Ichimura Miami Japan Garden: what do users think?

Levi For Waifu: Rather small and somewhat limited. Absolutely did not fill the 1:10 we planned to kill here. About as calm as you would expect it to be.Fish but no food dispensers, but they leap even at leaves in the water, so I guess it evens out.

Michael Bolgov: Amazing recreation of the traditional Japanese garden. Very beautiful. The photos will explain.

Leonard Sosa: My family went there for the festival. It was a nice place. I would see my self come here to relax and think to my self on my off days.

Nen Travel: Nice peaceful place, but very small. You can walk entire place in under 20 min. Chill spot if you just want to disconnect from the city for a few minutes.

Emma Yin: My boyfriend took me here it is a beautiful place very tranquil and peaceful.

Ekaterina Spiridonova: Very nice and peaceful little garden. I spent there an hour or so and there was only me. You can meditate or even do a yoga.

Rocio Mendoza: Terrible experience! Its full of poisonous animals and its not maintained. Not recommended.

Matheson Hammock Park & Marina: what do users think?

Patrick Alam: Great spot to relax has everything a park can ask for. Marina, beach pool, restaurant, park, trails kite surfing. If you have kids the beach pool is perfect. They have life guards and provide bathrooms with change rooms nearby.

Tricia Diaz: Beautiful park on the water. Nice atoll natural pool for families to safely swim surroundied by groomed sand. Fun to watch kite surfing to the north with view of downtown Miami and Key Biscayne. Easy parking except when tide is in and lot partially fills with water. Clean nice restrooms. Great Red Fish restaurant with Chef Adrianne was exceptional. Very fresh fish entries ($$$), variety of appetizers and good drink menu. Amazing views from bar and outdoor tables. Rooftop tables are probably open when it is warmer. A lot of great photos on here. I will add some from after dark. Beautiful drive to get there through expensive neighborhoods with amazing and unique old Banyan trees!

Desiree Arenas: Secluded area but beautiful scenery with kayaking available along with other water sports, cleanliness, lifeguards on duty. Can’t wait to go back!

Bella Ruiz: An incredible place, with a spectacular view of Miami, the best place to find peace, breathe fresh air and enjoy board sports in the sea.

John Paul Neal: Great little spot to park and walk around take in the scenery. Had a beach and a restaurant

Gisselle Ginarte: Park has great views. Good for biking, running or relaxing. The inner beach is a good option for the small ones.

Roxx Lynee: A Very beautiful and peaceful sandy beach with a wonderful breeze and makes for a beautiful picnic day! Pity swimming was prohibited on this day.

beautiful world: Place was nice. Parking was around 7 for the entire day

Jungle Island: what do users think?

Renee Benaim: Attended the Candlelight concert series here. Pop on Strings. An amazing, romantic evening! Very organized event. Parking was $20 and right next to the Bloom Ballroom where the event took place. Food and drink are available. You order and pay on your phone and items are brought to your seat. Seating is separated for social distancing.

David Shusterman: This is a good place for a drink at the beach. We just rain is with lifeguard station. This is a nice bar area in a very Caribbean table well. The dress very good though I didn’t eat any food there.

Emilio Olan: I came for a tribute to Queen by Candlelight concerts. Done by Liteso string quartet. The venue was presented by fever. They have an app and you can find their information online too. The venue offer beer and liquor and assorted healthy and not so healthy snacks. The ambiance and environment was relax and pleasant. I would recommend whole hearted any events presented here at Jungle Island Events and any fever event.

Alicia Ostenson: I think this a great place to take kids. Did not partake in the theme park portion, more just the animal portion. It was still interesting as a few adults, as the vibrant amount of plants are very pretty and the amount of birds they have is quite grand. Did as part of the Miami go pass, which was definitely worth it. Saw a bird show, which was also great.

The Kampong, National Tropical Botanical Garden: what do users think?

Kailey Rinder: Really enjoyed my visit to the Kampong today! Beautiful variety of plants, sweet & helpful people working there, and lots of benches to let you sit & enjoy the view! I will definitely return! FYI: You have to reserve a time in advance (easy to book on their website) and then you’ll get information on entering the gated garden at your time slot. The reservation system keeps the place less crowded than many nearby attractions. Note: Be prepared to walk off trails and in dirt/grass so dont wear your favorite white shoes!

Tom Yee: Great place to meander amongst exotic plants for a couple hours. Check their website for admission fee cost. You have to use the call box at the gate once you arrive.

Danielle Hurst: My boyfriend and I visited the gardens. We spent a little more than 2 hours doing the self guided tour and enjoying all the plants. We particularly liked some of the exotic fruit and plants such as coffee that we do not see in Wisconsin! We even got to see a couple of manatees in the water! Overall an excellent visit :)

Jessica Shin: A slice of lush tropical jungle hides in Coconut Grove where it feels like a privilege as the red gates open to a long driveway to the main house. They have almost every tropical plant you can imagine and then some surrounding the house. My favorite sites were the pool and The Point, featuring a solitary palm tree and a balinese bench overlooking the water and surrounded by mangroves while the neighbors have neutered their land to build boat docks. The gardens are a peaceful hideaway amidst the highrise Miami landscape. I do wish the guided tours were available because there is probably a better story about the property than the gigantic self-guided flyer. It was cumbersome to flip back and forth between the site map and the numbered locations that I discarded its use after 10 minutes.

Michael Lelko: This place is absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend visiting if you are in the area. My wife and I were blown away by the scenery and it was extremely informative!

Jennifer James: Nice bay front botanical garden. Took scooters from Grand Ave straight down Main Hwy and has a nice bike lane to keep off the roads. House is only open for guided tours. Self guided is fine.

Bulan Purnama: My faveret spot in Kampong 💖 can see Miami beach from here!

Miami Friends of the Japanese Garden: what do users think?

Patricia Ryland: This was the first time I was able to attend the beautiful light show at jungle Island and I who would have to say it was absolutely amazing. Is the minute you could definitely do need either a significant other, a date night, or even meet with your family members. I highly recommend it but it was definitely worth every penny.

Elizabeth Guzman: Very nice place to come and see a lot of different species of animals, totally recommend the aviary theater show. Very interesting and fun. Going on a Monday was awesome because there was no people almost which it was great!

Julius Bridges: A great experience! Had a blast in the family friendly atmosphere. Went for the luminosa event and the lights were stunning and well crafted! Would like to see more of the pathways with stable ground (stroller accessibility) but overall it was a great time! Would look forward to it again maybe next year.

I R: Staff Friendliness ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Prices ⭐️ I asked for FL residence discount, the girl said there weren’t any . I asked about an adult paying full price and child free , she said show me coupon. I said I’ll look for it . She’s like ok forget I can get it for you . 40$ extra to take picture with lemur 🤦🏼‍♀️ but they won’t let children take the picture or pet them without an adult; but the adult has to pay another 40$ 😂😂 that’s ridiculous !!! A lot of “pardon out dust” signs . So much under going construction it’s hard and very confusing to get around

Cynthia Enriquez: Luminosa was beautiful! They held my carseat (we took uber) and we easily rented a stroller. Finding a drop off and pick up point with uber/lyft was a little challenging.

Hannah Schobert: Really relaxing an tranquil place. Me and my family had a nice meditation time on our own.

Makky Richard: Nice place for relaxation and to reach zen level calmness.

Julia Demin: nice beautiful park, suitable for walks with a stroller! the park has a mini zoo, pink flamingos, turtles, parrots, monkeys, various birds! there is also where to eat, good music and live music! good for evening walks with your family! Do not forget the cream from Mosquitoes !!!

marc HENOCQ: Very friendly. There was a Chinese lights festival, it was beautiful

Eric Bellins: Amazing 😉 nature park. So peaceful and relaxing 😎 not busy ever. The park is all shade. They close early so u want to get there before 4pm. They have restrooms 🚽 and staff always on site. There’s two entrances at this park. One ☝️ off the road and another in front of nature center.

Luis Gonzalez: Beautiful enclosed park but the hours are horrible its less than working hours for normal people. To go there you need to have a day off from work.

Aiby P. Florez: Beautiful place to connect to nature and disconnect from the noise and movement of the city🍃🦊🏵🌳

Jorge Sarduy: Nice walk, what happen to. All the big Koi fish?

Alexandra Hirschhofer: It is very nice little park .feels like you walking through woods . very nice pathway and pond and rest area. Its great when you want some peace and quiet!

Pedro Manzanillo: Beautiful park, nice history that I did not know about Miami, and the most important the trees, smell nice like been in a jungle. I love it. I took my seniors class for a field trip, and they love it, specially the employees they are very friendly and knowledgeable.

South Pointe Park Pier: what do users think?

G J: Serene and refreshing! Gentle morning breeze and the slow moving waves with turquoise color water brings peace to your mind! Perfect place for meditation and awesome ocean views .constantly moving boats and cruises doesn’t cause any interruptions to your inner peace. Rock bridges on both sides adds beauty to the landscape. The boardwalk itself is very well planned and laid out nicely. Love this place! Slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the city , this place is one of my favorites in this city. Come and enjoy the serenity of this place!

Steven Díaz Zalduondo: Spectacular views with a peaceful breeze! This pier has one of the best views in South Beach. From this point you can look at the beach and the buildings at the same time. They have some benches and a water fountain at the end of the pier. We also liked the art at the entrance of the pier. I recommend to go early in the morning when the Sun is not that bad.

Nick D: Very picturesque location. Good sunset location. So many people walking up and down the path leading up to the pier. Even saw a dog park in one of the areas. There is public parking available at the entrance to the South Pointe Park.

Yakup Content AI Manager: Such a beautiful place to stay for a while and enjoy the amazing sun of Florida and the ocean! It is clean and everything is relaxed; even if many people are here it is a great place to come and enjoy the sun! Definitely worth trying it! Just be aware that you have to look for a parking slot in the neighborhood!

Mallanagouda Patil: This is the end point of south beach in Miami. When you take the sea side walk this is the end point. It has got beautiful view of south beach and also amazing view of the downtown and Miami port. They are building one big path on the sea with rocks that’s in progress. Apart from that they already have one view point which is already built. There is also south pointe park where you have children playground and splash pad too make you cool. In the park there is small shop to get ice creams and other stuff. This is beautiful park and must visit if you are in a south beach.

María Fernanda Sánchez: Great for an evening stroll. We were not able to go into the pier but walked along the promenade and saw some beach cats hanging by the steak house. It is busy with lots of families and folks on bikes and skates, even in the evening.

Anna Svistunova: An amazing place with beautiful park and very clean beach in Miami. There are all needed services for rest with comfort. The south Park is good for families also because it has safe beach line and shallow entry into the ocean. Highly recommend it to visit!

Suxant: The pier is simply stunning. Located at the southern tip of the humongous Miami beach. One can pedal or walk to this beach across the Miami beach coast. The view is spectacular. The magnificent buildings at one side and the beautiful Miami beach on the other side. Simply a visual treat. This is a photographers paradise. There is beautiful park right next to this place. This spot is very well connected by public transportation. There is also a citi bicycle pick up station at the entrance of the beach. All in all, a must visit place.

Dragan Ange: The walk around the south point of South Beach is very beautiful with a gorgeous view from the pier. You can see the entire length of the beach. Rent a bicycle or have a nice walk/run. There is a place to buy some refreshments on the hot sunny day

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden: what do users think?

Mr Toca: Went on a day trip with my best friend to show her a nice time definitely the kind of place where are you can spend the day commune with nature and truly have an experience. Anyone can go to a restaurant but spending time around nature while having some delicious food at the garden restaurant was totally worth it followed by a trip through the butterfly sanctuary. Parking is a little difficult so if you do get there and noticed there is no parking I will go inside and let the front desk know so that they can open up the back parking in the low lands. If you do park in the low lands you’re better off when it’s time to leave going out through the back exit by the lake so that you can be closer to your car as there is no entrance into the lower lines from the outside without a code. Looking forward to taking my family there tomorrow for the chocolate festival.

Liuvys Perez: Great place for the family! We came for Easter 2022 for the first time and enjoyed our afternoon strolling through the gardens together. Our almost one year old got to practice his walking and our teenagers loved the butterfly exhibit. My favorite part was the "rain forest" and as a plant enthusiast, my husband liked the rare plants the most. One of our favorite gardens in South Florida so far!

Corey Goldman: I came here on a Sunday with my girlfriend and it was so pleasant! They also offer student discounts which is nice. They also have a covered butterfly exhibit that you can spend some time in and walk through. The place was clean and also has a place to eat if you get hungry. It’s a beautiful place to walk around and it’s pet friendly so bring your dog with you!

Pranay Gandhi: Amazing collection of plants!! The Lego creations were amazing. A large botanical garden with a broad array of flora from around the world. Walking paths lead around the park for a leisurely walk through this tropical paradise! A beautiful butterfly park is a must see!

Fernando Vargas: By far, one of the best private parks/gardens. Very open and friendly. Have fun and mind the plants. There are not too many rules like the others. The wife and I stopped many times to sit on a bench surrounded by beautiful scenery. Some of these locations would be off limits I parks. The staff were amazing.

Xiomara Rivera: We visited the garden on a Saturday (5/21/22) and we loved it. There is a lot of different plants to see. Also, the area where you can see the butterflies is well design and peaceful. The trails are good. There is an open space where family can gather. Also, they have cafes where you can have something to eat and drink. When we visited there was also a food truck, a sparkling booth and an icecream booth. There was also a Lego Exhibition which was amazing. I really recommend to visit this garden.

Lawrence Wolofsky: Beautiful grounds with many surprises and views. There was also an exhibit of wildlife and garden-related Lego creations. We spent about 3 1/2 hours including a tram tour of the property and lunch. Very pleasant and highly recommended.

McDonald Water Park: what do users think?

Belquis Garcia: Mcdonald water park it is the most clean and organized in the city Lifeguard on duty always alert on situations and staff in general very kind of the public City of hialeah park of recreation the best on Miami

Laiz Alvarez: Over crowded and old. There was only like 20 floaters on the lazy river for over 100 people in the park.

harley ferro: The pizza combo was good but the chips taste rancid . This place doesnt brake your bank . You can have a good time with your family for just a few cents .

Elizabeth Valentin: We had a really fun day. Woman this is a family park dress accordingly. Everything was perfect, we had a Great Day! Definitely will be back.

Jeanna Edouard: Didn’t actually get to experience the park. My first impression of the outside was that it looked better and bigger in the pictures but we were still excited for the water. I didn’t like that we had to drive all the way there (an hour out from us) just to pay the deposit. Then received an email two days before the party saying that they may have to cancel our party Saturday (today) because of a hurricane that may not even hit until Sunday-Monday. When we called to clarify, they said they would let us know for sure on Saturday depending on weather, rain or thunder wouldn’t close it, but that combined with heavy wind would. That was a sigh of relief. The day before the party, about 30 minutes before every park closes, they sent out another email saying they will be definitely closing. Mind you, this is after news reports showed Dorian possibly completely missing us. I’m still waiting on the refund. As I type this, it’s beautiful out and I’m livid that I’m not in the water enjoying my sons birthday party. I would have appreciated more than just a refund after time/money wasted and having to relocate his whole party to a different location that did not have water. We’ve lost a lot of people who were supposed to come due to this unexpected change and all they could offer is a “refund”.

Nickeles Kern: The floor made me and my friends feet hurt a lot

Mariana Sabogal: It was fun and the food was great

gabriel rodriguez: Nice place to spend the afternoon with the kids. Never too crowded that it feels claustrophobic. Cheap for Hialeah residents

A.D.(Doug) Barnes Park: what do users think?

Maafin Paafin: A good place for family picnic, and afternoon and morning walk. The park has a walking path around a big lake, and facility to do some exercise. There are couple of nicely maintained areas. Kids can play in the playground. Overall, this a well maintained family-friendly park to spend quality times.

Mr Toca: AD Barnes has such a lush landscape with so much to do. They have a section for covid testing being done by nomi and they have NO LINE. The park has a nice eco trail with a small water fall, a diverse botanical mix where plants are cohabitating and growing within one another. They have a fire pit that is available for reservations and a permit from the park and a nice structure to see above the park. We saw many families walking around and it seemed that lots of single dads were with their kids.People were out playing basketball and the park is very central bird road near the palmetto. Additional to the plant life, the animal life is extremely visible. Tons of bugs, fish, turtles, butterflies, and unfortunately even cats. Note if you are looking to adopt a cat on the street they have a few there just roaming around. It was nice to see where the original Ludlam train used to ride by. Highly recommended for a great day out.

Leo Guerra: Hidden gem! Nature Center, beautiful walking trails, basketball courts and a playground and a waterfall! Well maintained. COVID testing also available during the pandemic…

Pooja Subhashchandra: I love the pond and the tall trees. It is peaceful and serene. There is free covid testing too. There is a swimming pool, play area for kids and outdoor gym facilities for adults. But I mainly go here to breathe in the nature amidst the chaos of the city and to ground myself while looking across the pond and the birds.

Alejandra Cadenas: This place is beautiful and clean to take good pictures! The kids really enjoyed. I will go again for sure..

faith41018: Park is nice to see iguanas, also turtle in the water and beautiful fish and birds. People do not take care of it and there is trash in the water at the edge. Also at least one area that has shelter and deck by water is falling apart and looks unsafe.

Jose Rovira: This is a great park. It has tons of open space, a swimming pool and a nature center. We took an archery class that was tons of fun. I highly recommend this park, especially on the beautiful, sunny, cool days in the winter and spring.

Sabit Karayev: One of our favorite parks in Miami. It has everything for a family. Playground for kids. Nice shelters for group celebrations. A canal and benches. A long enough trail for someone who wants to take a walk. I saw people sitting and fishing near canal, which is nice. Overall review is positive

Coral Gables' Granada Entrance: what do users think?

Yura santos: Love this place, great places to take memorable pictures. As a photographer I reccomend this place.

A.J. Franklin: Great place for pictures. I would recommend to any photographer who likes a portrait photography.

Aleyda Mariñez: Coral Gables Prado Entrance For years the Country Club Prado Arch has been a setting for photography. One often sees professional photographers at this site, and it is a favorite for wedding photos. There are two walkways covered by wood trellises providing interesting detail to the arches. Also, the structure is located on a center parkway running north and south which is similar to a piazza. Custom homes are located on both the east and west sides of the linear parkway. This beautiful place is also registered in the National Register of Historic Places.

Hilda Schau: I like this spot kind of mystical and the beautiful doors. I dont like the new gray lamps, they do not look vintage and look as if they are made of plastic. They do not match. 😒

J. R. Pollo: Not as picturesque and versatile as the Prado entrance a few blocks west on Red Road, but still nice. The Prado entrance is a good alternative to Vizcaya.

Miguel Sahid: Great place to take pictures for your wedding or Quinces, Spanish vibe, great restaurants around, Diego tapas y Roma Bakery

Sam Fern: Gorgeous place. Best to visit right before sun down to get the nicest shots!

Cira: This is a beautiful place to take photos.

Pedro Gomez: Very good nice room the. parking

Venetian Pool: what do users think?

Liz LaRosa: Such a fun experience to do in Miami! Although it does get busy at times, the pool itself is huge so it never feels too crowded! There is a smaller “beach” area to relax, as well as areas around the pool. Lounging chairs can be rented for $7 as well. Food was your typical snack shop foods (chicken tenders, fries, hot dog, etc.) and took a while to actually get. I would eat beforehand if possible! Overall, a great experience to go do in Miami if you have never done! Not sure if it is worth it to go again and again, but for the experience I would go at least once!

Holly Mann: We had an excellent time at the pool. On a Thursday morning to mid afternoon it was relatively empty. The caves would close and then reopen every 30 or so minutes. While we personally did not try it, the food smelled delicious (especially for pool food!). Lounge chairs can be rented but there is free seating as well. Plenty of shade, too. At this point in the season they are charging less than what is lost online (for non residents). I would recommend checking the prices at the ticket booth when you arrive and oursading directly from them or online at that time.

Brandee Smith: Wonderful place to spend the entire day! You can bring your own food and drinks, but no coolers, alcohol, or glass. They limit how many people can enter per day so I suggest getting their 1st thing!

Josie Jose Olivas: Love this place. The water is not heated, a little cold & chilly, once you get use to it, not bad on a hot humid day. They have chair rentals if you come early, for $ 7, you can buy tickets online or at the window. They have a sand area or a non-sand area, tables and umbrellas to eat at.

Phil Tatro: A real life Oasis right in Coral Gables!! Fed by an underground spring water aquifer, this pool is over 800,000 gallons! Drained and refilled every other day, with only 1 gallon of chlorine added, so almost like swimming in a clean, sterile lake, and oh, so refreshing! 2 waterfalls, grotto like caves make this a unique pool unlike any other. Tropical, lush landscaping, plenty of shaded areas with umbrellas, picnic tables and trees make a great spot for a picnic. Numerous areas with sand, wading pool, and benches. Locker room with showers, and lockable storage. On site snack bar as well. Numerous life guard on duty. Just a relaxing spot.

Joann Rosales: Family vacation from NJ to Miami. We decided to stop by this area and try out the pool. The entrance was a bit pricey for the size but parking was a pro. It’s rare to find free parking in Miami. Very nice experience. I would definitely recommend this place to others that come out to visit.

Oliver Solorzano: This is an amazing Landmark. A safe, welcoming, comfortable experience for south Floridians. Enjoy a man made cenote, cave like swim, waterfalls, layout on the man made soft sand beach, enjoy a lunch, and plenty of pool water. 👍. Highly recommend this small paradise.

Yojana Rodriguez: Venetian pool continues to be a staple of my summer experience. Coming here since my YMCA Summer Camp days as a child, to counselor, to a mother accompanying my own chidren on their on trips. The beauty has been preserved, still clean, still cold, still fun. You should make it a part of your summer experience too. Cheers to almost being 100 years old ❤️💯

Had we realized what an amazing place this is, and how wonderful the boat tours are, we would have booked multiple days for Biscayne National Park. I highly recommend the boat tour, and I hope to do snorkeling and kayaking at a future visit.

Leeny M: Easily my favorite little hike in Miami. It has beautiful views and good people watching. When you’re done, one of the best restaurants are near by.

Jeremy Janus: Biscayne National Park was the best surprise of my entire trip to Florida! The park is mostly underwater which I was perplexed by until I took a snorkeling trip out to the mangroves. The mangroves were full of fish and wildlife and were so much cooler to experience than I imagined! The tour guides at Biscayne National Park Institute made the snorkeling experience amazing and I highly recommend booking a tour through them!

JETS: Fabulous park that has nature first in mind. Enjoy all sorts of water activities and there’s plenty of miles here to do that! Use the Biscayne National Park Institute to get out to the lighthouses or to get in the water kayaking.

M.K. Productions: Loved this park! We did the sailing tour and it was definitely worth the money. We were also able to paddle board and snorkel. A must stop if you are in the area.

A-Dog Bonventre: We spent a couple hours here on the mangrove paddling tour. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable, and the scenery was beautiful. Learning more about the park was fantastic. The mangroves were very interesting, and the water was beyond clear. We also got to see several manatees! My only complaint is not having enough time to visit more of the park. Amazing place!

Wynter Conover: We just kayaked in the bay, but it was so beautiful— Saw lots of birds, and the rangers and volunteers were so kind and helpful. Even went above and beyond to help with my Jr. Ranger badge
