Andy Ward: I have just shopped around today for currency as we ran out of dollars (other half overspending again!) We have been staying in an apartment in Brickell so looked at all the money exchanges nearby and this one had some good reviews. I still called 4 or 5 though to see who would give the best exchange from Euros to dollars and Abbott Foreign Money Exchange gave me a pretty much unbelievable rate over the phone. I actually deal in currency a lot back in Europe where I live so know a thing or two about changing cash and I very doubt I would have done better back there! As previously mentioned its not a fantastic area but it is very safe during office hours and was just a 5 minute walk for us downtown. I really cannot see how any other exchange would beat what I was given today - I changed 500€ and they gave me a rate 7c better than another exchange I called - 7c! Thats a huge difference! Plus no "fees" or any other charges - just a straight exchange rate - definitely worth visiting if you have money to change in Miami.

Alfredo Pino: Very professional, fast and efficient. They even have a “Valet Parking” free for the first 20 minutes. Also they will give you exactly the currency exchange rate for that day. You just “google it”, call them and compare it to the price they offer. I’ve done it twice with them and they match it perfectly...

Robert Alexander: WOW! I just got ripped off at the currency exchange at the F terminal Atlanta Airport. I gave them 400.00 dollars to exchange and they gave me 6200 Mexican pasos($303.61 US dollars). I understand that they have to make a profit thats why they also charge a $12.95 commission. Their exchange rates for Mexican pesos are 0.0641010 and when I looked up the current exchange rates they are 0.049. That is not even close. They basically took $100.00 out of my $400 as profit. Unbelievable.! PLEASE ALL BE WARNED, DO NOT US THIS PLACE!

Dawid Grzechnik: All would be great if not one detail. I wanted to exchange US$ to Chilean and Argentinian pesos. The rate was better vs. competition, but the seller refused to hand me the total amount of Chilean currency in 20.000 banknotes because “she would have left with none”... WHAT? So now, I will have to carry pile of banknotes with me. They did not have banknotes of 1000 Argentinian pesos either... hence Perhaps it was the issue on that particular day but I would suggest to manage their stock better. Other than that it was ok.

I gave them 200€ and they must’ve seen I just arrived and was very tired because they literally gave me exactly 185$ (weird enough) and no receipt but just a quick „goodbye“. I was too baffled to react properly. For reference: according to Google 200€ are worth 217,77$. I’d love to come back and ask for the 32,77$ they „charged“ me without even telling me the did- but I don’t even have a receipt. (It was two days ago early afternoon) I’m extremely disappointed and feel used! Maybe he’s just favoring people from his own origin I don’t know Edit: the answer came so late that obviously I’m not in Miami anymore and have no chance to reimburse the money they owe me. I’m a student, I don’t have much money, so the way I was treated had pretty bad financial consequences for me.

Keyshawn Watler: I needed cash and I had 25 kyd which is equal to 30 usd so I went and I assumed that I had to pay a small fee to exchange currency’s which was no problem, but the lady told me it was worth 18 usd. I showed her all the calculations and everything and she still said she is not giving me anything above 18 usd. This place is a total scam don’t recommend it
Leonel Peon: Outstanding service and super friendly. I ordered some Costa Rica colones over the phone and they arrived the very next day! The rates are also very competitive and much better compared to the airport or a bank. I will definitely be coming back next time I travel abroad!

jayson and amy: I asked their fees and the woman said $8.95 flat fee unlimited amount. The. I asked the exchange rate for Eastern Caribbean (EC) and she says “$2.136 per $1 USD”. WHAT??!! It should be $2.69-2.70 because it hasn’t changed beyond that in 5 years. But then she gets into this whole “spot rate” pitch that really doesn’t matter because the EC is pegged to USD. It’s a legal scam. Avoid unless you want to loose an extra 20% plus the $8.95 fee

Once on a wed or tues and then went over on a Thursday, besides the rates being told to me differently, I questioned the attendant and made her call the manager, which is not very nice. The exchange was ridiculous. I changed over $1100 and I got ripped off. But I hope they enjoy the money they me ripped off of me. I will never do business with them and will tell all my friends who travel abroad to never use this company. They are phonies and lie about the rate to get you there.
