Dawid Grzechnik: All would be great if not one detail. I wanted to exchange US$ to Chilean and Argentinian pesos. The rate was better vs. competition, but the seller refused to hand me the total amount of Chilean currency in 20.000 banknotes because “she would have left with none”... WHAT? So now, I will have to carry pile of banknotes with me. They did not have banknotes of 1000 Argentinian pesos either... hence Perhaps it was the issue on that particular day but I would suggest to manage their stock better. Other than that it was ok.

Every time I need to change dollar ( not only for euro, they change every currency) I get with them.. They are the best, very responsible, trustworthy and always the best currency in the market!! Alfredo Pino: Very professional, fast and efficient. They even have a “Valet Parking” free for the first 20 minutes. Also they will give you exactly the currency exchange rate for that day. You just “google it”, call them and compare it to the price they offer. I’ve done it twice with them and they match it perfectly...

Mark Robinson: BEST RATES IN ALL OF DOWNTOWN!!!! I highly recommend this exchange house to anyone looking to exchange currencies. Its best to call and make sure they have the currency you need before going. Parking garage directly in front of the store pretty cheap, street parking if your lucky.

Joseph Michaels: I've recently needed to purchase Euro's and I stumbled upon Euro Exchange over the internet when searching for currency exchange boutiques in downtown Miami. To my surprise I was blown away by their customer service and impressed with their competitive prices on currencies. I requested what would be considered a rare currency and they were able to acquire it in a timely matter. I also needed Euro's at the same moment and was able to get them at a very good price. It was worth the travel from Boca but I was happily informed that Euro Exchange even offers a great service where they can ship the currency to my home.

blues rain: The best rate and service. I always go to this place and find the best rate. This is a treasure in Downtown area, and in Miami. You don’t find a better rate than Abbot Exchange. If you want to save money go to this place. The owner is always polite with me. Do not hesitate he is the best in Miami to exchange your currency without doubt.
joel lucoff: The exchange rate was only 2 cents above official for the €. I was in and out quickly. The cashier was efficient and the man I spoke with on the phone was helpful. The office is in the middle of downtown Miami, but I wouldn't go there after dark. Only complaint is the only bills in stock were €50 notes, nothing smaller. Needed some initial money before heading overseas

Graciela Temes: Very poor customer service, in simple words VERY RUDE. The exchange rate was not that bad taking in consideration the current market rate but the owner of the place, "Peter", and one of the cashiers, who seems to be his wife, were extremely rude. I work close to their location and I could say that I send them daily about 4 to 5 tourists that stop by my work asking for a place where they can exchange currency in that area but definetly I won't recommend them anymore for such a bad service!!
Andy Ward: I have just shopped around today for currency as we ran out of dollars (other half overspending again!) We have been staying in an apartment in Brickell so looked at all the money exchanges nearby and this one had some good reviews. I still called 4 or 5 though to see who would give the best exchange from Euros to dollars and Abbott Foreign Money Exchange gave me a pretty much unbelievable rate over the phone. I actually deal in currency a lot back in Europe where I live so know a thing or two about changing cash and I very doubt I would have done better back there! As previously mentioned its not a fantastic area but it is very safe during office hours and was just a 5 minute walk for us downtown. I really cannot see how any other exchange would beat what I was given today - I changed 500€ and they gave me a rate 7c better than another exchange I called - 7c! Thats a huge difference! Plus no "fees" or any other charges - just a straight exchange rate - definitely worth visiting if you have money to change in Miami.
Joshua Posada: I exchanged Dollars for Argenitian pesos at 3.93 while all the other exchange locations were offering me 3.2 for my exchange. The exchange rates are above competitive. Having now read the previous reviews i am amazed more people don't know about this treasure.

The process is quick and the guy that works their knows his job very well. He is very knowledgeable on travel to other countries and prices of their money as well And they offer a free bottle of water. We all know how expensive a bottle of water is in South Beach. 5+ stars

I gave them 200€ and they must’ve seen I just arrived and was very tired because they literally gave me exactly 185$ (weird enough) and no receipt but just a quick „goodbye“. I was too baffled to react properly. For reference: according to Google 200€ are worth 217,77$. I’d love to come back and ask for the 32,77$ they „charged“ me without even telling me the did- but I don’t even have a receipt. (It was two days ago early afternoon) I’m extremely disappointed and feel used! Maybe he’s just favoring people from his own origin I don’t know Edit: the answer came so late that obviously I’m not in Miami anymore and have no chance to reimburse the money they owe me. I’m a student, I don’t have much money, so the way I was treated had pretty bad financial consequences for me.

jayson and amy: I asked their fees and the woman said $8.95 flat fee unlimited amount. The. I asked the exchange rate for Eastern Caribbean (EC) and she says “$2.136 per $1 USD”. WHAT??!! It should be $2.69-2.70 because it hasn’t changed beyond that in 5 years. But then she gets into this whole “spot rate” pitch that really doesn’t matter because the EC is pegged to USD. It’s a legal scam. Avoid unless you want to loose an extra 20% plus the $8.95 fee

Ralph Diaz: Called this morning and was told they have euros, arrived at 12:15pm we were the 5th in line when they posted a sign, no euros, this is the 2nd time this happened to us. They have lost us as long time customers, I will certainly inform friends and family to avoid this place

William Vargas: I'll start by saying that their $3 transaction fee is lower than the airport's $5 fee; however, their exchange rate isn't that much better. So unless Sawgrass mall is your primary destination, I wouldnt go out of my way to go here for currency exchange. The main issue with this establishment was the poor customer service. Clerk was on the phone when we walked up to the the counter, and while we made eye contact, she failed to acknowledge us or say "I'll be right with you". Instead, she turned the other way and continued on the phone. Once off the phone she proceeded to assist us with a bitter attitude.

Once on a wed or tues and then went over on a Thursday, besides the rates being told to me differently, I questioned the attendant and made her call the manager, which is not very nice. I will never do business with them and will tell all my friends who travel abroad to never use this company. They are phonies and lie about the rate to get you there.

If you do go there, please check at least 2 times the money they give you back.

I gave them 400.00 dollars to exchange and they gave me 6200 Mexican pasos($303.61 US dollars). I understand that they have to make a profit thats why they also charge a $12.95 commission. Trust me, I checked the market rate and I got scammed , but was flying out the next day and had no choice at that point. Not only did the company quote me an exchange rate over the phone that they did not honor when I picked up my money, they also added a $5 fee that was never mentioned as an actual fee until I got to the store. I guess if your in a bind and absolutely have no place else to go then it is what it is. You are probably better off at the airport. I will not return to this location in the future.

Not really sure if that's a good rate or not but I'm not going to do business with them simply for the fact that they're incompetent with the phones. I did research that the ATMs in Europe only charged the normal withdrawal fee. So I will save 90% on the transaction doing it that way.
