Lexus IS350 Toyota Made: Bought a r/c car from them recent. Had a issue with it so I called them and they told me to pass by within minutes I was out and enjoying my car. They have alot r/c cars to choose from and great customer service highly recommend them thank you again crown hobbies.

Jonathan Bessin: Had an issue with our RC car and brought it here Not only did Robert troubleshoot our case thoroughly, after realizing what the issue was, he called the manufacturer and was able to replace the broken part via warranty replacement when I was unsuccessful in doing on previous personal attempts. For service that goes above and beyond, NEVER go anywhere else. Thank you, Robert!!!
Devon Mccoggle: Dropped off my hoss to 1 guy who said my car will be ready same day. Never received a call from him that day. Called the next day & truck still wasn’t ready. They store hours are from 10:30am-6pm and they didn’t open till 11:50am on Monday March 14th

Julian Matos: Few years ago came here and purchased a super cub, the person at the shop back then was an older gentleman. He was attentive and informative. Helped me make a decision based on my experience. I felt pretty good when I was there and happy when I left. I recently called to purchase some accessories and the person on the phone sounded very dry and not very welcoming. I gave the benefit of the doubt and went anyways. When I walked in the store there was another customer inside being helped and the person behind the counter seemed to be glad to help him. As I was asked how I may be helped, the way I was addressed felt just like the phone call. As the other customer was picking up to leave, the counter person again seemed glad to help. When it was my turn, I didnt feel that same enthusiasm. I felt somewhat uncomfortable. Hope it was just me overreacting but not too sure I was.

Joey Lombardo: Went into the store last week, they were very aggressively acting towards me and my friend but ended up buying an rc car. Then went home and couldn’t figure out the car so we called them and the guy on the phone was very disrespectful towards me when i couldn’t figure it out he started to yell at me, then proceeded to hang up after he says “when you could figure it out call me back”. Both times in and out of store was zero help whatsoever, Do NOT recommend and will NOT be recommending!

Subaru_ManFL: Best place for all RC needs. I drive from Sebring FL to visit my parents, and I when I am here I drive to get what I need from them. They have batteries and the little things I use on my RC Planes, but they also have full RC model car they are there to serve the needs of the RC Community. Support local small business like this one. They are the ones who give back more to your community than politicians do.
FlickHouseStudios Navas: The guy that was there was not helpful at all. Came in for repairs and told me that my plane was pretty much useless. He was rude. Not helpful. Didn’t offer any solutions. I would never come here again. Next time actually try to be helpful.

Emerio Diaz: I placed a post commenting on this Hobby Shop, House of Power, and I was wrong. there could be a ton of reasons for my dissatisfaction at the time, as well as a ton of reasons on the part of the owner. Every single one of us has had a share of problems at one time or other. I visited the place recently at their new location close to FIU, and I quickly realized that the place is well stocked [despite our present situation with Covid-19], the salesman behind the counter is very knowledgable and helpful and will sterr you in the right direction. I recently bought two rc cars for my grandkids and I am very satisfied with my purchase. Also, one of the specialties of this hobby shop is airplanes, and here there is no better place than this, not to mention that the owner knows his stuff when it comes to planes. Besides all that, for hobbyists that we are, I feel that we have to support our local hobby shops because online purchases are ok, but there is nothing like being there in person, be able to talk to a person behind the counter that will not only help you with your purchase, but will also be there for any problems we may have. I recommend this place, and I hope that it will be there for many years to come.
Response: 1- Your appointment was at 10am, you arrived at 12pm. 2- At all times you are advised as what you wanted to do is not the beginning of a plane of foam (apprentice) since the main thing is the weight (light) of the plane. 3- Part of our work is to repair, to program, to build The fact of buying does not mean that the work is included. In addition to the heap of flames that you did in reference to the APPRENTICE were always attended to. Gerardo Ocando: House of Power caters to the local hobbyist. The store is located right across Markham park which makes it really convenient to all the regulars. Vern, Rob and Matt are friendly and helpful and they have many years of experience in the RC world. Every occasion that I have visited I get a few tips on how to improve my planes from the friendly staff. They go out of their way to make you feel that you are appreciated as a customer. I know I will continue to shop in House of Power for my hobby needs.
Tom Tate: They had the rc airplane parts I needed today. The online competition was going to backorder. What I needed was a new prop and battery. Thanks for being there for us. Love the new place and the new counter guy was very helpful.

Then go above abd beyond and assist you in the field of flight until you are comfortable. Glori is great at getting you what you need and Franco not only does he sell you the product but also sets it up. Very happy with my overall experience and highly recommend.

Made the trip and in person he was just as nice and very helpful, as was who I’m assuming was his wife. Would highly recommend to new hobbyist up to advanced. Alvaro Hernandez: I called last week to see if they work on my type of older DJI drone. Eric picked up, took his time to listen to me and offered help right away if I brought it in, as he thought it could be a simple fix. The next day I walked in to the store and Eric was available to help me. He was eager to get his hands on the drone to see the issue was what he thought, a simple propeller fix. My android was giving major problems with the app and my frustration levels were high. Eric patiently told me how to download the apps another way and saved the day for me. Every shop needs an Eric.

Douglas W. Bush, M.A. (Doug): This DJI dronenerds store and the people who work there are amazing. The store sells the highest quality equipment in drones, goggles, gimbals and accessories you’ll ever want or need. But, the best part are the people, like Louis and Ed, and others there. Very friendly, personable service. Salespeople spend dedicated and focused time explaining different models of whatever you might be looking at, and are never pushy. But, they do like to consistently sell their refurbished products at slightly lower prices too. I have bought 2 drones from them within the past month, and I’m going back here today to buy a gimbal. Parking can be an issue on Friday night and through the weekend so if you want to avoid the hassle, go on a weekday around 11 when they open, each and every day.

Daniela Obregon: My husband and I came in looking for gas powered RC cars and we immediately greeted the owner who didn’t acknowledge us and what seemed to be his son who just stared at us. We were pretty excited to see the store and when we saw the RC car we were screamed at not to take pictures which threw us off. There’s no signs to not take pictures (we were sending it to our family who’s also interested in purchasing one) and it’s honestly really suspicious. If you’re not doing anything wrong then what is there to hide. I wanted to write a review because the experience was so weird
Response: Pictures signs that are not allowed are posted everywhere starting at the entry doors with a sign that has about 20 inches, and hanging from ceilings. What "seems to be my son" is a mentally challenged kid that try to help but within his limitations, you were so stupid not to see that. If you are not knowledge that do not know the COPYRIGHT Laws, that is not our problem. Pictures can not be taken to be transmitted over the internet or any electronic media without paying the royalties to owners of Brands; that is why you can't take pictures. Nobody ignored you and you were told that we do not deal with radio control since about 3 years now, so to what to take pictures?
Ricardo Kasrim: Do yourself a favor an buy from anywhere but here! The owner is rude and thinks he’s making you a favor, and would rather lose a sell and a customer before honoring a discount that they THEMSELVES are offering. Note to Owner: you should feel lucky that there are people still willing to buy your absolutely not necessary products in a world in recession. Rethink your policies and maybe you won’t go out of business. As for all my needs, I will stick to online even if I have to pay more, and not support your business.
Response: Our prices are clear for EVERYONE. To place order on the Internet does not mean you will come to the store, pick all what you want and then write an order. If you want discount, place the order as everyone else on the Internet and when the order is ready (not necessarily same day), we will advise you that is ready to PICKUP,. Don't try to beat the system, you will lose. Go now to buy somewhere else, pay a lot more and also include shipping, that will be your reward trying to be smart what you are not.

H S: I visited this store over the summer. They do have a very diverse selection of LGB, Märklin, and other European brands, which is something I like to see. Unfortunately, the one thing that is stopping me from giving this store a 5 star review is the attitude of the owner. I have been to hobby shops in California, Georgia, Tennessee, New York, and abroad in Germany and Austria. All of them had people who were willing to help people with their knowledge of the hobby. The people working here were not interested at all, in fact the owner was just sitting at his computer with his back turned. Please consider changing your attitude, I can guarantee you will get a lot more business.

We receive hundreds of people a day that only like to see around and no intention to buy anything, so why think you were not other like them? If you need anything, you should have ask, not give 3 stars for your lake of need to speak to someone. But I remember that my Son asked you "can I help you?" your answer was "just browsing"......

Who does not know advise to visit !! 😊 With lots of materials to craft! All kinds of materials (Artificial flowers, canvas, paints and brushes, fabrics, etc ... etc). It also has decorative objects for all areas of the house, and for all tastes! Well organized and tidy store with very friendly and attentive employees.

Realtor Time travel: 5 employees, one manager. 1 register open. Everyone around the only register open, line building up, i am 3rd in line and 2 more ladies behind me, i asked the manager if there is only one register open, he says yes. Hmm 5pm busy hour. And all these employees around including himself. And it isn’t the first time, it always takes me more than 15 mins just to pay one item at this location. Horrible.

Gary Dick: I had been looking for a train for my 4 year old grandson and didn’t want to buy something random online. I found This place a week before Christmas. The guys that work their are awesome and so helpful. I’m from Cincinnati and was down for a vacation and would come back again. I have never seen such an place that has everything anyone could want in regards to trains. What an awesome experience. They guided me to exactly what a 4 year old would love. They were so helpful. What a cool experience.

Eliot Rocks: For a retail store, their prices are extremely competitive and many times less than what you find even online. They have a huge selection of O, HO, and N scale model trains and an unbelievably massive selection of detail parts for all scales. They specialize in trains that you find locally to Florida. They have Rolling Stock and locomotives for CSX, FEC, and Tri-Rail, which are hard to find anywhere else. They have a huge selection of Intermodal trains and accessories. They carry both older and modern era Rolling Stock and locomotives. They even have a section for pre-owned merchandise.

Robert Dennard: While they have great products and make amazing custom models, I have ordered decals at their garage sale nearly two years ago, and have several times requested updates, but it appears i just keep getting brushed off. after about $65.00 of decals but nothing to show for them i am a bit annoyed.
Lokene Miller: I had an old Pacmin 1/50 scale ANA gold jet 737-700. Love the Pacmin mold but hated the paint scheme on it. I got a hold of the team at Atlantic Models with a request to redo the whole model in my hometown and bankrupt airline ALOHA. I must say they more than did the redo justice. They revived the model into a masterpiece including bare metal finishing the inlets, edges of the wings and vertical stabilizer, engine intakes winglets etc all in all these guys and gals can take an old model and make it look like brand new...I highly recommend them...youll need to bring some patience but the result is nothing short of professional if you want your dream jet done in large scale

Custom work was done which I figured it would take some time due to team redoing the wall in honoring of DMX if you ask me. My wife and I was very pleased.... Eliezer Castro: I love this shop, my dad brought me here as a kid and bought me a yogi Berra autographed card. 30 years later now I’m bringing in my son to buy Pokémon cards , the owner , Ray, is the kindest most knowledgeable person on sports cards. I always stop by weekly for Pokémon cards , supplies , cards for my personal collection, drop off some slabs for consignment, or just talk sports. Very warm friendly environment, a true psa 10 gem mint of a store.

Lee Barreto: By far the best sports trading card store I’ve ever shopped. Prices are are very responsible. Not only does Ray the owner have a wide selection of Cards, Packs, Hobby and Retail Boxes too of Sports and Non sports memorabilia he always goes the extra mile to make sure your notified that your special order was delivered and available for in store pick up. I’ve never had to wait more than three days to get my special orders. Ray is very knowledgeable in sports memorabilia and is always willing to take the time to answer all of my questions and here’s the best part “he’s kind” and a pleasure to do business with each and every time I’ve been there. I absolutely love this store and can’t wait to go back.

Brian Omlang: A hidden gem of a sports card trading store. The store sells a huge selection of vintage sports card packs. While they do sell some varieties of yugioh and Pokémon cards, the main primary are the wide selection of sports cards, the store does include selling some retro and old vintage sports figures and toys of NHL, MLB, NFL, etc including a few comics I saw in the store. While the store is small it offers a good selection. Would recommend if you are a sports card collector or possibly looking for some childhood memories to bring back

Patricia Ho-Lee: This is my first time writing a Google review on the grounds that it has to be said. The framer Jose is exceedingly condescending, sarcastic and just absolutely rude. If you have no composure to deal with customers then you should not be in customer service in the first place or you otherwise need to humble yourself. I am not the expert framer, allegedly you are. The two younger girls at the front desk are quite gracious in spite of Jose. I hope he does not treat workers how he treats us customers.

Alexi Poston: I don’t even know where to start. There were things I purchased on the site that were not even in stock and there was no disclaimer saying they were not in stock. After weeks I finally emailed them and they said that they didn’t even have the items stock still and sorry for the zero communication. The rest of my order had said it was shipped, but did not actually ship for another week. Then another week goes by and they still have to emailed me and I still haven’t received the rest of my stuff. I email them again and they STILL haven’t received it. This is about 3 weeks now. And they did not let me know again. I received attitude when I continued to contact them about my missing orders. HORRIBLE communication and customer service. I will never shop here again. Such a disappointment. Edit to add: the owner is trying to act like I was upset about an item that I knew was preorder not shipping fast enough. This is incorrect as I’ve tried explaining to her multiple times. There were multiple items displayed for sale on the site that I purchased and she failed to tell me she did not actually have the items until I emailed her. They were no listed as preorder on the site. Not only myself, but my husband were disappointed in the way I was spoken to in the emails. And I was not offerered the items I had had weeks long issues with, until I brought it up myself. They felt as if they were always right and did not even try to understand what I was saying. I do not appreciate the company trying to cover up the issues with my experience with a false response. After they persistently were emailed me telling me to take down my review, now they are trying to falsify my statement.

We are a very small business and we work very hard to provide great and caring customer service and it makes me sad to see your review. Your order was placed on Nov 2nd and it included one preorder item. I think the perception of us taking a long time to ship came from the fact that by default all items in an order including a preorder item(s) ship once all items are available. We received the preorder item on Nov 10th and packed your order that same day. The 11th was a holiday so USPS picked it up on the 12th. According to the tracking, you received the order on November 16th, which seems to be pretty good shipping from Miami to Hawaii for USPS ground. When we were packing your order on the 10th we realized there had been a mistake in our inventory and 2 small items in your order were out of stock. We were waiting on updates from our suppliers for shipping so we couldn’t give you an update right away. We didn’t want to hold your order for those two items and we wanted to ship it quickly so it could arrive before Christmas so the order was shipped. I offered a refund on two occasions when you reached out to us as the items seemed like they were going to take too long. You said you didn’t want a refund and preferred to wait for the items but were unhappy with the time it was taking so we processed the refund for them. It makes me sad to read that you think we had a horrible communication with you and gave you attitude. I went back to our emails and they all were cordial and I replied very quickly to all of them with the updates I had at the moment. We didn’t feel good about your experience and once we received the backordered items, we shipped them at no cost for either the merchandise or the shipping. We were happy to see that you received them before Christmas as the initial intention was:) Thank you again for your feedback and we hope your little one enjoyed the beautiful gifts you got for him. Bjorn: Oh yes I really like Joanne fabrics. Sometimes the staff can be a little short but all in all everyone’s very friendly and somewhat knowledgeable. I got some really nice upholstery fabric for four chairs I found on the side of the road. It turned out really well I’ll post pictures soon.
Bearcat Latina: In this store you better be prepared to spend 30 to 45 minutes on check out. It literally took me five minutes to find what I wanted and approximately 45 minutes to an hour before I paid. Very inconsiderate of customer time
Aya: Even though this store is not as big as others has a good selection of things. The place is clean and organized but painfully understaffed. My low rating is because of that. You spend more time finding a worker to help you cut your fabric or to go to the cashier so you can pay than what you spent finding your things. They have on average 2 people so even when they want to be helpful and answer questions or guide people to where the things are, they can’t because they have to be at the register or cutting or putting stuff in the shelves etc. Is sad because I know many of the staff, as I’ve been going to this store for like 7 years, they are nice people but some days the stress and people complaining get the best of them. I hope the store really read the reviews and see that they need more people!! I honestly sometimes just go to Michales instead which happens to be a couple of businesses away in the same plaza, just because I know Joann’s takes more time. So if you go there just plan for NOT an in and out kind of shopping experience.
