I bought an older model here that was a serger since he was sold out of the newer ones.... I couldn’t wait a day so I went in to pick it up. I was greeted well and received help putting the machine in the truck to drop off home. These machines are heavy and powerful. I will never in a million years buy a domestic machine unless I have to. Couldn’t be more happier that the business store owner Danny, also is responsive... He helped Next day when I emailed his business inquiring information on threading of the machine. The stuff here are equally as helpful and kind.

Pancho Carpio: WARNING! We got a new industrial sewing machine that was nothing but problems. After several attempts they were not able to fix it. Today I picked up my still broken machine, which is still under warranty. They reduced my warranty from two months to one month completely voiding it, and I had to sign the reduced warranty paper in order to get my machine, shady practice. Now I have to pay a competent tech somewhere else to get it fixed. WARNING 2! From their own response below, NO RETURNS, NO REFUNDS. Also, this sign is prominently posted in their storefront. If you buy from them you are stuck with whatever you get, just like what happened to us.

You came in looking for a sewing machine I spent three hours on a Friday afternoon demonstrating showing Elaina how to use it until she was completely satisfied. We went over different accessories and she made sure everything was complete in the machine. She took pictures and you looked up on your phone to negotiate the price. After we made the deal she kept on asking for different feet different screws different attachments and we also gave her a few referrals of people that we’re going to be able to help her with her swimsuit bathing suits. We matched a internet price of an add they showed us and gave them a thirty day warranty, but our machine came fully assembled, tested and with training. After they purchased the machine they had a car which the machine could not fit. You requested that the machine be taken apart and that he would put it together. We recommended that this is not a good idea if you’re not an experienced technician. A week later they started calling That the machine had problems I personally talk to them on the phone and they were satisfied. Then they called back and we had our technician to a video conference and Franciso was so inexperienced that he could get the machine installed properly. In the next couple of days they brought the machine that they said was not working and we but it back together and they were very thankful. When they decided to come back and return the machine, the table was damaged and the bobbin winder was broken. We said that we would charge him a fee of $195 for the table and the reassembling in the machine and they refuse that offer. We’ve have a policy no returns no refunds.

She told us that our Kenmore portable machine was very well built and with regular lubrication it should last a very long time. Excellent work. I've brought my machine twice, once for cleaning/tune-up and once for repair. I have a new-ish singer and on both occasions service was fast and affordable. Matt Nudi: I have nothing but good things to say about this company. I spoke with George a few times while I was ordering my machine and he and their technicians were happy to convert my machine, which was originally setup for binding, to a standard sewing setup as well as install additional accessories. The machine came assembled and very well secured to the pallet to me in Charlotte, NC. Delivery only took three days, as well. I highly recommend this company!
Sacred Geometrix: Buying our first industrial machine from the other side of the country left a lot to be nervous about, especially, never having worked with this company before, and never seeing the machine in person. Miami Industrial Sewing, by far, exceeded our expectations. Not only did they answer every one of our questions before purchasing, they set the bar high for providing excellent customer service all the way through the process and long after. The sewing machine arrived packaged super secure, and because it was fully assembled, we literally had a machine out of the delivery truck ready to go. We plan to work with Miami Industrial Sewing for all our foreseeable machine purchases. They also carry the needles we need for the machine as well as other products, so we'll definitely be exploring all they have to offer. Our only pro tip for those purchasing machines is to double check with Miami Industrial Sewing about their electrical setup. We unfortunately found an error in what their ad said and what electrical hookup (meaning 110v or 240v, etc) was actually setup with the machine when it arrived. We managed to resolve super easy, but to just remind Miami Industrial Sewing about all their future ads, make sure they double check the hookups match what they send their customers, so everyone prevents themselves from incurring any undue costs. All around, this was an excellent, pleasant and rewarding shopping experience. And our team is pumped to have our new Union Special Coverstitch with Cylinder machine on the team. Thank you Miami Industrial Sewing!

Ania Prots: This place is amazing. I found them online and wanted a zigzag that was used and my first cover stitch machine. I traveled from VA to Miami and scheduled inspection and pickup on Friday. They called to confirm the machines are ready, had a mechanic on site to explain all the details of the machines , and we're super nice. Like coffee and tea nice! It ended up raining hard and we picked up on Sat. They wrapped the machines for me, loaded then into the truck and helped secure them. What more can you possible want? Also the price is right. I bought my machines from another place before which is good but these guys really went obove and beyond.

Their on-site technician is incredibly knowledgeable regarding these very specific and complicated machines and spent several hours going over each machine with me. neal ailstock: received a machine from them that did not sew, sent it back for repairs, they sent it back to me and it still did not sew. sent it back for exchange many delays and still no machine. asked for my money back and was told there would be a 25% restock fee. they are rude on the phone and have a great lack of customer service. now 12 weeks later I am forced to buy some where else and don't know if I will get my money back.
Eduardo Rivas: I really had a very nice experience buying at this store. This place has hundreds of sewing machines and the staff is great, they found me the perfect machine at a great price. They also shipped the machine fully assembled to my place, so all I had to do was unpack and plug it in, Great Job Guys!
Sofia Holloway: Purchased a brand new KingMax zig zag machine. I have had nothing but problems with the machine. It was not set up to test sew and when it was sent they forgot the belt, needles and manual. George and the mechanics helped as much as they could over the phone, but the machine never sewed correctly. The main issue being a pinot screw in the main shaft that keeps slipping, which effects the timing. Tried to offer paying for a ticket and housing to send a mechanic down to St.Croix, however they wanted $1500 more even though the machine was still under warranty. Definalty cannot recommend buying a KingMax machine and wish the company stood behind the machines they sold.
Lisette Ruiz, Your Broward REALTOR: I called here this morning and spoke to Isaac the "salesman" to ask if I could come in and see some second hand machines. He was very short with me and asked what I was making, then suggested a specific type of machine and told me he had one for $1500. When I mentioned that was out of my budget and did he have something used in a lower price range, he told me not to bother coming in because it would be a waste of my and his time. I'm amazed that a sales place that sells second hand sewing machines and boasts to have over 25,000 machines would tell me to not even come in to see if there was one that may suit me. I should have read the reviews on this business earlier and I wouldn't have even wasted a phone call to them. I don't know how they're still in business honestly. That was no way to treat a potential customer.

Leslie Denby: You DO NOT want to do business with them!!! We are a factory in Texas and do a lot of business with industrial sewing machine companies. We ordered a machine and did not receive the kind of machine we requested. We paid for shipping and returned the machine and the company would not give us a refund. We have now waisted time and money haggling with them and have not received our full return. George is especially difficult to deal with. There are too many other industrial machine companies out there to waist your time with this one!

This was my first time in the shop and I was greeted like an old friend! I only wish there were more businesses like Bird Road Sewing! Susan Klock: There is no other place I'd take my beloved old Sears sewing machine. I've been a customer for over 30 years for repairs and maintenance. The service is excellent and fast, even in a pandemic. When I started making masks in March, I discovered that my machine needed reconditioning. The turnaround time was quick, and the cost was reasonable. Then, when I did whatever I did to break the needle and jam the bottom thread in a tangle, they fixed it while I waited. No charge. One was my mother’s and the other my step-mother’s, they probably hadn’t been serviced in 30-50 years, if ever. Bird Road Sewing cleaned, oiled and serviced them and were ready within 24 hours. They are both working perfectly since I got them back. The whole experience was a pleasure.

They had told me that the mechanic was going to call me within the next day to give me an estimate on the repairs. After 3 days with zero communication, I called this morning to find out if there was any sort of progress. The man who answered was incredibly rude and told me that I shouldn't have called because the mechanic was going to call me "whenever he got to my machine". However I need to get my machine fixed as soon as possible so I told him that I would be picking up my machine earlier today and he got hostile with me over the phone demanding to know who would fix my machine. Not only is it none of his business, but waiting almost a week for an ESTIMATE is ridiculous. I will not be coming back here.

Elizabeth Pantoja: I took my mom's factory machine there for a tune up. They replaced a new table top, tuned up the motor, changed the flip switch to a button turn on and turn off. Added a new light and replaced the old drawer with a new one. I was ecstatic the work took a few days when I went back I had a new machine. I am in love with them. Recommend them 100%.

Philip Scherrer: Terrible experience.... I called and specifically said that I needed bobbing winder fixed. He initially told me $139.00. Then he took it apart and told me $169.00 which I was okay with. Then I go to pick it up and he charges me $265.00. He also mentioned to me verbally that he would give me a 1 year warranty. When he wrote up the receipt, he only put 3 months warranty and told me that parts are a 1 year warranty but he didn't write that on the receipt. Furthermore, the bobbing winder wasn't even fixed. Very upset
