PetSmart: what do users think?

Nervus Pudendus: It is so sad to see the animals in this store suffer. I would not have a problem with pets being sold, but here they are stuffed into extremely small cages. Some.of them can barely move. Cats are locked in small cages, many fish are in small plastik boxes, some of them are dead.

Liz: My dog got a beautiful haircut here! I stopped going to other groomers because PetSmart grooming does an excellent job and their prices are good, too! My dog Arya looks like she is ready for a wedding, that’s how fabulous she looks after her haircut. I recommended PetSmart grooming to my friend and her Pomeranian got a gorgeous lion 🦁 cut, and she is so happy with the results!

Jo Wryals: I love PetSmart. Staff was helpful and cooperative. The store is well-stocked but unfortunately they were out of medium-sized collars. I was able to purchase other items. Love this store.

The Bohemian Bazaar: Five stars to Francisca at the grooming saloon as she make Dior looks so gorgeous and ready for a pasarela show …Amazing work Francisca

Robyn “Midoki” Rivera: Blows Petco on Miami Beach out of the water. They have huges aisles and a great selection of live animals.

Tania M: Poor management at this store. Hire more people!! There is only ever one cashier at the front and a line of people. No one answers the phone, no one tends to curbside pickup, no one inside the store to assist with anything. Also three-quarters of the shelves are empty and canned pet food are in boxes/cases that you have to open up to take out what you want. Will avoid and shop at Chewy or other online retailers from now on.

Debora Castillo Castellon: We visited PetSmart Pet Grooming located in Flagler, Miami. Maria was amazing, kind and attentive with our Bruno. She did a beautiful job. Bruno was very happy with her.

D Le: Brought both of my dogs in for grooming and I couldn’t be happier with the service. The staff is very nice and caring. My dogs are clean and well-trimmed. Will keep coming here.

k: would give 0 stars if i could VERY IMPROPERLY CARES FOR ANIMALS!! Will attach a photo below but they are not caring for many of their pets and when brought up to the employees, they shrugged it off. said the manager didn’t have the time to help. there were rusty screws in their live animal enclosures(bottom left in the photo) AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL

Francisco Gonzalez: Great products for your pets.

Henrietta Campbell: My 12 y/o black lab always gets groomed by Esther. She is amazing, super caring and goes above and beyond to make sure our old man is happy shiny and clean when we pick him up. She is very consistent and works quickly and efficiently. 10/10 Recommend!

Miami-Dade Animal Services Pet Adoption & Protection Center: what do users think?

Ava Hechavarria: About a month ago we came to this place to adopt a new kitten. This is where we got our cat Julie! They were clean and professional and when we got Julie she was already spayed which was amazing! They were also very organized. The cats and kittens were adorable and the dogs were too! There was also a cat named Islandboy which was funny🙂

Josh Ferrer: Adopted a dog from here recently, very happy with the new addition to my family. Recommend this adoption center 100%

Joanna Martinez: It was an awsome experience I got the most humble pup! He is well trained and has the most cuddly face ever he loves his new home

Katherine Fontan: I came to surrender two friendly and calm kittens and left completely shocked at what a staff member in the surrender department told me. A black haired young woman with glasses attended me. After going back and forth, I was told to just them right back where I found them. All of this only because I knew two kittens could get a safe and loving home and COULDNT take them back with me for two weeks after their vaccinations. Not everyone has the ability to take care of more pets, I have a big dog at home as well as other cats that don’t get along well with new animals. So the solution? Throw them right back to the streets where anything can happen. I really expected more like why would you get a job involving animals if you’re going to be disrespectful and have an attitude? In the end, I called the director and went back, where this woman had the audacity to say remarks like “Ugh”. ITS YOUR JOB!! All just to sign a paper and put them in a cage, something she could’ve done right from the start. For any service other than animal surrender, this shelter is good. I’ve adopted from here and spayed/neutered all of my animals from here with no issues and very friendly staff.

Sadia Rachel Hemmad: If they had a zero start I would give them zero , it’s heartbreaking what just happens to us on 26th of December . My step children went for a walk and rescued two new born kittens with eyes still closed , we had so much hard time to feed them or clean them. We took them to miami animal shelter and they told us to put them back where they were found to let them die . Still shocked 😳

Andrew Ogden: Got my boy in December 2021 and he’s been great. Process was smooth and they were communicative.

PetSmart: what do users think?

amanda orza: Extremely disappointed. I called yesterday regarding the Easter bunny photos for pets and was told I did not need to make an appointment and could just walk in. Never was told that there was a place online to book an appointment. I called again this morning and was told that if there was no more availability online I could go in and stand in line but if someone showed up with an appointment they would go before me. Naturally I understand that. But it appears that after waiting for half an hour, each dog takes about 10 minutes taking a picture (which you have to take yourself) so after waiting for a while I realized that there would always be a pet with an appointment. My message to this location is to communicate better and let staff know about online bookings. This is extremely disorganized and unprofessional. I used to love coming here but the lack of common sense is too much to ignore. I look forward to taking my business elsewhere

Angela C: First time going to this location and I was surprised on how clean, organized and helpful was the staff. I went to return some left over supplies I purchased at another Petsmart for a fish tank that I didn’t use. I went to the store because I always go to the target in this shopping mall. So I decided to ask questions to the cashier about dog training, grooming etc since we are waiting for a puppy. She was extremely helpful explained everything and did recomendations. She even called another associate I think the manager to give me info on the training. I was very surprised because normally in other stores they are not that helpful and are always on a hurry. She gave me information about Bandfield the vet services there and the convenience of taking your pet there. I was really surprised and will define give it a try to this Petsmart for any of there services.

Ernesto Cuba: This PetSmart is by dadeland station, and it has a Banfield hospital on it which increases its usefulness by a lot, their staff is friendly and the Banfield doctors are nice to talk to, you can trust on their diagnosis. Best of all is most of their staff are bilingual, they talk both English and Spanish so you can go there feeling like they care for you :)

aShipmate: Worst experience with a groomer we’ve ever had. We have a sheltie. They’re long haired dogs so we know it takes time. 8 hours though? Dropped off at 930 am picked up at 530. He looked exactly the same as he went in didn’t trim his paws, nails, ears, butt, chest, groin. The big trouble areas. Barely even smelled better. I am submitting a claim for a refund. Their staff seemed ignorant of this breed and possibly others. Don’t come here if you have a dog breed with any amount of hair.

Christina Rodriguez: We took our puppy (miniature schnauzer) for their grooming services. We were very pleased. She looks so cute. Marcella was so sweet and patient with our puppy. She did a great job!

Robert Salvador (Robert): Nice looking store and great products but not the best management.

Christine Rose: I was going to rate it 5 because they have Marti, the only skilled person able to apply soft paws on cats in Miami. But now I give it ably 1 star because they just changed their policy and won’t let staff do any grooming that requires 2 people. Boo!!!!!!! Change your policy back to let Marti continue helping us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dana Lawrence: The associate who checked me out this morning (a woman with short hair) was so warm and genuine that I had to leave a review. She was very kind - asking questions about my “baby” (dog) and just so sweet overall. In a stressful time she really helped start my day off on a really nice note and I’m very grateful.

Alexander Burg: Nice little pet store downtown.Great grooming services too!

Andrea Leon: JJ!!! Cant thank you enough, to you and your crew for always taking care of Skye. My vet was amazed by her cut. Very detailed. She KO’d as soon as she got in the car loll. Skye loves it there, thank you❤️‍🔥.

SHAWN WILLIAMSON: I’ve been coming here for 5 years. Our puppies are like our daughters. It’s very hard to trust others with them as you can imagine if you’re a pet owner. JJ is always accommodating, the staff always friendly. I’m not biased, I’m not related to them, I don’t hangout with them. This is a real assessment. I was in today telling them how great and easy they make their service. Not forgetting the other important part, the service is awesome. I can see our puppies are groomed consistently perfect. Definitely recommend coming here.

Candace Metoyer: I am so happy I found this place. The quality of food and treats is amazing. This store really has everything. Grooming is amazing too. I took my fur baby in for her first groom ever today. She has some separation anxiety and I was worried about leaving her, but she had so much fun with the other dogs, and was so happy when picked her up. Highly recommend this place.

Luiz Cent: My pup Lua always comes out clean. $40 for a sanitize & wash.

David Galeano: Best place to take your fur children!! JJ loves dogs and treats them really well. Definitely come here if you want your dogs taken care of the right way

Jonathan Smulevich: Hands down, it is the best pet store and groomer in Miami for dogs! My pup Zoey couldn’t be happier or look better than after she visits them.

Dimitri Katsabanis: I have a mini golden doodle and this place is fantastic with her grooming! They also have a great selection of food, toys, and are very helpful with whatever I need. For those of you living in the downtown, midtown, or Edgewater area, I highly suggest bringing your dog to Animal Crackers. You’ll leave here happy with your best friend looking stylish

Kai Carey: Extremely nice staff. Clean environment. Handled my cat with care. I love how they fully explained treatment options before conducting them so that we could come up with a plan best for my cat, but also financially feasible for me. Also reasonably priced.

Luis Salas: This clinic was very professional and responsive that it made this very painful time so meaningful for all of us. Luckily, we were able to book an appointment that same day we called to put our 15 year old Dalmatian to sleep. Dr. Jessica Prats was the vet that completed the euthanasia and she was so respectful and kind and made this process less stressful for my dog. They explained everything as it happened and gave us plenty of time to tell Pongo goodbye. They have a private cremation company that made this difficult time a lot easier for us. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone needing this option to honor their dog.
Response: Hi Luis, we are very sorry for your loss. Thank you for finding the time to give us a review while you are grieving for the passing of your pet. We truly appreciate it.

Marina Dias: I took my puppy Dakota to Grove Animal Hospital this week for her 2nd round of shots and check up. When we got there, they already knew the name of my puppy and they were waiting for us. They were friendly and professional. The consultation was great, my puppy did not even feel the vaccine (Thanks Pedro for distracting the dog!). Dr. Jessica was really great and listened to our concerns and responded to all our questions. The results for the lab tests were given to us in 15 minutes. Also, they follow up next day to check on my puppy. The price was fair and the place is spot clean. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who love their pets and live at the Grove area :)
Response: Hi Marina, thanks soo much for the review. We truly appreciate it and we are glad you had a pleasant visit. We look forward to seeing you in the future.

Kelly Ryan: DONT BRING YOUR PET HERE. First time I brought my dog in they convinced me to switch her food to one they sell (weird) and also convinced me of buying a “necessary” vitamin for my 6 month old dog: made her sick for 2 weeks. When I brought her back they made up every excuse but no answers. I gave them a second shot when my dog had an ear infection and they recommended: a shampoo and conditioner/ear flush/ear drops/2 rounds of pills for 2 weeks/eye drops/eye flush!! Really?! When my bill came and they realized I’m fully insured they said “oops we made a mistake” and came back into the room with an extra $275 on the bill saying “they forgot a charge”! SCAMMING MY INSURANCE. I paid the original bill and left. Received a call from a man claiming to be the owner swearing and yelling at me saying I stole $275 from them!! I would never suggest dealing with this scam vet! Go walk in and tell me they care about their business the place is gross. Stay away
Response: Dear Mr. Ryan Kelly, A veterinary-client relationship must be built on trust in order for us to work together for the health of your pet. It is apparent that we did not have that, and we hope you have found a provider that better meets your needs. Unfortunately, your interpretation of your multiple visits seems to differ from the record. We wish you the best in the future.

David Valdes: What a joy to have found this place. They are absolutely different than the test of the clinics big or small. They treat my dog with the same love as I do. Their facility is spotless and it looks more like a regular hospital than an animal hospital. I love how clean, organized and well thought out everything is. The prices were fair for the treatment my dog received. I fully Recommend this place for any animal service you may need. They are amazing.
Response: Thanks David for your kind words. It is our pleasure to help. Thanks

ASPCA Community Veterinary Center: what do users think?

Barbara Greger: Wonderful place and staff was very supportive in the care of my cat Smokey when I took him in to be neutered. They also placed a chip to be found if lost, gave him a bath and flea and tick control medication to control parasites for a month. I highly recommend ASPCA

Roxanna Ballentine: Awesome customer service! Beyond fair prices, depending on your situation/address discounts for public assistance recipients, but the care is beyond 5 star, white glove service! They care for your pet, give them the best treatment, take their time and give your pet the best care possible. If it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be able to afford to bring my dog to the vet regularly, but when you have an emergency, they make room for your pet and take care of everything at the same time. Doctor comes out to talk to you regarding your pets care and needs. Any regular clinic would charge hundreds, even thousands, which is why many people do not get to take their pets regularly or at all! Thanks to the staff here my dog is happy and healed! LOVE IT HERE!!!

Briana Marie: Getting an appointment is impossible. I called on Thursday and waited 40 mins to be told to call back the next day. I called Friday and waited 50 mins to be told to call back on Monday. I called today, Tuesday, and have been waiting 90 mins so far and nobody has picked up my call yet. The recorded line tells you that wait times are longer because of COVID but it’s truly ridiculous.

kitty Spellman: Really nice. They took really good care of my doggie.she went in and came out happy. Got her shots for free.really greatful. Update someone stole are doggy. She was last seen at Alton road animal hospital December 1st. We were on our way to pick her up there. They let our doggy leave the state with some rich people "who spent a lot of money there. We need a lawyer. Help

God,'sgrace12 Godsgrace12: Dr Hawkins is such a beautiful lady and we appreciate her services and the staff for helping our animals within our community. Dr Hawkins did a great job with my two dogs thank you Dr Hawkins. I pray the best for you and all your future endeavors.

Jens Mack: The vets and employees here are so great, friendly, respectful and sweet. It is located in liberty city although not around the best neighborhood but if you live in that area the services are free. I have taken my dog twice now, and they always end up providing meds for her at no charge.

Pet Lovers Animal Clinic @NW 7th St: what do users think?

Claudia Diaz: I can’t attest to other types of treatments. But I can attest to the fact that this vet and the techs that work there do not know what they’re doing when it comes to fractures. We took our dog after she fractured her distal radius. First they recommended surgery, then they recommended to wait 21 days since it was a non displaced fracture and see if maybe it would unite and heal on its own. They put a cast type of thing on and bandages and told us to go back every 10 days. She’s my parents dog and my parents don’t know any better, they’re not vets though that’s why we go to a professional, right? However, these “professionals” did not even shave her before putting on the cast in order to be able to check for skin integrity. She had surgery two days ago, prior to surgery they shaved her and the surgeon found burn wounds in high pressure areas from the cast (pictured). We got a second opinion, and indeed they should have shaved her in order to check for skin integrity periodically. Our dog has probably been in pain for so many days due to their negligence. Your job is to heal dogs, not to make them suffer more than they already do. Shame on you and count on the fact that I am reporting this clinic. When I called the clinic they had the audacity to tell me that those wounds were not burns, that they were from the initial injury. That they don’t shave the dogs legs prior to putting on a cast because “some owners don’t like it”. I didn’t realize that owner preference was a valid excuse for negligence. If anything, leave it up to the owner but it should always be done whatever is medically necessary. They told me to bring the dog in person because they wanted to see what it is. (because obviously they didn’t catch it from not shaving her leg prior to putting on a cast). No, I will not bring my post-op dog who’s greatly in pain, only to waste my time with you while all you care to do is defend your ego. I’ll simply go somewhere where they actually care for dogs and will help her. If you love and care for your dogs health and safety and want things done correctly, go elsewhere.

Alexandra Espino: I felt like my entire visit was pointless. I went in with concerns and the vet barely heard me out. I had to explain myself a few times before he finally believed me. I went in with concerns about my dog having a UTI, and I felt like he brushed me off completely. However, the staff itself was friendly with me. I won’t be going again though.

Alvaro Hernandez: AFter taking my dog to ANOTHER vet in hialeah, i decided to get a second opinion so I went to pet lovers animal clinic off 7th st. The ladies on the phone and in person were very attentive and eager to help, once the doctors saw my dog they performed other test that were not done at the other vet. They determined he in fact did have a UTI but upgraded his medicine, felt much more comfortable at this place. Hopefully I dont have to bring my dog back but the spot is where you want to take them!

WhatsUP Doodles: This clinic is spotless !! Clean and the excellent customer service.. Vets wre very professional and kind.. Prices are reasonable too!!

Belinda Wilson: Very caring and professional staff. They love what they do and they do it right with a positive attitude. Thank you for taking care of my cat.

KS: I love this place. The vets and staff are very kind and caring. They make you feel like you’re family and want to see your pet healthy. They don’t push excessive procedures or tests and allow you to decide based on your pets needs/your financial ability without any pressure (which is appreciated). Prices are reasonable too. I will continue driving 20 miles to this clinic for my babies!

Sebastian Evers: Complete negligence in putting a cast on our dog. Went into surgery (at a different place) and the surgeon was shocked at how blistered she was from her not being shaved prior to putting her cast on. Shame on you guys

thor bastos: As a pet hospital is fine but the heartless business side is horrible, trying to sell merchandise and basically PAY PER VIEW to people who have to put their dog to sleep just so they can be with their pet in the last moments is lowest I have ever seen. Not complaining about the staff but in the veterinarian world business are business.

Mel Castro: First time coming to pet lovers. I did not have an appt but still was seen. Very polite and welcoming atmosphere. Very affordable as well. My rosie will be coming back

Petco: what do users think?

Natalia Acosta: It is a good store, whenever I visit through, I usually dont many animals up for adoption, so if you’re looking to adopt another petco would probably be a good choice. otherwise its a small but well stocked store, i usually go to get cat litter from the big refillable display they have

Chris _: So today walk in and I needed help David best employee btw helped me and told me everything I need to know about bearded dragon. He told me what to feed it and how to maintain it and all the amazing facts best customer service he deserve a raise 👍 best customer service

Andres Garcia: I have been coming to this petco store .I have been a customer for so many years the store is very nice and very clean. Always with so much over stock the personal are always very very helpful thay are outstanding. The store manager is amazing this is the store to come in Kendall I hope this comment helps ather pet owners. Petco. And ther team thank you from Andres j. 7/3/2022

Sil: As a frequent customer of petco, i must say that the staff is friendly and the items i seek for my cat are always in stock and the food for my ferret however the rug at the entrance smells like urine and its very disgusting this needs to be removed immediately. also the restrooms at this location are disgusting. also the fish section always had dead fishes, which should be cleaned more often as my child gets sad when we go and she sees so many dead fishes in the tanks.

arelys zerpa: This store does not honor your money, I sign up for training lessons for my dog over the pandemic they never contacted me for cancelation or say they were offering the class under the circumstances the case is they wont consider my money as credit for something else I lost over $100 I believe is poor management and unethical to take customer money. The manager Michele gave me the mosto ridiculous excuse comparing the store with paying clases on college.

Oliver Solorzano: I really like the fish care that the guys in the fish section give. Also puppies up for adoption on Saturday mornings are awesome. My girls love going. If you find this review helpful in any way please thumbs up the review! 👍🏼😉

Sharon Miniello: The employees were helpful in more than one way. The cashier was fast and efficient

Melissa Dee: Grooming service is horrible. I had been taking my dog here for over 5 years with Jesus but he left and the groomer who took us his place is LAZY, unprofessional and rude .

Omar Pena: Dog grooming is great, not cheap, have to explain in detail what you want up front

Aileen Soto: I (Barro and mom) want to give mad props to Kristin for taking care of me while she did my nails and ears, as they call it a pawdicure. I am an old man at almost 14 years old and somewhat anxious, but she took care of me. I mean look at me can I get anymore handsome!! If you live in the area I definitely recommend this store!

Cherry H: This store is large and grand, reminiscent of a pet costco, lots of things on top of shelves you can look upwards at, incredibly pleasant. Was cursed by a white and grey spotted cat (not pictured), I was admiring the exemplary fuzzy quality of the cheek he had pressed to the glass, when he rose his head up, looked me directly in the eyes, and muttered a curse in a tongue I could not quite understand. I wanted a picture of him, but fearing for my immortal soul, I did not risk it. The two kits watched my doom in silence. You can tell the orange tabby is heartless.

Ashish Soni: I used to make all of my dogs grooming appointments here but the last two times they cancelled my appointments just prior or at the time of the appointment. The reason for the cancellations, both times, the groomers decided not to come to work. As my time is valuable, I have decided to either have mobile groomers come to my home or use Petco since I never had any issues there before. I would suggest finding a different place to groom your animal as the quality of services at this location has declined.

Joshua Hamann: This a nice store but relatively average. Nothing is exceptional and the check out lines can get to be longer than I think are acceptable. If they had a self check-out and more people on the floor I think it would make all the difference in the world.

Gringo In Peru: Easy to find layout lots of options and friendly staff. I got some things for my cat but saw happy people with their dogs new hair cut.

Sergio Mauri: I take my dog for a bath every now and then. My dog is usually happy when we come to this store because he always end up with a new toy. Update today 11-Jun-2022 09:50 I am expecting a call from the store manager. I will update in a little bit

Dade County Health Department: what do users think?

Shyanne Cabrera: I am extremely upset at how disrespectful and rude “Gabriella” was to me. I called my local health department for more information on what should my next step be since the COVID-19 testing site in Amelia park was closed today at 3pm and my testing appointment was scheduled for 3:30pm. I asked Gabriella if she could give any information on why it’s closed, or if there is any other testing site near me that I can go to. Gabriella, who works at this HEALTH DEPARTMENT told me “I don’t know anything, we don’t do testing, We don’t have information about that, i don’t know what else to say, I can give you a number and you could call them” she then stayed quiet on the phone for a few minutes and I told Gabriella the information she just told me was not any help to me at all and I asked her to provide me the number. GABRIELLA THEN DISCONNECTED THE CALL. I called back and Gabriella picked up the phone and I told her “I was just speaking to one of your representatives and they hung up on me and I think it was you”.. Gabriella had the audacity to ask me “was it about the coronavirus question, yes I spoke to you but you told me I was useless” I automatically interrupted Gabriella and I explained to her that this is a serious situation and to provide me with the phone number she was going to give me earlier and I also told her I will be calling back to speak to her manager. Gabriella didn’t care and again with the attitude and a slick remark, She said “wanna talk to her now I’ll transfer you” When she transferred me, I spoke to her supervisor Patricia who completely Apologized for Gabriella’s unprofessional attitude. Patricia provided me all the information I needed and was able to search all of the testing sites in Hialeah. She sent me an email with all of the information I needed and asked for, Thank you Patricia for being so courteous. I would have never thought my local HEALTH DEPARTMENT would have employees who show no remorse to their clients. I am going through a tough time Seeking for this coronavirus test. Not only did Gabriella DISMISS my concerns for my own health but she did let me down emotionally, Gabriella made me feel as if I didn’t have anyone else to turn too regarding this situation. I felt as if I couldn’t trust my local health department.

VCA Knowles Central Animal Hospital: what do users think?

Rafaela: I took my dog after a health scare to Knowles Animal Clinic and couldn’t have been happier with the decision I made. I had never been to Knowles and must admit that when I looked at the reviews, I was a bit skeptical but decided to go regardless and again- very glad that I took my dog there! The front desk was so attentive from the initial phone call and checking me in. Dr. Barry Goldberg treated my dog and was extremely compassionate, professional, and helpful throughout the entire treatment. I cannot say enough good things about his guidance and professionalism, as well as Pauline, the vet technician. Pauline was amazing and super sweet during the difficult time my dog was at the clinic. She went above and beyond to assist me. Unfortunately, I had to put my dog to sleep, but the care and treatment he received at Knowles made the difficult process go smoothly. I am very grateful to those at Knowles who helped my dog and gave him the best care for the short time he was there.
Response: Rafaela, thank you for taking a moment to share your thoughtful review. Our hearts once again go out to you for your dog's passing, and we appreciate you giving our team an opportunity to support you through this difficult time. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything at all. Sincerely, VCA Knowles Central Animal Hospital

Marie Bertot: My dog ate a small mango without me seeing her. I didn’t know what was wrong as she was vomiting and shaking, and so dehydrated. Dr. Lantigua knew there was an obstruction in her digestive system. She pushed for me to leave her overnight for fluids and meds. that would help her pass it. Gigi, a 9 lb. Pompom passed a mango seed the size of a silver dollar. She saved my dogs life! I highly recommend this place. I’ve had more than one good experience and this time, Dr. L saved my baby’s life! #forevergrateful
Response: Marie, we were grateful for the opportunity to be there for you and Gigi during your time of need. Thank you so much for your recommendation, and please know we are here for you if you need any additional assistance.

Andrea Koch: So happy I brought my little pup here! The staff was extremely sweet, professional and truly cared for my dog. They saw him immediately and kept me in the loop of things. If you ever need an emergency vet or regular check up I truly recommend this place!
Response: We're so happy you brought your pup here as well, Andrea! Thank you for your kind words, and please continue to reach out whenever you need anything.

HeyItsAmandaJ: Let’s be real, I know that all vets are expensive. However, in my personal opinion, these prices are very fair. This animal hospital is excellent, the staff and doctors are amazing and they provide you a 5 star service. I have been coming here for 8 years now. I know many people complain about the price because I know economy is tough, but I rather spend my money here where I know my dog is going to be treated and cared for by amazing professionals. Dr.Nova is amazing btw. Thank you for everything you did for my dog and for always giving me updates and helping my family be at peace while my girl Lily was there.
Response: Amanda, we are proud to be the ones you trust with your dog's well-being. Thank you so much for your kind acknowledgement of our team and services. We're glad that you felt comforted when Lily was here, and we encourage you to let us know if there's anything further we can do. Sincerely, VCA Knowles Central Animal Hospital

Kevin Seger: I never would have thought that when there is a serious problem with my pet I called this vet clinic and they told me they aren’t taking my dog because is not an emergency. How can they say is not an emergency when they haven’t seen my dog. They just told me to call some other vet. How is this clinic 24/7. It is sad to see a company in the same district that voted for me saying this kind of stuff to customers. The values of this company is extremely visible that they do not care for our pets. This clinic should be extremely Not Passionate. For sure not recommending this vet for my fellow friends.
Response: Kevin, please know that we are working harder than ever to serve as many pets as possible at a time where the demand for veterinary care is at an all time high. We care about all pets and sincerely apologize if you came away feeling otherwise. We hope you can understand the need to prioritize the most critical emergencies. Please contact our team at [email protected] so we can discuss this with you.

Jorge Artamendi: This is the ABSOLUTE WORST 24HR clinic. I arrived at 6am with an emergency. No one was present at the reception, I waited 20 minutes to be acknowledged. Finally I was checked in an hour later. The tech advised me that the Dr. would arrive in 10 minutes. Only to be told 20 minutes later that since I was a walk in the Dr. Would not see me until 10am. Didn’t realized I needed to schedule In appointment in advance for an EMERGENCY!!!! Wasted an hour and a half of my time and my dogs health. Why call yourself a 24hr EMERGENCY CLINIC if your not? WASTE OF TIME! If I could rate zero stars I would!
Response: Jorge, we make every effort to assist our clients as quickly as possible. It's unfortunate you visited when we had an extensive wait time. We are disappointed your experience with us did not have the outcome you had hoped for. If you would like to discuss this further, you are welcome to email us at [email protected] Thank you.

Brickell Bay Animal Hospital: what do users think?

Carina Gonzalez: I’m so glad Mia is the good hands of Brickell Bay Animal Hospital with Dr. Perez. She’s a happy and healthy girl thanks to the doctors and all the staff. Can’t wait to see them again in the next dental . 100% recommended! Mia will start the diet soon Dr.P
Response: Thank you Carina! We love you guys and are so thrilled you love Dr. Perez--we think she's pretty amazing, too! :)

Stephanie W: I absolutely love this hospital! I had recently moved into a new condo and I realized my cat, Pepper, was very lethargic, crying in pain, and limping. Worried I took her to Kendall Animal Medical Center, they took x-rays -and had a radiologist review it, they informed me it was just inflammation & to return in two weeks because it could be a *possible* infection. I really wasn’t satisfied with that answer as I knew my cat seemed to be in really bad pain. I did some research on top quality veterinarians and ended up finding Brickell Bay Animal Hospital! My first appointment was amazing! I saw Dr. Minnigan and right away she diagnosed my cat with pododermatitis! I was able to see my poor kittys paws bleeding and oozing from some abscesses on her paws. Dr. Minnigan instituted a great treatment plan and took such amazing care of her; it was so sad to see my cat in so much pain but with each day, she got better and her paws are perfectly healed! I can’t thank Brickell Bay Animal Hospital enough!!
Response: We love you guys Stephanie and are so glad Pepper is doing well!

Elia Ximena Rass: I have 2 French bulldogs who at least once a month need a vet visit for allergies or tummy aches. Have been bringing my babies here for almost 2 years now and they are the absolute best. Offices are clean, wait time is non-existent, they are always ready with a clean & fresh room for us to be seen in. Have never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen after check in. They always run any necessary tests, have results same day, and truly care about your babies.
Response: We know everyone's time is very important and we work hard to stay on schedule. Thanks for the review--we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts!

Rocio: After visiting many veterinarians in the past. Brickell Bay Animal Hospital is absolutely my favorite. They truly care about your pet and are very professional. The hospital is very clean, the staff is super friendly and their prices are very reasonable. Thank you everyone for taking care of my puppy!
Response: Thank you Rocio! This is a such a nice review! We're glad you're happy and we are always willing to do what it takes to keep things that way! :)

JT B: We absolutely love the doctors here. We have been to many vets in the area and we continuously come back here. They are professional, courteous , and caring. They do get very busy and the front desk can be slightly hectic, but the doctors and nurses are top notch. Note that they are not open on Sunday.
Response: Thank you JT B! We appreciate your kind words!

Elizabeth Jordan: Since I’ve moved to Miami, unfortunately both my dogs have had a multitude of issues they’ve needed treatment for. Luckily a friend recommended BBAH and they’ve been amazing. Dr. Tak always takes the time to talk over all the options, do a thorough assessment and give us pricing before we agree to treatment. Highly recommend.
Response: So glad we can help you guys Elizabeth! Dr. Tak is wonderful and we certainly appreciate your support. Thanks for the beautiful review!

Natalie dePasquale: We just moved from NYC and had the same great vet there for 10 years. We were so nervous about finding a new one in Brickell. Thank goodness for this place! They were super friendly and professional, seemed thorough, not rushed, on time, and like they were intelligent and also cared about my cat. Answered all my questions and called about the blood work results the next day. So relieved to have found this fantastic vet center in Miami!
Response: Thank you so much!

The Pet Emergency Room: what do users think?

Elsy Gonzalez: We had quite a scare with our Shih-Tzu, Cookie where she was having difficulty breathing but she was so well taken care of by the staff here that they really helped during a difficult time for me. After an overnight stay and continuous follow-ups from the doctor and nurses, our Cookie did a complete recovery. Thank you so much to the girls who really provided comfort - even as I ugly cried from the scare. Here’s Cookie a few days after returning home - back to her neighborhood watch gig!

Silvia Porro: I thank you for giving Buddha emergency care, round the clock during what turned out to be his final days . I am grateful. Thank you for being there for us and keeping me informed regarding his medical needs every step of the way. I believe that is the definition of comprehensive care.

Susi Albarran: THE WORST PET HOSPITAL IN THE WORLD. MOST DISHONEST AND CARELESS. DON’T TAKE YOUR PET HERE EVER. We brought our dog for an emergency c-section at 8am and they kept us waiting until 2pm without informing us that they had no vet to perform the surgery. We had to find another vet hoping that neither the dog and puppies die. The most stressful situation that could have been avoided if they had been honest at the beginning. This shows their lack of professionalism and care for their clients and their respective pets. Terrible.

Bina Maison: My kitten was not treated with the medication and options discussed with me. I waited 5 hours at lobby with no news. I finally said something and they told me kitten was only on oxygen all those hours. Tried to charge me $3,500 for hospitalization quote for 2 days. I left with kitten looking and feeling worst than when I arrived. Still had to pay $900 for inconclusive testing. Traumatic experience to say the least.

Aurora Miguelez: Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability, Responsiveness, ValueThree years ago, I had the worst experience there. On Dec 10, 2021, I found a new team, profesionals all the time. Dr. Simon, and Anette saved the life of my loved dog Casper Torres. Thank you so much. And thank you to Dr. Prosêk, that brought Casper more time to our lives.

perla: Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability, Responsiveness, ValueAmazing and fast customer service. Before coming, I had a horrible experience with another clinic and once I arrived here, they quickly took care of my dog and treated her fast no matter how late it was. 100% recommend!! They were super friendly and professional :)

VCA Brickell Animal Hospital: what do users think?

pilarh36: This place not only charges an obscene amount of Money for their services, but they also have the rudest front desk people. Calling to get help is a nightmare!! They think is ok to put someone on hold for 10 minutes!!! And they yet don’t understand why I’m upset after waiting to get someone to talk to. Lastly, I took my dog for a musculoskeletal issue, the vet gave a 14 year old a strong antiinflamatory agent that caused severe colitis and bloody diarrhea, I ended up paying extra $2000 to fix her mistake!! I’m taking my dogs somewhere else!!
Response: It's concerning to read your review. We want the best outcome for all our patients and would never want you to feel let down by our services. In order for us to better address your concerns, we encourage you to email us at [email protected] Thank you.

mus. cagri ozsan: I started coming here since 2016. I was not very happy with the services they provided and the higher prices they had. However, the doctors were good and caring in addition to it being the closest to my house, I didn’t look for others. I came here this Thursday to get a travel certificate for Morocco. It took me 3 hours to get my dog examined, get the vaccine, and the papers done. Although it’s still a lot, I understand since we did not have an appointment and we were received as a walk-in. After getting everything done, on my way to the car I opened her passport and thankfully saw that the employee had dated the vaccine to 2017 instead 2018. Thankfully I saw it, otherwise I could have had a lot of trouble in the airport. Since the last page of the travel certificate must be signed 24 hours or less before the departure time, so they scheduled an appointment for Saturday at 4:30. Once I got to check-in, I was told that I needed to wait up to 1 hour approximately since I did not have an appointment. Now, because of one of your employees mistake why do I have to go through the consequences ? Why not try to fix the issue? There’s no customer service at all. The doctors are good and nice, there is nothing to complain about. Most of the employees are unprofessional and need immediate training !! Do I need to mention the stress that my dog had been going thru during all that loooong waiting time?! Now think about it for a second you have less then one day before living the country, you’ve got everything planned so there’s a specific time that you devoted to your pet’s exam. You go to their office, tell you have an appointment and it turns out that the lady forgot to note the appointment. So all your plans get ruined :/. After all that happened, I think I’ll give a try to the veterinarian in Brickell Bay because this last issue was so frustrating. Lastly, please do not attempt to write an apology message, you’ve already done that verbally about twenty times, and it does not help fix anything. Please try to be more professional so that things like this do not happen to future customers.
Response: We're disappointed that read of what you describe, as our intent has always been to provide professional and helpful assistance to all our clients. We apologize about any delay or misunderstandings that may have happened and ask that you reach out to our hospital manager at [email protected] so that we can allay your concerns. Sincerely, VCA Brickell Animal Hospital

Paola Villalobos: I love taking my dog here! Everyone is super friendly and my dog LOVES everyone there! (Which is always a good sign) Prices are fair. Zero complaints. They have early and late appointments which helps a lot!
Response: Paola, we're really honored to know that you not only appreciate our staff members, but enjoy bringing your wonderful dog here. Our team is always more than happy to be of helpful service to you, and you can always depend on us for anything you might need. Sincerely, VCA Brickell Animal Hospital

Mauricio Garcia: I had a terrible experience with VCA. If you love your pet, I recommend staying away from this vet. In my opinion VCA is far from being a hospital and much less to attend emergency situations. My dog had a bad accident a few weeks ago which was hitting very badly by a car. After the accident I bring my dog to this place for emergency evaluation and treatment. After the initial evaluation, the doctor gave me a list with the treatment they said the dog needed at that time. Including fluids, oxygen, pain medication and x-rays. The total amount was about 850 dollars or so. Unfortunately, I only could cover a partial amount at that moment. I specially asked the doctor; “in your medical opinion, what treatment you consider as a priority treatment according to the circumstance? X-rays or fluids and oxygen camera? Please do the best priority treatment first while I get the rest of the money for the additional treatment if needed. The doctor recommended fluids and oxygen first instead x-rays. I particularly complained with the doctor; I told her: “my common sense indicate that the x-rays show a better situation than fluid and oxigen. Don’t you think so?” How come the doctor can determine a treatment without a visibility of the damage. The doctor insisted to do other treatment first (Pain medication, blood test to see if he was bleeding inside the body and oxygen) for 2 hours and see how the reaction will be. After a few hours they sent us home with the instruction to keep watching the dog and if we detect something abnormal, we should go to an emergency room and do the x-rays. Once I arrived home, I noticed my dog very bad and I made the decision to go to a 24 hours emergency room. At the emergency room the fist thing the doctor did was the x-rays. After that, the doctor told me that my poor dog had an internal damage very difficult to recover and any treatment will be unnecessary; the only possible thing to do should be a surgery but the possibility to survive was less than 1%. I had to make the difficult decision to authorize the euthanasia and let my dog die to avoid more suffering. If VCA l had recommended to do the x-rays first as a priority treatment, my dog would have had less hours of suffering. None compassion from VCA at all. I feel their main goal is charge money as much as possible with inaccurate treatment accordantly. Again, my dog was hitting by a car; it was really more important to do oxygen treatment for 2 hours and fluids instead of x-rays? Is too difficult for me to understand why they didn’t prioritize the x-rays first to determine what treatment or fluids the dog need if so. In my point of view, I see two issues here: 1- They prioritized a wrong treatment under the circumstances to charge something and finish the job asap. I’m not familiarized with the vet protocol under an emergency situation but this, was totally irrational decision. 2- They sent us home at 4:42pm. They close at 5pm. I’m felt they wanted to finish the treatment fast to go home. I am aware that doing x-rays as a priority treatment would not save the dog but, the doctor would have realized that the damage was more serious that they assumed at the beginning. I am so frustrated; now, my dog suffered for a long time and I am still suffering asking myself too many questions; why the VCA didn’t do x-rays as the priority treatment. So sad Answer to the VCA comments: You really expect me to believe in your response? Please do not insult my intelligence. You don’t have to be so smart to understand that you assumed an inappropriate treatment because you didn’t prioritize the x-rays. So, you insist that you did the right treatment? Is hard to believe.
Response: Mauricio, we know that you're hurting following the passing of your beloved dog and our hearts all go out to you at this time. This is surely a difficult time and you have our full support in this regard. However, we'd also like to convey that we care deeply and are committed to being very informed and proactive about making sure that the recommendations and services we provide are appropriate at every stage of the treatment process. We realize you're frustrated and would appreciate the opportunity to follow up with you about this. Please email our hospital manager at [email protected] Sincerely, VCA Brickell Animal Hospital

Jeannine Gutierrez: Terrible experience! I AM A DOCTOR. THIS “Doctor” is clearly overworked and lacks professional ability to care for large amounts of patients at one time. My cat was throwing up all night so I decided to take him in as an emergency to this hospital. The front desk person told me to take him in at 11 AM. I dropped him off, they told me they would call me but they left me waiting in the parking lot for over an hour. When I finally realized that they wanted me to go home and then I would pick them up later, I went home confused, thinking that they would have called me to ask for his history at least. Five hours later I get a phone call from the technician asking me what the history of my cat was. That means that my cat was there by himself for five hours before someone saw him! Then the doctor calls me two hours later to tell me that my cat needs over $1000 in treatment options or diagnostic testing. Then the doctor tells me that I need to make a decision whether or not I should sedate my cat for X rays since he was being uncooperative. I’m sure my cat was uncooperative because he was there for over 6 hours alone and scared! She only gave me 15 minutes to make this decision. When I tell her how upset I am with her treatment plan she tells me that this is an emergency and I can’t wait to make a decision about him taking x rays. If it was such an EMERGENCY WHY DID IT TAKE YOU 6 hours to decide to do anything!!! Very unprofessional! I myself, am a physician and do not condone this type of treatment of patients whether they are humans or animals. I could have just kept my cat at home to be comfortable and taken him to another vet. If you care for your fur babies. Take them somewhere else. Good ridden to this awful clinic.
Response: Jeannine, we're disheartened by your review. We can assure you we'd never want any pet to suffer needlessly and we are truly sorry for the long wait you experienced. It's also crucial that we always do our due diligence when it comes to matters of a highly sensitive nature like this and can promise you that our team truly has the best interest of your cat in mind. We'd like to further discuss your concerns with you and ask that you please email our hospital manager at [email protected] Respectfully, VCA Brickell Animal Hospital

Mark J. Whitehead: Critical: Valuethey really know how to charge and sell up their services sounds like a lawyer. charged me $9 a pill for what chewy charges $2.50 and billed me out the wahoobring a big check book and as usual they dont follow up or care just give me money .
Response: Mark, we are disappointed we did not meet your expectations and we welcome the opportunity to speak with you in more detail about your concerns. Please feel free to email our hospital manager at [email protected] Thank you.

Miami Downtown Development Authority: what do users think?

Depeche Mode: Impossible to accomplish anything in this office, the reason? All the workers are women, all of them from the ghettos of this country or from Central or Latin America. So... what performance do you expect if they came from families with no education nor values? It is frustrating dealing with them, they will not get your ideas, they do not know what to do, they are clueless by just about anything. I spoke to one of them in private, someone with a rank, and she told me: I can not trust anybody in here, they all stab each others back.

Reality Check: A bunch of women with no idea on how to do anything, looking to get a commission from vendors. The only way you can do anything in here, is by knowing someone inside. Otherwise they will ignore you.

Pets & Vets Animal Clinic: what do users think?

Teresa Marrero: Firstly I would like to say I was going to leave such a great comment before this happen when I brought my cat back for her bandage change. She had surgery on her right ear to begin with when I came home after her second visit I don’t know if the lady who assist the vet doctor doesn’t know what she’s doing or it was late and they wanted to leave not only they did a horrible job wrapping this around her but they missed the other ear completely and wrapped it in the wrong ear a waste of y time . And my poor cat was bothered on top of the fact that I called and showed the pics he the vet tells me what happened what u mean what happened this is how u returned her to me I didn’t notice till I got home really nonsense . I’m very disappointed. On top of that the medicine for her ear they didn’t even tell me how to apply it . And didn’t returned it to me as wel disorganized to me . Oh and now her other ear is probably messed up .

Nikole Dagna: I adopted two cats in 2019 and have taken both of my cats to pets and vets since. I would notice weird scenarios but due to my lack of experience and knowledge with pets I stayed. I took my cat in for an appointment yesterday due to her gingivitis. This vet has already given me 3 different types of medications that never worked. I decided to agree for surgery in our appointment yesterday for a full teeth extraction. In the moment I was so concerned with what was soon going to be happening to my pet that I didn’t realize she was never weighed, or had her heart listened too like in previous experiences. I called today to mention that they didn’t weigh her or check her heart or touch her stomach and the vet got offended and canceled the surgery, and said “if you don’t like it go somewhere else”. Once again, I’ve been going here for three years and it feels like I’ve been retaliated against because I called to inform them of a mistake made by THEM, not me. I also mentioned to them that it felt like after we talked about expensive surgery, that was that. Since my cat was supposed to get general anesthesia for her teeth I figured knowing her weight is essential right ? I never said they were unprofessional (which I could’ve said easily), I just called as a concerned cat parent who’s baby has a big surgery coming up. I guess the universe works in mysterious ways, and I’ll take the vets decision as gods way of saving my cat from his hands. This whole situation seems bizarre. Maybe he was having a bad day? Very weird for a vet to cancel service because I picked up that they missed an important step in the visit, in which we pay $80 for. I also think the universe has a funny way of working because I just read a review that the same antibiotic he gave me yesterday to prep for surgery, almost killed someone else’s cat. Be careful with this vet.

Charlotte Muir: Dr. and staff incredible regarding care of our cat with stage four kidney disease. We experienced exceptional care. Charlotte

Elise Fable: So many good thing to say about them After seeing a lot of vet in miami, they are really the best of them, the big difference with the others is in this place they really care about your pet ! During visits, they check everything , they are professional and very friendly My great dane was very and they care of him with so much compassion They really deserve 10 stars at least

Alma Betancourt: Excellent service and unbeatable attention. Dr. Andreu is super knowledgeable and explains everything with details. Super clean and nice employees as well. Fully recommended.

La MENCHA: The worst vet place in the USA. Only interested in your money. Always misdiagnosed my dog and others i spoken with felt the same. There is a long line wIting even if you have an appointment..meaning they take more patients than they have time for. The many people there doesnt .ean they are the best, what it means is there is not another vet around here. Take your pet elsewhere if u love yr pet.

Johnny Rojas: Like family, your pet will be on good hands my eternal thanks to Dr Javier

Kate Lee: In and out. Love. Happy and care.

VCA Alton Road Animal Hospital: what do users think?

Troy K: Dr. Anamercy Martin is great!!! She did more for my pets than the first two vets (not at VCA who wasted time and $$$). The staff is great and friendly. My cat was really sick and when I called, they had no appointments available for about a week. I emailed the the Dr and she took her dinner break time to see my cat the same day. For my sick dog, I would email the Dr all the time (with photos and so) and she would promptly respond as we tried to get to the bottom as to what was making him sick as we tried different meds to help him.
Response: Troy, being there for our clients when they need us is very important to our team, so we'll always make every effort to help you and your pets. Thank you for sharing your positive feedback!

Spyder O'Neil: I just moved here 4 months ago. My bully has hip dysplasia with prescription dog food, allergies with prescription meds, and came to me abused which has a slew of behavioral hurdles that also has prescription medication, I also travel once a month or so and don’t know anyone here so I needed somewhere to board her. So I needed to find a regular vet down here in Miami STAT. Thankfully, VCA Alton Road checks all the boxes. Let me tell you…. The people at VCA Alton Road treat her like she is their own. They get excited to see her, they’re sad to see her go, and they really pay attention to her and her needs. I’ve seen them greet her in packs with smiles, open arms, and excitement in their voices to see her. They give her back to me in groups with soft hearts to say their sad goodbyes and I can feel so much GENUINE love and care in the staff for her. That goes really, really far for me. My dog was heavily abused when I picked her up as a puppy. She’s afraid of everything and everyone but has a heart as big as the sun. It takes her a long time to warm up to people and she’s never liked going to the vet…though it took a few visits, she is okay with the people there and will now leave me willingly without having to coax her or pretend to walk with her like I did before. She’s never achieved that with any vet. Last visit she even walked to the scale on her own without needing to be lead to it! I love this place and the staff within it…and so does my dog, Keeva, which matters most to me. Thanks for all you do!
Response: Thank you for your heartfelt review! It's reviews like yours that remind us why we do what we do! Our team loves being able to help care for Keeva and treat her like she's our very own. Please know we'll always be here for you!

Daniel Villa, AIA: Would recommend- My girlfriend and I took a cat that lives outside of our building. We made appointments but had to cancel twice because we had trouble catching the cat. The staff was very understanding about the cancellations. Finally we took her as a walk-in. The doctor was super friendly and easy to connect with, and the staff was very good too. The waiting room is comfortable and the patient room we were in was nice- clean and comfortable.
Response: Daniel, we appreciate the recommendation and you sharing your experience! If we can provide any additional assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out.

lex hem creates: My senior dog had a wonderful experience at VCA! Dr. Owens is an awesome vet. She’s kind, shares her feelings about the best treatment- couldn’t ask for a better experience. The staff was friendly as well!
Response: It's great to hear that your dog had a wonderful experience with our team! We appreciate your support very much, and we will be here if you need any assistance in the future.

Gabrielly Kasperavicius (a_kasper): I have been there quite a few times. My last appointment was very stressful for my cat. She is 14 years old and has a few issues already. I went to run blood test since she had been having some trouble breathing, eating and going to the bathroom. They changed her previous doctor (without letting us know or asking if we wanted to change doctors) who had been with her many times before and my cat enjoyed her presence. The new doctor, who was inexperienced, spent about 5 minutes in the room with us. When she took her to the back, they tried to take her blood 4 times (without my consent to try more than once) and were unsuccessful. She did not give us any explanation to what could be wrong whatsoever. The staff was very inexperienced. I left without even being able to know what was wrong with my cat. I called about two days later asking some questions and was left on hold for about 25 minutes with no response. The front desk never knows the answers for whatever I ask and always has to rely on someone else to answer me. Again, very inexperienced. They never return my calls. I will reach out to over vets and find a better place to take her.
Response: Gabrielly, we do not take your disappointment lightly and appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention. We would never want your cat's visit with us to be stressful and are always striving to offer the utmost helpful service. If you are open to speaking with our hospital manager about this in more detail, please send an email to [email protected] Thank you.

Helpet Veterinary Center: what do users think?

Julia Sim: Absolutely love Helpet! They were recommended to me by a friend after I had a poor experience with another vet. My dog Winnie sees Dr. Rivas, he is wonderful, every time I have come in with a concern he has listened to me and spent time to really understand what was going on with Winnie. We love the rest of the staff as well. they are incredibly kind and go out of their way to make both of us comfortable while at the office! Thank you.

JILLIAN: So I just moved here and needed to establish a new vet. Found them on yelp, all the reviews talked about the entire experience. I had full mouth dental cleaning under anesthesia plus some other surgeries and I have to say. Dr. Rivas is absolutely dedicated to his work and it shows how he treats our pets and his staff is super kind, friendly and efficient. I would HIGHLY recommend them and just grateful I found them just few blocks from my new home. More than 5 star, Dr. Rivas is exceptional Vet. Thank you Helpnet and Dr. Rivas. Grateful for all of you.

Chris Morris: From reception to the vet assistant to the incredible vet I was so pleased. They took their time. The vet seemed genuinely interested in my pet. Just for a first time visit with my now year old cat, I was a bit nervous but everything was upfront and overall a very pleasant experience. Thanks to all involvedx

Sylvana Palacio: Deserves 10 stars! I’m so thankful to have brought my cat here. The experience is always pleasurable. Dr. Rivas and the whole staff are attentive, communicative, caring and trustworthy. They act with skill & wisdom and take you & your pet’s best interest at heart. There aren’t enough adjectives to fully describe the level of care they give here. Originally, I went to a different vet who rinsed my wallet, gave my cat 3 different medications within the span of 12 days & told me surgery was the only option to fix my cat’s “constipation”. I found that absurd and looked for a 2nd opinion which led me to Dr. Rivas and I’m so glad it did! He had a completely different opinion and suggested we put my cat on a bland diet first and sent home some anti acid medication. After a few days, he was completely back to normal and we haven’t had a single issue since (this was in August). Do not hesitate to come and give your pet the best experience. They will be in the best hands and the best care! When people love what they do, they do it well. I can confidently say that to be true about everyone at Helpet :)

Angel Pittman: Super caring, compassionate vets! Our puppy has been terribly sick and they have been really great with her. Thanks to all!

Brenda Carolina Holmann: Highly recommend Dr. Valentina Henao! She genuinely cares and loves animals, which definitely shows in her quality of work and dedication. Dr. Henao has such special care and attention to detail with my precious fur baby, treating him as if he was her own. She is very thorough and takes her time to explain the diagnosis and treatment plan to ensure that my puppy is in good hands with the best care. Dr. Henao is also a great communicator as well as in her follow-ups, which provides tremendous peace of mind. I have been bringing my puppy to Helpet since October 2021, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have found Dr. Henao, who is by far the best vet! The staff at Helpet is also nice, the place is very hygienic, everything is very efficient and technologically advanced. I also love how all the documentation (e.g. estimate, final receipt, medical records, etc.) is emailed to you without having to ask. Wish I could rate higher than 5 stars!

Dana Tran: Amazing vet clinic! Everyone was super helpful and super sweet. My puppy also really enjoys everyone who works there as well.

VCA South Dade Animal Hospital: what do users think?

V: We brought in our much loved pet ferret of 7 years, Dr. Torres and all of his staff genuinely were compassionate in the care they gave her. Unfortunately, her illness was too advanced. Dr. Torres never hurried us in our decision, on the contrary gave us all the time we needed to say our good byes to our little Angel here and now in Heaven. From the bottom of our Heart, Thank you Dr. Torres and lovely staff.
Response: We want you to know that we're still thinking of you and your beloved ferret. We take solace in knowing that we could help guide you through a difficult process with the respect and support that you deserve. Thank you for sharing your heartfelt words with us. Sincerely, VCA South Dade Animal Hospital

M C: I think that so far they’re pretty awesome. I am very thankful for meeting Dr. J Harris to care for my African Grey and diagnose him properly. If you need an Avian vet, SEE HIM first. I am also thankful for Dr. Talavera and Dr. Scherr who have seen, diagnosed, and operated successfully on my 12 year old dog. So far, the attentiveness, communication, knowledge, and professionalism has been great. The staff at front are also very efficient and helpful. I’ve been to many vets as we have always had multiple pets, and being new to the area it was hard to find someone trustworthy and available at first. We are pretty sure that we will stay at VCA South Dade and will continue bringing our babies in to them.
Response: It's fantastic to hear that you are pleased with our service and Dr. Harris and our team. We're grateful for the opportunity to assist with your veterinary needs and encourage you to reach out whenever you need anything.

Erica Verde: This review is for Dr. Don Harris. Dr. Harris is a world-renown exotic animals veterinarian with more than 30 years experience. He is matter of fact, thorough and truly loves what he does. I am very grateful to have him just 10 minutes from the home with my 3 parrots. Highly recommend.
Response: Thank you for your wonderful endorsement of Dr. Harris, Erica! Providing knowledgeable and quality care is something we take a lot of pride in, so it makes us proud to read your feedback.

Aixa v: My bearded dragon was feeling sick 5 days ago and barely wanting to move and not wanting to eat and his back legs started shaking. After seeing Dr. Harris today he prescribed antibiotics, an anti-inflammatory and a meal supplement for my bearded dragon! took him home to sunbathe and he is starting to be more active again! praying that the treatment gets my beardie back to normal again but definitely recommend to take your reptile here! ❤️
Response: Thank you so much for entrusting our team to care for your pet. Please don't hesitate to reach out if any questions or concerns arise.

Alicia Meredith: Dr. Harris and his team are always great with our little Fur-babies. THANK YOU ALL!! Not only does our critters love you, but we do as well!!HIGHLY recommended veterinary care.
Response: Alicia, Dr. Harris and our team love caring for your fur babies, and we are very grateful for all the love and support you've shown us!

Alexandra Leeds: This was the first time in two years that I have been able to take my dog in side the vets office with the vet and see him personally face-to-face. They are an excellent veterinary facility, they treat the animals and their owners with the upmost respect, I would highly recommend taking your pet to see them I’m not going anywhere else but them from now on!
Response: Alexandra, thank you for the wonderful feedback. We are grateful to have you as a client and want you to know that your dog will always be in good hands with our team!

Suzanne: VCA on 6380 s dixie is amazing for exotic pets. This is our first review although we have been going there for 12 years. We have a blue crown conure, and she had a seizure 10 years ago Dr Harris was amazing at that time. Blue just had another seizure, and she is now 31 years old about 90 years our age. Again, Dr Harris saved the day !! We love this place and all the conscientious staff there. Price was right !!!!
Response: Suzanne, thank you for the wonderful show of support. It's been an immense honor to assist with your veterinary needs over the years, and we want you to know that we'll always be here when you need us!

Johanna Mora (Joy): We were immediately helped on the phone and at the location. They gave us aome great recommendations and felt taken cared of our pet. Thank yoü
Response: It was our pleasure to help, and we are so happy to hear that you felt like your pet was cared for! Thank you, Johanna!

matthew bain: i first went to this vet when i rescued my dog in 2020 and they had to cut an ingrown nail...Felt the lady vet was kind of rude but maybe having tough a day. Today i one there to buy the flea tablets and the vet would not sell them to me because i have not been there in over year. So this confirmed my initial thought of the vet in 2020. What kind of doctor or vet uses visit blackmail in order to get flea medicine there. I will never go back to this vet due their rudeness and arrogance plus not willing to help my dog that got fleas.
Response: Matthew, we understand your concerns, but when it comes to any services we provide, even as it pertains to prescribing medication, it's regularly necessary on our part to seek an up-to-date exam. We ask this of our clients to make sure that we have a very accurate idea of a pet's exact health profile at all times, which can determine the way we might approach certain services and situations. It's unfortunate your expectations were not met, and if you are open to speaking about this matter further, we ask that you please email our hospital manager at [email protected] Thank you.
