Steph: :) Where do I start !!? Rose is extremely educated on REAL DOG TRAINING. Nothing aggressive or demanding. All tips are with a holistic approach. Meaning you take into consideration a number of different factors or systems when working on solutions for dog behavior. Basically dog psychology. Holistic is a natural way of training. Not easy to find by the way. Most trainers out there treat their dogs terrible and cause more fear and anxiety than they already have. Rose SAVES LIVES , visits to your vet and expands your way of thinking to a whole other level. The professor I never had in school. Also, INCLUDING DOG DIET tips ! elinamelik: We started working with Rose when our puppy was 4 months old. Although very sweet, our dog had issues with patience and impulse. After one session he was responding well to commands and by the end of our training he became a much better behaved dog. Rose also gave excellent recommendations regarding diet and nutrition throughout our time together, particularly helpful when our pup had GI issues. Unlike many other training programs, Rose provided customize the training to meet our dogs individual needs. She never used force or fear to train our dog but instead provided lots of love and positive reinforcement. Overall a highly recommended trainer!
Sabrina Vollrath-Bueno: My husband and I adopted a rescue Boston Terrier in November 2020. Upon arrival, we noted that he had some behavioral issues such as aggression, anxiety, etc. We decided to seek assistance from a professional trainer. Based on Rose’s Google reviews I booked our first session with her. Rose was excellent with our sweet boy Max. She came in and gave us further insight as to why Max was behaving a certain way, while ensuring we knew how to correct the behavior. After our first session, he was a changed dog! We felt relief that we found someone who was punctual, reliable, knowledgeable, and provided excellent results. Please know that you will need to take the time and practice the training with your dog. So far, we have had three sessions with Rose and are pleased with how far we have come with him. Each time Rose visits, we learn something new and implement the training with our boy. I highly recommend booking your training with her.

Eyla Cuenca: Rose is a seasoned dog trainer. She’s very in tune with your pet and Your needs. She’s very practical and also efficient. Our German Shepherd puppy responded really well to her and her techniques. He learned so much in the first session alone but the long term effects of the training have to do with the pet owner committing to daily practice and implementing what she teaches you during the session. Highly recommend!
Isabella Chandris: I began working with Rose when my puppy was about 4 months old. Within just a few sessions, my pup was already responding to my commands, and is now incredibly obedient. In the first session, she discerned his character immediately and was able to tailor our training to what he would respond to best. Ken Schwartz: My dog Jules(ie) and I met Emilia of Soul Dog Zen Cat during one of our daily walks in Bayfront Park by chance. Emilia was immediately drawn to Julesie because of her silly face. I knew immediately that Emilia had a kind soul and that she would be great with Julesie. Subsequently, we have called upon Emilia several times to do overnight sitting for Jules at her home while i was out of town. For Julesie, it is a great vacation and she always is happy to see Emilia. For me, it is great relief that Julesie is in a nurturing and friendly home. Emilia's kindness, integrity and trustworthiness are very important to me as I leave an important family member in her care.
Small Craft Advisory Fishing: We found Emilia through a flyer in a dog park, and thank goodness we did. She has been a life saver when it comes to taking care of our dog during our hectic travel schedules. Our pup is a loving little guy, but he can be nervous around other dogs and strangers sometimes. However, Emilia did a phenomenal job helping him adjust to her, as well as other dogs. He absolutely loves taking walks with her now and has even stayed overnight for an extended period. We've even seen a noticeable improvement in his attitude towards other dogs as well. It is fantastic to be able to leave him with her and know he gets the same level of attention and love he should. She provides regular photo updates and detailed descriptions of how the walks go, which is a very comforting and helpful thing. Overall, she provides an excellent level of service and we cannot recommend her enough.
Sara Boatti: There are too many good things to say about this company and Emilia! She is professional, kind, knowledgable and most importantly...PHENOMENAL with our dogs! We have adopted two VERY different dogs in the past 4 months and Emilia has been an immense help in making sure our pups are accommodating well to their new home. She is the epitome of someone who loves what she does, and our dogs' happiness when she walks through the door is proof!
Nydia Martinez: Emilia is wonderful and she makes the process so...easy! She's trustworthy, and has a way with animals. You know the second you meet her that she's so good at what she does. She has taken care of my two chihuahuas, which are not the easiest dogs in the world and I can tell when I get them back, that they have "learned" things. I wouldn't trust anyone else.

Gabriela Andino: We decided to call Canine Counselors because our puppy was very scared of pretty much anything. Our trainer was Nora and she did such an amazing job training our Luna. Francy Gonzalez: Canine Counselors have been my 3 dog's trainers for the past 17yrs. First, Puchi in 2004, he was the perfect host to all the dogs & cats that visited us, plus the sweetest hubby to celebrity dog "Cosita" from Despierta America, she was also trained by Canine Counselors. Then in 2018, Tebow my rebellious Maltese/Chihuahua who gave his trainer the hardest time, but learned all his lessons and obeys now really well. And most recent the 2021 graduate, Buck, he's the sweetest! He loved his trainer Raquel, she was loving but disciplined him to learning all the commands. Raquel has an intuitive heart that feels & understands what the dogs may be struggling with and she corrects while putting them at ease that he’s going to be okay. She was super considerate with gestures when our senior dog Puchi passed away, she gave the other 2 buddies their time & space to mourn and then resume clases with Buck. I'm so grateful to have had such great trainers for all my dogs, throughout the years and even my grandpup Penny Lane Perez. Thank you all for your help, service & expertise. demi e: We adopted Sadie when she was 1 and she was a fearful/anxious and aggressive dog given her past with the owners she had. We had a lot of behavioral issues like pulling the leash, crying when she didn't get what she wanted, barking or even attacking other friendly dogs. The trainer Danielle really helped us understand the dog and gave us tools so we can best handle those behavioral issues we had with her. Definitely recommend her as a trainer, she really listened to all of our needs and helped us week by week transform Sadie into an obedient polite dog. Steve&julie Siegfried: The trainers and staff at applause your paws are amazing. I have had my dog Bruno attending classes there for the last 8 months. One of the trainers is particularly is fantastic, that is, Alice. She is the absolute best trainer and administrator, and I have tried several other trainers, so I write this review from my personal experience. She is extremely professional, patient, and smart. Bruno, an Australian Labradoodle, started at Applause your paws this fall and with the help of the trainers, especially Alice, he has become a very well behaved puppy, now a teen. He follows all of the basic instructions and a lot more thanks to AYP and Alice. Alice, you are the very best!

Jennifer Peters: We took our very enthusiastic Goldendoodle to Applause Your Paws for a 2 week boarding/training session the first 2 weeks of January 2022. Alice was our trainer and she worked with Lexi on basic commands, socialization and did a lots of work with her to help her curb her impulse control. Before going to training Lexi would jump on you uncontrollably and would pull on the leash constantly. I didn’t think it was possible that in 2 weeks she could help Lexi learn impulse control, but she did. Lexi is a changed dog now. Alice and the entire staff work very hard through kindness and patience to help your dog learn the basic commands and more. Once training is completed they show you how to continue this training at home. They teach you the techniques necessary to continue working and reinforcing what they have learned. I highly recommend this facility in Miami for all your training needs. Alice was amazing, thanks !!

Jackie Reidenbach: Applause Your Paws is excellent for dog training . I have tried several of their types of programs from day school to group classes. Their facility is great and my dog loves going there. At the end of day school you get a detailed report card and helpful literature for practice at home. I most recently tried the private training and it was excellent. Felicia did a great job of actually helping to train me how to handle my dog. She has vast experience and is very caring . She is also very patient with the many questions I asked her. I highly recommend Applause Your Paws for your dog training !

Kathryn Palacios: I’ve been taking Lucki to get his hair cut for 2 years and when I got Zoey she gets her bath and nails cut. Despite one time Lucki‘s hair not getting cut correctly it was fixed the next day with a lot of apologies that was sincere. They have a amazing customer service and both my animals always come out extremely happy so that makes me happy. I also drive 30 minutes just to use their services.

Sammy: AMAZING! I called over the phone to book, and was able to get in the next day. From the moment I walked in, the manager Amanda greeted me and my dog with absolute care and love. She was knowledgeable and thorough in making sure she understood exactly what I wanted to achieve with my Mini Australian Shepherd. She knew the right type of haircut to give him to clean him up, clean out some of the matting behind his ears, clean into his actual ears, clean up his paws, and get him looking as fresh as possible! I’ve had some bad haircuts with him before so I was a little nervous, but he came out looking SO GOOD! He smelled amazing, his fur was so soft, the haircut looked perfect and kept the integrity of his Aussie coat. He has some separation anxiety, and they let him play around in a supervised area after the haircut to relax. They communicate well and are always very friendly and professional. My dog always looks great and smells amazing for days on end. I have never had a good experience with other groomers as they often gave up with my dog and left him poorly groomed. However, I was pleasantly surprised with Daniela when I saw how she left my dog. Tyler Bradley: we've been coming to barks & tales for about two years since we moved back to fl from san francisco. i honestly can't say enough good things about this place. i have a chow chow, mr. papagiorgio, and he can take a bit to warm up to people, but once he has someone he likes he's totally a happy camper. everytime we go to groomies he's excited to visit b&t. honestly, they do the best job with him and he always comes back looking like a show dog. plus, they manage to get him groomed even if he's being a grump. best groomers and people in general. if i could give them 10 stars i would.
Matthew Sena: Although the customer service was good at Barks an Tales my experience was not the best. I dropped my dog off at 12 and didn’t get him back until 5:30/5:45. When I asked if they took him out I was told that he used the bathroom there. I asked if it was inside and was told “yeah if you have to go you have to go”. I specifically asked to have him cut evenly all around and that is not what I got in return. The cut is uneven throughout this entire body. Front legs different length from the rear, beard is uneven, neck is shorter than the entire body. The ears were cut really close towards the back but the rest were cut as suggested. He was super clean and smelled amazing. Maybe it’s more difficult to cut a Sheepadoodle.

Sarai Mendoza: My pup has been groomed by them for 9 years! They value each animal and get to know their personalities. Their grooming is one thing. It was great boarding him there when we left to Japan for 2 weeks. We could call and they'd give us details about his day and they dont create their boarders...they have their own gated space that they can walk around in. Their service is personal which is priceless when it comes to the well being of your furry family!

Luis was the first trainer that actually got us the results we wanted - so quickly and for a fair price. His method was so good that we are actually saving money compared to what the other trainers wanted. And time. Luis is a real deal professional and his work is guaranteed. The initial consultation is 3 hours and was worth the wait. We have seen improvements in our dog's crazy barking already. Eva Urrechaga: Luis has been absolutely amazing! From the first day he taught us tricks that changed Beny's behavior immediately. Beny was somewhat aggressive (with strangers and other dogs/cats/etc) and he was kind of unpredictable which made me nervous to take him on walks. He was also not great on the leash when he would get distracted by other people/animals. Luis taught us how to take control day one, how to show we are the dominant leader in the "pack", and gave us insight into how dogs think and react in situations so we know how to handle them. Luis has been very responsive, easily explains his techniques and theory, and makes it relevant to you and your dog and family. It has been an exceptional experience and I would high recommend him to anyone looking for help. Well worth the money, especially because of the great follow up whenever we have needed it!

Our new French bulldog puppy was so responsive to her training that in 10 sessions, he learned how to sit, give a paw, lay down, roll over, go to his bed, wait, come, and more. We received great advice about potty training and crate training, both of which improved immensely since our lessons. Rocco's uses clickers and treats – positive reinforcement – to train and it really works. He also understands "time out" now and has become less aggressive. And it's clear how much Leby loves dogs, because they love her back. We'll be returning for additional lessons in the future. We started with another trainer who told us the we didn't need any help with the puppy (we really did) and we were on the wait list for months with a third trainer. Don't wait! Stacey Laskin: Our rescue dog, Dolly, received great basic training with Leby at Rocco's Pack. She learned to use the bathroom outside, walk on a leash, sit, lie down, stay, wait, leave it, and, occasionally to respond to a few other more advanced commands. She was well cared for during her stay by very attentive staff members, and we were able to visit a few times to check on her. We were provided with the tools to keep working with her at home, and we hope to bring her back again for a refresher course the next time we take an extended trip out of town. Thank you!

Brit Bemis: Cori has groomed all of our 5 poodles from toy to standards here and she is truly the best. I'm so glad to have found her here and even though we have moved further away, we still make the longer drive. She has a pure love and joy for poodles. Our dogs prefer to be crated together and she has always accommodated us. She also takes same day appointments if you call early and it is a slow weekday. She can be fully booked on the weekends so make sure to book early on weekends. There is a parking lot in the back where you can park for free and take your dogs safely inside without being on the street.

She has two GORGEOUS Poodles who she grooms herself and presents them in shows. This lady is the real deal, I will certainly be back. Jillian Gustin: Best Doggy Daycare in town! I love this place, and more importantly my dog Louie is obsessed with going to daycare here - he gets excited as soon as we turn down the street, and I have to pick him up to leave everyday, because he always wants to stay and play with all his friends. I've also boarded overnight and had his nails trimmed here, and everything is so reasonably priced - you can't beat it. Elizabeth is incredible - always extremely friendly, helpful and gives me updates on my puppy's day every pickup - truly the entire staff are rockstars and really care about all the dogs. Ashley Kemmer: My dog freaking loves this place! My husband and I have been in Miami for 5 weeks for work and are staying in a studio airbnb while here. We have our dog with us and I wanted to make sure he was still getting exercise and socialization while being in the small airbnb. We take him to the doggy day care about once a week (sometimes more depending on the week). He gets so excited to go, when I put his harness on him for the car ride, he knows where he is going and is ready to go lol. They also post videos all day long to their Instagram page so that I can periodically check on my pup. I would recommend this place to anyone with a dog. Somi Pet Resort & Dog Daycare: what do users think?
THERESE PEREZ: I love this place! Bring my dog Luna here almost daily and she loves it too...she spends the entire day exercising and using the pool. Best way to keep her entertain than to keep her home doing nothing only sleeping. It's definitely a state-of-the-art facility, clean and big enough to handle so many dogs under the care of a fantastic and knowledgable staff.
Mary Cooper: We are traveling the states and needed to find a place for our two pups to have a good time while we went a few places. From beginning to end this place was absolutely amazing!! They pampered and lived our doggies, even when they were timid to meet new people. They went above and beyond to make this experience phenomenal for all involved!!
Rick Martin: This place is nice. But they are only interested in $$$ and not loyalty. I have been bringing my dog for day care and at times for boarding since they opened there doors and nobody brought their pets. Well now they are not interested in day care customer and give preference to boarding customers, leaving no room for their bread and butter of their establishment. Eventually the boarding will slow down and they will be begging for daycare customers again to return. Where is the loyalty??? They are only interested in the bottom line “CASH”. Will begin taking my pet to woodland pet resort. Hopefully they aren’t a greedy bunch as well.
Miriam L: Super happy with leaving our Aussie Rio puppy here for his first time boarding (ever). Not only the location is central , the resort itself was clean, the staff was nice, we had a quick tour of the play yard/sleeping suit and webcam access.

The neighborhood seemed a little suspect to me, but the SOMI facility was awesome and when we picked the dog up you could tell the staff had really interacted with him. Taylor Infante: I do not think I could say enough positive things about Somi. My baby has been going since he was vaccinated and because of it he is well socialized and probably the most loveable dog. You can tell everyone that works there has a passion for animals. I have a great dane puppy too so if they can handle over 100lbs of crazy puppy they can handle anything! Seriously your dogs will be so happy getting to go to Somi.

Daniela Albela: Ricardo changed my day to day life with my Staffordshire Terrier (pitbull). Due to my dogs reputation and size I never socialized him with other dogs- my mistake. After about 7 years of avoiding dogs in any circumstance, I was walking my dog around the dog park so that he can atleast watch them play, Ricardo approached me and immediately my dog started jumping on the fence to greet him, almost like he knew this man would help him. Ricardo immediately grabbed his leash and brought him the dog park. I was hyperventaling "sir please be careful- he doesnt like other dogs", my dog started beaming of joy, walking along his side and greeting dogs of all shapes, sizes, types of fur. From then on, we realized my dog loves other dogs, he just doesnt like male dogs who arent neutered. Ricardo showed me how to effectively walk my dog, how to train him, how to use a corrective collar, and I now have a very happy dog. I take him to the dog park myself and he still goes with Ricardo every week to the dog park. Ricardo and his son are very trustworthy, since I am working he goes up to my apartment and picks up/drops off my dog. My dog recognizes him and wags his tail and is the happiest dog when he sees his bestfriend Ricardo.

I always get compliments on how well behaved and trained my dog is and it's all thanks to Ricardo's guidance and tips. My dog loves him and comes running every time she see's him. He is so patient and gentle with her, we both trust him 100%. (I'm much more impatient with her, so I am taking notes). Thank you Ricardo for all help with Cleo!

Joseph Pages: I was looking for a new daycare for my dog Mila so I tried City Bark and was blown away by their facility. They seem to have a little town built for dogs and cats! Lyuba was kind enough to walk me through their facility and I was left feeling jealous my dog got to stay here and not me. The play areas were fantastic and the rooms for the dogs were very spacious. I will definitely be bringing Mila back !!!
