Mara Perez: Our family recently experienced the sad event of an unexpected death of a dear close relative. We were lucky enough to have National Funeral Home on Douglas Road recommended to us. We can’t be more grateful to the staff for their empathy and kindness. It is in times of sorrow when these qualities are most needed from people and we certainly found them at National Funeral Home. The warmth and professionalism of all who came in contact with us made our time of need a lot easier. We are for ever grateful.

M Garcia: The female owner at this funeral home has a big picture of herself on a stand at the entrance advertising 100% satisfaction for the services. There were many people for the viewing of my relative; including family and friends seating by the main entrance. I flipped her photo to face the wall and placed a portrait of my deceased relative in place. But then she asked her employee to remove it and placed hers back. I personally find the action to be rude and disrespectful for family and friends. Whoever the owner is; l like to remind you that we rented your place for such purposes. Train yourself on the meaning of satisfaction and customer service.

Valerie Trujillo: If I could give zero stars I would please if you want to be treated with respect and with patience in this moment in time do not go here there is a million other funeral homes that will honor your family member and speak to you with respect this place is a disaster they are a mess they are so disrespectful and they are mean in this moment of time the director is rude and doesn’t care about anyone I paid for my grandmother to be cremated and for 3 weeks they said they were backed up I called 2 weeks into it they said she’ll be ready next week never saying anything was missing and now they said we were missing a document which is why she wasn’t ready that they failed to mention in my previous call stay away from this place Que lugar tan decepcionante la directora es una grocera maleducada que no tiene paciencia ni amor para la gente que pierde seres queridos son desorganizados y maleducados vayan a otro lugar porque este lugar no se merece nada

Jorge Menendez: My mom unexpectedly died. Like most people, she did not have the funeral home paid in advance. So I looked around. One of the funeral homes I called restricted viewings to 3 hours, but was not any less expensive. I actually found out that some “family owned” funeral homes are actually part of big corporations, and it shows. So I found Auxiliadora Funeraria National (or ¨National Funeral Homes¨ in English). I had never heard of them before. I called and their president, Dayana Sosa, quickly answered. She and her husband own and manage the funeral home. When we met in person, she and the staff did not rush the meeting or push me to purchase. In fact, they gave me some coffee and Dayana told me to take as much time as I needed and answered my questions calmly in a relaxed environment. The funeral home had a good, classical look about it. We had the kind of conversation that is only possible in an independent business. They are a business, but they are not just business. I appreciated this humanity Several other funeral homes cap the viewing to 12 midnight. But they had the option for all-night viewing . They also had coffee and sweets available and a TV to put a picture slideshow on. And they reserve the entire place just for you and your family and friends that night. And yet they are less expensive than almost every other funeral home. Dayana and the employees at the funeral home were very kind with me. I asked many questions, and they answered each one. The prayer cards were the best I’ve seen. They are laminated. Dayana did me the favor of printing me some more afterwards, with no charge. She also helped me get my mom’s marker/scroll for at least a fourth of the price the cemetery was asking. I am grateful how well they handled everything. Don’t discount Auxiliadora because they are not a “big name”, or the ones you know. Exactly what more are these “big names” offering? I hope I will not need to arrange a funeral again for a very, very long time. But if I do, I will be going with them again.

VICTOR LLANO: Me and my wife went shopping around for funeral homes and this funeral home was by far the best pricing and the customer service was excellent. Yenni Aguirre was our representative and took care of us from the beginning to the end. I give them 5 stars. We had the funeral 2 days after and they provided coffee, soda, water , and little cakes for a snack. No place does this at no charge . Thank you Nation funeral for making this unfortunate experience great and the cleanliness of the place ease sparking clean. Thank you again.

Karen A-R: I won't recommend this place to family members whom are looking for a personal, sympathetic and respectful wake for their loves ones. Some of the personnel that work there have no regard for the hurt of the family who lost some one. They need to learn what sympathy is and them try to run a business like this. Do not get there

Damaris alcantara: National is the worst funeral home in Miami, the employees and so call owner have no sympathy for hurting people that lost a a family member. Thy over charge for their casket - i said that will call backs to see we were going with them after I call back they will automatically hang up my call even when I call from different number . This people shouldn’t be in this type of businesses. Please please dot use them you will be very disappointed ❤️‍ 😞

Sharon Oppedisano: Extremely efficient, caring, quality care. Casket was beautiful, and affordable. Highly recommend Dayana Sosa, who arranged for my husband's body to be prepared to be flown to NY. Her care and communication were outstanding, and her price was reasonable.

Alexa Parra: My family and I lost my mother unexpectedly and had to make funeral and burial arrangements in a timely manner. As one can imagine, this situation can be stressful if it is not pre arranged. The team at national funeral homes not only gave me the best price for both funeral and burial (literally half of what the other places were charging) but they were able to accommodate our requests and needs in a timely manner. We were able to do the funeral and burial within the same week due to our combined efforts. Losing a loved one is very painful but thanks to Dayana and Rafael I was able to honor my mother's final wishes. I highly recommend them

Karina Lopez: If I could give them negative stars I would ! This place is unsympathetic and unprofessional! The “owner” Diana was extremely rude & non caring for grieving families. They offer very poor service. I wouldn’t recommend this funeral to anyone even if it was the last one on this earth. This place should not be open for business.

Gissele Valladares: Our family wants to thank Felipe Caballero and his staff for the incredible service, compassion and consideration they had for us. This was my first experience at preparing funeral services for a loved one. Felipe walked me through the entire process and ensured he would take care of everything, and he did. His professionalism and caring heart solidified my trust in him.He was always just a phone call away and would always answer my questions in a timely manner. If there was an option for 10 stars for this business, I would give it 10 stars. We are living in very unprecedented times and many business owners are taking advantage people’s vulnerability. This is NOT the case for this business. If you have to prepare funeral services for a loved one , do not look elsewhere, you will not regret it. The sense of trust that you feel with him and his staff is exceptional. Thank you Felipe once again for everything.

Lucia Martin: My family and I cannot thank Felipe Caballero and his staff enough for the guidance, support, and compassion they gave us . Our beloved mother passed very suddenly and needless to say making so many decisions when we are the most vulnerable it’s hard … and unfortunately there are other funeral homes that all they care is about the extra buck they are going to make … our family from out of state(s) inquired around the Miami area to different funeral homes about services and prices …. The only one that stood out from even the phone conversations was Graceland … Andrea and Alejandro are so caring , even with their tone of voice … This was our first time having to prepare funeral services for a loved one. We sat down with Felipe and explained our circumstances to him . Felipe took the TIME to break down everything in an way that we understood. His caring heart impressed us … he reassured us he was going to take great care of our mom which meant the world to us ..he wrote down details that were meaningful to us ..We were so impressed with the work they did .. my mom looked great … they truly pay attention to details.. Michelle Melendez: Felipe and his team are absolutely incredible! I flew in from Hawaii and my dad unfortunately passed away. I was on a very tight schedule and needed to fly back home asap. Felipe explained the entire process from start to finish and how to bring my dad's ashes back with me. He was able to guide me on how to expedite the process. Everything went smoothly and they even had everything ready earlier than expected. I cannot praise them enough, they were a huge help during this difficult time.

Diana Perez: Our family would like to thank Felipe and his staff for helping and comforting us in a very difficult time in our lives. My father passed away recently and we got directed by some of our friends to go visit Graceland Funeral immediately. Pricing was amazing. What a big heart Mr Felipe has, my father was in the military and he reached out to honor guards and had them do a ceremony at my fathers service. Felipe helped us with everything... made the process go so smooth and just took a lot of weight off of our shoulders. It was such a beautiful ceremony. Please don’t even think twice of going somewhere else, you will not regret going to Graceland... you will gain a true friend at the end of everything. Chatto Elmore: I could have given 5 stars because everything was absolutely perfect except for the death certificate that took so long. I paid the whole amount 2 days after he passed away but it took them 45 days to process the said certificate and we had a hard time calling back and forth between the 2 funeral homes involved.

I felt very calm and new I could trust them, this is the second time we have used their services and have not disappointed me. Ivonne Heredia: Fernando and his staff were amazing!! When we started Fernando was out of town but his staff Andrea, Jorge and Angela were super amazing. When he got back on Monday, he had been updated with all our needs and just the tenderness in which they treated us was impressive. Knowing that my family was under emotional stress, they made sure to be on top of all details in a timely way and were very accessible when we had questions. The day of the service, they were helpful and involved yet unobtrusive of our family and friends who came to say goodbye to our mom. We felt taken care of. On the business side of things, they were quick to send a written proposal that included everything discussed over the phone. I noticed other Funeral Homes would send different proposals or give us add ons that were not mentioned previously. Also, Ferdinand was fast in getting the paperwork to us. We then and then made the switch to Stanfill . We wish we had gone to Stanfill from the beginning! Daniel and Elizabeth were wonderful to work with. Follow up and attention to detail were exemplary. We had the pleasure of meeting Daniel Brisbine, who met and exceeded all of our expectations in the recent passing of our mom. Daniel ensured that everything went well. Jose Andres Restrepo: I have no words to describe the superb work that Van Orsdel does. My dad had terminal dementia and crystal treated me literally like family from the first phone call. The process was straight forward, she understood what my family and I wanted for my dad. When he passed the easy phone call to them, she kept me updated on a daily basis about the process. She connected us to the catholic cemeteries. Every single detailed was taken care of. I recommend them without hesitation.

Merry Kin: Highly recommend Van Orsdel services to any family not looking to add any more distress to an already sad time. Akeem, Dwayne and the rest of the Van Orsdel staff were amazing. After the passing of my dad, they made sure everything was taken care of and that we were being fully supported. Akeem was with our family literally every step of the way, fine-combing through the entire process for us so that we had the most clarity and the least amount of stress. He was with us during our initial consultations (and answering every single one of our phone calls), helped us with all of the paperwork, welcomed and embraced our culture and provided religious accommodations, and made sure we were prepared for our travels back home with our dad. debbie rivera: Van Oradell is the best place to be on the worst day of your life. Frank and the rest of the staff obviously care for their clients, the living ones and the ones that have passed on. When my father passed more than 10 years ago I met Frank who guided our family thru what we thought would be a terrible and scary process and made it a calm and peaceful transition for my much loved dad. Two years ago when my mother was being cared for by hospice I was asked who would be handling my mom. There was no other response than Van Orsdal. One month ago today I lost the love of my life and again Frank and staff helped me make it thru. Vanessa Malden-Barbosa: It’s been 8months since daddy past away. Now is when I had the time to provide a review. I’m not much of reviews, but I told myself when ready I would for them. My brothers and I were running around looking for a place for my father ASAP because of the pandemic everything had to be done so quickly. I found this place under the list the hospital provided for us and I called. Just talking to the woman on the phone I knew I found the right place. She sent me pictures of the inside via text and was kind through the entire process. Even though they were closed she found a way for us to see the place. We have been to a few and this one was well taken care of and clean. It didn’t feel like a funeral home. The space was just perfect. Their hospitality was beyond amazing and answered any questions my brothers and I had for them. Our overall experience was great and we can’t thank you enough for your hospitality and kindness throughout this difficult time. Thank you!

Yeyi Hernandez: My father passed away on April 15th 2021 after being hospitalized for almost 6 weeks. The same day, I went to Vior, my first stop, and upon meeting the Director, Jorge Rivero, I knew I found our place. He was so accommodating. He gave me one price for everything, a bundle, and I got to choose my father's urn. The place is big, comfortable, warm, and the chapel was elegant. He made sure we were the only family that day per my request, for social distancing purposes. Our memorial was 3 days after his death. VIOR picked my dad up from hospital same day and had him ready the day after. They work closely with Primavera florists on Flagler St and the chapel was quiet and decorated beautifully. I had no complaints. Peter was in charge of our service, whom I had to tip for being so hospitable with our family. I have nothing but positive things to say about this Funeral Home. Anywhere else, this type of service would have costed double, but they made it so affordable and convenient for me, during such a painful time, that I would never look elsewhere. I would give them 10 stars for letting me say Goodbye to my dad in such a hassle-free manner.

E Wood: Vior helped me when my father passed away in 2015. My parents had made no plans and I had to do everything. I was really impressed with their professionalism, communication and sensitivity during such a traumatic time. My mother passed away last month and I decided to use them again. This was an especially tough situation to deal with due to COVID but once again they went above and beyond to not only work with me but do all of it remotely. Khunthea Chhay-lugo: My youngest brother passed away in March, and out of all the 5 funeral homes I have called, only this one picked up. I spoke with Arayma, and she was my point of contact the whole ENTIRE time. This was during the beginning of the pandemic and she made sure ALL of our needs was met! Nobody is ever prepared for a sudden death, let alone a funeral for a love one. She reassured us that everything will be taken care of and she seemed to put a little more than 100%... sometimes 10% more makes such a big difference! Her professionalism not only EASED our worries, but it made life a bit easier knowing someone with PASSION can guide you through this difficult time. I couldn’t thank her more! She’s was not just the person who “helped” us cause it’s her “job”.... she took care of us like we was her family. Sometimes God gives you an ability to help others, and I just feel she was the perfect person! If you are ever in doubt and need a person to provide you comfort with a loss one, she is the person to do that! Thank you Arayma, for EVERYTHING! We were treated like family by Arayma, she made all the phone calls required to make sure everything was ready for the viewing and with the cemetery too. Jorge Suarez: The degree of professionalism and compassion exhibited by everyone is beyond comparison. I got estimates from several funeral homes and none of them explained the charges. They had an attitude of " this is it if you don't like it too bad". Not at VIOR , Janet the owner explained everything and offered suggestions to save money. Michelle Musil: We had a terrible experience with Mirna and her daughter. We went to La Paz Funeral Home as one of many funeral homes we visited. We explained to them that we were shopping for a funeral home and that losing a loved one was a very new experience for us. Mirna was very pushy and rude. She was pushing us to sign paperwork right away even after we said we were still going to visit other places. She took advantage of a very difficult and vulnerable time for our family to try and make a sale. My mom had just lost her daughter and Mirna was callous and insensitive in the way she spoke to us. Her daughter was downright nasty and yelled at us when we inquired about customizing memorial cards for our guests. They made copies of our id and had us fill out forms even though we were just browsing. I do not understand how these are the same people getting great reviews from others. They were nasty and rude. We ended up choosing a different funeral home where we were treated kindly and with empathy and did not mind paying more money. If I could give the zero stars I would.

Megan Trick: While the setup for my aunt’s viewing was beautiful, they did not have an adequate amount of staff to support 2 views and a funeral at the same time. There were no staff employees in the room for the viewings, no signs indicating which rooms were which viewing, the secretary was not knowledgeable of what was going on, needs of the family were not met in regards to the appearance of my aunt when asked to adjust 3 hours before the viewing took place, and the viewing rooms were partitioned so both parties could hear each other loudly and clearly. All in all, the overall presentation was nice and professional, however the details that ensure the family can focus on grieving instead of hosting we’re not met. I would not recommend this establishment if you have expectations from other funeral homes.

Natalie Richardson: First of all to whom ever decision it was to give this low class funeral home 5 star must been paid really good. I attending a funeral for a well respected man. This funeral home decided to request 5,000 dollars cash 930 pm, night before the funeral. We were in mourning getting ready to lay our love one to rest the next morning and the unprofessionalism of this man is unbelievable. Again 930 at night we were to snap our fingers and find 5,000 dollars or else he wouldn't bury our love one. I thought funeral homes run policy and check all the dotted lines before the planning? Not after the family arrive in town to find out there won't be a burial. I thought all along this gotta be a scammer. Who does that? Day of funeral after the family was allowed to say there goodbye. We went outside getting ready to follow the Hers with my uncle body and he took off with no words without the sprinters. We were standing there wondering where did our love one go. He took off with the body and called to say he wanted 5,000 dollars to bury our love one. This man is a scammer he could not talk with any of us face to face even though he demanded all this extra money for a burial. He traumatized our family on a traumatizing event that we can never change. We will never see our dad uncle grandpa again and he capitalized on our pain. Mr. Dwight there are many way of running a successful business and I know as a fact using God or someone pain to gain will never prosper. I strongly urge someone to investigate the establishment for false advertisement, not to mention Mr Dwight was rude and at time argumentive very unprofessional. .

Lenora Porter: On behalf of the Russell and Rumph family, I am utterly appalled and extremely taken aback as I witnessed total disrespect from Hadley Davis’s MLK location. You would think a business structured around serving mourning customers/individuals would have protocol and training in place to ensure psychological safety, compassion and understanding; however, the treatment from these employees hurt my family and I to the core. As the world deals with the aftermath of COVID-19, there will be more families like ours and if you are not ready for the level of service required, you should rethink your entire business model. Incident 1: Before the viewing The viewing of Shaquita Monae Rumph was scheduled August 26, 2021 at 1pm-2pm for family and 2pm-5pm for the public. We received a call stating the funeral home has not received her clothing so she will not be ready at 1pm; however, we delivered her clothes a day prior. We drove to the location anyway because we were certain they had her clothes. When we arrived, my uncle, Shaquita’s dad, asked what was going on and they rudely stated, “We will only talk to the family!”. After informing the rude employee that he’s her father, they asked if he had the clothes and if his name was on the policy. (Umm, what!??) Around 3:00 pm as we sat in the parking lot waiting, we see our loved one arriving in a hearse. So, the real reason things could not start at 1pm was because she wasn’t even there and the funeral home did not ensure a timely arrival. Being that the funeral home was late, we thought they’d be courteous enough to give us a little more time but that’s far from what happen. At 5pm, they rudely started locking doors and letting us know we had to go. Incident 2: During the viewing As we’re in tears viewing our loved one, an employees comes into the viewing room with no mask on. We asked him where was his mask. His answer was “I wasn’t suppose to be in here.” The funeral home did not have fans or tissue for the family at all. In my opinion, those essentials matter! Incident 3: During the funeral As my uncle, Shaquita’s dad, viewed her during final viewing, the staff requested for him be moved to the side so that others can view. How can you tell a father to step aside during a time like this? Give him his time! That shows no compassion at all. During the preacher’s sermon, one staff member stood in a chair and removed the CD which displayed a slideshow of Shaquita’s photos from the television. That could’ve waited until after the the funeral. Incident 4: After the funeral As the attendees were leaving, a few stayed behind to gather enough strength to walk out. When you are grieving, it is easy to go into a panic attack so giving folks time to gather themselves is crucial. As we fanned and comforted my aunt, the staff begin yelling out “Let’s go! Let’s go.” Again, started locking doors and being rude. This is not a football game, it is a funeral! WE ARE GRIEVING. After my aunt gathered enough strength to walk to the car, the same staff member yelling in the building had locked the outside gates of the funeral home. At this point, we were furious! Incident 5: Burial As we were walking up to our seats and the pallbearers placed the coffin, the funeral home staff started lowering her down. Half the family hadn’t even walked up to the burial site yet! I’ve never been to a burial where lowering happens so fast. I’m use to hearing parting words, everyone puts flowers on the casket while it is up and then the lowering happens. I've never had to walk up to a deep hole to throw flowers down. That's a safety hazard. Immediately after, the staff rushed everyone back to the limousines… My question is: Did you all overbook? Why was everything so rushed? If there was a way to put 0 stars, I would. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone not even for a dog’s burial! Save your money. Your loved one deserves better. This place is a disgrace to the black community, I don’t care how long they’ve been in business… I wouldn’t treat my own worse enemy this way.

Kelly Stevenson: Awful customer service experience at an already difficult time for my family. The Hadley Davis staff did what they wanted to do their way and totally disregarded the wishes of our family. I have never been more shocked & hurt at a homegoing service in my life. If you are considering using Hadley Davis Funeral home, please choose another funeral home!! No family should have to go through what mind did in their time of sorrow.

Ray Scott: The Hadley Davis funeral home was the most disrespectful, unprofessional funeral home I’ve ever seen in my life!! My husband the brother of Shane Thompkins who service was held February 2nd , 2019 at 2:00pm was help is such a disrespectful way. My nieces and nephew, Shane’s children had to watch while their mother’s casket get turned, and turned with VERY LOUD popping sounds as if it was broken, while they hitting her in the head trying to lower it. It took many to get it lower. No one asked if the family wanted to do one last view before they close it too. Than here comes these women loud singing and taking over the service , pitting it in their own hands.(like they wasn’t asked to do that) Was a total disrespect !!!! This place should be closed down or under new Management!! This place made the worse first impression I’ve ever seen !!! Should be ashamed of themselves! This family is hurting and suffering from a loss and this is the way you handle your customers. I believe this family at this funeral home is in the wrong kind of business.

Alejandra Z. and Mr. Eric Maspons helped me solve a terrible situation in such an exceedingly professional manner, while also advocating tirelessly for my grandmother when another funeral home made a huge error with her after her passing. Mr. Maspons fought for her, and me, and made sure that she was taken care of as she deserved to be. Alejandra was kind, attentive, and assisted me in the best way during this time with my family. She is an amazing person and I don’t think I would have been able to go through it without her kind and reassuring words. I could never thank the Maspon family enough for how good they were to me navigating this process alone. Edwin Steer: I really enjoyed the service here. We had to do a zoom event included with the memorial on January 29th Saturday, 2022. The lady let us use a little room in the back so we could set up our laptops to do the zoom presentation for those in other states and in Honduras to be able to listen to the bible discourse and attend the viewing. Everything was great. THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE IS THAT GUY WHO SHOWS UP AT AROUND 7:30 WITH AN ATTITUDE INTERROGATING US ASKING WHY ARE WE IN THAT ROOM? WHY ARE YOU HERE? WHO SAID YOU COULD BE IN HERE? THEN HE WALKED AWAY WITH AN ATTITUDE. THAT'S MY ONLY COMPLAINT. Everything else was outstanding!

JM E: I would give them zero solely due to the following problem. During the pandemic, they do not offer virtual funeral options that even my tiny rural Midwestern hometown offered. Considering how easy it is to set up and they are located in a very large urban setting with substantial immigrant population, this is appalling to not offer this option to grieving families especially those with family members, who cannot physically be present due to coronavirus, logistics, or any other personal, problematic situation.

He suffered in the last 10 years of his life with various health complications, but nonetheless he deserved the respect of a full life well lived. NightmareAdventures: I am so very pleased with my interaction with both Alexis and Ken. Alexis was so pleasant, understanding and very comforting during the process of my mother's passing. From the pick-up at hospital, paperwork to the day of cremation, she was very professional and amazing. The day of the cremation they were very transparent and caring about what I was about to see once I went through the door to see my mommy for the last time. They made me feel comfortable and gave me time with to say my final goodbyes one more time before her cremation. I love how they took the time to brush mommy's hair and put it neatly back into a ponytail since that's how I had it for her when she passed away. I was called the next day to pick up mommy's ashes. Words can't begin to express how patient and understanding Ken was as he handed me mommy's ashes over to me. He even placed her in the back seat of my car and put the seat belt over her to ensure she would arrive home safely. The level of professionalism and empathy from both Alexis and Ken was outstanding! I highly recommend Florida Funeral Home and Crematory to anyone.

Ed Bar: Absolutely terrible service. I never take the time to write reviews but I was so disappointed and quite frankly disgusted by the service of this funeral home that I felt an obligation to write this. We very patiently waited an absurd amount of time for the cremation of a family member, 5+ weeks. Whenever we called to ask for the reason of this excessive delay (usually a process that takes less than a week), we were met with attitude or told we would get a call back which of course never happened. Cherry on top is we called several times to please cut the wedding ring off for us to keep which had a lot of sentimental value, we were told it was not a problem and not to worry. When we went to pick up the ashes, of course NO ring because "it was not in the paperwork" even though we called several times to make sure it was taken care of and told that it was. Heartbroken does not even begin to describe the feeling. Avoid this place like the plague, you don't deserve to go through this type of treatment after a family member's passing.

Marco Rangel: Do NOT trust your loved ones to this disgusting people. Alexis and Ken Adair are beyond disrespectful, dishonest and careless. A full scale inquiry and search of business practices has started against them and their practices. Ileana Munoz: My mother in law had made her cremation arrangements many years ago. Since it was so many years ago, we thought that perhaps the funeral home would try to nickel and dime us with unnecessary charges. We were so grateful to find kind and honest persons at this funeral home. We only had to pay a reasonable amount for the death certificates and I don't remember what else and $110 dollars to have the remains shipped from Miami, Florida to San Antonio, Texas. In my dealings with the funeral director, Ken Adair, he was always pleasant, kind and assisted us through this challenging time. There was one day that I called and left a message with the answering service, since it was later than I thought due to the time change, for a next day reply. Within a few minutes I received a call from Mr. Adair. Although this is an emotional process for families to go through, Mr. Adair and the support staff made everything simple and seamless. God bless them for their support, kindness and assistance during this trying period.

Blaxkboymeetsworld: Quintessentially the most unprofessional funeral I have ever been to. It would have been funny how unversed the home was on the funeral taking place if it were not for the fact that it was my grandma’s funeral. The pastor who performed the sermon made an allusion to bodies being like new cars driven off the lot losing value. It was weird, got convoluted when he veered into how he was a football player in his youth, and nobody needed to know that or the fact that a car is a depreciating asset, which for the record does not apply to people as they get older but hey. Bottom line, you only get to bury someone once so make sure you work with a home that knows this.

Jenna Halliwell: John Hanks is a wonderful individual and I cannot thank him enough for his help and services when my father passed away in 2018. It has taken me a while to write this review, but the memory of John’s professionalism, grace, compassion, and work ethic remains clear in my mind, even years later. My father’s wish was to be buried at sea in a casket, which is not an easy task to the untrained layperson. John made the process seamless and was extremely informative, upfront, compassionate and fair. He worked with myself, my mother and brother to make sure my father’s exact wishes were met. He organized everything and made sure that we were kept informed throughout the whole process. His his an honest and honorable man, and I can’t recommend him enough.
