Abbot Foreign Money Exchange: what do users think?

Karla Larrea: Best exchange rate in Miami. I always return here. Old place but still the best one, the man working there is super nice, respectful and honest.. Totally recommend this place!

Jesús Raydel Sánchez Rodríguez: Has anyone been here recently? I used to exchange money here many years ago and they certainly had the best rate anywhere in Miami, but I have been trying to get hold of them on the phone and no one answers.

blues rain: The best rate and service. I always go to this place and find the best rate. This is a treasure in Downtown area, and in Miami. You don’t find a better rate than Abbot Exchange. If you want to save money go to this place. The owner is always polite with me. Do not hesitate he is the best in Miami to exchange your currency without doubt.

joel lucoff: The exchange rate was only 2 cents above official for the €. I was in and out quickly. The cashier was efficient and the man I spoke with on the phone was helpful. The office is in the middle of downtown Miami, but I wouldn't go there after dark. Only complaint is the only bills in stock were €50 notes, nothing smaller. Needed some initial money before heading overseas

Tom Vandebroek: Best rates and very kind owner.

Maya Louzado: Best exchange rates in Miami! I compared multiple places when looking to purchase Euros and they had the best rate by far! Super quick and easy and will definitely be returning and recommending to everyone!

Lizbeth Farías Casanova: I've been going to this place for almost 18 years. Since it is Downtown parking is a little difficult to find right away but I always find it. Definitely the best rates in Miami.

Graciela Temes: Very poor customer service, in simple words VERY RUDE. The exchange rate was not that bad taking in consideration the current market rate but the owner of the place, "Peter", and one of the cashiers, who seems to be his wife, were extremely rude. I work close to their location and I could say that I send them daily about 4 to 5 tourists that stop by my work asking for a place where they can exchange currency in that area but definetly I won't recommend them anymore for such a bad service!!

Andy Ward: I have just shopped around today for currency as we ran out of dollars (other half overspending again!) We have been staying in an apartment in Brickell so looked at all the money exchanges nearby and this one had some good reviews. I still called 4 or 5 though to see who would give the best exchange from Euros to dollars and Abbott Foreign Money Exchange gave me a pretty much unbelievable rate over the phone. I actually deal in currency a lot back in Europe where I live so know a thing or two about changing cash and I very doubt I would have done better back there! As previously mentioned its not a fantastic area but it is very safe during office hours and was just a 5 minute walk for us downtown. I really cannot see how any other exchange would beat what I was given today - I changed 500€ and they gave me a rate 7c better than another exchange I called - 7c! Thats a huge difference! Plus no "fees" or any other charges - just a straight exchange rate - definitely worth visiting if you have money to change in Miami.

Joshua Posada: I exchanged Dollars for Argenitian pesos at 3.93 while all the other exchange locations were offering me 3.2 for my exchange. The exchange rates are above competitive. Having now read the previous reviews i am amazed more people don't know about this treasure.

Euro Exchange USA - Downtown Miami: what do users think?

Yaron Efraim: This is so far the best money exchange in South Florida!! I 've been changing my money with them for the last 6 years! Every time I need to change dollar ( not only for euro, they change every currency) I get with them.. They are the best, very responsible, trustworthy and always the best currency in the market!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Alfredo Pino: Very professional, fast and efficient. They even have a “Valet Parking” free for the first 20 minutes. Also they will give you exactly the currency exchange rate for that day. You just “google it”, call them and compare it to the price they offer. I’ve done it twice with them and they match it perfectly...

Erick Maitin Morales: 11/22 Disappointed. The rate was so high compared with the dolar/Euro market exchange. The answer received was they bought at highest price.

evelyn chabelis: I called about 8 places in the Miami area this is the only place that gives the best for your money! The others are scams and tourist traps! I suggest everyone to look out for their money. I got 877.5 euros for 1000 usd.The best rate anywhere in Miami the others offered 810-825 euros at most!

Mark Robinson: BEST RATES IN ALL OF DOWNTOWN!!!! I highly recommend this exchange house to anyone looking to exchange currencies. Its best to call and make sure they have the currency you need before going. Parking garage directly in front of the store pretty cheap, street parking if your lucky.

Yessika Rodriguez: The girl at the front was awesome and super helpful. It was my first time having to exchange for Euros! She helped me out so much and they did have the best rate!

Rebecca Simone: I am thankful I found EuroExchange. There are a few other currency exchange locations in the area, however this one never fails to impress me with its efficiency, availability, and customer service. The employees are always willing to help me out with the exchanges I need, and give me the best, most honest rates. Would highly recommend!!

Julia Drottar: I am extremely impressed with the customer service this exchange house has. It was the first time i was truly happy to exchange my dollars into foreign currencies. The young man and woman working there really made the experience that much better. Fyi i walked the whole block to compare rates and i ended up back here. I changed Euro(EUR), British pounds(GBP), and Swiss Francs(CHF).

Joseph Michaels: I've recently needed to purchase Euro's and I stumbled upon Euro Exchange over the internet when searching for currency exchange boutiques in downtown Miami. To my surprise I was blown away by their customer service and impressed with their competitive prices on currencies. I requested what would be considered a rare currency and they were able to acquire it in a timely matter. I also needed Euro's at the same moment and was able to get them at a very good price. It was worth the travel from Boca but I was happily informed that Euro Exchange even offers a great service where they can ship the currency to my home.

Jackie Calvo: Best rate in area and good service. Provided tips on recommended denominations and showed us how to spot counterfeit bills while traveling. They also deliver.

Miami Dade County Property Appraiser: what do users think?

EJ H: I asked a question that applies to all counties regarding Save Our Homes 3% cap. One person was helpful, but transferred me someone with more knowledge... they hung up on me because the example property was not in Dade County. If you have a 'granny flat' and granny dies, obviously the 'granny flat' deduction is no longer applicable, but now does the 'granny flat' also loose it's 3% cap on assessed value after the increase. In other words... you now have 2-living units on one parcel is the 'granny flat' now not homesteaded and subject to the 10% cap?

Maria A.: If the office calls in response to our Email message I will be pleased. So far, many of our attempts to utilize the office's website Contact Form "tool" do NOT appear to have worked ... does not transmit.

Marcelo Canavati: I am amazingly surprised with the service, you really can't believe that it is an actual government's office. I've called 3 times now and I have waited less than a minute for someone to pick up, the staff is very knowledgeable and with a fantastic attitude. I wish all government's offices were like this!

Maria Villa: Critical: Professionalism, QualityThe rudest customer center. They need to be retrained because they have terrible attitude. They will hang up if they feel like they do not want to keep assisting.

Augusto Vi.: Got stuff I needed it. Pretty user-friendly

Harvey Bernstein: I returned call several times and left several messages, but no one ever called back.

Mauritzio Levin: Best run county office. Everyone is always so helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Definitely not the norm.

Iris N/A: Great to be able to check your name

Hope Reynolds: Miami Dade County Property Appraiser's website has gained recognition nationwide as it offers all details on real estate. Pedro Garcia, Property Appraiser is knowledgeable, helpful and has the best interest at heart to help Seniors stay living at home.

SDP: An indispensable tool, I use this sight on a regular basis, it saves me so much leg work.

MIAMI Association of REALTORS - Headquarters: what do users think?

Joel Gandara: The customer service that the Miami Association of Realtors gives its members is unreal. I called recently for help and had the phone on speaker. When I finished the call, my wife asked me, "You were calling somewhere in Miami?". She has never heard that level of service in South Florida and was shocked. Wish all places gave such quick, effective and friendly service.

Patricia Vega Real Estate Agent: Great Clases. Great board. Awesome instructors. Limited access to sell mobile homes without folio. But you can sell businesses that nor include the actual property. Insane.

Maggie Cortada: The reason for the 1 Star is that If the broker is part of the association then all the realtors under that broker needs to be part of of their very expensive association or they will fine the. Broker. This very money hungry tactic. Not all realtors do Real Estate on A Full time Basis therefore it is not with it for the realtor to pay such an expensive membership.

Skylar tunes: Sorry i have to give you 1 star if there was a zero i would give that. You have a realtor shelly aysen katluay lopez under your establishment. She is a liar and a thief. She rented me a home in boca that was infested to several different kinds of molds per the mold tech mold was infested wat before i got in i was pregnant and living there with my family i had to vacate the premises without an extra underwear and when i talk ro her she told me i should be lucky im not in Haiti. After that she throw out everything that i owned and now running from the law because i want my stuff back. This has been since 2016 and i try to be professional but she has not contacted me and i have tried several times to get to her and she refuses to take my calls. She is a liar and a thief, thats not a good reflection on your company.

Susan: The Miami Association of Realtors board dues are a huge ripoff. The agents living in Kendall, Pinecrest, Aventura, Miami Beach, Sunny Isles Beach, Bal Harbour, Bay Harbor Islands, Surfside, Miami Shores, North Miami, North Miami Beach, Hallandale, Golden Beach, etc. don't even have a board location to serve them. The executives of the MAR are constantly traveling around the world on the board member's money but can't provide a location to serve the thousands of members living in those forgotten areas. (The heads of the board are traveling for free to places like Paris, Italy, London, Dubai, Russia, throughout the U.S., etc. claiming they are building relations with those countries.) With over 23,000 members, the board can certaintly afford to rent some office space for members to attend training and hear lectures. Where are all the millions of dollars paid annually to the board going? The lectures are almost always a waste of time, as it's a sales pitch to bring in more money for the board. I doubt the MAR pays the lecturers anything. However, the board members are charged anywhere from $15.00 to several hundred dollars per lecture. By the way, the Miami Association of Realtors was sued by the Ft. Lauderdale, Palm Beach, and Jupiter Board of Realtors for dishonestly snagging away members of their boards by offering them free incentives, which the MAR members were never offered, in an effort to lure them away from their boards. I'm sure the MAR CEO's never paid out a dime of their own money for this lawsuit. It surely came out of the board member's money. And on another note, if you have any problems dealing with a dishonest Miami Association of Realtors' board member, don't expect the board to assist you, they won't. The board personnel and realtors on the arbitration and mediation committees couldn't care less and dishonest politics are involved. It's too bad that real estate salespeople are forced by their brokers to join the board at $700.00 + dollars a year for salespeople, more for brokers. Almost every seminar and event will cost extra.

Victoria Pando: Used to be a nice place to go to take classes.. now is closed due to Covid-19.

Carlos: If you are a realtor this is a great place to be associated with, how ever prices $$$ are extremely high I wish they could cut us a break overall service is very good.

Racet Coto: as a board member myself I keep up to date with the current real estate technology so that I can provide the outmost service to my customers.

Janiya Dozier: I gave it five stars because it a community pool and they pool always clean the thing I dont like about it is that they open to late

Mott Marvin Kornicki: This is the largest Realtor Association in the United States! Been a proud member since 1978.

Miami Beach Code Compliance: what do users think?

Daniel Cruz: Instead of cleaning and having the streets clean for everyone, they are out here going to Nike and buying stuff. That is where our tax money goes to lazy workers that don't do nothing job related. During their job hours mind you.

Amanda Knapp: Officer Ramirez was amazing! I called code conpliance and the next day I was personally informed by officer Ramirez that'd he'd issues 2 violations. Shortly after...the property cleaned up their grounds. Thank you MB CC and Officer Ramirez!

G Q: They quickly took my information over the phone regarding the SETAI HOTEL violating the Covid19 mask enforcement at the pool bar (Manager MIKE and other pool bar associates not wearing the mask and putting hotel guest at risk) and they came to the hotel quickly! THANK YOU Miami Beach code enforcement so much for helping at keeping our city of Miami Beach safe.

Jay Man: You call them on the same one issue. And they promise you that they will enforce this simple problem. The problem is that it's not safe to walk your dog on Pinetree Park.Where there are fenced in areas for your Dog over 25lbs,And area for dogs under 25lbs.But the problem is and this is very serious because Dogs are running free off the leash and it's clearly posted that you cant have your dog off the leash only in the fenced in areas. We are having dogs attacking other dogs with there ignorant owners saying O that never happened before. There used to be a man giving out tickes,But not for over a year now.Beware of ignorant people with there dogs running loss.

James galv: I live next to a construction site and they start working every day before 8 AM, I contacted Code Compliance, supposedly the officer was outside, not true they insisted he was there, no he wasnt. The rats, dust and noise from the construction is awful, nothing was done.

David Munoz: They dont come and enforce as often as they should.

darien chalecki: Great view of Jewish synagogue

Kevin G: Rude and time wasters
