British Consulate General Miami: what do users think?

greg uzoezi: Very pleasant staff here! Shane chose a later time for our interview, because he knew we had a long drive to get here. He did it without our even asking for it! Service was smooth, straightforward and rapid. Couldn't ask for more!

Anna Poulter: We came here and we were met by one of the most loveliest lady we could have asked to deal with. Sandy helped us get emergency passport after they were stolen. She was an absolute dream boat. She was so empathetic and understanding. The way she was eliminated all the stress we felt before arriving. Thank you so so much! There is parking underneath the building. You pay on exit. You arrive and go to the lobby, check in and the security guard will then allow you to go up the 28th floor.

Dave Kelly: The current UK advice to British Citizens living and working in the US who need to return is non-existent . This is completely unacceptable the British Government need to get a grip and start providing some concrete advice to their Citizens who are in vulnerable positions overseas. The consulate should be providing is with a sense of security, not admitting that they don't know what is happening and that no plans are in place. Extremely disappointing and worrying - get a grip quickly please!

george mero: Contact via website?? Really. We want to know what we need to do to get home from the USA. We are quite happy to stay here as we feel it might be safer. We are trying to get hold of our travel insurance company but guess what? We can’t get through

Michael H: Just the worst ....unable to get communication simply too frustrating ...I understand doing app online ,but always nice to clearly be informed with a live person. Called NYC..same recording Called Miami same recording. I actually went to the French Embassy in Indianapolis, I was in and out just shortly over an hour...much better service, system. As i like to say more USER FRIENDLY. M

Peter Gough: TYPICAL BRIT CIVIL SERVANT ATTITUDE. THEY WON'T TALK TO YOU WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. THEN HAVE TO JUMP THROUGH HOOPS TO EVEN GET TO A LIVE PERSON. THEY NEED A DONALD TRUMP OVER HERE! i CAN WALK IN AND CONSULT PEOPLE AT AN IRISH CONSULATE BUT THE BRITS!

Kiran Wellfare Holiday World: Hi sir, I'm a indian passport holder now, Iam studying at George town, iam going to india via Fort lauderdale Florida , is it mandatory to take transit visa my routing is George town to Fort Lauderdale to Dubai to India.

Debbie Clarke: No help what's so ever. Just a answer machine. No good in an emergency

Ailsa Dixon: lovely lady who got me my emergency passport when mine was stolen. the number does work

Michael Robson: These people never answer in person it’s hopeless.

Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany: what do users think?

DJI Mavic 4K: Excellent and prompt service. We have booked an appointment in advance, collected all the documents. It was a swift check in during our appointment day, short wait in the line and great interaction with J. She was very helpful during the process and also when we missed some of the paperwork. The visa was done very fast. Thank you.

Never Hopefully: It was a good experience. I came 15 minutes earlier. So I had to wait for my appointment at 9:15. Checked in with the guards no problem at all. Was no wait. Just make sure you got the right password with pictures with no teeth shown lol. Otherwise wonderful!

Pri Nce: I am trying to call them for a whole week! Nobody is answering the phone, after you are waiting on hold, you get the answer “we are sorry, but we are very busy at the moment, please call again later” we’ll I did! A whole week! And if you try to make an appointment online, you have a waiting period of 2 months!! This clearly shows, that they are massively understaffed in a state that is full with Germans OR the current staff is not working (German bureaucracy) I can just hope, that this will change someday and I can change my review

Rose B. Wack: Very professional and friendly! How wonderful and nice I was treated! Even my appointment was made only a short time before, this lady taking care of me was incredible fast and efficient. The building is under construction, but it was early in the morning, got a parking space in the center, right in front of the building. $ 3.50/hr. They charge $7.00 for the first 2 hours, credit card payment possible with your license plate number, also cash.

Rob Rebholz: The security staff is great. The rest: German bureaucracy at it's best. Rude, lots of paper, complicated. Oh and they charge absurd processing fees.

Saddam Al-Kaddah: Friendly and knowledgeable staff. If you have all your required documentation and photos ready to go, you will be in and out in no time.

Olha Rodd: They went out of their way to help me with an urgent request and everyone was very pleasant to work with. Thank you for your service!

Chris Kippenberger: embodies every horrible german stereotype imaginable. (coming from a german citizen) at the end of the day these people are civil servants here to help the citizens of germany abroad. i’m sorry to say but it’s almost as they go out of their way to be unhelpful.

Christopher Gema: The staff here are very helpful. Went to do my paternity acknowledgement for my daughter who was born and lives and Germany and they helped me every step of the way of the process. One of the best German consulate I've been too and they offer a wide variety of services.

Danny Lopez: Wow, if I could give zero stars I absolutely would. This place is a joke, they barely work, they don't answer the phone, they don't answer emails, they have no answers to any questions, they don't answer the phone, the hide behind glass. They treat people like garbage! They should be ashamed! They make the American government look like rockstars! They are pathetic and everyone there should be replaced. So unhelpful I couldn't believe. Every answer to each of my questions was, "I don't know," "I don't work there," "That's not my job," etc...... How about helping, making a phone call, finding out, just not looking like a deer in the headlights. The person that helped us looked like a college student that just came to Miami to party and get out of Germany! I can't blame them!!!!

Consulate General of the Netherlands: what do users think?

MI “Tumble Grump” Verhof: Friendly staff! Fast help, sometimes long wait. Parking entrance in front of building on Brickell. The best Parking to visit the Consulate General of The Netherlands is to park your car BELOW the building. Arrive at the front, and drive up on the furthest right side of the entrance. Always place to park your car and parking prices per hour are very reasonable. If you have an appointment with the Consulate General of The Netherlands, bring your parking ticket and they will give you a free pass. ONLY if you have an appointment and you have to ask for it. Easy access from parking garage to consulate with internal elevator.

Monique Martinez: I thought that the staff was very friendly here. I had no problems getting an appointment or submitting my paperwork. My passport arrived at my home 10 days later. Amazing! If you have to travel for passport renewal, I would recommend choosing the Miami office. Just make sure that you read through the requirements very carefully before you go.

Family Graham: Within 2 weeks we had a passport for our minor. Service is quick and easy, easy to find too. Be prepared for crazy trafic and high parking fees. ($18,- for 1.5hrs) Passport photo shop is not far and reasonable priced. ($20,- for 4) We had a great experience. Dankjewel!

David Paul: Stellar phone service and quick appt! Need to update website though that only certain credit/debit cards are accepted. Had to go back down to get cash.

asheefeet gaming: I was so scared at first since appointments are so far and few between; however the lady was so nice and patient with me.

Roanne Lourens: Great help from Rudy today on the phone, i got the answers i needed and even some tips on how to make my process easier. Thanks again Rudy!

Anna Scalzi: My phone experience with this office has been exceptional. Questions were answered quickly and professionally.

David Huibregtse: My experience with this office has been exceptional good, Dank je well.

mike suarez: Used their service twice already ... very nice place ... ty

Ss R: Very unprofessional and not helpful.

Consulate General of Jamaica: what do users think?

Nick Hylton: I worked with "concierge" Mr Carter in the waiting area. His service was pleasant & well mannered. The wait was short & the process was pretty smooth. 💯 🤯 no credit cards or business checks accepted... 🤔 makes no sense. Photographer on-site down the hallway... just in case you don't have your own pics... like me. His service was good as usual (Balance aka picture-tek). (He worked for me on a past project) 😆

Kaydene Surgeon: Excellent service, very friendly and polite staff. The process was easy and the wait wasn’t long. Clean and safe environment. Keep up the good work.

Renee Hussey: First off, I have to start off by commending the professionalism and promptness showcased by the staff especially Dennis and Sharon. I made several calls to the office and all concerns/questions I had were prioritized and I was given such a speedy response i honestly is still pleasantly surprised. This team is a great example of warm Jamaican hospitality. Keep up the good work!

Mizz Marvelous: First of all let me say how pleasantly surprised I was at the professionalism of the team that was working there.. everyone was super friendly and polite from the doorman, agent’s ..straight down to security and the photo person! I made my appointment and the only time available was three months away I got there very early because I didn’t have a form.. when I got there, there was one other person in front of me and the lady acknowledge my presence. I got through efficiently and timely but what I was disappointed in was The fact that they were accepting walk-ins after I waited so many months for an appointment… there was no one there why go through such a long waiting process to get an appointment and you can simply walk in 🤦🏽‍♀️ although personally, I wouldn’t take my chances but a gentleman walked in right behind me and got serviced right away!

Antoneil Bailey: First off, Mr. Carter & Ms. Turner deserve much respect & gratitude. They both are the only persons in that build that knows how to handle situations & be very nice while doing so. I visited the consulate on January 12, 2022 I was told my passport would take up 6-8 weeks to get back. Today is March 30, 2022 going on to April & no sign or update as to what’s going on. I’m not a review person, but this was needed to get out along with a lot others that I’ve seen with the same situation. Our country Jamaica while never be better because the biggest problems are within the higher ranking category of our nation. Secondly, why is there a contact number provided if it’s not gonna be answered, I’ve called everyday for the pass 1 week within business hours, even went as far as email not really expecting an answer on that though but phone call. All those 5 stars must be paid to leave those stars because not just the lack of communication, their attitude there is very stink (VERY). Instead of things get easier & better for Jamaica it gets worse by the day! Who has an appointment to go there, I recommend finding another route.

Jayda Foxx: My visit on 11 May was surprisingly a pleasant experience. I say this do to the reputation of employees of Jamaican businesses in the US to be Curt and unpleasant. My observations while in the waiting area shows that most of the challenges and frustrations that customer face is clearly a lack preparation and some minor mistakes on our part. Subsequently the agents were more than willing to assist in attacking these challenges. Very professional. Congrats to vice-consul Vance Carter and his team including the photographer. Special thanks to Anthony for his courtesy and attentiveness. Janette

Lloyd McPherson: The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Process were much easier and simpler that expected. Carter was such a friendly and customer oriented person. Always willing to help and assist. Top Notch

Shemoi Coley: The entire staff at this location was awesome Mr Carter, Miss Turner the photographer (Rasta Man) offer an exceptional service. I drove almost 4 hours to this location, and the trip was worth it. If I could give 10 ⭐️s I would. Keep that flag🇯🇲 Flying high

Anifa: If I could give this consulate location 0 stars I would. Having EXCELLENT Customer service both over the phone and in person, is the most VITAL part of running an establishment successfully. I sent in passports for renewal and called in twice to check the status as it has been past the 6-8 week timeframe. After dealing with the aggravating automated system, I was placed on extended holds multiple times by an agent without warning, even while I was still talking. There was no active listening or empathy, as I kept having to repeat myself and I was spoken to rudely and interrupted while talking. This is appalling. Good customer service is such a basic requirement, but it shouldn't be this hard for you all to provide. Do better.

Stacy-Ann Thomas: Ms. Turner and Mr. Carter were very personable. They interacted with us on a level that showed they understand the tenets of good customer service. The older lady with a low cut hairdo working as a passport officer is the reason for my two stars. She was extremely condescending, impatient and appeared generally unwelcoming to her clients. She is doing a disservice to the Consulate and needs to be retrained or reclassified.

Consulate General of Guyana: what do users think?

Colleen Clarke: I'm not sure who is running this place but they need to be removed and hire someone who can actually run a consulate. If you're try to call the phone goes straight to voicemail, it does not ring. If you all are in need of help please reach out to me. I'm willing to volunteer so that other can be service unlike myself. Please note I only gave 1 star because the system would not allow me to post without it. Oh and please don't Covid as the excuse as why phone are not being answered or no one at the office as this has been going on for several years now.

Kathleen Tewari: I visited this office several times, and even called on the phone. The consulate is the most kind and helpful person.Answers all your questions and always explains things to you. I never had a problem. She came out of her office to the vehicle to do a finger print for a wheelchair person. The office may not be in the best location, but hey you get your stuff done.

SkyAngel FlyGirl: Location is not the issue. Phone rep is always polite and helpful when answer phone previously to our visit. 10:16am. Website shows open at 10am. Currently 10:23am 3 calls left messages no call back. All 3 doors closed. No signs of any office reps. 3 hrs drive here. Not sure if they will even open today.SMH. So disappointed! 10:39am received a call back from the kind rep was told closed for phagwha and can meet up with us to get transaction put in process.🙏 thank god. Based on that i will give 4 stars. Happy Holi Kind Lady🙏

Shazam Ali: Its not the best location or the best looking place but the people operating it are amazing. Very professional and selfless. I know its a horrible location but it gets the job done and its better than nothing. That building is private owned and is operated by volunteers so its not the people but our worthless guyanese officials.

Slick Willy: The picture is of the front of the building, the entrance is on the side of the building. My living room might be bigger than the entire office. look for the tire shop with the rent a drunks working, it is right across the street. Guyanese embassy/used furniture/tire shop.

Michael Clarkson: Found this on the website!

Consulate General of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Miami: what do users think?

Veronica Pugh formerly McKenzie: Making the trip to the Consulate General of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in Miami was worth trip. The staff members were all very helpful and professional. Consulate General of Suriname: what do users think?

Marcus De Freitas: Only worth 0. Stars. No one answers the phone. Called to report that my wife who was born in Suriname was charged for a Tourist visa online and after arriving in Suriname was told by the Immigration Officer at the Airport that she do not need a visa because she was born in Suriname even though she has USA citizenship. Disappointed that VFS, the online site that issues the visa was not aware of this change in the rules and refuse to issue refunds.

wadda: I would put 0 stars if possible The voicemail box is not monitored. Your call gets forwarded to an automated box that tells you to please hang up because the message box is full. When the voicemail box is not full you get some old, tired, bored and lazy sounding lady telling you the hours of the place. Whoever's in charge of this operation is just in Miami on vacation essentially. They don't care at all about their fellow countrymen. Just your typical Surinamese politician. And I'm confident no one from the consulate will ever read this review. It's a shame. Update: Google for some reason has assigned me as the owner of this business. (It is not possible to remove an affiliation from google business, this is a google problem) This means that no one working at the consulate general has ever linked this business with an email belonging to the consulate general. These people are a complete joke. Typical Surinamese gouvernement issues

Irina Gerasimova: Came at 2 pm: everything is closed. They say they are open Monday 9-4 ... nope, not a chance, and no one picks up the phone

Min R: Great customer service was provided to me ! 😃

Amit Mangroe: Never get to talk to someone.

Consulate General of Japan in Miami: what do users think?

Archit Archit: I had a horrible experience calling the consulate. Every question I tried to ask the lady cut me off and told me to go to the website. I was trying to find out info on the Visas and Covid restrictions as I was finding conflicting information online. After about two minutes of getting no answers she said I was obstructing her job and hung up the phone. I called back and she hung up again. Please hire someone who is polite, professional, and has some customer service experience. I’m sure this is not the experience anyone wants to have before even setting foot in the country

JOHN MCCOY: The Consulate General of Japan in Miami and its representatives are currently under investigation by the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Florida Commission on Human Rights for discrimination. (See photos) As a number of other reviewers have noted, the consulate and its representatives engage in discrimination, and I encourage those who experience discrimination to file a complaint. The Florida Commission on Human Rights receives thousands of complaints per year but only investigates those deemed to have sufficient cause. In the case represented in the photos, the commission determined sufficient cause and invited the consulate to mediation. To date, the consulate has declined to participate in mediation, preferring apparently to hide their injustice in cowardly manner, thereby reflecting poorly on themselves and the nation they represent.

Shane Reustle: The people who answer the phone will do everything in their power to get rid of you without helping. おもてなし

srini gypsy: Staff including the security were pleasant, polite, efficient, and of course thorough as embassies should be. I made an appointment and everything was done perfectly on time.

Jen: I want to say I had the best experience with the staff at the Japanese embassy, the lady who helped me in the Visa and passport office absolutely went above and beyond for my mother and I." And that my mother living in Okinawa"Thank you so much,to her and her wonderful customer service.I wish I would have gotten her name.ありがとうございます🤗💕

pham tien dat: Great service! I am a foreigner, who stayed in Japan for over 7 year and just moved to Florida, US. All staff there are so nice. The first time a man spent almost two hours with our family members for fingerprints without any complaints if we did any mistakes and no fee. I found the Japanese standard styles there, which are absolutely similar when staying in Japan. They answer emails, calls very fast and professional. Wish all staff health and stay safe during the pandemic. Sincerely yours,

Harumi Hansted: Very informative and very helpful for answering questions and fast appointment.

Just Me: They absolutely discriminate you!!! If you are from any USSR countries its just they don’t tell you that straight! they pretend working on your docs so you will waste your time ,money going back and forward but they will not give you visa. We prepared everything i mean everything,we had extra what they actually asked(we had layover in Japan 3 nights only and accommodations were paid and back tickets were also paid ) took our passport, made us come few times,And keep asking and asking to bring more and more documents and then returning back passport saying we are sorry. They question why if we had everything paid and all documents which they asked were presented they said they cant tell us why. We had to buy new tickets because we lost previous tickets since we didn’t get visa. Attitude of people who accept documents are nasty as well.Terrible experience in general!!!!

Allan Lobo: Ive applied for a japanese visa at this location 6 times already, and everytime is very smooth, if they do request extra documents i provide them fast and they respond fast, great embassy in my opinion.

V. M.: BEWARE - I got rejected for a Japanese visa although I was beyond qualified (February 2016). I hold a passport of Ukraine and have a USA green card. My friend who has a passport of Moldova plus a USA green card also got rejected for zero reason. The Japanese do NOT disclose the reason for declining a visa and do not let you appeal their decision either. Both my friend and I were going to travel to Japan with our USA citizen husbands (them two did not require a visa). My friend with a passport of Russia plus a USA green card got approved for her Japanese visa (May 2016). I have a strong suspicion my Moldova friend and I were discriminated against because of our nationality.

Bahamas Consulate General Miami: what do users think?

Arian Lundy: The worse experience of my life, imagine my father was on his dieing bed and I had been contacting this office since is was 23 years of age and it is sad that I am now 29 years of age I consistently continued to reach out to this office patiently awaiting for the passport officer to call me and he never did. Now my father is dead and this office still has failed to to reach out to me in regards to applying for my passport as I am a Bahamian citizen. I needed and emergency travel to attend the funeral as I am in Florida and need to get to south andros to bury my father. I have nothing left !

Ancil Cox: When I went for my appointment both time. I didn't get the gentleman name that was working on March 30,2022. But he was very helpful and made my day better than the one I was having at that time. I really appreciate all is help.

Shera B.: Well it is hard to make contact. The phone lines rings rarely anyone picks up. You practically have to go into the lobby to make contact with customer service. Not too mention you have to make an appointment just to ask questions replacing a stolen passport. My husband and I have been running back and forth between MDPD and the Bahamian Consulate. Both department sends you back and forth between them.

nakia long: The lady that was trying to help me DID NOT KNOW WHAT SHE WAS DOING.. they gave me the run around and made me feel like they were trying not to help me..something that was so simple she made difficult.. I dred going to this place because I get the same feeling all the time I won’t say her name but just know she’s the brown skin woman with the short cut..DIFFICULT

Shirlene Rolle: Mr. Williams was especially pleasant. He should be in The Ministry of Tourism, Miami.

Shadell Mcdonald: These people do not answer phone calls!!!!! I’ve been trying to get my passport done for 7months now!! When they finally answered, I told them the situation. I can never get an appointment online! They said try the 25th of every month. I did that and their was still no appointment slot available!!!! This is ridiculous! I need my passport done!

Kia J: I received my passport and it's beautiful. I went into the office and handle all the paperwork. I didn't have everything I needed and since i lived out of town the ladies worked with me. I was allowed to fax/email over my missing documents. They went above and beyond and I appreciate them. Only critique i would give was that i was contacted later to take another passport photo which i didn't know. They said my ears wasn't showing. I wish i knew that before i left i would have taken new ones. It delayed my process a bit but otherwise Great Job!

SnrCaribe: I called the office twice to be sure I had everything I needed to renew my passport before I drove here. I got here and still was missing a document. The ladies behind the counter worked with me after I told them how long it took to get there, and that the receptionist did not provide me with accurate information. Not just me, but several people in the waiting room were turned away because they were missing documents. It goes back to the receptionist. She's simply not doing a good job. She rarely answers the phone and she's unprofessional. I suggest getting a new receptionist and training him/her to have the answers to important questions, take notes and make your staff aware of our questions and concerns. That way, when we call to follow-up on important matters, you all aren't scrambling around trying to figure out what's going on.

Toni J: Marcia at the passport window is the WORST, she's not only rude but she also lies. This lady processed a renewal for myself and my daughters passport, called back 3 weeks later and told me they were ready to be picked up. I then drive 2 hours to get to Miami to be told my passport is ready but my daughter's passport isn't because my mothers affidavit is not certified. Lie number 1, how is that they used the very same affidavit to process my passport but when its needed for my daughters passport you say it's not certified? Then to make matters worse, I call the passport office in Nassau this morning to inquire further on this matter and they told me Marcia never even attached my mothers affidavit to my daughters application. Instead of her admitting she didn't do things correctly she decided to lie. There was never even a call made to me to say information was incorrect or missing, however Marcia claimed she called twice, yet I received no missed calls and definitely no messages from this office. Very unprofessional and terrible encounter, I pray I never have to encounter her again.

Rolando Ramos: Very disappointed with the Bahamian consulate. At Youfit we held a hurricane relief drive for the Bahamians after hurricane Dorian. We collected non perishable foods, bottled water, diapers, flashlights, batteries, toiletries, etc. As he reached the end of our drive we reached out to the Bahamian consulate to schedule a pickup. On our initial call we were assured someone from the consulate would call us and schedule a pickup. After weeks of being hung up on, left on hold for more than ten minutes, leaving numerous messages to receive no call back, no one from the consulate ever reached back To us. We are going to just donate the supplies to people in the area now. I would not expect this from the Bahamian consulate. It seems like they don’t care for the Bahamians that are there without these basic necessities. To say the least, they are extremely unprofessional.

Consulate General of Romania: what do users think?

Teodora Fornade: Reverend Father Stefan Stoleru and I are extremely thankful and grateful to the Romanian Consulate team particularly his Excellency Mr. General Council Catalin Ghenea for making the trip out to Jacksonville. Over a jammed packed weekend, they handled an outstanding number of requests from our entire Romanian community which they not only completed in real time but handled with grace and a friendly smile. We thank you all sincerely for making the effort, taking the time out of your weekend and being so immensely helpful to our Jacksonville Romanian community. We look forward to having you back soon! With great respect and admiration, Preoteasa Teodora and Rev Father Stoleru

George M: We had a very good experience with the staff especially with the lady at the desk who called me up 1 week in advance to rectify my online appointment Thank you very much for your service George M

Ionela Paun: Mr. Ghenea is truly an amazing human being, he went above and beyond to help us with an issue we had. He is so kind, respectful, patient and very professional, it was such a pleasure meeting him.

D Ra (DR): This is one of the worst experience I had trying to renew my passport. The lady that I talked to was arrogant, pedantic and refused to acknowledge the problems we have with the online system. She also refused to allow me to use any English words (remind you, we have IT words that are universally English; plus what is the injury, we are in the US). Not only their online application process is mired with mistakes and difficulties, when trying to explain what the problems we face, they act like we are mentally challenged. She did not listen, she was arrogant, and not helpful.

Marius Smarandache: Thank you Miami consulate team for helping with my application. The process outlined online was easy to follow the appointment on the day worked very smooth.

g o: The real estate power of attorney needed was done timely and correctly, and the transaction was finalized without a glitch. Camelia was able to creatively work around the consulate's website communication limitations and make it possible for me to proactively upload the POA for review and edits prior to our appointment, in order for delays to be avoided. She acted confidently and respectfully as a knowledgeable problem solver with excellent people skills. My expectations, set by a negative experience at the LA consulate many years ago, were very low, so it was a great relief to encounter a different attitude this time around. Great job, thanks, and keep it up!

Micky Trifanescu: I would like to express my gratitude to Ms. Camelia Constantinescu for handling my case with so much care and helping in any possible way to solve it faster, which was greatly appreciated. Outstanding service!! I was so impressed with the level of professionalism she executed everything. Thank you so much for representing România so wonderfully!

Orlando Stefanacudis (Orlandos): We had a very pleasant experience. We were there to renew our Romanian passports and miss Camelia Constantin demonstrated very good customer service and she was very pleasant, we didn’t have to wait and were served very quick and professional!!! Nice job Romania, great services!

Corina Sangermano: I could not be more grateful to the Consulat of Romania and especially to Mrs. Camelia Constantinescu whom went above and beyond to help me with a power of attorney and with a very complicated situation that I found myself in after many years of ignoring it any kicking the can down the road… Finally I think that I am on the right track and with God’s will I’ll be able to record all my papers back home and one day get a Romanian passport! Good luck of all of you in delicate situations and don’t hesitate to call the Consulat in Miami, they are very knowledgeable and extremely professional and helpful! Camelia is very passionate about helping her people…

Roxie: Great experience! Needed to renew my romanian Passport and everything was solved really fast! As long as you read all the details on the website and you provide all the necessary documents online, they'll replay in less than 24h and you'll have an appointment the next day. Also outstanding customer service provided by the ladies in the office! Thank you and God Bless ✌

Consulado Del Uruguay: what do users think?

DESHBIR BHANDARI: Very quick and efficient. Well done !

Sofia Russi: The only reason I am leaving 5 stars, is because of Monica. She is truly the best employee they have. She takes the time to listen to your issue, and finds solutions that fit with your situation. She is not RUDE, she does not TALK over you, she does not give you sarcastic answers. She goes above and beyond and I will ask for her every time i have to deal with this office. She is remarkable, and all the rest of the staff should take note on what Customer service is.

Roger Yanez: Was excellent!!! Every sigle time I'm need to come here, was an amazing experience, very professional and careful personal

The toxic gamer tv Mori: No se merecen ni 1 malisimo es service Asta para llamar tiene hora aparte de el mes de demora para la sita ponganle ojo😂😂👀👀 My bad The worst service ever a month to make an appointment plus never answer the phone thanks you this is for thos they comment in urs Second language

Victor Andre Kong: I disagree with the bad comments. I go frequently and I think the employees are very nice and try to help you when they can. There is usually not a long line when I go.

Robert room: SUPER SLOW! I WENT & THE SYSTEM WAS NEW AND THEY DIDNT KNOW HOW TO WORK IT. MAKING THE PROCESS EXTREMELY SLOW. AT THE END OF MY APPT. THEY COULDN'T EVEN FINISH MY PROCESS BECAUSE THEY CLAIMED THE SYSTEM WAS ACTING UP AND NOT WORKING. THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD CALL ME WITHIN THE DAY WHEN THE SYSTEM WAS BACK UP. THEY NEVER CALLED ME. I CAME IN THE NEXT DAY EARLY IN THE MORNING AND SHE TOLD ME I WAS GOING TO HAVE TO COME BACK ON MONDAY BECAUSE THE SYSTEM WAS STILL DOWN. SHE DIDN'T EVEN CALL ME TO TELL NOTIFY ME THIS! I CAME IN FOR NO REASON. THE EMPLOYEE ARE OLD AND USELESS. WILL WASTE YOUR TIME.

Leo Minatti: Super rude i was spoken like a child ugh it was not pleasent.

Anto Nella: (Translated by Google) The service I experienced in a very crisis situation was incredible for me. On the hotline with a girl who doesn't grab his name. He stayed pending, and he helped me with what I need! I am grateful for a million and I wish more people were like her.

Charrua Sotelo: (Translated by Google) I felt very comfortable at the Uruguayan Consulate, they treated me very well, they are very friendly and professional. Thank you for your excellent work. (Original) Me senti muy a gusto en el Consulado Uruguayo, me trataron muy bien, son muy amables y profecionales. Gracias por su excelente trabajo.

Eve Etche: (Translated by Google) Send an e-mail to ask for the renewal of the Uruguayan passport, (I confess that without much expectation of getting answers from the comments I had read). But they have really given me more than excellent attention! I sent it on a Friday afternoon and on Monday morning I already had an answer and not only that, but they called me to make an appointment. I am very grateful to Mrs. Alicia who spoke with me and not only gave me the appointment but also resolved all my doubts, and also with the Young Woman who attended me at the window today (sorry, I do not remember your name) both have been very sweet and kind . Thank you for making this process a nice experience!

Consulate General Of Turkish Republic: what do users think?

Turgut Temizel: My wife and I were extremely impressed with the level of service and attention. They were so kind, helpful and professional. Excellent service delivered efficiently with a smiley face. The questions we asked via email were answered very promptly and completely. The appointment system on the website was easy to use. When we went to the Consulate, our case was handled immediately even though we arrived before the appointment time. The person who addressed our needs was very efficient and helpful and we were done in a matter of minutes. They also answered our questions regarding other topics completely and made recommendations to speed up the process. It is uncommon to expect such a great and professional service at a government office. But the Turkish Consulate General in Miami is an exception. Thank you all!

Josh Yoltay: My wife and I were extremely impressed with the level of service and attention. Mrs. Pekgoz was very explanatory, efficient and very polite. She patiently walked us through the process we requested and completed in a most professional manner. Thank you very much to you and your TEAM

Melike Inam (Minam): My husband and I found Miami Consulate very hospitable. The security guard offered us Turkish hand sanitizer and greeted us with a big smile. Ms. Bahder was so kind and thorough with all the procedures. She was the sweetest person ever. Amazing service with smiles on their faces all the time!

Ulduz Nuru: I guess a trip to a country starts from their embassy & consulate. Thank you to the great team of Miami Consulate, including security officer, and especially the visa officer Zeynep Karatash for going above and beyond to help me with my last minute visa need. They were so welcoming, nice, helpful and pleasant! I really appreciate all the help and can’t wait to start my trip to our beloved country Turkey!

Ceyhun Koçal: I had a perfect experience here. The staff were very helpful, welcoming and hospitable. Special thanks to Çağdaş Bey for all of his help and effort on the phone and in the office.

behiye kara: I emailed to make an appointment for natorization letter for mayself and to renew my mother's passport. We drove all the way from St Petersburg for 5 hours. However, the staff told me that they only have one reservation for passport renewal. I clearly stated in my email that I need 2 appointments one for my mom and one for myself. I only needed a single letter with couple sentences. It wouldn't take more than 10 minutes to draft it but they refused to do it. I once came here couple years ago for my passport renawal without appointment and the old staff was really hospitable. They took care of it right away. Unfortunately, I can't say the samething for the new staff. I came all the way to Miami for no reason and now I have to come back next month again.

Emrah Bozkurt: Always expect the best from the Turkish Consulate in Miami! The personnel is very helpful and the processes go flawlessly.

Honor Gunday: Great consulate. This one beats Kyiv, Berlin, Los Angeles and is at the same level as London. Shout out to Gokce for being very detail oriented. They had a very professional crew.

metin guner: It’s an amazing service, I forgot my Turkish ID which is my fault but Bahter hanim spend big effort to resolve that, unfortunately I had to have my ID to do my work at there but next day Bahter hanim gave me her name without appointment she completed my job politely,I was very proud to be Turkish when I see stuff like her in Turkish Consulate. Thanks again…,

Maria Douthat: My husband and I were very privileged to have met Burç Ceylan on his first year as Consul General in Miami. Because of him we have become true Turcophiles. During his tenure we have traveled to Turkey twice and have fallen in love with the country and the people. We are saddened to see him go. Godspeed Burç Ceylan until we meet again in Turkey. Consulate General of Costa Rica: what do users think?

John Estevez: The lady that came out to attend me was a lady that in Costa Rica would be considered a house cleaning lady. The way she was dressed was of a cleaning lady. She is the consulted for Costa Rica here in the USA. That is embarrassing. When I went to call her, Licenciada she got offensive and told me she is not a lawyer or nothing important to be calling her that. She told me the waiting time is 4 month to do any kind of action. I was so embarrassed and I took a Tico with me and he was embarrassed also. Anybody coming to this consult of Costa Rica in Miami, don't. Go somewhere else. They keep the doors locked and WON'T let you in. ALL AMERICAN OFFICES don't need mask and can walk in. NOT HERE. COSTA RICA, FIX THIS. THIS IS AN EMBARRASMENT FOR COSTA RICA 🇨🇷

Ashley Doman: Consulado de CR in Miami is pretty quick with emails. And the women in this office are super nice, helpful, and we’re able to get me everything I needed all in one shot. Don’t let the unanswered phone calls scare you away! They will help you get what you need! Dont bother calling, the Miami location won’t answer, but the Consulate in Georgia does.

Margarita Carvajal: If you planning to travel to Jaco Beach Costa Rica, be prepare, you are tourist, they over charge everything, restaurants overcharge, the test BInaxnow is recognized by USA and supposed to work with airlines anywhere and they refused, was not accepted and charge $70.00 per test, there are more beautiful places that here, and better treat on tourist, instead go to Mexico, Rep Dominicana, Colombia, Peru.

Carlos Salazar: If you make an appointment everything is running smooth , the consul very polite and helpful, paperwork runs easily and accurate, in the past I had another impression until my family and I visited the consulate in Miami . May I say was a good experience .

E.Alexander Flores: I have tried to reach to someone who can provide some guidance about an extension on my passport and I’m getting absolutely no respond from any person of the Staff. I’ve sent emails, made phone calls with no one ever picking up the phone while I’m calling during their unacceptable business hours 9-1 p.m. No It even able to leave a VM because it’s fulled not to mention is nearly impossible to schedule an appointment. Whoever is in charge of this entity , I hope the thoughts and feedback shared by a few people, as you can read on the reviews are taking into action, we're all asking just for some help

J “Jax” Ax: Very friendly and efficient. Strict covid guidelines still. That's fine. Better safe than sorry. Prepare to wait a bit. It was busy on a Thursday.

Serge Jean-Louis: No one returns call or pick up the phones. Emailed several times same thing no answer. Can anyone help. My wife's passport had expired due to Consulate being closed and non responsive. Not good.

Mitchell Avnaim: Dear Consul Paola Ayala, I have been attempting to schedule an appointment since September 2017, so I can close my Costa Rica Corporation. You have received all my documentation as you’ve requested and I directly deposited the $400 into your bank account also as you requested, all in hopes of getting an appointment . Instead of an appointment I received a letter telling me you are no longer the Costa Rica Consul and I must now deal with the new consul. Where is my appointment and better yet where is my $400 that you insisted I directly deposit? No one answers your phones and your voice mail is full so I can’t leave a message. Please make this right. Sincerely, Mitchell Avnaim

MS: Never answer the phone, the recording hard to hear at all, messenger recipient is full. Impossible to reach somebody by phone

Alean Lopez: Parked with no problems, it was practically empty when I entered so I didn't spend more than 30 min renewing my ID. Good service.

General Consulate of Haiti in Miami: what do users think?

Isal L: Passport $175 + 25 courier fee. Please note they do NOT process any passport in emergency. In the event, you need a passport urgently, you need to go yo Washington, you will receive it within hours. It takes 6-7 months for the issuance of the passport at this location . My best advice is to only go to that location if there is no rush

Gelisa L: If possible, please avoid this place at all costs. The manager is so rude. She doesn't have the decency to help anyone. If you ask her a question, she acts like she doesn't hear you at all or flat-out ignores you. I have never witnessed the level of disrespect that those people display to their kind of people. It makes sense that other nation lacks us respect because your people can't even talk to you like a human being or serve with any level of respect. The manager needs training in customer service; it is an embarrassment. I know writing this may not get anything to solve, but please anyone that sees this post I advise you to not go to this place unless it is your last resort. The security guard curses a female out. You will not be handed even a pen or a clipboard to fill out the form they give you. I left feeling so embarrassed and humiliated. I know if they were serving different races other than their own, they would have never treated them like that. They put a white tent outside as a waiting space in the hot heat of Miami with no fan. When it started raining, you have to find shade under a tree to make sure you don't get rained on. Plus there is no A/C inside. Why are you all treating your people like animals? The services you all are offering are not free to the public at least treat us right that is the least you all can do.

Hendra Larue: My husband, 1 yr old daughter, & I flew from Houston to Miami on Apr 28,2022 to receive hubby's updated 🇭🇹 passport. I read the bad reviews & was nervous about it all! 🇭🇹 Passport renewal-- We came with all applicable items (passport photos, national archive paper &/or birth certificate, passport, money order ($200) & if a married/divorce woman, those papers. The security guard opened the gate at 0900 & workers start seeing customers at 0930. I suggest you get there early. We arrive 0730 & we're the 3rd in line. The security guard handed hubby a simple form to fill out with a ticketed number, so bring a pen. When the guard let's you in the gate, you will sit outside where chairs & a shaded cover is. It started getting hot so people moved around to find shade. The guard assists with questions you may have so just listen. Once hubby walked in the building (no guest aloud in), he sat in a waiting room, someone asked him for passport, birth certificate & made a copy. {I suggest you make a photo copy of everything you are bringing just incase. While you are waiting, there are outside business's that can assist with photocopying, money orders etc (Publix, Walgreens across/down the street) incase you need it.} Then pay for the passport. He received a receipt & that was it! They stated it's a 7 month wait for passport. He was given back his passport which expires in August). 🇭🇹 Haitian ID card-new Husband asked for a new card as well. They took his simple information, finger prints & photos. He will receive a text message when card is ready. The bad thing about it is he must come back to Miami to receive it, where he will show his finger prints again as proof. The card will be there indefinitely. Overall Breakdown - - Parking... Is limited; on the street & nearby business, there are also parking lots you can pay for, or use Uber, Lyft etc. We arrived 0640, drove around for food/money order (Publix nearby) & waited in line at 0745. Gate was opened at 0900 & we sat down outside to receive further instructions. Hubby was called inside at 0935 & was done with everything (passport renewal (0950) & haitian ID card) at 1040. What a relief! Hubby said everyone was pleasant. What to bring: appropriate documents (it's better to bring too much than not enough), bring the PERSON the document is for, pen, water, sunshades, money order, credit/check card. If you have any questions, please let me know. Good luck!

Marc Celicourt: Rude Staff, I don’t know why they keep these people there , just went and asked to talk to a specialist, the girl in front desk refused to let me see them and everything I asked, she keeps telling me there is nothing they can do for me , she didn’t even let me explain the situation. I asked her for the general consulate website, and told me to go online and I will see it , I said I look everywhere, I cannot find the website, she told me there is nothing she can do. These staffs are horrible.

Katia Clervil: The security officer/secretary/customer service so disrespectful. He doesn’t know how to talk to people. I saw this guy gave this lady money so she can let him go first. This whole operation is a mess. Here at 9am for haitian passport, its 1:30 they still haven’t call me. I went inside to asked questions, front desk man told me that I open the door too much, if I cannot wait to go home. Imagine I been here hours. People sitting on the floor outside waiting to be called. No parking, one bathroom, smell terrible (tankou se aser moun yo pitit). Ya haitian need to do better 😡😡😡😡

Jordan Ramsey: This place is very unprofessional, I applied for my passport, it's been over a year now and I still haven't received it. I kept calling and left several messages But no response. I tried many times to come in but their office is always closed without notice and I'm driving far. I'm very disappointed with how they conduct business. They don't deserve any star

RONY BLAISE: This place looks more like an ordinary house than a governmental building. The behavior of the employees is similar to the none sense you have to deal with in Haiti.ON top of that, the waiting room is tiny, just "32 chairs" seriously ?,no parking area, you're on your own, security is extremely questionable, the quality of the service is abominable & archaic.Updated 12/03/21 I have been calling them for days regarding passport renewal for a family member. These idiots aren't picking up the phone, how can a government entity be so useless? I am sure they're getting paid their salaries ,they just don't care. I wish I could give them 0 star

Richy Neptune: Someone needs to shut this place down, I’ve called for the past 2 weeks for info & not one single person has picked up the phone. Smh

Muller Sirin: This place is terrible ,security guard is accepting $5,$10 to make folks skip the line ,when get mad ,he threatens to call the cops or prevent you from doing the passport or the Haitian identification card .poor service at all cost .

Myelegancia Boutique: This is a typical haitian governmental office, dirty and fifty place with a bunch of lazy people with no ethics professional or respect for noone. Its a year now since I paid expedite for my Dad passport still no passport,I called every day no answer, I drove there office is closed finally what do you want people to do?

Israeli Consulate: what do users think?

Elad Reuveni: No one to get some instructions by the phone. Finally, got an appointment for the next 2 months. Although we had an appointment we waited for 3 hours. One person that think that he’s God try to deal with few customers. Zero costumers service. They waste your time with BS questions. If it’s not life crisis - stay away. You know, Israeli mentality. One person that didn’t even finish basic GED - manages the place. One word: Idiots.

George Dahdal: love the service I got all the help I need it and the answer to all my questions thanks for the great service

Yaniv Sabag: Horrible service, no one answer the phone. their site instruct you to make an appointment through their web-site. when you go to their web site, it is not easy to find it, and then, you guest right, you still can not make an appointment because their site is giving you an error. I sent them numerous emails, no one replies. left voice messages, no one replies, just a horrible experience. so sad. Former Israeli citizen

Raye Brewster: So went to get things squared away for Astra to come with me to Israel. 1. The young man who greeted me was totally the sweetest We swapped stories and I had my pocket knife with me.....he was in love with it. 2. While there was a wait, everyone was helpful and kind Thanks!

Avital Eliav: Can't reach you guys on the phone, email you and get no response. So I decided to make an appointment for one question and I am willing to drive from Cooper City to Miami, yet checked my email this morning and the appointment is cancelled?! No reason why it has been canceled attached to it. I am at a loss for what to do.

Joe Nish: Super efficient and friendly service. Got my passport renew on the spot without any wait. Made an appointment on the consulate website for litterely the next day. I’m very satisfied with the high level of service. Thank you Sarit for the great service.

Steven Pollack: If I can give this negative stars I would. An unidentified male decided it was appropriate to have an entire conversation with me through intercom and repeatedly just referred me to ANYONE else just to not have to help. To classify the staff here as lazy would be an understatement. The Israeli consulate has no care for its citizens, period.

Karen Shua: I truly don't know who are the people that are writing bad reviews, I am flying back with my family to Israel NEXT WEEK and the embassy did way and beyond to help us and guide me thought the process with lot of patience. I would like to express my deepest thanks to Noya from the Israeli house for an outstanding performance and also Adi and Tzafrir as well. Many thanks,

Talia Masri: Incredible kindness and efficient well organized. The staff really cares about their clients.

Carlos Perdomo: I called today for information about moving to Israel while they were open, I finally managed to speak to someone after a very difficult automated message transfers and he told me to call back at 1:00pm. Turns out they close at 1:00 so I ended up not being able to talk to anyone........awful service, they don't realise that they're representing they're country

Spanish Embassee: what do users think?

Linda Villadoniga: The people who work there are very nice and very patient. Some of the people who go there to get a renewed passport or other things come unprepared or ill prepared and take up to 30 minutes due to their lack of preparation. It is not fair to those of us who go prepared and have everything in order. Case in point my appointment was for 11:00 I did not get waited on until 12:00 because of groups of families who go with their paperwork unfinished or non-existent. They are taken care of in a very nice manner but those of us who have appointments and have everything in order have to wait. There has got to be a better system.

Lawana “Mitchi” Walker: They were very helpful and responsive in email, very quick to approve my visa application and were very efficient and quick when I went to pick up my visa.

Zach Gordon: Incredibly professional, organized people that are truly dedicated to helping Canadians abroad. Thanks again for all your help!

Ryan Mazurkiewicz: Great experience super professional and helpful. Only issue is they were Habs fans 😆

Matthew McGuire: Wonderfully helpful, very kind

Nicole: The gentleman working at the front office when I was there was exceptional, and made the horrifying experience of losing a passport much less daunting.

MaryJo MJ Tullo: Wonderful and efficient people

Emma Lopez: Messed up our info, did not give clear info.

General Consulate of Ecuador: what do users think?

Juan Alvarez: The employees are useless, their 2 public phone lines are never answered and the few times I was able to speak to them through the "emergency" phone number that I was told to call they always had an unhelpful attitude and tone. They refused to help or even point me in the right direction when their site was not letting me submit a visa application (5 times), their best solution was "reload the page" or look for help online. I really hate this place.

Sandra Rumbea: It was a terrible experience for my brother. He just wanted to renew his passport and the lady that took care of him was unhelpful. Is sad to see your own people act like that instead of being kind and helpful

Eddie Rivera: Worst experience ever ! Drove 6hrs to the consulate for my wifes appointment to find the doors locked and lights off while workers inside milk the clock on the expense of the Ecuadorian people. Encoutered a staffer outside and explained to her that we have traveled hours and if they can please help us. She jump in her car and drove away like nothing. Thinking its better being a fugitive from the law than being an Ecaudorian citizen to get help from these privileged persons.

Karla De La Torre Cedeno: They don't want to pick up the phone and when they do, they don't want to answer any concerns or trouble, pretty useless. After waiting for an appointment to renew my passport 3 MONTHS, they dare to cancel the appointment ONE DAY before the awaited appointment without any reason. They also delete any comments or complains on Facebook.

Carlos Noriega: If I can give them (0)is what this people deserve ..They should go back to Ecuador..It's terrible. terrible terrible it's a shame the way this woman at the front desk treats people she should be dismissed of this position, this woman what ever her name is giving a bad impression about our people.

Carlos Perez-Quintana: I was there with my Wife that she is from Ecuador doing a management. The security guard should be promoted to consul he is charismatic , respectful and have control of all situations. Have knowledge of all the things to do and help a lot with all his instructions. And a have lot better customer service skills than all the Diplomatics working there. Incredibly he is Cuban. All five stars are for him.

Jose Salcedo: If a person who wants to travel to Ecuador relies on his experience in the consulate, they will take away the desire to visit the country. I thank Mrs. Flor, who called me and gave me guidance with a procedure. But as soon as we got to the consulate, the guard's treatment looks more like that given to prisoners in a jail. Then the consul, a total lack of courtesy to those who wish to visit their country. A negative experience for a beautiful country.

Socrates M Rivero: Phone Service is horrible. No one returns the messages.

Daniel Bravo: Just like others reviewers said, don’t expect anything from this consulte/procedures/regulations. Absolutely the worst system I’ve seen, is easier to get visa to come to the US than getting a tourist visa to go to Ecuador. And not only that, is a $450 90 days visa!! Only because we have family there I’m putting up with this, but for people that don’t have family there...don’t waste your time. Is been a whole process of 3-4 months and still waiting for a visa that got “approved” a month ago. Instead of stamping it in the passport the old fashion way, they do it digital which it should instant. Completely frustrating, and no one to respond or consult status.

Joshue Mogrovejo: Don't expect anything from here they say one thing but there website says another, and theres not even a website listed but rather an e-mail with no one answering it. The only reason they are still in service is because they are an embassy because if they were an actual business they would been out for the lack of empathy, customer service and resources to help. trying to get a passport should be as easy as mailing in and them sending back a new one but they require an appointment just so they can see your fatigue expression for having to deal with their unprofessional service. I would give them a -5 star.
