Gibson Park Public Pool: what do users think?

Jay Elwood: This facility is on par with any similar facility in the continental United States. That is any Parks and Recreation facility within any State's borders and the amenities associated within that particular facility. The amenities associated with Gibson Park equate many facilities not only on this continent, they also quite likely exceed others internationally! Where else do you find a facility that has an Olympic regulation/competition pool; a regulation football (artificial turf) field; a regulation baseball (diamond) field; containing grandstands, scoreboard, goal posts, and an official 'press/coordinators' box? Also the facility contains bathrooms with showers, a contemporary weight room, and a gym that you may get a chance to see a myriad of NBA players in pick-up games. All this at Gibson Park and thank you very much to Alonzo Mourning. A benefactor whom has adopted the community (Overtown/Miami) and consistently puts work in personally. The adjoining facility, Overtown Youth Center, is currently being upgraded by Dwight Stephenson Construction. He is of course the former center for the Miami Dolphins. World Class Facility. Visit when the opportunity presents itself. JE.

Jeremy Fletcher: Great public pool just blocks from downtown - open daily for lap swimming. Clean and very nice 40m pool. Plenty of lanes!

Bertha Vega: I can never get enough of this place! I love how I can bring a blanket and sit in the sun, read a book, or possibly catch a nap (only if I didn't bring anything worth stealing). You see, I'm from Fairfield... So when an individual sees another sleeping in a park, we assume they're homeless BUT IN SAN FRANCISCO! you're just another on looker enjoying a beautiful day.

Victoria Tubbs: Clean pool, nice for lap swimming, nice staff, rest rooms could have been cleaner. NO LOCKERS.

Eddie Vendetta: My kid was attacked in the park. It is not safe. Nothing was done about it. The staff was very unhelpful.

Cici Iverson: The staff and swimming instructors are outstanding in their services.

Real Rare: It was awesome. The food drive went Great!!!

Ken Davis: We came for the basketball gym which was nice but they had a leak which left water on the court stopping me from rating it higher

Jose Granda: The pool s measure is too much over for adult laps I am small heights

Yoni Azoulai: Excellent Staff. Very Attentive, even let me borrow some spare goggles!

Miami Shores Aquatic Center: what do users think?

jose v Arcieri: This place is amazing for kids. Pools and activities are fun and safe.

Denise Miqueli: Great place for kids and adults. This is a HUGE benefit for Miami Shores residents. Plenty of shaded areas, a place to make new friends, warm water, and lots to do. It's an easy activity you can enjoy without a hassle. There are bathrooms, concession stands, a large lap/swimming pool, and 2 jacuzzis. A wonderful alternative to a park on a hot day. Outside guests are $12 per.

Christelle TORRES: Miami Shores pool hours isn't updated on google so hopefully it gets corrected so someone doesn't come when it is closed but this pool is awesome! Saturday hours until 3pm sundays closed. Kids pool closed until March.

Lashonda Johnson: Disappointing to know I live less than 10mins away from here and I brought my kids in 6 and 4 for a quick water fun and they advised me only Miami shores residents, This place is literally dead. And its just a shame. Imagine being that parent having your kids all excited to be let down of why they cannot go in. I guess once they lose enough money, They will let other people in.

Labuby A: I’ve lived in Miami shores for 11 years and hosted my birthday party’s numerous times for both my kids, but this year was completely different. The party was from 3 to 5:30 I got there at 2:45 and nothing was setup, no tables no chairs I had to complain to get them to do it. Once my guest arrived they complained about them not being from Miami shores, which to my understanding Bal harbour citizens are welcomed…once proof was shown they lived in bal harbour the manager said it was fake and that they didn’t live there. Embarrassing my guest and making them feel horrible, every kid that attended that party are my daughters’ classmates from Miami shores Presbyterian school. I can’t believe of all people the manager is the rudest and most disrespectful of the staff. We were even kicked out 30 minutes early because they had an event at 6, which has nothing to do with me and doesn’t meet what I paid for. Apart from them staying with our deposit they treated us good and didn’t meet what I paid for.

Alex Levchuk: Great for kids. Really one of the best local waterparks around. Beware of open times as they close at 4:30. Hopefully, management will change that

Zarinrhaman: It's a nice place has lots of slides and etcWish there was some food

Esteban Giugovaz: Nice pool. Great for lap swimming, heated during the winter. Opens early.

DJoumbarey Moreau: I've been to the Miami Shores Aquatic Center several times and each time I have a blast, to say the least. The venue itself is good enough and is well maintained. They also do a lot to make sure that people are safe.

Rose Cabaniss: Absolutely ridiculous to only allow certain residents in to the water park.

A.D. Barnes Park Pool: what do users think?

Goomba Pizza: AD Doug is just a wonderful all-around park, the best one in Dade, a rare gem in what is otherwise a concrete wasteland of a county. Tons of natural beauty, gazebos with covered barbecues, bench areas with open barbecues, lakes, nature walks, a sparkling-clean heated public pool with diving board and accessible water entry, well-equipped playground, basketball court, sports field... And the park also hosts a nature camp for schoolchildren and a bunch of services for disabled children and adults: group retreat cabins, swimming lessons, sports programs, therapy, etc. Cannot sing its praises highly enough; this place is magical and is my favorite park.

Pedro Emilio: Great place to celebrate a kid birthday!!

Nelson Paredes: The price was great but you get what you pay for. The pool and the grounds were just fine. The instructor for the toddler (2 yrs) class didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. I ended up getting my money back.

Rebecca T.: What a hidden gem. This pool has heated water for winter swimming and many lap lanes. Showers and changing rooms available. The hours are short and a suit dryer would have been nice but for $3, great option to get in some swimming.

Genevieve Jenkins: We went to a party at the pool here last weekend and we were so impressed. The kids had an amazing time. There is a slash and play area as well. I haven't been for open swim time but we plan to. Parking can be a bit tricky but eventually you find something, you may just have to walk a bit.
Response: Thank you for visiting and taking the time to review. We are sorry that your visit was not a 5-star experience. Your feedback is important to us. Please kindly stop by or call our park management office at 305-662-4124, and let us know how we can further improve.

Misael Castillo: An amazing nature get away for the family or for yourself. Discover exotic animals, botany, nature trails, playgrounds, camping & fishing. All neatly tucked away in the heart of Westchester, Miami, Florida.

Alex Hernandez: Please go to this pool. The sky is wonderful, the pool is always clean and it is a great atmosphere to be in all the time. I've been going for 5 years

Don Clerveaux: Pool is not exactly Olympic sized (I may be wrong)...diving board to 10' deep end, locker rooms with available showers, life guards and beautiful scenery.

Dr. Jose Angel Santiago: Greatest Park in Miami.

Jeanette B: Best, prettiest park

Miami Springs Aquatic Center: what do users think?

Geoff Paugam: Too many teenage boys from the local football team...being Boyz. Rowdy AF.

John C.: This facility had a lot of potential to be great when they decided to build a completely new center. However, the reality is that they made some poor decisions regarding the use of space and the size of the actual pool. Firstly, there is a lot of wasted space around the pool. They installed these white tents and couches trying to look like something from South Beach. This is not South Beach and the tents and couches are dingy and discolored due to exposure to the elements and lack of use because of their high rental prices. Secondly, there is hardly any shade anywhere around the pool. Though they will be happy to rent you one of their over priced ripped umbrellas scattered around the pool. Additionally, the new pool they constructed is smaller than the previous pool. Now the new pool can not host competitions for swimming or diving (the old pool could). Also, the much touted water slide is only open for a very short amount of time each day making it seem like a waste of space. Lastly, the prices they charge for everything (entry, swim classes, rental of shade space or "cabanas) are higher that most other places. Even residents of Miami Springs who pay some of the highest real estate taxes in the state still get nickeled and dimed for every little thing at this place. The bright side of this place is that the staff is very friendly and caring and tries to keep everyone safe and make sure that you have a good time.

Sam's Crib: Great place to swim but it would be better if the slide was open all week long

Natalie P: I take my toddler so he can play in the kiddie pool area. He calls it the little water park.

Annabelle Sanchez: I went with my daughter and it was so peacefull🙏 and clean. 👍The lifeguards are on constant watch and rotation. The entire staff were helpful and kind.🤗They have chairs and umbrellas⛱. I was able to grab one for us this day.🌞

Dennis Fitzgerald: Ehhhhh. The splash pad is cool for the kids but the total pool area is tiny compared to what it was. The reason for 3 stars is you can rent cabanas but the look terrible. The roof of all of them is just filthy. If they would pressure wash them that would make all the difference in the world.

Rene Rodriguez: Just went there. Very nice and clean. A friend rented the space for a family special occassion. It was veey comfortable. I would definitely recommend anyone looking to hold an event of a 100 people to rent thia space. Its veey accommodating.

Angela Cochran: Love the pool. During the day on weekdays, you have the entire pool to yourself. Weekends are super loaded and fun for kids. The water is warm enough to be very comfortable, yet dull refreshing. The pool is new, very clean, extremely relaxing in my opinion. I started going there to exercise for 30 min each day. Love it!

Mr Blintz: Eh it's alright. Def not worth going for a swim.

Zavier Garcia: We love renting the cabanas. There something for all ages at this pool.

Thomas Monaghan: Clean & Well Run PoolOnly Downside is there's no Lockers to use while swimming.

Carlos Pino: Amazing coaches. Kids have learned a lot. Couldn’t be happier

Elly Alovis: Heated pool, marked lanes. $3 for those under 62. Open only for teams 3-8 pm.

Megan Mcandless: Today is July 5th 2021 Your website says you are open!!! No one answers the phone!! I drove 20 minutes to swim The pool is closed How are Taxpaying citizens able to use a pool when they can’t find out when it’s Open????

Thomas Felasco: Very clean, well run, 30 meter pool. The pool is open for lap swimming until 9 p.m. I was just there and confirmed the hours. The only tricky thing is the parking, which is kind of far and away from the entrance and there are not a lot of spaces.

Jula Sexsy: This a amazing pool very clean nice staff and the changing rooms are great.

David Nunez: Very nice pool, the team is excellent

Cira: Nice pool for swimming and water aerobics

M L: Pool hours unpredictable contrary to website. So many classes kids barely have time to swim. They have lifeguards which is a plus.Pool is clean as well.

Murray Park Aquatic Center: what do users think?

rowland saer: It is a cute water park, one pool for everyone and a splash zone (unfortunately not working today)

James Nall: Hidden Gem in South Miami! The facility has picnic tables, Shaded structures, Chairs, Lounge chairs, A splash pad, Bathrooms, Lockers, and on top of that it is a life-guarded facility so you can be at ease knowing you and your children will be safe. This is a great pool to come out and spend time with the family or bring your little ones out to learn how to swim. This pool has a zero depth entry making it easy to get in and out and safe for little ones to play with ease. There are also 4 lap lanes if you wanted to come, workout and get some laps in. Open Spring Break - End of September this is a wonderful place to check out. We also host an annual Dunkin 4 Pumpkins event (Depicted in the pictures attached) where families can come out and dip into the pool to grab a pumpkin and enjoy our local vendors.

Elizabeth Balbin: Honestly I can not understand why a pool in Miami would close from September through Spring Break of the following year. As a lap swimmer, its getting harder and harder to find places to swim, with the few pools available either full when open, or working on shorten schedules. Pretty sad.

Eddy Drums: Great place for relax, amazing staff, really good for kids. I love it.

Angelica Clancy: Lovely to be here.

Johanna Mora (Joy): Check on the water park 😉

Elizabeth Baker: The pool is clean

Ocaquatics Swim School Tropical: what do users think?

Yohermo Echeverria: Ms. Rosa was my instructor for both my son and daughter. She is absolutely the best instructor at Ocaquatics. I recommend her to all my friends and family members. All my friends that have taken my advice to bring their children to Ocaquatics and have Ms. Rosa as a swim instructor have thanked me for the recommendation. My kids are now older but when they were younger in the beginner classes I can see the change for better after every class. I’m so happy they started with Ms. Rosa at the very beginning. I’m so pleased with the results and I think Ms. Rosa was a big part of this. Her professionalism is out of this world. Safety is her priority and she makes sure all parents and children are following the facility rules at all times.
Response: Dear Yohermo, thank you so much for your review! We are very happy to know that your children are enjoying their lessons and that you love Ms. Rosa! We appreciate your recommendations and we look forward to many more years of happy swimming with your beautiful OcaFamily!

Melissa Ann Sanchez: Amazing experience with our first swimming classes. All the instructors are friendly and warm. The moment we walk in we are greeted kindly and often by name! Ms Paola and Ms Julie have been incredible instructors reviewing each of the components needed for the exercise being worked on. Their approach is educational and systematic while respecting my child’s personal limits/apprehensions. We will continue coming back!
Response: Hello Melissa! Thank you so much for your review, we are so happy to know that you love our staff and lessons! Thank you for being part of our OcaFamily!

Genesis Cajina: We have been coming to Ocaquatics for a year now and every single class I am reminded why we love this place so much. My daughter started at 6 months and she loves it. Everyone in their staff makes it such an enjoyable moment. Super caring, super safe. Miss Rosa and Miss Daniela make it so easy to love them with their great personalities!
Response: Hi Genesis, thank you so much for your review! We are very happy to know she is doing so well and that you love our team! We look forward to many more years of happy swimming with your beautiful OcaFamily!

Peter Tomas: Great school! The staff and teachers are super talented, patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. I cannot say enough good things about this swim school. I’ve been bringing my daughter here for almost a year and the improvement in her swimming skills week to week is fenomenal. I highly recommend this swim school to all parents! Special thanks to Alexa who has taken such great care and interest in my daughters progress!
Response: Dear Peter, thank you so much for your review! We are very happy to know that she is doing so well and that you love our team! We look forward to many more years of happy swimming with your beautiful OcaFamily!

Flor Jimenez: Ocaquatics Swim School (Tropical) is a great place. We love that it is indoors, especially for those few cold Miami days. They have showers and plenty of bathrooms and change rooms which are always kept clean. It is well managed and the staff is amazing; super family and helpful. We love Ms. Rosa, she is the best! They offer individual and group classes and their prices are very fair. I would recommend them especially living in Florida.
Response: Hi Flor! Thank you so much for your review! We are very happy to know that you love our team and our facility! We look forward to many more years of happy swimming with your beautiful OcafFamily!

Kathryn Nunez: I can’t express enough how amazing this school is-from the learning experience the kids get to the teachers themselves and the staff. The kids look forward to their class each week and their self esteem with swimming is fish-tastic! So glad our friends recommended Ocaquatics Swim School Tropical. Thank you so much for making learning to swim fun and engaging!
Response: Hi Kathryn! Thank you for your amazing review! We are very happy to know that you love our team and our Tropical location! We look forward to many more years of happy swimming with your beautiful family!

Vanessa Villagra: Wow! I absolutely love this swim school! It is so difficult to find a place in which the people seem to love what they do. Everyone from the front desk, to the swim instructors, and the watchers are such beautiful and welcoming people. My son has been coming here since he was 9 months, he is currently 20 months and he gets super excited the moment we pull into the parking lot. He has learned so much thanks to the amazing instructors he has had since he began. It is definitely worth checking it out.
Response: Hello Vanessa! Thank you so much for your review, we are so happy to know your son loved his swim lessons and that you love our staff! Thank you for being part of our OcaFamily!

lori ross: This location is it! 🔥 So friendly and nurturing from the moment you step foot through those doors till the moment you walk out. My kids are thriving and eager to learn to swim, despite the fear they felt when they first began. The staff at Tropical continues to make them feel safe and loved. What more can you ask for?
Response: Dear Lori, thank you so much for your review! We are very happy to know that your children are enjoying their lessons and that you love our team! We look forward to many more years of happy swimming with your beautiful OcaFamily!

Daniel Monsalve: Love love love Ocaquatics in tropical. The entire staff is FANTASTIC. We really couldn’t have asked for a better experience for us and for our daughter. She looks forward to her swim class every week and she’s learned so much! My wife and I feel like this is amongst the most important things we have done for our little girl.
Response: Hi Daniel! Thank you for the kind words! We enjoy having you as part of our OcaFamily and watching your daughters progress! We are thankful to hear that you are happy with the program! We look forward to many more years of happy swimming with your beautiful family!

Heather Vincent: I love the team at Ocaquatics Tropical! Everything is smooth and the experience is amazing from signing up to the actual classes. My daughter immediately took a liking to Daniela. Lately, she has been fussy/the crying child in class. Everyone is so patient and fantastic with her. All the instructors are so caring and do everything they can to make children comfortable in the pool. My daughter may cry in the pool but as soon as she gets out she talks about how much she likes everyone at Ocaquatics! We will certainly keep taking her there because we know it is a safe place for her to learn an incredibly valuable life skill.
Response: Dear Ana, Thank you so much for your review! We are very happy to know that she is doing so well and that you love our team! Ms.Daniela is a great instructor. We look forward to many more years of happy swimming with your beautiful OcaFamily!

Swim Kids Swimming School: what do users think?

Christian Stackler: Great place for kids to learn swimming. The teachers know exactly how to deal with kids (all ages) and have them enjoy the pool. My kid loves going to his swimming lessons. 100% recommended

John Pardo: Great place! The kids learn playing, is very friendly place and supoort the kids in their grown like swimers! Staff really proffesional and you can trace your account via phone app. Totally recommended.
Response: Thank you for your review :)

Gleydis Viera: Love this school! All the instructors and staff are so loving
Response: Thank you for your review , your feedback is really important to us !

Axel Iglesias: This is the best swimming school in all South Florida. The instructors are awesome, they create a safe and family like environment where the kids learn how to swim while having a lot of fun. My two kids learned here and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Thank you Swim kids!!
Response: We are grateful you chose our School!

Elsa Rizo: Before you enroll make sure you visit the space and watch a class. The pool is small and they do a lot of classes at once. It gets crowded and loud. The teacher was nice. The place is not in the Design District area, it is further away - for me this was misleading. I paid for an entire month+fee and when I requested my money back because it took too long to get there they simply said could not refund. I lost my money. I would only recommend this place if your kids are very small and just want to get used to the water and you don't mind a lot of people at once.
Response: Thank you ER for your opinion . When you enrolled with us you accepted the school rules and policies , so you were perfectly aware of the rules , (if you don't agree you can not continue the registration). We are open 7 days and we offer 240 classes per week so families can choose different times, you could have asked for a less crowded class and we could have changed it with pleasure. We offer heater indoor pool for kids that need to learn how to swim , we have 27 years experience in the business so you are more than welcome to call us if you will like to arrange a different class with less kids.

lourdes Chiesa: Absolutely amazing...One of the best thing is its customer service , they make you feel like a family. I love the indoor pool and is heated so I don't have to worry about weather outside. Super clean, and organized. Very professional staff, specially the front desk ...I've been in different swimming school but this is definitely the best .
Response: Thank you so much for your kind review! We are happy to have you in our family.

Marisel valencia: It is a great school. My kids has been here for a year and their swim skills have been improved Teachers are really nice and totally recommend it
Response: Thank you for being part of the Swim Kids Family!

Maria Alejandra Buroz: The best swim school for little ones!!!! By hands of excellent professionals that truly love their work! My three sons learned there! The Manager, Majo is the best of this wonderful crew!
Response: Thank you for your kind review

Viviana Cantarero: My kids learned so fast how to swim, it was a great environment and lovely teachers.
Response: Thank you so much for your review!

Jeremy Finer: Thank you swim kids for helping even the most reluctant and dramatic child get over herself, into the water and on her way to being a functional swimmer!
Response: Thank you Jeremy , its is our pleasure to see our little ones become great swimmers !! Thank you for being part of our family !!

Alan Hsieh: Lanes are available most of the time. Clean pool and temperature well controlled

Oskar Finneran: The pool itself is really nice and deep maybe is has some leaves in it but you can see it is taken care of. Sadly the manager today(9/09/21) was really mean when the swimming teams were asked to wait in the hooded entrance right after the gates. The manager acted super unprofessional and asked us(athletes) to go sit in the rain becouse they can't have anyone sitting there. Then one of the employees saw that the rain was reaching the gates there were we were waiting and said to us that we should come in and take shelter in the lobby area. The menager after maybe 10 minutes came out of his room and asked us what are we doing there and ensisted on kicking us out of the facility. We told the menager that one of the employees told us it's fine if we in the lobby and wait for the rain to pass and wait for the buss. The manager again ensisted on removing us from the facility so we left into the rain.

Jossy: Pool is very clean. Not crowded. Most of the time it's a 25 meter pool but once in a while it is a 50 meter pool. The lockers are also very clean.

Noel Villaman: it is good place to spend two hours swimming and diving

Daniel Rodriguez: Very very nice to share with your kids sports have fun only the swimming pool is 3 $ enjoy it

Kourosh Saeb-Parsy: This pool is currently CLOSED and a building site. Except it is impossible to get any information about the pool as they don’t answer the phone and there is no specific website with information. So I decided to go anyway, thinking it was open, and wasted $20 on a return Uber journey. Very poor. They need to update the website/google info/telephone lines.

Goddess Greene: Great staff. Very clean pool. Would be nice to have a salt water pool instead. The neighborhood is decent. Overall convenient and nice. Good for me

Scott Keever: Very clean and the people around it are very friendly. It is a great place to spend some time with the family or you can even spend your valuable time with your loved ones. I have great memories of this place.

Erma Wiley: Great park. Excellent management

L Darv: The pool is not open. It is currently under construction. Unfortunately no-one answers the phone nor is there any information posted online stating this.

Jose Marti Pool: what do users think?

Csaba Hartmann: Open air pool that belongs to the local community center. Low price (only $3 for an adult) and you get access to a nice pool for it. There aren’t too many lanes and the moment there is more than one person in one lane it gets a bit difficult to do a great exercise. Apart from that I was really happy to find this place.

Tomas Possenti: Great 25m pool. There are 3 dedicated swim lanes. Please check City website for times. Summer schedule changes. Pool is a bit dated and could use a refresh, but it serves its purpose for training.

John Robles: Beautiful park and good pool.I recommend it

J. M.: Beautiful, clean and safe. This is one of my favorite parks.

Monica Diaz-Veliz: For the pass 27 years living in the area this park has become so popular and improved tremendously. I just wish this park can install a nice Dog park area for the residents doggies who really need a nice place to play too and I know this park has area that can be use for it.

Maria Suarez: This Pool is clean and staff very nice

NCF29YT: Pretty good pool! You get an amazing bargain for what you are getting. Just take it from me and other local guides: It is very good for its price!

Anonymous: Love the pool just wish I could go to the deep side

Sandy E. Quintero: Love it 😁!... Clean and nice people 😎🏊😍

Jason C: Decent pool along the Miami river. Costs $3 for you live swimming and the hours are quite limited. Men's locker room has been broken for a while. Lifeguards are polite and professional.

Flamingo Park Pool: what do users think?

Marc Baumann: Went there for daily swimming sessions during a week in April. Great pool. Not too crowded, nice infrastructure, easy going and friendly staff.

Ana Colon: I went with some friends that are Miami Beach residences. It was a beautiful sunny Sunday there was not one cloud in the sky. My sister and I paid $15 to get in because we are Miami residence. I get in the pool as I wait for my sister not even 10 min later the life Guards yell everyone out there is lighting within a 5 mile. We exit expecting to get a refund like in most pools, usually have an hour and will provide a refund if they close. Nope NOT here the young lady which did not provide her name nor had a name tag. After waiting like 15 minutes as she argued with a Party to leave off the deck that would not listen to her. She finally took my information on a pink post it because there was no managers on Sunday. She said they would contacting me the next day for a refund or rain check. I am still waiting to hear back from them. Staff does not change here. The people change but the attitude is the same.

papa azucar: Handball courts are finally done and they came out really great 👍

Alla Isakova: Nice pool. Kids pool with cold water and regular pool with warmer water. But not much of a difference. Great spot to spend time with family when the ocean is windy. Great vegetarian option in food kiosk. Really loved vegetarian fish fillet sandwich, and vegetarian chicken sandwich. Entrance 13$ per adult (not resident)

Angela Hovi: My four year old son and I had a blast at this water park this afternoon! It is a community centre and park that has many aspects, however we went to the aquatic center. It's outdoors, has a pool that has swim lanes and part just open for swimmers, but we stayed in the most fun part - a splash pool with a large playset in it. I wish we'd have found this place sooner in our vacation! There is also a large playground beside the aquatic center that we didn't get a chance to play at but it looked great. Highly recommend!

Shelly Ramsamuhj: It's a beautiful place to work out and to go relax with your family it has the pool and the running track.

هانينس LLC: Best park for playing basket ball, walking dogs or any other thing people do in parks :)

M V: The place is a little run down and small. The price is too much for what you get if you're not a Miami Beach resident ($12 adult $7 kids) They should post their sessions and protocols of when they will close down the pool. Luckily there's a playground next door so kids can still have fun when the pool closes down. We were there for about 4 hours and kicked out twice for an hour total. I do not think we will be returning. I was referred to Bucky Dent park in Hialeah as an alternative. Hopefully Flamingo uses some of their admission capital to repair the slide in the wading pool. Yellow caution tape was in both wading and lap pool locations. The lifeguards were attentive and courteous.

Kostiantyn Biriukov: Absolutely wonderful place. That's like every Park should look. Free pool, free football, basketball, baseball, tennis. Really amazing place.

Samuel Litzman: very very nice

Venetian Pool: what do users think?

Liz LaRosa: Such a fun experience to do in Miami! Although it does get busy at times, the pool itself is huge so it never feels too crowded! There is a smaller “beach” area to relax, as well as areas around the pool. Lounging chairs can be rented for $7 as well. Food was your typical snack shop foods (chicken tenders, fries, hot dog, etc.) and took a while to actually get. I would eat beforehand if possible! Overall, a great experience to go do in Miami if you have never done! Not sure if it is worth it to go again and again, but for the experience I would go at least once!

Malky Rabinowitz: I had an awesome experience at the venetian pool! We purchased entry tickets online and it costed $16 for the entire day. The pool has lots of waterfalls and ranges from 4-8 feet deep. The water was a bit cold but otherwise amazing. There was a small beach area for tanning and relaxing. The restrooms, showers and locker rooms were very clean. I'll definitely be back!

Holly Mann: We had an excellent time at the pool. On a Thursday morning to mid afternoon it was relatively empty. The caves would close and then reopen every 30 or so minutes. While we personally did not try it, the food smelled delicious (especially for pool food!). Lounge chairs can be rented but there is free seating as well. Plenty of shade, too. At this point in the season they are charging less than what is lost online (for non residents). I would recommend checking the prices at the ticket booth when you arrive and oursading directly from them or online at that time.

Brandee Smith: Wonderful place to spend the entire day! You can bring your own food and drinks, but no coolers, alcohol, or glass. They limit how many people can enter per day so I suggest getting their 1st thing!

Josie Jose Olivas: Love this place. The water is not heated, a little cold & chilly, once you get use to it, not bad on a hot humid day. They have chair rentals if you come early, for $ 7, you can buy tickets online or at the window. They have a sand area or a non-sand area, tables and umbrellas to eat at.

Phil Tatro: A real life Oasis right in Coral Gables!! Fed by an underground spring water aquifer, this pool is over 800,000 gallons! Drained and refilled every other day, with only 1 gallon of chlorine added, so almost like swimming in a clean, sterile lake, and oh, so refreshing! 2 waterfalls, grotto like caves make this a unique pool unlike any other. Tropical, lush landscaping, plenty of shaded areas with umbrellas, picnic tables and trees make a great spot for a picnic. Numerous areas with sand, wading pool, and benches. Locker room with showers, and lockable storage. On site snack bar as well. Numerous life guard on duty. Just a relaxing spot.

Joann Rosales: Family vacation from NJ to Miami. We decided to stop by this area and try out the pool. The entrance was a bit pricey for the size but parking was a pro. It’s rare to find free parking in Miami. Very nice experience. I would definitely recommend this place to others that come out to visit.

Oliver Solorzano: This is an amazing Landmark. A safe, welcoming, comfortable experience for south Floridians. Enjoy a man made cenote, cave like swim, waterfalls, layout on the man made soft sand beach, enjoy a lunch, and plenty of pool water. 👍. Highly recommend this small paradise.

Yojana Rodriguez: Venetian pool continues to be a staple of my summer experience. Coming here since my YMCA Summer Camp days as a child, to counselor, to a mother accompanying my own chidren on their on trips. The beauty has been preserved, still clean, still cold, still fun. You should make it a part of your summer experience too. Cheers to almost being 100 years old ❤️💯

Jenen Tan: This looks like a cool place to swim in, but it's closed for the winter season, so I was only able to take pictures outside of the gate. It will re-open on Feb 2nd, 2022. There are dozens of parking spots available, but I could imagine them getting all full in the peak season. The opening hours on Google map need to be updated.

Tamiami Pool: what do users think?

Govinda Ghimire: Amazing place. Good tutors. My kid learned to swim in 8 days. 🙏

Mario M: Very good pool ; most lanes occupied by swimming teams on weekdays

mrzero824: I go there for swimming but Tamiami Park is closest to do bocce court or softball

Stuart Reed: My husband and I took lesson from Instructor Tamiami Pool on 9/1/11 for the first time. He worked hard with us on forehand and serving. We have learned a great tips from him. My forehand improved a lot since then. I keep reminding myself to swing the racket all the way to my back. We would highly recommand him. Thank.

Cristyan Gonzalez: (Summer hours for Public Swimming from 8:00pm to 9:00 pm.) Can't say enough about this pool. Staff is the nicest, life guards are awesome. The pool always has some kids training and there are usually free lanes, tho sometimes they are hard to get. It's $2.50 for public swimming. Since it's very sunny there I'd recommend the 7:00 to 8:30pm shift.

Gonzalo Figueroa: Amazing trainers, they are really nice and worried about the kids learning. They have patience and love for each student. We already had the experience with four at different levels and they are amazing. Stephanie, Diana, Leo and Eddie are all incredible great with kids and you can tell that other teachers are also too. Great environment!

Gary Bak: Kids came here to swim laps while on vacation. The public hours are weird because some local schools come here for practice so call ahead. The pool was clean and had a lifeguard. My kids say they like the indoor pools they usually swim in because they are colder, but they said the water felt good. Pool didn't reek of chloramines like indoor pools can, sun works wonders.

John Carrascal: Been swimming here for 20+ years! Pool is clean, staff is friendly. Some of the girl life guards have attitudes sometimes. Karina and Frank are the best managers. Also, FIU students swim for free 12 pm-3 pm and from 6 pm till close on weekdays.

Asim Nabi: This is cool place to swim. For fiu students it is free from 12 noon - 3 pm Monday to friday. Other wise I'll suggest to go from 7 -8:30 shift which costs $3 and there few people only. The only downside is that the part which is deep is occupied by diving training team. Otherwise this is a cool place

Shim: Great pool with lifeguard, price is cheap. Good for kids to learn swimming.

Thomas Sasso Pool: what do users think?

marsha glover: I grew up in North Miami. As a child I watched I 95 get built. I lived in 126 st and 1 ct My twin brother and I would walk to Sun Kist pool every day in the summer. It was very hot. We took beginners swimming , then the following summer advance beginners and so on until finally became Junior life guards. I lived at that pool during the summer. It was 10 cents to get in. Back then it was called Sun Kist pools. They had a low and a high diving board. I learned to dive. Back then a parent didn’t have to be with you. An eight old could pay their 10 cents and get in. It was great. By 13 I graduated from pools and we girls would hitch hike to Haul over Beach , Then I grew up , meant interesting people. Became an RN and also started racing sailboats in Biscayne Bay. Growing up in Miami was great in the fifties and sixties. Not so much now. But I’m for ever grateful to have had access to Sun Kist pools and the wonderful introduction to water. And ocean Forever grateful. Marsha

Federico Neuenschwander: The staff is struggling with the lack of resources. The children's pool has been closed for more than a year and the adults has the perimeter recirculation system clogged and dirty. We had to wait for an hour because now they are opening at 1pm instead of noon. Very sad and disappointing.

Robert “Rob”: When I went to this place my family loved it and always wanted to go to a pool this si the best Pool I have ever been to.

Marley Capone: Not lgbqt friendly made me feel very uncomfortable I will not return here nor my kids

Derek Kearney: Great place for my toddler to take swimming lessons in our neighborhood.

Rashee Harvey: Staff are rude here especially the woman at the front she doesn’t have great customer service skills

Felda Anderson: I love this pool the staff is very good my little one is learning how to swim and me also amazing

Brittany Williams: I think this is a nice park. I went there today for a birthday party through a church. The park has two water areas; the main pool and a kiddie playground. The main pool goes up to eleven feet. The kiddie playground area was 1 foot. The kiddie playground area was simple but my son had a blast for the 10 minutes he was able to enjoy it. He kept asking to go back. For whatever reason they closed that side. I honestly think the lifeguard just didn't want to be bothered. He told us he was leaving to go home but 30 minutes later I saw him over by the main pool. Luckily the main pool started at 3 feet and my son was able to enjoy the water although I'd much preferred him on the kiddie side. My son loves water so I always have a mini heart attack whenever he ventures outside of the kiddie section. This pool does offer swimming lessons. It is an 8 week session and it's $40 for north miami residents and $60 for non residents. The swim instructor was present which was a huge plus because I want to sign my son up. He was super nice and very informative. The other staff members were ok. You could tell that they'd love to be anywhere else but there. However that's to be expected. They're teenage boys. I remember wanting to be anywhere but work when I was teenager. And if I'm being totally honest, I still feel that way as an adult! This pool is a little on the small side but I think that's a good thing. However if it gets packed that may not be a good thing.

Aida van Mossel: Great poll, not too big but definitely a lot of space. There are showers as well. The staff are nice. The swim classes are great for kids. My daughter just transitioned from the pre-team to the team. Every coach there is dedicated to seeing the kids succeed. They are sweet but firm. As parents we are responsible for making sure they are on time and ready to begin, which I love. Discipline and accountability is key for sports.

Pretty Maya: Very nice and clean pool, and splash play area for the kids. 🤗😘 I highly recommend this pool area.

Range Pool: what do users think?

JoseEnrique Tocasuche: Jan. 22, 2022-8:16. Range Pool is Not a 24 hour pool as shown on google. 1/

Marlinda Nesmith: Appears to be nice. Tried to go today. Unfortunately we were turned away because there were too many people at the pool. There were 15 people there!! At an Olympic size pool. Not sure how that constitutes too many people. Had to come to a more expensive pool. On a hot summer day all anyone wants is a nice cool pool.

YoungNBlack: If you are trying to get your swim on then don’t bother this place. It states it’s open on the site but in person they will kindly tell you they are closed.

L Darv: A clean facility and clean pool. The pool is significantly larger than many public pools visited, and has numerous swimming lanes as well as an open swimming area.

Michael DuranFlores: Sept. 2021 update. DO NOT bother even coming here. Pool is drained.

Janiya Dozier: I give it five stars because it a community pool and thing I dont like about it is that it opens to late

Kirniyah Laurent: I really like the pool and the friendly staff

Christia Ivery: Enjoyed the water yesterday. Took my nephew for the first-time he was impressed
