Beverly Metayer: I had exactly 1 week to travel, and an expired passport. I was in a frenzy, none the less. Google search brought me to The Passport Office and I was extremely happy it did. Not only did every staff member I spoke to help me through each process, they were kind and respectful. They understood my concerns and made sure that I was truly in the loop with every step of the application process, with calls, emails and also their website app. I truly recommend The Passport Office to anyone in need of immediate services. I'm happy I did!

Blandine: For a governmental office, they are quick to provide you with all the paperwork you need but they will not include the price of services. After speaking to three different representatives and reviewing the website. I made sure to ask all the necessary questions before my appointment including the price of services. Once I arrived I was told the service was $163.00 more than what was mentioned over the phone. After driving for four hours I was told “do I want to proceed with services”. I’m assuming this is the norm for governmental offices. Unfortunately, we don’t have many choices when it comes to these types of offices. And they are aware of this and are taking advantage.

All of the staff at the passport office reassured me I'd get my passport before my travel date. I contacted them by phone and messenger nearly every day prior to receiving my passport for updates and they were willing to do so each time. They were very understanding. Marina Borrone: A stressful situation to start with when needing a passport fast. Cindy was incredibly helpful, detailed and available. The post office took hours in SF so go very early to apply. FedEx did not deliver overnight so that was stressful. I would try to be sure to find a way to be to get the passport more timely—maybe by picking up? I was lucky I had a spare day.

For those who are applyingn a new passport please see steps below or call them for verification. Get all Required documents ready (Original Copies) and application forms; Make a copies for the government and agency (excluding the original copies). In total you will have the original copies which will go to the government (you'll get it back) plus another copies for the goverment and agency (1x Original documents plus the application form/s and 2x copies of required documents and another application form/s).Then follow the procedures. Robert “El JEFE” Palma: Honestly very straightforward and easy. Follow the directions and you'll be good. The security and staff are helpful and friendly. Honestly very surprised and happy with my experience. I had appt and still waited about an hour to see clerk. There are about 100 people per day getting Passport. Have to come back at 1pm to pickup Passport.

Vicki Musselman: We planned a trip to leave in 30 days and I realized my passport was expired. Waited till two weeks before and got an appointment the day before our departure. Everything went smooth, got there early and was in line and out early.. I had to go back at 12 to pick up my passport. Security was fabulous. I was a nervous wreck after reading reviews but everything went fine if you have all your documents ready to go.

tom doan: The review is not based on the office or is employee but the process itself. We needed an emergency passport renewal because our flight was four days out. There is no online appointment available at this time. The person that stated that he got an appointment at midnight is lying. I tried to call the phone number provided on their website before 8 am EST and no one answer but a machine stating to call back during business hours. So I called back exactly at 8 am and finally got through. After a 35 minute hold, I finally got to speak with a live person. She immediately advised me that I can not make an appointment unless it is within three days of my trip (good thing it was four days from now). HERE'S THE BAD NEWS. She couldn't find an appointment within that week at the Miami location. She told me the closest appointment was either Puerto Rico, Texas, or Hawaii. Of course this all happened after I waited in line at 630 in the morning. SO DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME TRYING TO GET A WALK UP APPOINTMENT, THEY WON'T LET YOU IN.

Derek R: I have been waiting three weeks out from my flight trying to make an appointment, I called today because today was officially two weeks out from my departure. I was told the only available appointment was the day of my flight. My international flight departs at 2:11 that day. Not admitting defeat, I tried everything to make it work and then I stumbled across a review from "Enrique Caballero". I did exactly what he did, I submitted a privacy release document and called my local representatives main office until I got through. I spoke with a man who was extremely understanding and helpful and within 25 minutes he got me an appointment at the end of this current week. Thank you representative Salazar and your office, I am indebted to you. You guys saved me a lot of money, stress and time. -A very happy constituent

Stephanie Esposito: My local USPS did not notice that my son's application was cut off at the bottom and submitted it. Weeks passed by with no movement on the status other than received, I called in to expedite. The next the day I received a call from the Miami Passport agency to say that the expedite was received and that my son's application was there but that I had to resubmit a new application because the application was cut off at the bottom. I did so the next day with overnight shipping.... fast forward to the Thursday before we had to travel and still no news on the new application that was overnighted. Family of 12 traveling internationally that Monday and my 8 year old sold was the only one still without his passport we were literally 2 business day away from our flight I started to freak out. Came on here to read reviews to see if there was anything I could do because of course calling in 2 weeks prior to my flight there was no in-person appointment in Miami until after our travel date which was not going to work. They tried to say we could go to GA for an appointment also just not an option for us. I came on here to read advice left on the comments I read to contact my local congress woman for my district, definitely just desperate move and taking a long shot because I had never heard of this before and I had no other choices left. Their office answered right away and they were so kind. They emailed me a disclosure that I filled out right away and sent back and they confirmed was received and they were working on it ( it was 3:30pm) and I went to sleep that night not knowing if it was going to work out or not. I know that without my Local Congress woman's help Lois Frankel I would have not gotten my son's passport on time. I did have a nice experience with the staff at the Miami Passport agency. Millie "my angel" at the Miami Passport Agency called me Friday morning at 6:45am to tell me to come in with dad and son as soon as I could and I had until 10am to get there (my drive was 1.5 hours). My prayers were answered that morning and we made it there just in time at 9:45am and by 1:45pm we has my sons passport in my hands! THANK YOU to the office of Lois Frankel and Miami Passport Agency!!!!!!!

This had to be one of my worst experiences at a passport agency. I would recommend this location only to my worst enemy.

Jacobo Polanco: This review is about this office in particular, and the general process to get a passport. Absolutely the worst service ever in anything that has to do with a governmental office of the United States. The process is tedious, not organized, staff is rude, average wait time to process an expedite passport at least for me and 3 other people that I talked to was 6 to 7 hours. From the moment you enter the building, until you finally get a solution, which is the passport. It unbelievable how behind the U.S. is compared to other countries. Average passport processing time in most countries in South America is not greater than 2 WEEKS. SOUTH AMERICA. COME ON. Spain the passport is issued the same day you submit the application. This is just disrespectful.

Victoria Esteves: I want to share my story so we can help others the way other reviews helped us. First of all, do not try to call within 14 days of your appointment. The 14th day does not count within the two week period of your travel. You need to call on the 13th day to get an appointment. When we finally called we only got an appointment for the day of our travel 30 minutes before our flight was scheduled to depart. As it is impossible with Miami traffic to get to the agency and then the airport, we needed to reschedule. I decided I would call every day every hour until I found a cancellation which is what I did for the next few days. Despite my hundreds of calls to the passport agency call center I was unable to find any cancellations. So I went to Google to find reviews on the agency. I thought I could find a solution by standing outside and waiting for an appointment. You cannot do this, I do not recommend they will check for confirmation numbers at the entrance and multiple times throughout your visit to the office. After reading many reviews I came to the conclusion that I needed to reach out to the senator. I went on Marco Rubio‘s website and wrote an email. One review said that they had received a response within two hours, that was not my case. In the meantime, I called the agency still with hopes for a cancellation. After waiting a few hours I decided to call the Senators office. I called multiple times and was sent to a voicemail that was no longer receiving voicemails. I finally got through to a person, she was very kind and helpful. She sent us a privacy act and asked us to fill it out as fast as possible. You need to print out this form and fill it out in writing send it back with your itinerary with your name on it. They will send you an email saying that they will try but do not guarantee any appointments. This was Thursday morning. I continue to call the agency to avoid having to Count on the senator. Finally the weekend came in and I cannot call anymore. On Sunday night around 9:30 PM we received an email saying an appointment had been secured for the following week before our flight! We were so excited and started to prepare ourselves for our trip to the agency. I recommend you arrive early to the agency they will not take walk-ins but the earlier you arrive the earlier they will take your appointment. We showed up at 7 AM for an 830 appointment. It was easy to find parking within the parking garage. Once you get to the front door of the agency you will be greeted by two security guards he will ask you for your confirmation number. As soon as you walk in remember you need a mask if not you’ll have to buy one from the passport photo lady. If you didn’t bring a photo or if you don’t think that your photo will be received you can take a photo at the agency. It is $20 a photo and five dollars a mask. Finally, we were able to go up to the fourth floor for our appointment. They will check you again for your confirmation number then you will be put in line to be checked by security you can go inside with your family or partner. One person can only make the line and when they are called up you can join them. Every person we spoke to was kind and helpful. The lady who first took my boyfriend‘s information was very sweet and we had a good conversation. They will take in all of your documents and send you over to another person who will process your passport. The second person is the person who you will make payment with it will be $225. They will tell you to come back at 12 but they do not guarantee you getting a passport. They will give passports out between 12 and 2 PM not afterwards. Our experience overall was very surprising, everyone was nice to us and helped us out. Overall, I recommend that if you cannot find inappropriate appointment for your flight do not freak out. Try to contact a government agency that will help you.

Joseph G: This place revamps your faith in government agencies. They are ALL helpful the security guards to all of the window tenants. As long as you have everything you need (which I’m astonished people show up here empty handed) it’s smooth sailing. My wife and son were done in 1 hour. Thank you guys for everything this was a great experience.

Ronda-Grace Dorval, M.B.A. Business and RE Analyst: Slow. Slow. Slow. I do not see the need of being on time for the appointment if it takes you an hour to 'check-in'. They have 27 operating windows that are fully manned. There is no reason for this slow pace. You will be here until 3:30pm easily, regardless of your appt time. The agency employees are very pleasant. The Security men and women are helpful and pleasant as well. You are seen as long as you have your papers in order. DO NOT forget your TRAVEL CONFIRMATION documents. You will not be seen without IT. THEY NEED TO BE PRINTED OUT. They do take all forms of payment. Check, money orders, credit cards, cash (exact amount only) Please remember to bring a mask. It is required. You wouldn't want to be caught here without one. Trust me. There's no sense of social distancing. People have no sense of personal space. It's noisy as hell in there , with kids running around untrained, and undisciplined by their parents. They need to open up one in Orlando. This location not central to ANYTHING!!

Gabriel Gareis: Very Rude!!! I was trying to find my lost Citizenship; the person that took my call was speaking very low, I couldn't get a name. When I mentioned I processed my passport renewal through USPS he said "we're FedEx" and hang up. At least he saved my trip to that office.

Terri Stock: Passport Center simplified the whole passport renewal process starting with some questions online followed by some documents to be completed and printed sent by email, a phone call and instructions that made it very personable and easy process. In a world where often times the online environment is sterile and feels less than person to person relationship oriented, Passport Center renewed my belief that working with online systems does not need to make us feel like a number. Adam Wampler: I signed up to receive a passport renewal in 8-10 business days and paid a non-refundable $149 plus shipping. I failed to understand that you must ship via FedEx on the exact day you're assigned. I had trouble obtaining the required docs and shipped one day late. I received an email that my packet had been received and my docs were being reviewed. Six business days later, I contacted my account manager (Christian Rodriguez)and he said that my passport would be released and ship in 1-2 more days. I then waited another week and received nothing so I called back and Christian then looked up my account and said that since I mailed my packet one day late, that my application had been canceled. He then said he'd have to send it back to me and I l'd have to have it resealed at my local courthouse and send back with another $150. I was never notified that I'd missed my ship date or that my order had been cancelled and worst of all he lied to me and told me the processing was almost complete and it should "release on Tues or Wed". I had 4 weeks to get a passport and wasted over 2 weeks with this dishonest company. Because of their mistakes, they offered a discount if I re-sent my packet to them but there was no way I was going to trust them again. I ended up driving to Washington DC and applying for expedited service in person in order to make my trip. After my ordeal, I call and asked for a management call back and was told I would be called by a manager. That call never came. This company can't be trusted. The lesson I learned is to never trust a company with a no refund policy

Terri González: I can honestly say Marvin is fantastic. At first I was skeptical because I was going to an office in the gables, instead of a passport agency. I recommend everyone who needs a passport expedited to use Marvin’s services. I made an appointment on 2/22 and today 3/7 exactly 12 days ago I received it fedex He even provided pictures. The pictures I had taken at a local cvs were not acceptable. I did needed to pay a pricy fee due to the urgency I had. There are different fees depending on your urgency. However, I had sent our documentation to PVM via USPS overnight priority express mail for $23.75 and paid $30 to PVM for FedEx return which took 3 business days to get back to us. While we submitted far enough in advance not to require expedited service, just surprised that the USPO can outdo FedEx for less money.

Rick Christophersen: Your claims of excellent customer support are highly exaggerated and do not reflect the actual services you provide. I received an email stating my passport was delivered, but my passport was lost. I was left with no tracking number for my passport delivery, no customer support or chat available to resolve my issue. You claim to have services available 6 days/week. This is simply not true. There is no one available to give support, and when you do get someone, they are not trained to assist, they simply pass you off to a supervisor that is supposed to call you back within 24-48 hours - and they never call. I will not recommend your services to anyone. I had an awful experience with your company. You should all be ashamed of the high prices you charge and the lack of service you provide. I would've been better off doing the forms myself. This service is a joke.
Response: We are sorry to learn that you are disappointed with our service; however, our records show that you purchased the 5 week processing service and received the passport in 4.5 weeks. The passport is mailed back to directly from the passport agency via USPS priority mail & you informed us that your passport was misdelivered to your neighbor but you were able to retrieve it. Unfortunately a refund can not be issued due to a USPS mis-delivery which is beyond our control.

Gabriel Hugoboom: 0 Customer Service. You cannot get anyone on the phone. Multiple numbers, endless robots. I had to pretend i wasn't an existing customer just to get a human on the phone, and STILL waited on hold for over half an hour. I purchased a rushed service, no email confirmations, no status updates. month went by. They're still saying i need to download and mail my form. Now i have to go in person to pay nearly a thousand dollars to a another service to get it within a week.
Response: Our apologies you were not able to get through to us. However, Our records show that we received your documents on 06/06/22 and we shipped them out after our audit. You purchased a 5 week processing service. Currently your documents are in processing with the passport agency.

Dan Wesson: In went to Fedex to get my passport renewed. I did not know they use a third party to process the passport. In this case it was Rush My Passport. They guaranty renewal within 6 to 8 weeks so I went ahead and pay $181. They did not bother letting me know the status of the renewal so I checked with them after 6 weeks and 8 weeks. After 8 weeks, when I checked with them, they told me that it was delayed at the state agency. Thank you for not warning me. I obviously needed my passport back to travel and they were not going to help me so I requested a refund and went on dealing directly with the state agency and paying an extra $60 to get the passport rushed. After 2 weeks of not hearing from Rush my Passport, I call them and they told me that the refund was not a guaranty and that they needed 4 weeks to review the case. I let the public make a judgement for themselves, if they want to use this service or not. Good luck.

Annsha Martial: WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. 1st of all go through the post office and pay the $187 with them to get an expedited passport within 4-6 weeks. This business is a SCAM!!!! and a waste of time. Its been 5 weeks and i have yet to receive my passport and I am suppose to travel in two days. Customer service woman who seemed very annoyed that i wanted to know whats going on was very rude, in he middle of me responding to a question she cut me off on put me on hold for another 20 mins after waiting on hold for 30 mins before being connected. I got 1 email update throughout the entire process. Well now I know the dead can wait but lets see if i can still get my passport before this funeral.

Luis Mercado: I scheduled a cruise vacation with the family and didn’t realize until the 11th hour my kids passports were expired. They helped me put together the documentation, clearly explained the process and I got text messages advising of the status at every point. I received the passports today as promised just in time for our trip. I highly recommend them.

ted lawson: The absolute worst customer service! Called me to say I needed to pay an extra $200 to step up level of service, this was after a month of me sending them everything, and multiple phone calls, had to change my trip and refused to pay them and went with another company to expedite! I strongly suggest you use another company, and good luck calling after they get your money, I had multiple 40 min hold times when I would try and contact them! 617354 Email me and I will tell you the whole story, I just got our expired passport back today and sending in to another company today to get expedited.

Tracie McHugh: We had to travel unexpectedly out of the country and needed a passport within days for our 2 month old. I actually didn't think it was possible, but RushMyPassport completely came to the rescue. It's not cheap, but the rep, James, walked us through the setup over the phone, minutes after signing up and they delivered 100% as promised. We got our passport in just 3 days! I couldn't believe it. Nicely done James and RushMyPassport!

Terry Schrumpf: After realizing my daughters passport expired just 4 days before my departure date I needed emergency help. After speaking with a representative on the phone who assured me he could renew my passport within 2 days I had no choice but to trust he was a man of his word. I took the leap of faith and paid the nominal fee (in relation to canceling my trip). I was nervous of the entire process as I was leaving my trip in the hands of someone I found over the internet. Rush My Passport over-exceeded my expectations providing me with exactly what they promised to deliver. Not only that, they kept in constant contact with me throughout the entire process to let me know they received my documents, sent a notice on the day they were being processed, let me know the process was completed, and finally the delivery tracking information. Thanks to Rush My Passport I was able to take a much needed vacation...

Carlos Mijares: I wasn’t able to get into Indonesia because my passport would expire within 3 months. So I had to fly back from Korea and I went straight to this place after my flight back and was able to get my passport within 3 days on Saturday. Then flew back that Sunday to Bali.

Carlos Barco: Wow ! Amazing service! Everything as promised, the great customer service lady helped me through the entire process, the passport arrived on the day before they said it would, everything was just great, alerts kept me up to date, nothing but good things to say.

Honor Nebiker: Operation locks the door at 2pm website hrs should post. Was directed to the floor should have been advised by photo greeter. Security was rude no option but to mail in renewal unless you have a flight emergency paid to park with no customer service. Tried to let entry security know and they do not take feedback no fault or accountability on site.

M Sutton: Everyone at this office was so friendly and helpful, they made what started out as a nightmare morning turn into a much better evening. I realized late last night that my passport (which I'd been positive was expiring in December of this year) expired 20 days ago. After searching for, and driving to, a passport office in Orlando which advertised same day passports...I was told they could get mine to me by Tuesday. I finally found this Miami office, rescheduled my flight (they can't expedite without ticket confirmation), made the 4 hour drive down (traffic!!!) hoping that I'd make it in time since they close at 3 and was met with a very helpful door attendant and security guards. I was quickly signed in, given paperwork to fill out and called up to turn my paperwork in. The waiting room was packed but all of the employees were pleasant and efficient. Customers were called up to collect their passports quickly and within 40 minutes everyone had their passports, including me. They could easily have told me to come back Monday, since it took me so long to get there, and I would have missed my family reunion. I'm so thankful that the staff was so understanding and accommodating. Good customer service is becoming a rarity, thanks so much to the staff at the Miami Passport Office for turning my day around!

Ricardo Castillo: It seems that we are in an underdeveloped country with so much technology and to deliver your passport it takes more than three months. What a bureaucracy.

Emily Ponce de Leon: I spoke with an older man on the phone about their services in hopes of clearing up some questions and scheduling an appointment with them. It wasn’t even 30 seconds into the call and the man was already being pretty disrespectful in that he was clearly annoyed (at me?) and seemed to not like me. In my case I was hoping to renew a passport I had gotten as a teenager, and instead of simple informing me that I would have to get a new passport because you can’t renew a children’s passport, the man proceeded to ask me questions about my age (because “my voice” must have indicated to him that I was young), my old passport, and sounded overall very agitated with me. Idk if he was just in a mood or if it was a bad day for him, but I think making a potential customer feel stupid about a question they’re asking is a no-go in basic customer interactions right? I stayed in the call despite this because I was really hoping to get some help in the matter, and proceeded to ask him about his prices. He listed a whole bunch of different prices I would have to pay for different scenarios, the only one of which was applicable to me being $600! This is a crazy amount of money to pay for a passport, and I really think it must’ve been my “young voice” that made him think I was stupid or something. After I hung up the call, I did some more research and found out the appointment he was charging a ton of money for (the appointment being for those who have travel in 14 days), can be scheduled for FREE directly through the official passport agency. Just do yourself a favor and don’t even bother with them, you’ll save your mind some peace and your wallet a lot of money!

Dimitri Katsabanis: One of the worst experiences I've had in quite some time. I made an appointment with Nestor Zabala and when I arrived to do my passport he begin inquiring in a disrespectful manner my family history and asking questions that had zero correlation with acquiring a passport. I explained my father passed away two months ago so he does not currently work. Nestor, just like all other questions, wasn't paying attention and gave me attitude that he needs to know my fathers employment. At one point I had to hold him accountable and tell him he was operating outside the boundaries of his occupation. It got so bad that he abruptly grabbed my paperwork and tossed it at my girlfriend and told us to get out. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE.

Marisela Rivera.: I would give this place 0 stars if it had an option! I went on Saturday 4/9/2022 for a new passport and Nestor charged me $95 for an application you can DO YOURSELF AND PRINT OUT FOR .25. Then never was I told that I still had to go to the city of West Miami to mail out the application. This place is horrible and a ripe out and not to mention I had an appointment at 11:30am and didn't get seen until 1:00pm. I suggest any one who is looking for a new passport to go to the post office or a library. Believe save yourself the trouble, time and money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Roberto Borbolla: DO NOT LET THE FIRST REVIEWS FOOL YOU! CONTINUE SCROLLING. Do not come here if you are looking to get a NEW PASSPORT. If you are trying to renew that might be a different story. Nestor had me fill out an application that anyone can fill out online for $75. Initially when I called, he told me that he would be able to do everything on site- He failed to mention that I was going to have to go to the city of coral gables to get the process started. Had he told me from the beginning, I would not be writing this review. When we first spoke, the fee was $60, when I got there, it was 75... Real Convenient Nestor. After I took my application to the city of Coral Gables Passport Facility everyone told me the same thing, DO NOT USE Nestors services. When I called after to explain that there was a miscommunication on the fee he was charging, he responded " you must be a $75 kind of guy." You can tell with a response like that, Nestor is not one to care or help. Save your money and do it FREE with the Coral Gables Passport Facility.

She just told me to calm down and she filled out all the paper work sent us to the acceptance agency really close by, I was nervous and anxious and nestor and Rosie just continued to assure me I would have her passport just in time. And that’s exactly how it was. It was a matter of four days and passport arrived just in time four our trip! I wish their were more stars I could give bc I would give them a 10!!!! Idalberto Quintana: What to expect , for $60 they will fill out your passport application, and will send you to the west miami city hall with the application so they can confirm everythingis right and send out the paperwork , and yes , you heard right $60 just yo fill out the application , But we couldn't be happier, all paperwork was professionally done and organized, and they will guarantee that you can submit application without an appointment , as soon as you tell the person on the city hall that you're coming from this office they will know and do the best they can do to help you out . We received our brand new passport in 3 weeks. Very fast! the staff was very attentive too. highly recommend it. 👌

DANIELLA CLARINDA: Great service! I was in dire need of a passport and none of the agencies had any openings until June. I called on Thursday and got an appointment on Monday morning at 8 am. By 8:30 the business owner (can’t remember her name) had filled out all my information and had me scheduled to turn in my paperwork in coral gables at 9 am. INDIRA DIAZ: I am giving this company 1 star only because 0 is not an option. Total scam. They charge an unnecessary fee for something you could do on your own. All they do is make the process longer and more tedious. It a waist if your time and money. I recommend going to an actual government led facility. You will get better quality and the application will be done quicker. The information they give you is incorrect and misleading. Horrible service by VAPA. I am very disappointed.

Dayanna Robb: THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!! If I could rate this place 0 stars, I would. I recently discovered my passport was expired and urgently needed a passport within 3-4 weeks. I thought the process was going smoothly, but I was soon put into check. This “service” requires you to pay a hefty fee before even contacting you in any way. What they don’t tell you is after you pay and fill the documents you need for your “service” is that they will drop all contact with you, and not return any of emails or phone calls. After being sent to the post office to get my passport paperwork checked I was told the return address the agency gave was not a legit place, and they were right. This place is a SCAM. i repeat, A SCAM. They take your money, and steal your information!! if it wasn’t for the very kind and generous lady at the local post office I would of had my previous passport sent off to god knows where. I recommend going to the government website of obtaining passports and visas as I was VERY lucky to get an urgent appointment to have my passport sent to me within a week. I am truthfully disgusted with the website and I can not believe they are allowed to fool people this way. keep yourself protected and pick a reliable service, have a good day.

Chesney Gregorie: Stay far away. Submitted paperwork weeks before date I needed it, and paid rush shipping and charges. Heard that because I hand wrote on the application, It takes much much longer to process (3-5 week window diff). I have pretty decent handwriting, and made sure to make every legible. They never said if I had signed it all digitally and sent it would be quicker. When I called to get status update, They were totally unresponsive. This business will never answer your phone calls or give you status update. I now have to drive all the way to another state, Cancel work, etc in the middle of my work week and days before I’m traveling just to rush my passport elsewhere Update: the morning I was packing to leave and drive out of state to make passport appointment with official govt branch, my passport arrived in the mail. Super duper close call and never want to deal with that stress again. No communication from the company ever.

Abbie Mcallister: Paid for 5 day renewal and gave all my personal information. Called to confirm receipt of information and was told that they were 2 weeks behind. Why did they take the money for something they couldn't deliver. SCAM

Kyle Nau: First thing I can say is that I'm glad I didn't read these reviews before using this company. I realized 5 weeks before leaving for Costa Rica that my passport expired. I freaked and found this company online saying that they could get the passport returned in 20 days. I signed up and worked with Oscar C. I moved forward... I fullfilled what I had to do that very day and got my expired passport in FedEx to them that very day. Oscar had great communication with me during the process. There was no guarantee on receiving my passport ontime due to covid, however the day I was "suppose" to receive it was 12/3. We'll wonderfully on 12/3 my passport arrived in the mail as expected and I'm leaving on my trip a week later. WOW, so glad I had a good experience and now I get to go on vacation. I paid like $200 or something for this service and it was worth it just to be able to get my passport and go. I really feel for those who didn't have the same experience.

Lindsey Capps: I placed an order March 15th and was charged for services that were immediately canceled. I have asked several times for my money to be refunded to me. They email me back, but then never follow through on the return of my money. I have filed with my credit card and am now posting to review sites and other commerce review sites to let other know - DO NOT USE THEM.

Sarah Rosenbloom: THIS IS A SCAM. Avoid at all costs- truly incompetent and unprofessional account managers who over promise and don’t follow through with their guarantees. I purchased an expedited passport renewal for $300 guaranteed before my trip departure and they now say they’re backed up and they don’t know when I’ll get it. They actually just stop responding and there is no manager to contact. No general customer service that can help either. Seriously stay away.

Adam Brower: Do not use this company. In our desperation to renew our surprisingly expired passports within 30 days of a trip my wife hired this firm. When I found out, I quickly did research on my phone and realized that I could extradite the process easily myself through the government's own site. I also began researching the company to see if I should just let them do it regardless. The more I read about them, the more I found many negative reviews. As such, I called to politely ask for a refund twenty minutes after paying over $540 initially. I was told it would be refunded within 7-8 days with a fee. We are fifteen days removed, no refund, no communication from the company. As such, we had to call our bank to fight it as fraudulent to get our money back. Trust me, do not hire this company. You can do this all yourself through the US Government's expedited system. We got our passports within two weeks start to finish on our own. In my opinion, this company is taking advantage of people in need, quick to take your money in a five minute phone call, and as soon as you ask for a refund for no work performed, they drag their feet and want to charge you a processing fee regardless. There is a reason the US government does not sanction a specific company, let alone this firm. Steer clear. You'll thank me.

Isbell M. Lucero: Worst service ever. The people are rude and and when you ask a question they get upset. They give appointments for times they go on lunch. Parking is bad. That are reserved for employees. It’s not worth going tho this center for any service. When they come back from lunch they don’t fallow appointments.

Annik Babinski: Terrible experience from the moment I walked in the door. Incredibly rude and unhelpful staff. When I asked a simple question about payment method for my passport services I was spoken to aggressively and dismissively. I was told I had to redo my passport application and I did. When I returned to the desk, I was told I would have to redo it again in black ink (I used blue ink). I would think that they would make a point to let me know the ink color before I spent 10 minutes redoing the application. They were unapologetic and spoke condescendingly to me. I'm very disappointed with the service at West Miami City Hall. I won't be bringing my business here. I'll go to Coral Gables instead.

Jeannette S.: My husband and I went about 3 weeks ago to get new passports. Before going I called to confirm if I can obtain passport with my last name changed due to me recently getting married. They informed me that yes, it would be fine as long as I have my birth certificate and my marriage license. As soon as we got into the place NO ONE acknowledged us nor did they tell something like “please make sure to have the application filled or if you don’t have one please get one here”. That was the first unprofessional mishap. I fortunately enough grabbed one and started completing it. They called a gentleman shortly after and then sent him back to his seat in a VERY rude way informing him that he had messed up his application to do it again. Then, we were called. I was completing the second application when RAISA ORTIZ said “you’re not finished? Imagine if I had to wait for everyone to finish. And by the way we close at 6:30 so that’s your problem”. I was fathom. I quickly finished the application and I informed her “I finished”. She then proceeded to say “well now you have to wait”. Mind you.. she’s the one who said we have limited time. As she was attending us the whole time she was so rude and so unprofessional. Giving us attitude as if she was highly frustrated with her job. She then said “wait, you’re getting a passport with your name change? But do you have proof cause I don’t see it?” I began explaining how I called days before etc. She then said “oh yes I remember your call but imagine I don’t think we can do that but ok ima do it but it’s your problem if they don’t accept it”. All of this mind you in an extremely rude way. As we began completing the process someone knocked on the door outside of the building because it was closed. The young girl knocking and no acknowledgement. She then called 4 times and no answer. In a business you need to at least inform them that they were closed. RAISA ORTIZ then said to her coworker “yeah leave her there”. AGAIN, no acknowledgement to the young lady no information no nothing. We preceded with our payment and the whole time again RAISA continued with her attitude. This is one of the worst service I’ve ever received. I can understand working with customer service may be challenging but there is no need to treat anyone the way she did. If she is not happy with her job then maybe it’s time to find something else.

Cuban Connection: Prepare to be there at 5:00am or night before , sign says 90 tickets but only 60 we’re given, not enough parking and police on site to ticketed you. They sent you home after that, don’t go with your child, it will be a nightmare, they even advised you to stay there first, then bring your child, no care for pregnants, newborns or elderly. Way to go Sweetwater!!

Jayden Jung: Good place to apply passport. There are 4 people for supporting. They are all professional. The parking lot is not free but you can park near street. Just come early before open the office.

I first went to check info and am grateful I did since the info I had from the passport locations website was wrong (hours and days of operation). Second time (01/07/22) I went with husband and son at around 9 am and took a number since they were 4 people before us. The process was smooth and the attendants were all helpful and nice. We spent less than 1 hour from arrival to finishing the process. Took 1 star off because they have a sign stating that they accept all tipes of payment but that morning their system wasn't working for payments and they only could take money orders or personal checks so my husband had to drive to the nearest bank for the money order... but they were accepting the $35 fee by cash.. Anyways we're pleased with the service provided and the attentive personnel.

What makes bad? the people!!! How is possible people arrive asking questions that are supposed to be googled first, bringing just cash and no money order nor personal checks, and once is open be in front of the agent when a client is already with the agent working on their application plus being with the agent and start filling out your application. Come on!!! Be prepared!! All requisites are online what would you need. Fill your application out at home , bring your pics , money order or personal checks and the process would be a piece of cake!!!

Gaspar B63: This place as many other government places should be permanently closed. They suppose to be public servants and instead benefit from our taxes and totally disrespect us. COVID-19 pandemic is just another excuse to provide no service. Today January 6 at 2:15 pm (they supposed to work until 4 pm), the office was completely empty with 3 employees there. I went to renew a passport to go to a charity mission in Dominican Republic and they just said that " they can not get any more applicants today" . I am a healthcare employee that every day have to go to the frontline of COVID-19 in the hospitals to take care of the sickest patients and we proudly do so but I can can afford to lose a day of work in order to get one of the tickets " they award us" early in the morning. They do not have appointments available soon enough to get the passport on time for this trip. Shameful dysfunctional/non-functional government offices

Steffan Blanco: Long hours but nice service. Understaffed. For parking is either pay-by-meter, or you can risk doing like me and go to small open condominiums. There are some around. The one I used was two blocks after the place, make a left (you'll see a small supermarket on the corner), continue a bit forward and you'll see it on your left (row of apartments together), park inside on visitor.

Ian Skinner: My experience at this location was the greatest ever. Juan the Security Officer remembered me from a couple weeks prior asking questions about walk ins. I came in 2weeks later and he took great care of me. Angela my rep. Handled my application process with so much speed and grace. I’m so thankful to get my Passport renewal process in such a timely matter. I was honestly expecting to be there for 2-3hours. My process took maybe 25-30m.. Also I just left my check book😲. I was just called to come pick it up … 🙌🏾 Best service in the Passport industry !

Plenty on parking, walked right in and was greeted by a very helpful security guard. Was given a number and within minutes was being helped by Gretel at window 1. She was super nice and very helpful guiding me through the potentially daunting passport process. She was patient and knowledgeable. A true professional. Angie came over to take the photos and also had a cheerful and helpful attitude. I asked myself: "Am I in a Government Office?" The whole process took less than 15 minutes and was painless! Just bring CASH, as some transactions cannot be completed using Credit Cards. They will make you a money order for just one dollar. If everything government office had employees like these, the world would be a much better place! Kudos to the staff at The City of Coral Gables Passport Facility. They are a solid "10!"

Carlos Tamayo: There is always a problem in this store. I come in, the place is empty and the front desk lady didn’t want to accept my package because I didn’t have a mask. In the meantime, she has a transparent helmet covering her whole face while saying that. She didn’t want to attend me and she used the “no mask excuse.” We are in a red state people.

Yohana Bravo: Horrible customer service. Agents don't know how to be polite. You come with an appointment and they make u wait outside until they are done with a line that never stops. They gesture to customers with their fingers like dogs and not in the nice way. If you feel like being mistreated feel free to come. They'll give you the royal treatment. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Manny Bruh: I wish I could give ZERO stars. This is the worst USPS to ever exist. They stated “attempted delivery” which is a LIE because I was home waiting for it. Then they changed my package to “Held at post office at customers request” which is another LIE. They close at 5pm so now I cannot pick it up until Saturday. I paid delivery for nothing because these employees decided they didn’t want to make a delivery. They need to fire this whole crew and rehire employees that actually want to work and know what they’re doing. When I check the "tracking number", I find: "Your item is being held at the Miami, FL 33135 Post Office at 7:42 pm on September 27, 2021 at Customer Request". I have not made this request. So, today, September 28, 2021 I went in person to the Post Office located at: 425 NW 27th Ave, Miami Fl 33125. And there the employee on duty, without looking for my package or by the tracking number, explained to me that: "Don't worry for that notice. It is automatically generated by the computer. You will receive the package today". I asked this employee to please check her computer for the location of my package, and she refused. she told me: "Don't worry, you will receive the package today." I left this office very worried. I think the customer service is not good. Question: Is it legal for the Post Office to hold my correspondence when I have not made this request? Is it Legal for the Post Office to send me a notice that says: "Held at Post Office, At Customer Request" - when I have not made this request? **** It is September 28, 2021 - 4:20 pm and I HAVE NOT RECEIVED my package, which I should have received yesterday, September 27, 2021.

Felix Fuentes: Note even though parking lot is small that is not the problem. The issue is if your Hispanic and only know Spanish they cannot help you since every one only speaks English so please be aware. Also, I've been noticing after several times at different days the location opens at a much later times. So if it says opens at 8:30am don't believe it they will not open at that time. What I have seen at least 10 minutes to 15 minutes after 8:30am. Also noticing many other post office close the doors early too. I've seen it happen to many locations not just this one.

Marta Diaz: This is formal complaint from all the staff here, including the manager Jose V who call us after the incident happen. My mother in law and father in law were screamed in this place. They were discriminated for being Hispanic, first if you work for customer service you supposed to have respect for each other, that is part of your job and if you can’t then quit your job, the gentleman who scream at my family is still working here besides the horrible incident. Please do you a favor and don’t go to this place. This is what USPS represents?
