Leonardo Isaza: We came here recommended to be the best. All the staff provided 110% service, nice disposition, plus great knowledge. If you want the best setup and gear for your photography and videos, this is the place to come!

Ari Eliefja: There aren't many true photography shops left ... this one is one of the few remaining. Run by honest, knowledgeable, and friendly people who know the craft. It's kind of of like when you find a good doctor, or a good mechanic, you don't switch to someone else. There's no replacing trust.

Isaiah Olson (CursedNoven): Could not find the OM System (the new Olympus) OM-1 camera in stock anywhere else. Well, one other store I found online but they didn't take Discover not Paypal so I wasn't able to purchase. Thankfully Pitman takes PayPal! As for service, the first lady to answer was very friendly and polite, and the sales associate she got me in touch with was also very friendly and helpful. They had one body left in stock and reserved it for me over the phone until I could finish my online checkout. If it doesn't actually ship and was on backorder or any other shipping issues arise I'll update the review, but I have full confidence due to the genuine people I talked to.

MAD Research: Wow! It's a rare commodity to find a company that cares about the customer! I called about an out of stock Sony camera, not only did Glenn take the time, check inventory from Sony he proceeded to put me on a list for the desired model. Then called me back to tell me they had located similar options. Little things like customer service can win the loyalty for a lifetime, Pitman has won my business and my respect!

John Ries: I've been dealing with Pitman over many many years and I'm located on the other coast. My previous studio and lab used to obtain many supplies from Pitman. Now as a freelancer my needs changed but I still have a top notch dealer to obtain gear and supplies from. Nothing better than a quality local business to deal with. It's a very well organized, very clean and well supplied operation. I do wish they stocked a little more in the way of lighting and grip equipment. I love that they promote film and processing and would like to see that expanded. I'd like to see a larger variety of pre-owned equipment as well including formats greater than 35mm. Nice group of people and always a pleasant experience to stop in when in Miami.

Jonathan von Freileben: Covid fear. If you feel like shopping in an environment filled with fear, you've come to the right place. I was asked to put on a mask twice and declined in a friendly but firm manner. The last argument they used to convince me to put on a face diaper was that an employee allegedly had Covid. My question "Then why is this one working here and not in quarantine?" was not answered and the employee then gave up. You can find double masked workers there with gloves on. So don't be surprised if you call and hardly understand a word. You can assume that every employee there is boosted 10 times.

Karen Hernandez: We came to get a remote control for my dslr camera and the attention was very good from the personal. He tried the remote on a camera to see that it work. They have a very nice and clean store with many products.

Cindy Xu: After reading all the positive review, I’ve decided to purchase new gear here. Due to security, they want me to send photo ID and I don’t feel comfortable to share it online. Therefore, We agreed to cancel the order and issue refund on 6/21/2022. Now it’s been a week and still no refund or any cancellation email. I’ve been emailing them constantly. However, There’s no reply or any follow up of our conversation via email. They maybe good at onsite services. Very unprofessional online customer service. If your reading this and thinking of purchasing online, please shop somewhere else.

Cyril Miranda: The store is nice. This is my to-go store for everything I need for photography. The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. They do nice events like this one from the photos where they ring models and cameras for you to try and take photos. They also have lessons and more. They are the best store in town.

panervo: Excellent buying experience thanks to the diverse selection for all budget ranges. More importantly, thanks to Gabe for kindly taking the time to get me the exact equipment I needed for what I was trying to accomplish. Without his assistance, I doubt I would have gotten close to achieving this result.

Eric Franz: I would not recommend this business. I am long time customer, over 20 years. Before moving for a job out of country I tried to purchase new Sony camera. First I was given lecture that they only carry"professional equipment" and that Sony is not considered based on their standards "professional" brand. Anyway, I had a gift certificate for $300 so I just paid the difference and they were going to order the camera for me. Unfortunately they were not able to get the camera in time, so we cancelled the order and I had to go with Amazon that got it to me the next day and $20 less and I kept the store credit. When I moved back to Miami I passed by the store and saw they were relocating to a new location. I spoke with Derek and he assured me that they are not closing, just moving and my credit was valid and will not loose it. After they moved to new location and I decided to update some lights I passed by the store since I knew I have over $600 credit with them. I was told by the same manager Derek that unfortunately the company is now own by different owners and they no longer honer my credit. So no. I would not recommend to do any business with this company. Shame on you!

David Olivares: Staff are rude. When I enter the store, the salesman tried to turn me away because he thought I was a food delivery guy. I ended up buying a set of light just because I needed it urgently, otherwise I would have walked away. Never come back again.

Marisol Gallardo: They are very nice and best of all professional people. I took some old films from my father and they were able to rescue them and was an excellent job! My daughter likes photography very much and she just develop her fotos with them. 5 stars !

Veronica Ali: Worst customer service I have ever had! The man at the counter bagged up the film I brought (to get developed) with the rest of the things I purchased forcing me to turn back around when I got home. Then when I got there I was met with an attitude after he made a mistake. He said, "If you're gonna give me an attitude you can take the film back." I wasn't giving you an attitude, but it's frustrating that you have one job and you can't handle it. On top of that, he told me a certain roll of film that I bought would be $6 and that a chord I bought would be $12 (since nothing has a price tag on it). Once I got home for a second time and checked my receipt, I noticed that he charged me $8 for the roll of film and $15 for the chord. He says he is going to give me the cash back when I get there next week, but I highly doubt that will happen. I will never bring my business there again and you shouldn't either!

Edgar Sierra: Horrible attitude and service. They Sale things that don't work, and don't allow value their own return policy. They are over priced and a bit rude. Please just buy from someone else or the Internet, it might be easier than the experience I had.

Terry Boynton: Josh, David, and all of the staff there are incredible. Anytime you make an investment into Leica, you are making a commitment given the price point. But one thing I can say about the folks at Leica Miami is that they are willing to answer any and all questions. The other thing I like about them, is that they will not steer you into something more expensive if you don't need it. For me, that build trust and I will always deal with them because I know that they are willing to be upfront and honest. For sure they have turned me into a loyal customer.

Dan S: I’ve had the pleasure of working with Josh L and with David F on a variety of Leica purchases. In all cases, I couldn’t be happier. I live in the Chicago area and there isn’t a store around with the Leica knowledge or equipment that can compare with Leica Miami. This Leica store has the best selection for 2nd hand Leica cameras, lenses and other accessories. Josh was able to help me out from showing me pictures of the camera and shipping it to me. His professional customer service is top notch and I could only guess how much better he is able to help out in store.

When the pandemic shutdown hit, Leica Store Miami started streaming "Red Dot Forums" week after week to a worldwide audience. This is a key example of how Leica Store Miami cares about their clients and keeps them informed even under difficult circumstances about the broad spectrum of both technical and applications for Leica equipment. A well-known sports coach once said that when you do the right things the score will take care of itself. Leica Store Miami is a practicing example of that high goal.

Hopper Stone: I've never been inside this store. All of my dealings have been on the phone and online. I've found other Leica stores (one in particular) to be super snooty...like I should be thrilled that they are deeming to take my money. The LS-Miami (besides having a really good flow of used gear) is laid back on the phone and super helpful. I've had a few phone dealings with Josh and he's so laid back and down to earth and helpful. He doesn't know who I am from Adam, but he seems to treat each customer with the same respect...whether they are well known or not...whether they are dropping 50k or 1k. I don't live near Miami but they have become my go-to Leica dealer.

But there’s no any sign said “private event”, I checked the store website, the event just a regular workshop, class. I told the manager: I want to find accessories for my m10 camera, then he let me stay and purchased. All over all, just Because I wear a T-shirt and a khaki pants, not match Leica Miami’s elegant dress code. Can anyone remove this one star for me? They even not deserve receive a star. Worst experience ever.

We don’t wear suits and ties and we don’t expect our customers to either. We prefer a more casual and inclusive space. Our passion is for Leica and photography. This past Saturday happened to be the first in-person local event in over a year and a half. Due to COVID and short-staffing, we’ve only been able to open on Saturdays “By Appointment Only” and recommend calling ahead of time - we do have this posted on our website, Google, social media and in the storefront window. Even though we weren’t operating normal store hours that day due to the photo walk, we did welcome you in the store and helped you find a diopter for your camera. Normally, we would be able to spend more one-on-one time with you, but our staff was in the midst of assisting event attendees. We extended an invitation to you to join the walk, which was free and open to all, if you had the time. We’re currently training new staff and aim to be open for normal business hours by the end of the year to avoid any store hour confusion in the future. We hope you will choose to visit us again so you can have the full Leica Store Miami experience. Thank you again for the feedback.

Your Time is Now: I traded my Leica Q2 in for an M10-R and a 35mm f/2 summicron. I reached out to Josh and gave him the info he needed to consider my trade. He offered me a very fair amount for my Q2, and was selling the very lightly used M10-R and the Summicron at the right price. Once we established a trade value, I shipped to him and when it arrived he got back to me quickly and told me that he would honor the price we had agreed to prior to shipment. No hassles, no trying to work me down after he saw the camera, which if you've ever worked with KEH or Adorama or some of the other buyers is a rarity. I paid the balance owed right away and two days later, I had my new camera and lens in my mitts. Working with Josh was a really terrific experience from start to finish. The process was smooth, straight-forward and Josh is very honest and would answer my emails quickly and thoroughly. I will definitely do business with Leica Miami again, and if you're thinking about working with them, don't hesitate.

Gabe Sanchez: SCAMMERS. Unprofessional staff. Horrible attitudes from the get go. Bad communication as well. I never got any rental confirmation, not even an “ok”. They also claim their return policies are clearly stated when they are nowhere to be found. They neglect to share their closing times and return policies during the whole process. The agreement does not state times or policies for return. They basically turn a blind eye to get you to pay extra days and fees, on purpose. And on top of that they give you HUGE attitude for it. This place is the worst. Never renting here again. They are just plain nasty.

We would have no reason to scam you. You rented gear on Friday. Your gear was supposed to be returned on Saturday. Our hours are 9 AM-12 PM on Saturdays as stated on our google listing, website, and even our voicemail. You claimed that you attempted to return at 12:00 PM. When my Manager stated he stayed until 12:15 PM, you then changed your lie to you tried returning at 12:30 PM, yet you sent us an email about us being closed at 2:34 PM. You then proceeded to return on Monday at 11:30 AM an hour and a half after the industry wide return window of 10:00 AM stated clearly on the rental agreement form you signed. You started cursing your head off at us about charging you a second day on a single light that was sub-rented (we were charged two days). Out of good faith we only charged one day on everything else despite the verbal abuse. We have served clients large and small with the same professional courtesy on a daily basis for over 25 years and will continue to onward.

We started with a phone consultation that lasted 30min in which Romulo explained all his process and walked me through the appropriate exporting settings. Then I received multiple updates of my order (40x60 with frame), every step of the printing/framing was explained, shared, and celebrated. This human touch is AMAZING!! This is something I don’t get through the big Fine Art Labs. I didn’t feel I was a order #, I was treated with respect and transparency. I felt I had a partner who cared deeply about my order. They shipped it to Boston, it arrived PERFECT. It looked gorgeous!!! My client LOVED IT!!! I will be coming back to print big canvas over and over again!!! Katherine Gutierrez: BUYER BEWARE: I am only giving one star because the image was printed. The amount they charge to just PRINT a photo is absurd. $65 to print it while I was contacting other (better) professional Photography stores and they charge less for just a photo. And the guy that works there did not even cut the edges of the photo, now making it even more difficult to find a frame. I have to now customize it. Wonderful, more money. I called not even an hour later to place a cancellation to the order and supposedly, already sent it to get printed. He apparently could not call the company he uses to cancel it. Give me a break, that is not how things work, he just wanted to spend not even $10 to print it and charge customers $55 extra. The guy is also very sarcastic and just not helpful. Terrible terrible terrible, will NOT be recommending.

Rica Fizz: This place is so messed up!! I ordered a frame for my daughters quince photo and it came with only two inches, when I had asked the manager for three inches yet they still claimed it was the right order and they wouldn’t let me change it. The store in general looks bad. They sell dresses that are in bad condition(the jewels are peeled off). Don’t go to this store or you will be ripped off.

Kay: Thought long and hard about doing this for months, and finally decided to speak up. I went to this photo studio and had some pictures taken by a young man, and they were incredible. I ended up getting way more than the package included because I was so pleased, but asked to pay the balance in full when the pictures were developed for me to see. I was never told that this is considered to be a payment plan, and there is a fee. I found out when I went to pick up the pictures by a white female with red hair. I asked to see the policy; it’s not the money, it’s the principal. If you charge a fee, no problem. It’s business. She showed it to me, then I paid and left. I noticed that this girl is very rude, has negative body language and face expressions, is sarcastic, and very passive-aggressive. I returned months later to have my child photographed, and ironically, she was the photographer. The former employee was no longer there. No problem. This girl greeted other customers, gave me a nasty attitude, and had the AUDACITY to ignore me, and directly address my minor child about the type of pictures we were taking. I could not believe the nerve of this girl. I very quickly told her that they are a minor, and she should be speaking to me, the parent, about that. My mistake was not asking to speak to a supervisor for a different photographer, or just walking out. During the session, she was careless, and acted like she didn’t want to do it. At the end of it, she overheard me say to my child about how nice they looked in the last photo. She then passed me on to another employee to review the pictures, where I discovered that she spitefully deleted the same picture I complimented my child about. This girl is dangerous for business. Even though I paid for the session beforehand, there was no way I was going to return to this place to pick up the pictures, or for any future services. I don’t know what they did with the pictures, but I spent the extra money and had my child photographed somewhere else. I found a professional photographer, in skill and behavior, that gave me more quality pictures for less money. This company is well known in Miami, especially for school pictures, and I never had any issues with them before. Ever. Because of this employee, I will never do business with them again. Customers make the business; without our hard-earned money, it cannot function. Customer retention is key, via courtesy, respect, professionalism, a positive attitude, proper presentation, and appropriate conduct. I am sure I am not the first customer to complain about this employee, and I won’t be the last.

Cynthia Liberiste: I’ve had the best experience with them for 27 years. I’ve had my birthday photos, graduation photos and soon my wedding photos. This company is always lending a hand to students to help them gain more knowledge in there craft. I’ve had friends work there and state that there experience working with them was knowledgeable and overall a great experience to shape them into well photographers. Mr. Nick & Mrs. Lunia have always been reasonable and work on helping the customers with payments for photos. Thank you for always helping the community and always being there with your services. 💕

SmithInc Visuals: By far the worst company I have ever worked for. Mr Nick scams customers and lies to his employees. You will never get your pictures on time as Mr. Nick does not know how to properly execute a work flow properly. Everything from equipment to the way he works is outdated. Barely any props of backgrounds to use and they make you pay EVERYTHING up front even though they sometimes have people wait over a year to get their pictures. Definitely reporting this company (and having others do it as well) to the Better Business Bureau. This old man has no idea of the new ways of photography and is stuck in the past. He might as well be shooting on film. He's scared of learning knew things and thinks he knows everything, therefore his business will continue to suffer. If you need a photographer do not go to this place, they only have two experienced photographers, nobody else knows what the hell they are doing. Also, stay away from a lady called Ms. Lunia, she will definitely at some point scam you out of your money!

Daisy G: I have nothing to say but good things about Nick's Photo Studio. I've been going to them since I took my High School senior pictures. I recently did my maternity photoshoot with them. The level of customer service we received from them was beyond measure. My husband and I scheduled the photo shoot at 4 pm but due to traffic we arrived at 4:45 pm, Claudia and Louna were so understanding. These ladies were so patient with us, they let us change into our many outfits even though it was passed 6 pm which is the time they close the studio. I don't regret choosing them for my maternity shoot. Might I add everyone there is very professional!!

bigslime: This was a horrible experience. I took photos at this studio, purchased the photo packet paid and full for $300+ before the deadline in Decber 2021. Fast forward February 2022, the packet is still not complete with photos purchased nor ready for pickup! Per Nick studio employees, they are short staff and their laboratory is closed until next week. This studio failed to manage and evaluate orders created and completed. This studio has cause an inconvience with this customer and I should be compensated for this delay and bad customer service. I will report this to the BBB.

They took several photos and used props to make sure he smiled and looked great in the photo. Within a few minutes I had his photos and they even helped me make a copy of a document for the passport application. Will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!

Dave Summerill: I've used PhotoPro for probably over 20 years now. I have been very happy with the way I've been treated and the quality of the product I've received. I can give them a $600 print order and it will be done within two days most of the time. The online ordering has been fantastic! From huge orders to tiny. Like everyone in business they have had to find ways to make their business work so everyone there has many 'hats to wear'. I've always been treated professionally. Mauricio “マウリシオ” Giraldo Mutis: After browsing options on FedEx Office, Staples, CVS, I found this place. I needed to print 3 photos in a very specific size (The others didn't offer the option, the sites where to complicated or they only had a shipping option.). Their web app is pretty easy to use and they had the pictures ready for me in less that 4 hours. The cost was a fraction than the others. I was able to pick them up the very same day. This is my new place for all my printing needs.

Merrick Chase: I own a high end headshot business that caters to very successful companies who care the utmost about their images and the quality of work to be produced. Photo Pro completely saved me and enabled me to pull off a really big corporate shoot absolutely seamlessly and I couldn't be more grateful for their help- and their highest quality work! I only wish I could remember the name of the man who was so helpful to me- THANK YOU! I came out to Miami from Boulder, Colorado for a multi-day corporate shoot with a high profile investment firm from Chicago. The shoot was a multi-day headshot and group portrait shoot at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Coconut Grove. The client wanted about 120 8x12" color prints produced from one of the group shots we did with everyone, FOR THE FOLLOWING DAY! I knew this going into the shoot and looked far and wide on the internet from Colorado for a pro photo lab that could deliver this very tall order. Well, Photo Pro went ABOVE AND BEYOND to produce this image for me after regular hours, late at night on the night of the shoot after the client had made its selections. Photo Pro went back and forth with me on very particular edits and color corrections and sure enough had the 120 8x12 inch prints produced for me right on time the following morning! WHO DOES THAT?! Seriously, this lab enabled me to pull off a really big job for a very important client and I quite literally could not have done it without them. THANK YOU so much to the man who helped me and whose name I cannot remember or find in our email chains! I have been meaning to write this review for too long and finally made good on it this morning. I cannot more highly recommend this lab for the highest quality prints and service at a level of which I've never quite experienced anywhere. I was treated like an old friend and reassured from the beginning of our interactions that I would be taken care of. Boy, was I ever taken care of. My technichian worked for hours late at night with me on this order and talked me thru every step of the process. Oh yeah, and their prices are fantastic. I was not paying tons and tons of money for this service, just good, competitive prices for super high quality prints. This place is amazing. Friggin' fantastic job, thank you again!!

A Google User: Photo Pro works well with photographers and artists. They provide one on one service to make sure the image looks perfect! They also have affordable prices and everything always comes out perfect or they redo. Best printing in Miami!

Ray Smith: Where do I start. I will commence with the customer service HORRIBLE! No one ever works the front desk you have to wait to be attended, once attended you still have to wait some more the owner Danny Oria appeaser to be lost in his world or on Pot all the time, the materials used are very cheap or of poor quality. My print was damaged by one of there staff and no one had the morals to pin point it out and allowed me to walk out out with the print I noticed the image was damaged two days later when I went to mount it I noticed there was a line across my clients faces. the print was reprinted with another lab out of the Miami area. STAY AWAY FROM HERE.
