Alex Rojas: Beautiful and professional recreation center. We held our baby shower there with 100+ guest. AC ran perfect, on duty cop was required for the amount of guest. It even had a fair size kitchen with 3 industrial refrigerators that were very useful. Will definitely rent out the space again in the future.
Kelly Apolinar: My kids have been attending the Rec summer camp for years. Friendly staff, clean and safe facilities, lots of activities. During the year they have an after school program that picks them up from the neighborhood school. They help with homework and even arrange for tutoring at a nominal fee. The only draw back is the limited parking.
Oni-Kitsune: My little brother comes back with bruises and no one is supervising him does this mean I can’t rely on them to watch my little brother at the age of 7? Cause when I used to go here they monitor the kids with ease and CALL their parents immediately! They need to fix their establishments cause this is getting out of hand.

Leti44: The attendants at Sports Action run their store better than a 5-star hotel! I went in in a rush looking for very specific Nike soccer shoes for a visitor from overseas, and they were able to not only help me, but also look up where I could find one of the versions of the shoe that they did not carry. Pablo who was at the register was amazing - phoning other Foot Lockers and Champs stores to see if we could track this specific shoe down. A few days later, I received a phone call from a very nice woman who stated they had gotten a shipment of shoes in that I had been looking for and was following up to see if I was still interested. I am just shocked that a shoe store has this level of attention to detail and to their customer. I am going to be recommending this store to anyone and everyone looking for athletic shoes!

wouldnt you like to know: Well, where should I start. 1st I got sushi on my dinner break from work and the waiter wrote my order down wrong.. and when I got the order it was a sushi I dont even eat. I went back to request that they fix the order and the lady at the register tells me I need to "take it up with my credit card" cause they cant fix the order cause too many hrs went by since I bought it. I TRIED to explain I was at work and just could leave to come right back . I was at work! So she went back and forth with me until I had to demand they fix thier mistake. Thankfully the order was fixed but not until they fought me tooth and nail. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS I BIG "0". THE SUSHI SPOT @1800. ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ORDER WITH THEM. CAUSE THEY WILL TRY THIER BEST TO NOT MAKE ANOTHER ROLL EVEN IF ITS THIER MISTAKE

J. M.: Amazing! My kids loves this place. Just look at it yourself! Its so pretty and clean. I usually to with my kids to several parks and this one is one of my favorites. We also visit Margaret Park, Shenandoah and another one in Coral Gables near Calle 8 and Ponce de Leon. But this one is one of my top 5 for sure. Parking available, safe neighborhood and friendly kids. Great spot for summer!

Except it is impossible to get any information about the pool as they don’t answer the phone and there is no specific website with information. So I decided to go anyway, thinking it was open, and wasted $20 on a return Uber journey. Very poor. They need to update the website/google info/telephone lines.

Sam Sahami: I have been to almost all gyms in Miami, and this is by far the best one. Very clean, the people are friendly and focused on working out rather than hogging equipment and taking pics for social media, it has lots of space with two floors. They also have a nice basketball court and great overall atmosphere.
Bryan Russowsky: Love this gym.Staff is nice, great assortment of workout stations and machines, a lot of classes you can take, and it doesn’t get overly full.The price is also very reasonable for what you get.

james taylor: The YMCA of downtown Miami is an ok gym at best. It is not the staff that compels to give this location a bad review, it is the manager and his total disregard for his employees. If not for management i would have given this location five stars due to great staff and amazing equipment but I am forced to give a one star due to who is in charge.
Evelyn Callaghan: I went to this YMCA to see if they would let me workout since I have a membership in my area. A girl stated no problem we will set you up, the male who was not so nice was asking me to sign without letting me see what I was signing. He stated one time free and then you pay. This is not unreasonable it was just the way he did it. I no longer wanted to sign up, too sneaky.

Every employee is amazing specially Phil and Patricia that help me the very first time I went to get information and because of the attention and how friendly they were with me, that make me decide even faster to choose this facility as my gym.. It’s a very beautiful facility and always very clean. I recommend this YMCA.

James Nall: Hidden Gem in South Miami! The facility has picnic tables, Shaded structures, Chairs, Lounge chairs, A splash pad, Bathrooms, Lockers, and on top of that it is a life-guarded facility so you can be at ease knowing you and your children will be safe. This is a great pool to come out and spend time with the family or bring your little ones out to learn how to swim. This pool has a zero depth entry making it easy to get in and out and safe for little ones to play with ease. There are also 4 lap lanes if you wanted to come, workout and get some laps in. Open Spring Break - End of September this is a wonderful place to check out. We also host an annual Dunkin 4 Pumpkins event (Depicted in the pictures attached) where families can come out and dip into the pool to grab a pumpkin and enjoy our local vendors.
Elizabeth Balbin: Honestly I can not understand why a pool in Miami would close from September through Spring Break of the following year. As a lap swimmer, its getting harder and harder to find places to swim, with the few pools available either full when open, or working on shorten schedules. Pretty sad.

My forehand improved a lot since then. I keep reminding myself to swing the racket all the way to my back. We would highly recommand him. Thank.
Gonzalo Figueroa: Amazing trainers, they are really nice and worried about the kids learning. They have patience and love for each student. We already had the experience with four at different levels and they are amazing. Stephanie, Diana, Leo and Eddie are all incredible great with kids and you can tell that other teachers are also too. Great environment!
John Carrascal: Been swimming here for 20+ years! Pool is clean, staff is friendly. Some of the girl life guards have attitudes sometimes. Karina and Frank are the best managers. Also, FIU students swim for free 12 pm-3 pm and from 6 pm till close on weekdays.

Lashonda Johnson: Disappointing to know I live less than 10mins away from here and I brought my kids in 6 and 4 for a quick water fun and they advised me only Miami shores residents, This place is literally dead. And its just a shame. Imagine being that parent having your kids all excited to be let down of why they cannot go in. I guess once they lose enough money, They will let other people in.
Labuby A: I’ve lived in Miami shores for 11 years and hosted my birthday party’s numerous times for both my kids, but this year was completely different. The party was from 3 to 5:30 I got there at 2:45 and nothing was setup, no tables no chairs I had to complain to get them to do it. Once my guest arrived they complained about them not being from Miami shores, which to my understanding Bal harbour citizens are welcomed…once proof was shown they lived in bal harbour the manager said it was fake and that they didn’t live there. Embarrassing my guest and making them feel horrible, every kid that attended that party are my daughters’ classmates from Miami shores Presbyterian school. I can’t believe of all people the manager is the rudest and most disrespectful of the staff. We were even kicked out 30 minutes early because they had an event at 6, which has nothing to do with me and doesn’t meet what I paid for. Apart from them staying with our deposit they treated us good and didn’t meet what I paid for.

Goomba Pizza: AD Doug is just a wonderful all-around park, the best one in Dade, a rare gem in what is otherwise a concrete wasteland of a county. Tons of natural beauty, gazebos with covered barbecues, bench areas with open barbecues, lakes, nature walks, a sparkling-clean heated public pool with diving board and accessible water entry, well-equipped playground, basketball court, sports field... And the park also hosts a nature camp for schoolchildren and a bunch of services for disabled children and adults: group retreat cabins, swimming lessons, sports programs, therapy, etc. Cannot sing its praises highly enough; this place is magical and is my favorite park.

DJ Barros: Horrible!!!! They called me last week on Friday right before the spring break camp started on Monday to tell me the camp has been cancel. The girl said we will refund the money. I am still waiting on the refund. I called today and they told me I needed to find out a form but the rude person that called on Friday fail to inform me I needed to stop by the office to fill out a form. So unprofessional park and how they handle their camps. I will NEVER go back!!!!
Ariel W.: At the end of WWII a new era of prosperity was ushered into Coral Gables. Veterans coming home from the war flocked to Florida to recuperate in the warm climate. This spurned new construction and development. Around this time a group of civic leaders wanted to honor the men and women who served in WWII. They gathered 22 civic organizations together and incorporated an organization named The Coral Gables War Memorial Youth Center Association. Lots on Andalusia Avenue were purchased and donated, and obtained through eminent domain for the project. The youth center opened on December 7,1945, Pearl Harbor Day. It had a baseball field, dance patio, and a small building for summer recreation. Sports and classes were offered for the local teenagers. The original youth center operated for 11 years but in 1955 the city realized that they had outgrown it. The city sold the three acre property and purchased five acres from the University of Miami. A youth center designed by architects Watson and Deutschman was dedicated on December 7, 1956. It contained a curved memorial wall with the names of 1,288 men and women who served in WWII. A star marked the 30 names of those killed in action. The new center operated as a youth and community center for the Coral Gables community. If Coral Gables ever decides to stop funding youth programs at the center it will revert back to the association. On April 19, 1997, the city opened a remodeled War Memorial Youth Center. A 13,244 square foot gymnasium was added along with a fitness center, outdoor lighted basketball courts, roller hockey rink, auditorium, dance studio, child care room, classrooms, landscaping, and expanded parking. A new war memorial garden was also added. Today the Youth Center serves a memorial to the veterans of WWII and to the civic minded people of Coral Gables who pulled together to create a place for the youth of the city. They offer a wide range of programs, activities, camps and special events throughout the year to engage the young people of Coral Gables. You can become a member of the the center which entitles you to child care, use of the fitness center, and reduced fees for programs. What a great resource for the community to have.

Daniela Rendon: Horrible!!! They provide you incorrect information over the phone. They have the rudest customer service including the management. Long story short I’m trying to throw my son‘s second birthday party here at one of the re-creation centers/parks. After calling and verifying all the information to the questions that I provided to one of the representative. I Drove all the way from Sunny Isles down to Coral Gables just for them to tell me that they need seven days prior to scheduling or requesting any events. Please keep in mind that today would’ve made seven days. Manager was disgusting when even let us explain our side of the story very nonchalant didn’t care that we drove or took our time to drive all the way from Sunny Isles to Coral Gables. Disgusting I do not recommend anyone to have the children attend this facility or any type of events.
Rafael Vera: The gym is good but there is no maintenance in the showers.Showers are fealthy of privates hair, wet toilette paper.its obvious that there is nobody cleaning the floors in the lockers and showers as they appear to be dirty from the very early hours until late.Therefore , they don’t get clean. They shall be fined.

Natalie Roque: I had a magnificent experience in Crandon Park yesterday, and wanted to share my story. We were relaxing on the beach, when a friendly employee named Ethan, informed us that he could bring us fresh food and libations, from Open Seas Cafe. Ethan patiently reviewed the many items available, and took our order. In less than 10 minutes, our scrumptious conch fritters, fish tacos, and pork tacos, were brought to us, right on the beach! We then walked to the water, and this amazing worker, brought our drinks to the sandbar! The food was exquisite, and the service was stellar. Ethan kept checking on us, and offering to refill our drinks when needed. We are Miami residents, but honestly felt like we were on vacation. What a glorious day we had, and we owe it all to Crandon Park, Open Seas Cafe, and Ethan. We can’t wait to return to the best spot in Key Biscayne, with the finest service!

The staff at Open Seas Cafe were extremely helpful and welcoming. Attentive and provided great customer experience. Gary constantly checked up on us to see if we needed any help, food, drinks, or extra chairs. A great experience! I will be back next time I’m in Miami!

Gary made everything easy from rentals to ordering. People criticize Miami for its poor customer service but this is NOT the case @ Open Seas here on Key Biscayne. They are polite, helpful, and kind. I would highly recommend Open Seas for its staff, service, and menu!

Hello: Great place for all ages. There is something to do for everyone in the family even the parents. Whether you want to be active or sit down enjoying the fresh breeze under the shade. Also, the water fountain is cold. DEC 2021 UPDATE: Renovation going on, but the park is still open, such as the tennis court, playground, library, and center. The city is renovating the exercise equipment, pool, soccer field, basketball courts, adding more trees and sitting places.

Apryl-Annette Chin: Wonderful, friendly atmosphere for the Children. The Summer, Day and Afternoon camps are well organized and the activities during the year, cater to the interests of those from kinder to teenagers. This YMCA location is professionally administered and all the relevant parties in charge are very accessible and return emails and phone calls promptly.
Pema (PemaCulture): I love the group class teachers, the sports for the kids have awesome coaches, and the facility is always clean. The staff at the Y is very friendly and helpful.

Marc Baumann: Went there for daily swimming sessions during a week in April. Great pool. Not too crowded, nice infrastructure, easy going and friendly staff.
Ana Colon: I went with some friends that are Miami Beach residences. It was a beautiful sunny Sunday there was not one cloud in the sky. My sister and I paid $15 to get in because we are Miami residence. I get in the pool as I wait for my sister not even 10 min later the life Guards yell everyone out there is lighting within a 5 mile. We exit expecting to get a refund like in most pools, usually have an hour and will provide a refund if they close. Nope NOT here the young lady which did not provide her name nor had a name tag. After waiting like 15 minutes as she argued with a Party to leave off the deck that would not listen to her. She finally took my information on a pink post it because there was no managers on Sunday. She said they would contacting me the next day for a refund or rain check. I am still waiting to hear back from them. Staff does not change here. The people change but the attitude is the same.

Great vegetarian option in food kiosk. Really loved vegetarian fish fillet sandwich, and vegetarian chicken sandwich. Entrance 13$ per adult (not resident)
