Ray Stocking: My wife and I needed a getaway weekend and had NOLA in mind as our destination spot. I’m so happy I did not read the reviews on some of the apps because (unlike them) we had a spectacular experience while staying at the Sextant Stays Factors Row location. First, the unit was spotless and very welcoming. We had a second floor unit facing the back which happens to be one of the few units with a balcony. It was very spacious and had everything we needed. The temps hit 98 degrees on days 1 & 2, but you would not know it with the way the AC works. We slept like babies we were so comfortable. Second, the location was perfect for us. Close enough to all the action on Bourbon Street, yet far enough away were there were no hints of that crazy little party street. So many quality food options close by too, and an easy 4-5 minute walk to Starbucks for the morning brew. I was pleased with the check-in process, the emails received 24 hours earlier explained everything I needed to know, and the security features for access to the building as well as the unit itself was sufficient. Parking was tricky, but was able to always park within one block. We both agreed that we would come back to Factors Row by Sextant if/when we return to New Orleans. Highly recommend!!!

Kiersten Offineer: We stayed at Sextant Stays in the business district in NOLA and it could not have been better. The room was the perfect space for us and our friends to spend our 30th birthdays. They emailed the day before our trip with instructions and asked if we were celebrating anything. When we got to the room, they had a birthday card, drinks, and a cookie. They definitely went above and beyond. The location was close enough to Bourbon but far enough so we could escape the craziness when we were ready. I will absolutely be booking with Sextant Stays on our next trip to New Orleans and will look for them in any other cities we stay in as well. 10/10.

Andy Powers: This was a great property, perfectly situated both for access to the convention area of the city and the French Quarter. The Sextant team did a great job with a VERY timely response to the only hiccup during my stay: an entry code that didn't work. Straightened me out over the phone within minutes. Terry Born: Our stay at Sextant Stays was an Experience. Great location! Great accommodations. Lots of space, lovely furnishings, kitchen, two baths. We felt like we were in the lap of luxury in the middle of the city of Dreams. Minutes away from the French Quarter, but quiet and private living. Their concierge service was always there for any questions or concerns and helpful, too boot. We would definitely return.

Yvette Segura: Great location just a few blocks off the French Quarter, in the Central Business District. The street car stops were one street over. The check-in instructions were very easy to follow. The remote desk clerk was available and greeted us every time we went through the lobby. Our first encounter with this type of technology - very cool. The place was exactly as described. It was roomy and had all the basic essentials to include olive oil, spices, coffee, filters and laundry detergent. Very impressive. All in all, we loved staying here.

Douglas Kennedy: I LOVE Sextant Stays! Just stayed in the Factors Row building in New Orleans. Fantastic! My one bedroom apartment-like suite was WAY better than a hotel on all levels. It was also way better than staying in a traditional vacation rental because there was always someone at the front desk, plus a live virtual concierge in the lobby on a tablet-like screen. All the touches of a boutique hotel too, with fun public "hang-out" areas and an original decor. If they had these everywhere I would never stay in a traditional hotel again.

Sors Soriano: Had a great time during our stay! Love the beds they are using as it is very comfy. Unit is advertised as is. Had some issues in the bathroom but customer service and the maintenance team was able to assist within the day. Still would love to book with them again.

Ingrid Angel: Just Awful! I rented from this company previously with success. However today with a new request. I was completely shocked at the service on the phone. A young girl extremely unprofessional. Had zero clue on products or service. I can sympathize with a new person learning a new job. But this girl was a complete disaster. Uncomfortable conversation, rude attitude. The owners should know she yelled and told me to go find somewhere else to rent from. Then quickly hung up the phone! Customers should not be treated in the manner. I did find another rental company. Good Luck Diamonette what a shame. I rarely write bad reviews as its sad to have to do it.

Mike Gil: Pretty much anything you might need for a party delivery, set up, knock down pick up even overnight pick up. They work well with caterers.

ZZ Design: I just used Diamonette Party Rental for my wedding and I could not have been more disappointed. I am very organized and efficient and placed my order months before the Big Day! Firstly when originally placing the order and paying way in advance they charged my card for 3 other orders and I had to call in to get that reimbursed. How you make such a mistake in taking someones credit card and applying it to other customer orders, I do not know but it's baffling. On the day of my wedding, they arrived with a smaller than ordered dance floor letting me know that their sales person Veronica had apparently made a mistake in selling me a size they never actually had. I think if you are a company the size of Diamonette that you would the days BEFORE an event review the customers invoice and make sure all these items are available and not let them show up the day of with an incomplete or incorrect order. When bringing this to their attention, instead of problem solving they were arrogant and disrespectful and told us it was our problem, that there was nothing they could do. My husband who is a problem solver was able to get us a dance floor (on a Sunday) for the wedding on short notice, not even being his field but being a person that can make things happen which I would expect from any CEO of a company. Also when we tried to reach out to the CEO after the wedding we were told he would call us back and never did and had to call a second time to finally get him on the phone. Instead of being accommodating and reimbursing us for their dance floor that we never used or offering to cover the other dance floor that we had to get the day of, they just did not care at all to make it up. If I could give a negative star for them I would, customer service is the worst and just all around disorganized and arrogant. You are better of going to Imperial Party Rental that are slightly higher priced but better in customer service and ability to deliver what was expected.

Kristine Obenour: This company is absolutely amazing! My father had originally booked another rental company for my wedding, but day of when they were due to set up the 20'x60' tent, dance floor, bar, tables and chairs, we found out they were a scam (two days before the wedding). After visiting another party rental that didn't have what we needed, they recommended Diamonette Party Rental. Diamonette had everything we needed, but didn't have any staff to set up the tent and dance floor since it just so happened to be the weekend of the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. However, after telling them my story, the staff worked magic and had people setting up the tent, dance floor and all other rentals 5 hours later! Not only was the staff who made it all possible wonderful, but the guys setting up were also great. They showed up around 5:30pm and were there for three solid hours, non stop, that night after setting up tents for the boat show earlier that day. The white chairs were pristine, the bar absolutely awesome, and the tent and dance floor exactly what we invisioned.This company saved our day, had wonderful staff, perfect rentals, and I would recommend it to everyone!

Denise: Veronica at Diamonette Party Rental was very easy to work with. She responded quickly to emails and answered any and all questions. She was flexible with additions and changes to rental. Rental items were delivered as promised. Would recommend.

Caitlin West: Didn’t have the opportunity to rent from this place so I can’t speak to their products but the sales team required a drivers license number in order to set up an account. I asked for an alternative as I was not comfortable providing that information. The sales team provided no alternative so I declined the quote. This may be their policy but it is in definite need for a revision. I could be wrong and this could be a common practice for rental companies but don’t see why that information should be required in the first place.

Bibi Hidalgo: What an incredibly smooth process dealing with Diamonette. I have to definitely mention Juan Carlos (JC) who dealt with crazy bride to be (me). He was extremely professional and was always willing to help and make changes whenever I needed. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is hosting a party/wedding. Thank you again JC and Diamonette! Looking forward to using your services again in the future.

Irina Surimiyava: Very Large Selection with Helpful Friendly Staff. It was perfect for My Niece Graduation from University of Miami Yay! Do Not try to return on Sundays.

I had the most pleasant experience and was treated with respect. The manager is a funny dude and genuinely cared that I was happy. I am a Hertz Presidents Circle member and have rented from many locations. These guys are great! Thank you

diamangirl1: Awesome customer service! Was very satisfied with my rental experience. This place is not closed. Don't know why google says it's temporary closed but the guys there are great! Will help in any way they can. I recommend booking at least a week in advance if possible. There is a shortage in rental cars everywhere.

lolive lolive: We didn't rent a car from Hertz here because you can't directly rent a carif you only have a debit card. But the person we spoke to was so helpful. He basically saved our vacation by helping us find a rental car agency where we could; and he was even speaking french. Thank you!

Jenny Cruz: I normally don’t post anything, but my experience with Hertz was 10/10. Costumer service was amazing!! We had to make some last minutes changes to our reservation but it couldn’t be fixed by phone or thought the internet so we went in person to this office and Biyung were able to come up with a great solution. My family and I are happy with the service provided. We will definitely come back to this office next time we are in Miami :D

David Therrien: Cruise terminal Hertz is closed. This place is wicked busy with only 2 of 6 employees working on a Saturday. About 1.5 hours to get my car that was not filled with gas that I was later charged for. Do better Hertz.

Cassie Lauria: If I could give no stars I would. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a vendor! First, when I got to the location to pick up the vehicle, it was a mad house with tons of customers and very little direction from employees. The car smelled like smoke and was scratched up all over. When I tried to mention it to a manager (because I did not want to be responsible for it) there was no one available to assist and they blew me off. Then when I dropped the car off they never "returned" the rental, even with my multiple emails and phone calls to them. I even filed a report with corporate to get the rental "returned" It was almost a full TWO WEEKS after I left my vacation the rental was FINALLY closed. And now they charged me $500+ more than they should have. My rental should have been around $202 and ended up being $748!! WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!!!!!!!! I saw the bad reviews for this location and I figured how bad could it be....well I wish I never did business with them. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place and the headache you will have after using them! Terrible!!!

Ryan Perez: Don't bother making a reservation here. It doesn't matter. They will let you reserve a car, pay for an Uber to get to the store only to tell you that they have no cars and we can sit in their lobby indefinitely. The rental car industry is in shambles in Miami. You are probably better off taking Uber to FT Laurtadale and trying your luck there

Nicholas Tipton: Came in with a group of friends to get a last minute rental for our short trip to Miami. The employees were able to help us get in to a vehicle in about 30 minutes. Marlon and BJ are friendly people. Next time we come to visit Miami we’ll be coming back for another rental.

Alvin Thao: Don’t do it. The pre agreement charges do not match with the final charges. I was charged double for the “loss damage and liability insurance” fee. I was the only driver and had the car for only 20 hours. The car was returned in the same condition. Never again with hertz.

Ariella LA: Prior to arriving to Miami, I was hesitant to make a reservation with Hertz based on my previous negative experiences in the northeast, but the team at Miami DT HLE was by far the best to rent from! Every person greeted us from the time we arrived until the time our car was ready. The sales team made sure that we had a car that fit our reservation and needs. They cared about making customers leave their rental office happy, and you can tell these guys were genuine. When we arrived back to drop off our vehicle, the guys were all very helpful and accommodating to us. This team restored my trust in renting with Hertz and when we come back to Miami, we will rent with the Miami DT HLE office again! Thank you again for an awesome experience!

Raul Gonzalez: The boom had issues from the start had to call for help early in the morning it took almost an hour for mechanic to call by this time we had the boom moving in the slow position not ideal but moving at 2 pm we had to call again mechanic call 1 1/2 hours later he was coming he show up an hour later we explain the issue he texted found a peeping noise ask if this had been like this we told him yes he said it was a sensor the needed adjustment as the floor of our parking space was creating the issue I basically told him how can a level parking floor be the problem to please schedule the pick and notify the manager to call me to discuss the issues as the work we needed to do could not be done to the faulty equipment as of today no one has called the was 2 days ago.

Thomas Donovan: Ricardo at Rent & Paradise was a pleasure to work with when it came to renting a Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder during my stay in South Beach Miami. Ricardo was in touch with me long before the rental and made the process very easy, answering all of my questions. Unfortunately the green car I wanted was damaged a few days before my date of pickup but Ricardo set me up with an extra 25 miles free and showed me a cool grey one instead making sure that was ok. The guys delivered the car to us right in-front of the hotel, and came back late at night to pick it up with no issue. The car was obnoxiously loud, a blast to drive and well cleaned. I unfortunately scratched the paint during my time with it but the guys at Rent & Paradise were pretty chill about it and focused instead on if I enjoyed my time with the car. I am still waiting to see what I might owe for the repair but I was assured it would be very little if anything at all. Great experience. Thank you.

Reginald Prudent: Rent & Paradise is the place to go when you need an exotic or an upscaled car for business. When I am in Miami I always rent my exotics there. They have one car for your needs like the red Lamborghini Huracan for crossing Miami with your buddies in a rally or the yellow Urus when you come with the family but you still want to go fast and in style. Abdulla Alharmoodi: By far the best exotic rental company in Miami, if not the US. They are lenient with age since I am 21 another rental company asked for a deposit of $10,000 but they only asked for a fraction of it. I was here for spring break and had an exceptional experience with them in the Lamborghini Aventador. They have an amazing collection of cars which are at the best rates a person could ask for. From how quickly they prepare the paperwork to their great customer service, I would highly recommend this company over any other. Auriel Braxton: This was the worst company ever. I rented one of their properties in Miami and 72 hrs prior to arrival they contacted us and said that the original property we were supposed to stay in had a water leak and they had to switch us to a different property. When we arrived to the new property, it was a dump we probably would of been better off at the property with the water leak. The owner of the company Jan Jens did not communicate nor were there any hospitality services to assist with home. I highly advise no one book with this company and stay far away from them. Worst experience ever

Laya Mohadeb: We had an amazing time on our speed boat ride, especially because the driver made it so exciting for us. We were able to connect our music and monitor it on our own. He named different islands we were passing and houses of celebrities. He also stopped the boat so that we can see the dolphins and to take pictures of my friends and me. Most important of all, We saw beautiful views while on the water. I definitely recommend using this boat rental.

Raphael Roumain: We rented the 20' boat and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great time with family. Do not worry so much about directions; Alex will map it out for you in a very simple manner. Boats are in great condition, competitive pricing, customer service 10-4.

Edward Rubin: I feel comfortable giving them 5 starts as we went out with them last April and had a wonderful time. This week we unfortunately had to cancel due to positive COVID test in the family. They refunded me and I appreciate that.

Joan Love: We celebrated my mom's 60th birthday on their 50' boat with all her grandkids. We did a sunset cruise and dinner around the bay for 3 hours. We were thrilled to have a great captain, Captain Alex, that was strict with the rules but at the same time kind and fun with the kids. And to make matters even better, the first mate was also a trained paramedic! This mommy was relaxed and enjoyed the cruise. The boat was gorgeous and clean, The staff was super helpful with loading and unloading the items. They even were happy to store my stroller in their office. What service!! Five stars all the way!

Edgar Conde: Really had a nice experience yesterday. Boat was clean and directions and tips were provided. Would have given full stars but even thought directions were provided I was not told i hd to tight the anchor. I might not be a sailor but never has to tie and anchor before on other rentals. So we lost the anchor early in the trip so I had to always be on the boat and also was told I to pay for it even though was NEVER mentioned before. Still was told it was around $100 for the anchor

Jim Wall: Outstanding experience from beginning to end. Everyone was very polite, gave helpful information, and there were no hidden/unexpected fees. Will definitely give them my business again based on their integrity alone.

robert matt: We did a 4 hour boat rental. The check in process was easy. We had the boat for 4 hours. On our way back we broke down. We trouble shot the issue over the phone. Got going again and they called back to check up on us. We broke down again and same thing. We eventually ran out of gas. They towed us in. They care about your safety, and your enjoyment. When we got back. Without asking, they came up to us and said they would not charge us for the gas we used. They said they would take boat to get looked at. They didn't have to do that. We enjoyed the ride! I would definitely rent from them again!

Karl Hansen: Called a number of times. Left messages. Never a call back. Couple of times voice mail is full. Their message advises to book a boat online. That sounds like a great idea since I can never speak with anyone. (NOT.) Because this place is nearby to me, I went in person. There's a business sign on the fence so they are located where their Google address says they are. There's no body there. Place is a dump. Ask around and no one knows anything about them. But, you can go online to their website where it looks like they'll be glad to take your credit card. Nothing here adds up to a business that genuinely rents boats. If I'm wrong about this place, I'll gladly take this post down. Someone will have to respond to it.

Marcio Silva: 4 hour rental on there 16' bay liner was great! Tried out other rental spots and hard to get in touch with. BRM was online booking and easy! Their return calls and communication could use a little improvement but compared to the others no comparison! The boat was clean and easy to use. Eddie is a great guy and provides lots of info. I will be back and recommend to everyone that's looking for a boat rental in Miami! Also read some reviews that they make up their own price on the spot, that's FALSE, all prices are on the websites when booking!!

Austin Wilson: Even though I didn’t rent a boat from them he shot me straight and told me that if i wanted to snorkel I would need to rent somewhere down in the keys. This is after i had payed him to rent a 20 foot boat. Money was refunded.

Lenny Richards: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I booked through Expedia it was a great price. Get there and the agent is virtual. Ask about insurance I tell him I have my own and show insurance card. He said he needs my insurance declaration. (Who has that) I did though in the app. The agent looks at it and says sorry you don’t have fuse insurance. I had no clue what that was as I never had an issue before. He says it’s overnight coverage and said it would be $19 extra. I said well I guess I might as well take you insurance. Oh yea if you use your own it’s a $1000 deposit. So I was like I will pay the $30 with the $250 deposit. I return the car a few days later 6:30am take a few pictures and think I am good. I get an email at 8:30pm with a picture of just a windshield no color of car license plate nothing and it’s a small mark on the window. They says I owe $599 as the insurance I paid extra for does not cover window or tire damage. I send them my pictures showing it’s fine and no marks on the window. They say it’s not a good view of the window. I send a close up they say it’s not time stamped. I ask them to send me pictures showing it was the car I rented they say the car is back on rent. Then proceed to hit my card for $599.

Marjorie Lockwood: Incredibly shady and very disappointing. This was by far the worst experience ever. If I could give zero stars I would. They make you believe online that you are getting one price however will hit you with double that amount at a minimum when you arrive to pick up your vehicle. I purchased the insurance from another company prior to arrival and when i booked the car rental and was told I still needed to purchase theirs. I thought I did purchase theirs online when I booked the cat and it offered the additional insurance. I chose not to keep the vehicle and returned it after an hour. I did request the additional insurance purchased onsite and daily toll fee be refunded with the exception of that day as I did have it for the hour and understand doing business. I was told no refunds are ever issued. It does state that in the contract but they do not let you read the contract until the transaction is completed. As I was questioning these fees during signing, I was told I would only be charged for what I use and my signing was just a formality and she would email me the information as soon as we were finished. I had called and asked at the facility to please speak with a manager and was again told no and that I could email her. I have been the head of operations for over 20 years and to see the way they conducted business was incredibly disturbing. Hiding behind a keyboard is definitely not a leader. It wasn't even a matter that I needed the money back and more of principal on how they were shady doing business. I heard 2 other customers arguing with them over the cost at pick up as well. When you vacation it should be relaxing and without stress. Save yourself some trouble and rent from the national names you can trust.

Alessia Gabuzzi: DO NOT RENT A CAR WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Unless you like getting scammed, horrible customer service and driving cars in very poor condition. I booked a car through travelocity and they made me pay a bunch of extra fees / insurance when I arrived which ended up being more than double what I originally paid. On top of this the car I received was a salvaged car that felt like it was going to fall apart any second. I felt so unsafe driving it and regret booking with them. Save yourself and book something else!

Clement Gomes: SCAM AND INSURANCE FRAUD!!! The positive reviews are probably FAKE! Check Trip Advisor!!! Company had many extra fees when arrived but we dealt as we had to take a shuttle to get there. They asked us to take pictures of any damage and email to them before leaving the lot. We did as directed. A day after returning the car, I received an invoice for over $700 for damage to the car. When I reviewed the pictures of the "damage", I realized the it was the same pictures that I SENT before leaving the lot!!! They tried to accuse me of damage that was there at pick up! When I contacted them, they fought back but thankfully I used my AmEx Platinum card and they covered my dispute. I mean, how STUPID can you be to send me back my pictures then falsely claim I caused the damage when there are emails with time stamps clearly as proof. These people are scam artists and DUMB ones at that!

Lina Pokidyuk: SCAMMERS. If you notice there are only five star reviews and one star reviews. They say hindsight is 20/20 well that is true, if you look at the reviews it’s very obvious that the five star reviews are likely from someone that either works for the company or their friends. So I tried to take my chance. Booked my rental car through discover cars.com Went to pick up our rental car, and all of a sudden they came up with an administration charge of $40 per day, because I’m using my own insurance. Nowhere terms and conditions is this mentioned anywhere and when I showed the agent the terms/conditions she said it’s not in there. When confronted about it, they just blew it off. Old school bait and switch. We ended up walking out, very mad but not surprised, and going down the street. There’s a bunch of places, all within walking distance, that will rent you a car on the spot without any gimmicks and surprises. We went on 26th street and the place we found, not only gave us a fair price, but even let us use their SunPass and only charged for the tolls that we went through which came to $14 for the week. Sad that Rent a Scam 4 Less even exists.

Unit in excellent condition and amenities as advertised. It is one of the best locations in the area and we are a repeat customer, we have travelled as family of four with two grown up teenagers. We all enjoyed the facilities, including the tennis courts which is an advantage in our case.

Nathan Zelikovitz: Was a vacation out of a storybook. The views are magnificent. Hot tub and pool on the dock over the water. We were able to just spend the time relaxing on the dock, in the pool, in the little gazebo by the water, listening to music piped in via the outdoor speakers- amazing. Positioning of the house has the dock getting full sun from sunrise to sunset. We had a couple of nights struggling to get the hot tub and pool to be heated, but it finally did get worked out. We value privacy and it was totally private- there was construction noise from the house next door, but we appreciated that no neighbors were living there. The driveway is sealed from the street with a moving gate further enhancing security and privacy. Towels, linens, furnishings, cleanliness- all on par with top hotel standards. We have gone to vacation rentals in the past and have had some less than positive experiences, this was quite the opposite- the facilities and views were far better than could be depicted in pictures. We took beautiful walks up and down the Venetian Causeway, we biked right into South Beach in minutes, had jetskis delivered directly to our dock- so many ways to experience the unique beauty. Oh, and the very first morning we saw dolphins swim by, spotted a barracuda (we think), and saw a jelly fish. Andre, the concierge was responsive, professional, and friendly.

Laxmi Dady: Alex served as our concierge for the week we rented a condo at the 1. This was no small task considering that I was on a very high stress work trip and managing the needs of four of my coworkers. He responded to every request (even late night or early hours ones) within a timely fashion and went above and beyond to ensure we always had what we wanted. Impeccable service and a very kind person.

Baby Walker: We were absolutely appalled by the horrible service from start to finish - if I could give this place 0 stars, I would! After arriving from our cruise at the port, the complimentary shuttle took over an hour to pick us up after the first one left. Once the shuttle arrived, the driver was incredibly rude, unprofessional, and unapologetic for his aggressive behavior toward us. There was a line of guests who had been waiting for over an hour including our party of 7 including a 12 month old. The driver completely ignored us when we told him we arrived first with another family and he brushed us off to just wait in a line to fight for spots in the car, he then made us squish like a bunch of sardines with our sleeping baby sitting on his grandfathers lap in his car seat. 6 of my family members including my baby were in the back seat while I sat in a row of people who just arrived on the line - one of the women who were new to the line sat on her husbands lap, the whole ordeal was very unsafe. Once we arrived to the budget hub, he asked for tips and was upset when no one tipped because of how horrible his service was. An elderly man started yelling at him when we arrived because he ended up having to hire a car to get him to budget after waiting for over an hour himself. After arriving we stood on line for over an hour and a half at the hub. You would think on a busy day like a Sunday when people are arriving back from vacation they would have more staff available, but no, there was ONE person sitting at the desk attending to guests from both Budget and Avis. Eventually after 1.5hours another attendant came to help budget customers. We finally received our vehicle (which we reserved over a month prior to our trip) and made our journey home. The day after, we went to return the car to the Budget near our home, but apparently, they gave us the WRONG vehicle in Miami, so instead of it being a quick process to give back the car, it took over 20 minutes for the attendant to re-enter all of our information to correct what the Miami hub did. All-in-all, the experience at this location was truly horrible and if you can avoid it, please do!

Ekaterina Oparina: I had by far the worst experience renting a car here in my life. All the workers, including Juan and the manager are the most incompetent workers. They obviously don’t know how to manage a rental car place. Be prepared to wait 1-2 hours even with a reservation! Save yourself the stress and trouble, rent at the airport or even better with another company!

Sandra Fleming: Beware!! I hope this isn't true of all this company's locations but this was one of the worse managed car rental places I have EVER experienced!!! The employees were argumentative and rude. I couldn't believe how they were talking to us - the customers!! They overbooked reservations so there were exceedingly long waits. They told us we didn't have a reservation but we had proof with a paid deposit. When we finally got our vehicle the tank was about half fuel. We went back in to inform them of this and was told they had noted it on the paperwork. Fortunately we took a picture of the dashboard before leaving so when we were dropping it off & they tried to charge extra for the gas we had proof and they couldn't. You just can't blame everything on COVID - these people at this location need to get their act together.

P Rivera: Much need for improvement, came from a cruise ship to pick up my SCHEDULED rental car. This is a combined Budget/Avis branch and tiny location at that. I waited over 2 hrs for a reservation that was scheduled weeks in advance. This is a very busy location with car rentals in and out continuously, not even really having the time to prep the vehicle correctly. Expansion definitely a need, and a more organized method of checking in and out the vehicles. More staff would help. Think twice about booking at this place.

Keenan L: Several hour wait for pickup at 10 am. Don't bother booking before noon, the car won't be clean and ready to go before then. Staff is doing the best they can, but the dot matrix printouts mean avis and budget lines are separate. It's 2022, why are lines this long to show your driver's license?

Alan Lask: Absolutely terrible service. I was told to wait for my name to be called “in 10 minutes!”. I waited for over an hour because the staff messed up, and was not given an ounce of an apology for wasting my time. In fact, they avoided making eye contact with me when I came up to ask what happened. If you need to rent a car, go somewhere else, or be prepared to wait. I’ve rented cars many times, but it’s never been this bad. I would give 0 stars if I could and would’ve left if I hadn’t paid beforehand. **Edit: I ended up waiting over 2 hours, and when I asked for an ETA the staff yelled at me to "SIT DOWN". Incredibly rude and unprofessional.

Anna Drouches: They don’t have cars. There were 50+ people waiting outside on a busy street for their pre-reserved rental car. They wait for people to drive to the port / return a car before they have a car to give to people getting off cruise ships. You end up waiting anywhere from 1 hour (lucky) to 3 hours… There are 4 chairs in their waiting room so everyone waits outside with their luggage. Budget needs to close 9-11am reservations if they can’t honor them. Location is old and dirty.

Bhavin Chauhan: Made a reservation, got a confirmation, I go to location to pick up and they said cars have been sold out. There's nothing they can do about it. Spent hours on call to customer care only to find out that their system doesn't have correct information about availability. The word confirmation means nothin, you just have to be lucky to get car during busy times, irrespective of how early you made your reservation. As a customer, you are helpless. Make sure you pray before you pick up your rental car.

A Nadi: ZERO STARS - DO NOT RENT HERE Made a reservation days ahead of time, confirmed it as a fast break customer. Fast beak meaning car is prepped and ready for rental, no wait. Waited in line for 30 mins, was told once to a rep at the desk that they don’t have cars. What’s the point of making a reservation? Canceled my reservation, walked out without a car.

אבנר קלמר: The worst service I have received from a car dealership around the world. The manager lies non-stop. We did not receive the level of vehicles we ordered. Employees just laugh at customers. Do not approach, very great danger. Budget and Avis.

Everybody from the front desk to maintenance to the cleaning staff is kind and friendly. Ginger N runs things smoothly, and is genuinely caring. She makes sure that living here is a pleasure. The neighborhood is great and the location convenient. Personally, I love the Miami River, which is how we chose this location.

Danny G: A car being rented at Hertz was involved in an incident with myself. I have been trying to contact Hertz service about this but have not received any response. I can only assume I will have to keep trying, meanwhile the damage to my car is left unpaid. I will continue to leave reviews regarding my horrible with Hertz and why someone should be extremely cautious while obtaining their insurance with Hertz, its possible you might need them and not be able to contact them. Very frustrating.

N K: Boutique business hours. No local emergency phone number posted. Customer does not seem to be a priority.

dmiller2573: Just waited in line (about 45 minutes) after getting the rental before go on the road. Hertz U GOT TO DO BETTER. The attendant had cars backed up, he just took his time, HE WAS SLOW AS SH$&. 9:45PM.

Cristina Curici: Horrible experience! The guy there was extremely rude and lazy, we were waiting for one hour and a half because the car wasn’t ready although we arrived there later that the scheduled pick up time and he charged us one hour extra plus fee when we got the car back even though we agreed with him we’ll do that since we picked up the car late. We trusted him when he said it’s ok, we don’t need to make that change in the contract because he was probably too lazy to do it again and we paid for that. And when I called to complain they’re telling me I should have made the change in the contract, but they’re not at all concerned their employee lied to our faces. Never again, Hertz!

Samuel Feito: I made the reservation for a premium class and they give me a nice brand new Cadillac that had only few miles and it felt amazing.

James Manfield: Lack of common sense. Waited 25mins for somebody to take care of us. We prepaid in advance but they still required a credit card which we did not have on us. Offered to pay a cash deposit and they said there’s nothing they can do. Not a brain cell in the entire store.

Jay Ezra: Hertz moved my pickup location to one near the airport because they’re “consolidating locations.” Meanwhile, they have a single person working the store and a line of people filling the entire interior of the building. Update- to top it off, they literally didn’t have my car. They had no cars. Never using hertz again.

Stefany Romero: This location is off site from the airport, about a 10 minute drive. We rented a car here through Expedia and it stated they had airport shuttle, when we arrived at the airport we had to call them as we didn’t see the shuttle. They stated that they only had a shuttle bus from the location to the airport, therefore we had to take a taxi to the location. Upon turning in the car they then stated they only had a shuttle from the airport to the location. Very unprofessional and completely unacceptable.

Daniel Al: Let me start by saying that this is the worse company and location to go to for a rental car. Fellow veterans do no go for them because you will not get services and they will lie to your face. Not only did the call me stating the was no car available they would not give a refund for said car but were charging me an extra $100 for their mistake. When asked for the employee who help me the manager David Mayorga lied and said he was Ernesto. When confronted for his obvious lie he proceeded to threaten me with the police because I called him a liar. Just to get a refund it was a constant run around by them to only finally get my refund with no $100 cancellation charge when I said I was contacting my lawyer. This is no way to treat customers and not only fail at service but also take my money and then tried to charge me more for their errors. NEVER GO TO THIS COMPANY! Update: Even with the comment by the owner I saw no results. This company is never gonna improve. Results should be to fire those irresponsible employees and to do the job right. Again do not trust this company.

Gromo Service: I booked the car on 28/12/2019 11:00 over a month earlier. After arriving at the place of 2 men went out to the parking lot to inform me that NO CARS ARE AVAILABLE. I came specially 30 miles. Customer service in the parking lot and not in the office! No previously booked car! the credit card deposit was forfeited! No desire to propose another solution! I DO NOT RECOMMEND and advise against everyone! I submit a complaint to the official headquarters of HERTZ! Pick up the license! I do not greet you!

karim9591: The absolute worst car rental experience I’ve ever had. Every single person that I saw walked out of there walked out in a bad mood. They accused a guy, who had a rental for four days, of putting tints on the car and said they were going to charge him for it… Like, what!? Do you think a guy is going to invest money to put tints on a rental…? That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. And then I’m waiting in line for half an hour just to get told that I have to leave and go purchase a mask and get back in line again. Why I wasn’t told us in the very beginning when they first saw me in line? Who knows. But they made a bunch of people leave to go get masks. After that, I finally get to the counter, just to get told that my rental will not be ready for another hour! An hour! Even though it had already been an hour since my pick up time. So that means if I would’ve went there at my pick up time, I would’ve had to wait two hours!? What is the point of making a reservation for a certain time if it’s not even gonna be close to that time? And then when I ask the bigger/older hispanic woman who works there for a confirmation of cancellation she says no. Just “no”. Please believe me, just believe me, you will not have a good experience here. It’s not just me. Look at the other reviews. Pass on this place. Get a rental from another place. Even if it’s more expensive, it is not worth the headache. That’s even if you can get a rental here in the first place!

Sean: Terrible Experience! I already booked with them a couple of weeks in advance and planned my whole trip with the hotel reserved in key west. Then when I went there to get my car, they said that they don’t have any cars available and they didn’t even try to provide any remedy. The lady, Maria, even called a police on me to throw me out of the place! I couldn’t believe how easily they ruined my whole vacation with no logical explanation. If you are not able to rely on your booking which I paid in full, what’s the point of booking?! Never recommend this place nor any Dollar rental agencies.

Paul Willard: Do not rent from this location. My wife and I made a prepaid reservation in advance, presented the same major Visa card at the time of rental. I was then told I could not rent because I had given them a debit card. I politely corrected them and showed them that it was a major visa credit card with a $25k credit limit, and asked them to talk with the credit card issuer to confirm. They refused, were rude and continued to tell me it only mattered what their system showed and they would not help me. They then told me to leave because they had other customers waiting.

Johan Van Werven: Worst carrental experience ever. Online confirmation looked good but after bossing us to wait outside for 45 minutes, the arrogant lady at the counter told us we were too late (1,5 hours …) for our reservation and no cars were available anymore. When we asked why she had’t send us an e-mail cancel our reservation or inform us while we had to wait outside, she said it’s all the airlines fault the flights were cancelled and cars not returned. Completely in denial, full mess, totally unreliable. We then went to Sixt, great service (allthough they also didn’t have a car). But they were polite and friendly, something the staff at Thrifty Dollar was apparently not able to. Never will use them again.

Michael Flanders: We arrived, and only 2 people were allowed to enter the office (kids staying out in the sun). We did paperwork for a bit, then were told we had a 10 minute wait. After waiting another 40 minutes, they finally brought us a smaller car than what we were told (one that wouldn't fit our family and luggage reasonably). We smashed everyone in, and had to detour our vacation (drop off luggage) to accommodate a too small vehicle. About 2.5 hours of our vacation wasted on this place.

Dane Markham: AVOID. They canceled my reservation without prior notice or my permission. I showed up to the rental agency and the lady was extremely rude and unapologetic that she gave my reservation to someone else. The best she could do was give me a reservation for “next week”. What a joke of an agency. They wasted my time and money.

Steven Daicos: Picked up car and suspected that there was a strange smell. Manger convinced me it was nothing. Picked up the family they immediately confirmed the car smelled like urine. I immediately called the location: 216 16th Miami. Manger of Thrifty / Dollar LUIS SALOMON did nothing and refused to acknowledge the issue. I returned the vehicle. I was charged for a single day rental even though the car was returned within 25min (driven 4miles) of being picked up - see attached photo of receipt. The manager also charged a $25 early return fee. LUIS SALOMON Became combative I had to call the police to address his behaviour. Rental contract number RR 982383640 This was surprisingly the manager of the location. Thirty / Dollar do better when hiring managers that represent you to the public Police arrived and questioned the manger in regards to the smell. The manger claimed that the smell was from the cleaner used to sanitize the car. Conveniently the manager was not able to produce the cleaner for the officer to confirm the bogus claim. Meir Moskowitz: Worst customer service. Worst rental place. Payed in full online and was yold by representativ the amound of 175.83 to be due on day of pick up and no more. Ended up charging me over 400 dollars. Almost refused to give me the car until i threatened to call the police.

Sanita Kadic: Luis was very unprofessional and rude. I have never in my life experienced such terrible customer service! He should not be working with customers! He showed up 10 minutes late, continued to ignore I was even there for an additional 5 minutes. Then was completely rude our entire conversation. I dont want to go through all the details but believe me you DO NOT want to rent from this place. Interacting with this LUIS guy (apparently he’s the manager) can ruin your vacation!

jie yang: I had an online reservation last month with DOLLAR. When I came to that location to pick the car up, they told me that they didn't have a car. Because of the unexpected delayed return and extended rental. Also, they said refer to their Terms & Conditions posted online which state that a reservation is not a contractual agreement. And their Terms also state that they cannot guarantee vehicles available due to late returns, extended rentals or damaged vehicles. What a ridiculous explanation. This is an abnormal way to solve the issue in this country. For example, if hotels and airlines overbooked they solve the issue with a sincere attitude. But "DOLLAR" NOT
