Carlos Alonso: I called Bigfoot Construction to give me an estimate to paint my house after another contractor kept rescheduling and missing appointments. They came out and gave me an explanation of the process, helped me understand the types of choices I had for paint, and worked with me and my wife on picking the right colors and the right type of paint (Outdoor). His crew arrived on time and had the exterior prepped, painted and ready faster than he estimated. They even took the time to protect my front yard garden. ROBERT REAL: First rate construction company. After years of contemplating my wife and I decide to have our home re-model from top to bottom. We had 6 contractors give us a quotes. Only Bigfoot Construction showed up on time to meet with us. This was a huge project with many variables. Long story short - Bigfoot gave us a quote we could live with and they delivered on time and as promised. jeffrey long: We reached out to JMK Contractor for remodeling our bathrooms. They responded quickly and were able to be at our home whenever we were available. We are extremely happy with the attention to detail and the approach they took when it came to designing the bathrooms. One of the major things I noticed quickly and enjoyed was that they had a good grasp on what we wanted and suggested good ideas. They were also honest to us when they thought we has a not so good idea and always suggested an alternative. I travel a lot so Fuad used emails and messages to show me catalogs and photos of products to make my decisions easier while on the road. Fuad personally oversaw the project and was able to get the job done in very good time. I definitely would recommend JMK Contractor to any one considering doing any type of remodeling. Big or small they always seem to enjoy what they are doing and you can tell they care for the work that they do. Thank you JMK.
Adam Sparks: I’ve been in the property management business for over 30 years that I’ve dealt with many contractors during that time. I hired JMK due to their positive reviews for my remodeling of my Miami Beach apartment. As this was a job that would involve tearing out the kitchen and bathrooms we decided to leave the apartment while the work was done. It was estimated the work WOULD be done in three months. We left to go to Europe. Two months after the contract was signed, while we are still away hoping the project would be nearly halfway complete, we get an email from Jmk saying they’re canceling the contract!!! They did no work. Hired no subcontractors and did not even process my permit. The reason for canceling, according to the email was Covid. However, when we signed the contract we were in the height of the Covid pandemic. So this was a ridiculous excuse. I’ve heard of no other contractor canceling a major job because of the Covid pandemic. We experienced a lot of expenses and damages including the packing up of our apartment and moving it all into storage disposing of furniture in anticipation of a new apartment hotel expenses while we were out for three months etc. JMK refuseD to reimburse us for any of our expenses. I have never had an experience anything like this in my three decades of property management. What they did was outrageous, unprofessional and harmful and I would give them a -5 star review if that was an option. I can clearly say this was the worst contracting experience I’ve had in my life. It was a nightmare. We came home to an empty apartment with nothing done!!! Moreover they threatened us if we ever wrote a bad review. This is how the mafia operates and intimidates. We strive to provide our clients with the best experience as well as customer service and we apologize for any inconvenience you may have had. We would like to respectfully address your review. You signed the contract on July 20, 2020, you left on vacation July 23, 2020, your permit was submitted to the City July 31, 2020. The City's permitting services were delayed an unexpected amount due to Covid and local restrictions set in place to protect our community. City employees are working from home and the process, which usually takes approximately 2 months, now took 4 months. We would have wanted nothing more than to have completed your home on time. These are uncertain times for all of us and there are certain situations that are out of our control. We knew we were not going to be able to provide you with the quality, on time service we are accustomed to, therefore we gave you notice per the terms of the contract and provided you with a full refund of your deposit.

Mathew Birdd: This is my first time hiring a contractor in Miami and was kind of nervous from previous horror stories I heard in my home town from friends and family. I recently moved to Miami and decided to buy a house that needed some work. I decided to tackle my master bathroom first. I gave JMK and other Miami contractors a call. I reached out to a total of 4 contractors and JMK was the only one who showed up the day they promised and on time. Two never showed up or called me back and the other kept rescheduling. Not a good sign when it comes to getting a project done in a timely manner. I had an idea of what I wanted during our initial visit, and Fuad and his team provided the layout and suggestions to make my vision a reality. They took measurements and pictures and within the week sent me an estimate and sample pictures of previous jobs done. Almost two weeks later I was enjoying my new master bathroom. Fuad and his team made sure to arrive on time and work around my needs as well as to keep me up to date of what was going to be done and when. Its nice to work with a professional team that is organized and delivers on their promises. They were always easy to reach when I had any questions, and I really liked how they gave me access to pictures before, during and after the project was completed to see what exactly was being done. I definitely will be contacting them for my kitchen next.

Russ Stevenson: I wanted to do some upgrades to my downtown Miami condo. I tried two different contractors, these guys were clearly better. I had them replace my entire kitchen. That can be tricky in a condo tower. It is beautiful.

Jennifer Hill: I called on Monday and was told a project staffer would call right back to schedule a time. No one called. I called back Wednesday and was told they had no record of my call from Monday, but someone would call. I called back Friday and was told that someone had called—they had not. I said no one had called and was told—within 60 seconds of being told someone had called—that no one would call for at least three months. I said we weren’t in a hurry for the actual work but just wanted advice and an estimate. The scheduler then said they were at least three months behind on even doing estimates. Joan Goodman: 4/28/2021 M Goodman Nearly three years ago I sought out a contractor to remodel my bathroom which is in a condo. Multiple unreliable , ghosting , no follow up contractors came to my condo . All had excuses why the job was too difficult to execute in my building which has mountains of rules. Roland took on the challenge and did a great job turning my dreary bathroom into a lavish complement to my condo . This was praiseworthy but what follow was remarkable. Two and half years later a few large tiles come apart from the wall . I stood in panic , realizing to get this fixed would be a herculean task. I called up Roland and 2 ½ years after he did the original work he picked up the phone on my first call . Within 24 hours he surveyed the problem , and within a few days sent work man to fix the problem . It was a job perfectly done . The cost to me, NOTHING. No charge. Roland stood by his work , never did he pause in doing the right thing . Good skills are not common but skills coupled with honor and integrity is a unicorn in South Florida . ERA Construction: We hired MiamiTile to our commercial project to multiple family home new construction finish work. We got what we expected. We had some delays terms of materials but they were calm and we can made a negotiation even though it was from our end. Can recommend them to work with.
Zorica Jovanoska: After having 6 different companies give me quotes for installing tiles and baseboards in my apartment, none of them felt right. I decided to call one more company, Miami Tile & Renovation, and after meeting the owner I knew right away that this company was different and I knew I was going to hire them! I was very picky because I was limited on time so I was looking for someone reliable, on time and honest. I was renting a place so I only had 6 weeks to get the city permit and have the tiles installed and it was very stressful. Ive heard horror stories of contractors starting work and leave you in the middle to complete another job but this company is not like that! Roland has a whole team and they are reliable, on time, clean and they are working everyday. I loved that Roland was always available to answer any questions and he was very patient with me during the whole process. They did an amazing job with the tiles, they look exactly how I wanted and they are gorgeous! I was very lucky to find them and I already recommended them to all my friends!

Since the beginning of the project they had planned out the sequence of the work and made sure that everything was right on point. They even took into consideration to protect the Master Bath and installed a cover to protect the room from any dust running into that area. Johnny Torres: I requested a quote for two wall removal and new floor installation on my home thru Angi’s list and Jose Ramos called me and left me a voicemail. I called him back to set up an appointment for the quote of my project and everything was going ok in the conversation until I inform Jose that the reason I needed the walls removed was because I was redoing the kitchen. Right away Jose’s attitude changed and right away he started trying to sell me his company for the kitchen project. When I told Jose “thank you but I already have someone to do the kitchen, I just need the wall removal, the electrical, the plumbing, and the flooring from you” he gave me an attitude as he replied to me, well we either do everything or nothing at all!!! Mind you I never contacted him for my kitchen project, he knew from the beginning that what I was looking for was for the wall removal, the electrical, the plumbing, and the flooring. I think that it is really unprofessional that because he wanted the whole project, he gave me an attitude when I told him I already had someone for the kitchen and then he goes it’s either everything or nothing!
Response: We field all requests for projects and assess them to see if it is something we can take on at this time. Fortunately, we receive several appointment requests per day. Most of those inquiries are for large projects such as a full remodel of a home. We typically focus on larger projects. When it comes to homeowners wanting to bring their own sub contractor for a particular discipline (kitchen cabinetry, electrical, etc.), we are honest right up front in that we are not interested in that arrangement due to the multiple issues that can arise with having different contractors on site such as missed timelines, miscommunication, damage to work, etc. Usually, contractors that solely do kitchen cabinets refer you to general contractors they work with because they know most general contractors will not agree to that arrangement. We still hope your project runs smooth and comes out exactly how you envisioned it.

The founder actually took hurricane supplies and water donated from his church and volunteered himself as a few of his employees to travel to Texas with their tools and supplies this past year to go help Hurricane Harvey’s victims who lost their homes after its destruction.
