and she went to her first show in Jan 2022. This barn is a family to the girls. The coachers are immensely knowledgeable about horses and the sport.

V “Vmartinez” Martinez: Great place for those who are interested on learning how to ride for pleasure or to take it to a most Competitive level. The instructors are excellent very patient, they will work with you and teach you everything you need to know about riding. Owners Celia and Danny are very Accessible, and will work with you to set up your lessons depending on your schedule, they are also excellent teachers. Love this place great atmosphere.

Cristina Espinoza-Alguera: I bought a Groupon for 4 lessons for my daughter. The staff was very helpful and responsive when I called and texted to schedule the first lesson and thereafter as had to make schedule changes due to rain. Celia and the other trainers have been absolutely wonderful and sooooooo encouraging and helping her gain proper form as she learns to ride with safety. I can see how she is progressing and gaining confidence. My daughter absolutely LOVES this place and learning. She had NEVER ridden before-:) Tomorrow she'll have her 4th Groupon lesson and she will continue with weekly sessions thereafter.

Amalia Valdivie: For the 3 years I have been riding at Miami International Riding Club, I have learned so many things. It has not only given me something to do outside of school, it has also helped me make a a lot of friends, and spend more time outdoors. All of the trainers are fantastic, their facility is beautiful , and their love for all of the horses, including boarded horses, is amazing. I have leased two horses there and they have both taught me more than I ever thought I would learn. If you plan on showing, MIRC goes to plenty shows all year around. The facility is just a great place for kids, or adults to branch out and enjoy something different. 10/10 !!

Elaina Matsko: I started taking lessons at the beginning of 2020. As an adult novice I was hardly given any consideration and felt more judged for my lack of knowledge than anything. It felt that my desire for a hobby was not enough for them to take me seriously and treat me with respect. I tried to make it very clear that I was a beginner, but was put on a horse and started jumping on my second lesson despite saying several times I've never been on a horse apart from a trail ride. Instead of being helped and recognizing my skill set, I was ridiculed, chastised and yelled at. The teachers, while incredibly knowledgable, are more often than not angry and rude pouring nothing but frustration and annoyance on the students, and don't seem to have the patience for anyone other than the high schoolers who lease horses. I was made to feel ignorant and wrong for my lack of knowledge, and when I needed to get out of a pre-paid 20-lesson package because of a sudden, unexpected move out of the country, I was flat denied with no effort to work with me. I suggested to Dani, the head coach and owner, that I apply my unused $750 to my friend's next monthly lease, but was told that wouldn't work because I bought discounted lessons in a package deal. $750 from me or $750 from my friend shouldn't make a difference, her teachers aren't going to be working double, there were no scheduled lessons that the teachers are missing out on, she loses $0 on this deal. Her refusal to work with me on this only tells me their bottom line is the money and they don't care about their customers at all. Scheduling is near impossible if you have an inconsistent schedule because you have to text the teachers about lessons, who frequently forget to follow up before your requested date and time causing the opportunity for a lesson to be missed. But they don't care because they already have your money. The only saving grace is the horses, and the only reason they received 2 stars instead of 1. They are very good at choosing beautiful, skilled horses and seem (from my novice viewpoint) to take good care of them all. My love of horses, and an incredible, temporary teacher, Paulina (whom is solely responsible for getting me comfortable on the back of a horse after taking a very bad spill with the other teachers) are the only reasons I continued at the barn for as long as did.

Ivette Vallejo: Having tried out their Groupon two years ago as a beginner, I started weekly lessons thereafter, and I recently starting leasing. Throughout this time, MIRC has been a source of joy! Trainers are professional and care immensely both for their horses and your progress/safety. Riders of all levels train here, its a welcoming environment. There is no better place in town.

She started as a beginner and has really developed over the years with the professional instruction she’s received. The horses are very well taken care of and happy. The staff truly cares about the kids. The facility is beautiful, clean and has a laid back atmosphere where they always make you feel welcome. The only problem is my daughter never wants to leave!

Paola Concepcion: My daughter first went to Gold Stirrup for Summer Camp. That was 8 or 9 years ago. Then she started with one lesson a week. We are up to 2 lessons a week and she did her first show in March. Amazing. The trainers are professional and great with the students. This equestrian center is not only for kids but for adults too. You will not find more caring trainers in the area. Give it a try. You will feel right at home.

Lina Mello: I was a loyal client of The Miami Equestrian Club which was the former name of the school prior to Covid-19. I kept my granddaughter with weekly riding lessons and due to the lockdown the school closed, during this time the school was sold without notification to the student or family. I had pre-paid lessons for my granddaughter which I originally paid $800 with a balance due of $350. After numerous attempts with the new owner Hector to try to get scheduled for my granddaughter to resume her lesson and ALWAYS having Hector telling me “give me until Monday to call and give you her schedule” but he never did I finally got fed up and demanded a refund on my $350.00. Me Hector took my address and said he would mail me my refund.... After ONE MONTH with no refund I have decided to write a review and will further submit a formal complaint with the FTC The Federal Consumer Protection Agency and the BBB.

Jennifer Luna: I have had many trainers over the years and have never learned more from the team at Gold Stirrup. Not only do I take my lessons seriously but we have some laughs though my lessons as well. I am an adult rider but enjoyed watching the young riders grow over the years with Gold Stirrup. A good group of folks and great horse care. I am a current border however, they have very safe, sound school horses as well. I’m sure your experience will be as positive as mine. :-) Also sorry there is a poor review by an “Alex”. If you do your homework, this is clearly a very negative person as you read his further reviews.

Thammy will guide you exquisitely. They take excellent care of all the horse, owned and boarders, they also only want the best for their horses, ponies at their stable. Malena Iglesias Raggio: 5 stars are not enough for this amazing place! My daughters have been coming for the summer camp which they call it THE BEST CAMP EVER! During the camp they have lessons, learn how to be around horses, to respect them and take care of them. The staff is amazing, they really find time to know each camper and understand their needs. And all you see is people that is enjoying their time. On top of all this, you arrive to a clean place, well taken care. We are definitely coming back for lessons!!!

As a parent I love going and hanging out under the nice trees and watching all the wildlife. This is such an amazing place that when I don't go because of scheduling reasons on my end, I MISS IT!! Michelle is a great trainer, she knows horses well and will take your child and know exactly what to work on, in just one lesson. The horses are happy, well cared for and friendly. The spaces for boarding are very spacious and they have large paddock spaces for daily turn outs. I recommend this facility if your just looking for riding lessons, looking to board, or even if you just want to come and perfect your riding skills.

Derik Washington: Serenity is not just a great place for horseback riding, it's a beautifully maintained, serene place to enjoy the tranquility of the outdoors. Carlos and Michele are very welcoming and Michele is an awesome riding instructor. I highly recommend!!!

Vlad Ponomarenko: Serenity Show Stables is by far the best boarding facility in Miami for your horse. Michele, Carlos, and Jackie care for the horses as though they were their own. My daughter's horse came to Serenity with terrible thrush, Michele went out of her way to make sure it was treated as quickly and efficiently as possible. Besides being a phenomenal trainer, Michele's level of care for the well being of each and every horse is incredible. Stalls are always clean and the horses spend the day in the spacious paddocks. The quality of care at Serenity is unlike any other barn I've seen, and for an affordable price. For anybody looking for somewhere to board their horse, I cannot recommend Serenity enough.

Zandrea Penn: I love this stable so much! Michele is the best riding instructor I have ever hadhabds down!! Not only is she very talented, but she's also a great mentor, and has become a good friend. I've been receiving instruction from her for about a year now and I've made noticeable progress. I was previously riding at another equestrian center and it seemed like they weren't as knowledgeable as Michele is. I feel so comfortable and safe riding here. They take excellent care of thier horses. I highly recommend this equestrian stable!

Estella Lluch: I was here for summer and it is so fun! You should really go to the summer camp here. First you get ready and on the first week they teach what to do with your horse and what not to do, then they explain the body parts and what they are sensitive to. Then you get ready and tack up your horse and go to the arena and they teach a variety of things for example cantering galloping but of course they always start easy then go along with the experience. I totally recommend it.

Maeghan Gale: Michelle and Team are awesome. She helped me get back in the saddle and showing again after a 4 year baby break. Now she is even giving my non horsey husband lessons. Highly recommend for riders of all ages and skills. This is a no drama kind of barn.

Aja Butler-Burns: This place went above and beyond professionalism. The horses were all so beautiful and well trained and you can tell they really love them. Our guide was hilarious and kind and very knowledgeable. We went as a small group for a birthday and their surprised us at the end with a HORSE SHAPED CAKE and roses which was so sweet. Absolutely A-1 experience, more than worth the cost. We will be back soon! Also they give complementary snacks and water. Super nice people.

Jhenique Miller: A&A Adventures is remarkable! Mr. Andre takes care of my family so well. He keeps my 7 year old safe and has helped my husband lessen his anxiety about horses. We have gone on several trails and continue to return. Make sure to book with Mr. Andre, you don't have to look any further!

Eric Sarria: Words can’t express how wonderful my experience was with Andre’s team, trails and horses. From the moment I contacted Andre, I was welcomed like family. My girlfriend was scared of Horses and Andre’s horses were very calm and well trained, no issues at all and she absolutely fell in love with Mia. Every second of our visit was spent with utter bliss and I highly recommend them above any place in Florida. Just from their customer service and how well they treat their horses and others says a lot on how wonderful this business is. I will make sure to come back soon and invite my other loved ones and friends to enjoy this lovely experience.

Our guide was a little harsh with his instructions.(I think he meant well) Maybe because I was a newbie to riding. But being tactful with your words would go a long way. None the less, I would recommend this place.

Joey Mikkelsen: I decided to take my fiancé out horseback riding for our anniversary; and it was an experience we'll never forget. The process to make a reservation was easy; there was great, quick, and professional communication between me and Andrea with the reservation. The trail itself that we went on was beautiful, and the horses are supringsly well behaved. The gentleman leading the group would call them like dogs, and they would listen. Amazing! He had a great attitude and made sure everyone was keeping up and having a good time. They made our anniversary feel very special, thank you so much A&A! 🐴❤️

Laura Lopez: Can't say enough amazing things about A&A! Their horses are beautiful, the trail was shady and adventurous, and Andre and Andrea were so knowledgable, comforting for non-experience riders like myself, and KIND!!! Andrea put out snacks and water for us after our ride, but when my boyfriend had told her that he was booking for my birthday, she made me a birthday cake and gave me flowers. You can tell they love what they do and the people they service. Can't wait to come back!

Fatt Boy: Beautiful park for a picnic. Also for yoga 🧘‍♀️. You can also take beautiful pictures. Lots of animals to see. Ducks, turtles, horses, fishes, Squirrels and mini pony. A pig,goat,baby bull and Roosters.

Flor Diaz: The name says it all. It is like an enchanted forest in the middle of the city. And they have ponies AND a petting zoo. It is small, but so refreshing and clean. Highly recommended. The only caveat is that parking spaces are limited, but it is a great place to just unwind and maybe (just maybe) see the wee fairies... 😘

Jamie Albucher: I adore this park! It’s a tiny clean little park in the middle of everything in north Miami. They keep up with social distancing rules and even have a community garden! The park ranger Lola is incredibly knowledgeable and happy to give tours. I cannot stress how awesome this hidden gem is

Judy Sun: Cool little park in the middle of nowhere. If you blink you will miss it with so much to do. They have horses here and a petting zoo sign. I saw many horses here and a big closed in are where they keep them and ride them. There are 2 picnicking areas that i saw. One bigger then the other one. One is located by the front of tje park . The other one is more private it is by the back side. It is near a kids playground. The playground is closed. The park has really nice walking trails. They are a dream if you like nature and photography. The trees form this beautiful shady canopy. It is truly a nice park. I am so glad i found it. I saw two walking trails. One that leads across a bridge. The trees are different in that side and not so shady. That trail takes you in a complet circle. It is a shorter trail. You can see people's backyards too. I like the other longer one. The park looks clean. They have signs everywhere to wear your mask. I felt comfortable here.

Carlos Garcia: One of the best, most beautiful places in Miami. Very clean, well maintained. I felt secure walking the trails. And the horses? Ah! Beauty of nature!

Rafael Ventura-Rosa: Terrific location for a peaceful visit. Ducks, turtles, horses, chickens, birds...you forget your in a city when you are there. And a Mini library, where you can borrow a book for each one you donate. Now that I am retired, I visit there often. 5 *****
