Basketball Court: what do users think?

Abimael R. Fermaintt: Great place to workout and enjoy the scenery it also has a dog park bball court volleyball sand court and a gym outdoor section

Henrik E: A nice court with light on at night. Come on over in the afternoon and play with 30 + players. Come saturday morning and there will bee arround 50 players. It is located in a nice park with many other things to exercise on. There are venches and drinking water at the court. It whould be nice with 2 - 3 full corts and 4 half courts more - it would give the park a good spot on the map in Miami. PLAY BALL!!

Diarra Vargas: Team play, clean without hacking, smart hoopers, old timers that run the show.#teamusa #miamibasketball #margaretpacepark #ilovethiscity

Edwin Perez: Safe fun and free. What is there not to love?

Bay Walker: Loved hanging out watching a pick-up game the locals were playing. So lovely right on the waterfront!

MC LMNOP Gaming: Fantastic experience! Was finally able to get my groove back on the paint!

Jerry all star: I will give this place five stars because it's a very good place for my first time going there today is better than the one in Miami the only thing about it they are very consistent when day r asking you fore money

Jin Shin: Please build two more half courts; not full court. At night time, 6PM-9PM, guys took the whole court and playing full court. What about family and people wants to shoot around. Onetime, there was a family shooting in other side of court; young couple and little boy. People just started playing full court. 10 guys running fast; this family had to move out of court. This is not nice.

Michael Custodio: Would be great if there were hoops on the backboards.. the virus stays on basketball courts, yet not in the Walmart aisles and shelves. Ridiculous

Christian Dueñas Brea: Nice place and excellent court to play !

Shenandoah Park: what do users think?

Brian Lutz (Backhand City): Update: We have done some team practices here during off peak times on weekends. It's a really great vibe and fun place to play in a central location. They have added a sign in process but its still first come first serve. You will see the sign up sheets under cover by the picnic table behind the courts. They also now funnel you in by the main building. One of my favorite parks in the City of Miami with lots of shade and free street parking and angled parking spots on the North Side of the Tennis Court. Four tennis courts and two ample hitting walls where racquetball gets priority over tennis. This facility is fun and has a challenge system where the winner stays on certain courts. So if you are feeling competitive this is the tennis club for you! (see my video tour attached).

Rose Suz: Awesome park I love coming here always...clean, sheltered playground, sponged ground and nice and curtious people 😊

Antonio Divine: Great place to go with your family and friends to have fun and interact with neighbors and police officers. #NationalNightOut

Elissandro Garcia: Good to have fun with kids. There are tennis courts too.

Jesus Marmol: Nice park, with lost of options. Soccer, tennis, basketball, racquetball, volleyball, pool, and more...

Al Silverspoon: We had a blessed day with ISCHS on the field day At the end it’s our community and we support it The park open late which give you a chance after the kids comes from school and walk to the park while the kids on their scooter or skates, very friendly environment without forgetting the activity during the year from the park staff

GLORIA HURTADO: Excelent to bring our kids

Diego Leyes: Best place for my kids activities..

Hello: Great place for all ages. There is something to do for everyone in the family even the parents. Whether you want to be active or sit down enjoying the fresh breeze under the shade. Also, the water fountain is cold. DEC 2021 UPDATE: Renovation going on, but the park is still open, such as the tennis court, playground, library, and center. The city is renovating the exercise equipment, pool, soccer field, basketball courts, adding more trees and sitting places.

Fabio Cabrera: Located in the heart of Shenandoah. Parking is limited. Plenty of playground activites. Tennis Courts & in-door activity center.

Harrison C. Davies: Fun youth basketball programs here! Was a lot of fun and had some amazing memories. Its great for all communities in the area and could sometimes get very competitive, but always in a friendly way! Facilities and neighboring community center are all kept very nice! My parents tax dollars at work! #miamishores #basketball

DJoumbarey Moreau: If you're looking for serious competition, you'd be better served going to another park. If you're looking for leisurely play then this is the basketball courts for you.

Robert King High Park: what do users think?

Cloud Star: This park is amazing because it has so many activities that you can enjoy as a family or hand out with friends. It has tennis courts for individuals to practice and to play with a team. The park contains playground for kids to enjoy playing and running. There is a field for baseball, soccer and a basketball courts to play in it. There is a picnic area for you to eat. The parking is nice and easy to park. The park contains restrooms and water fountains as well an indoor activities.

Ghazanfar Ali: A hidden gem on the west Flagler and 72nd Ave intersection. It has beautiful views, tennis courts with coaching, play area for toddlers, basketball courts, soccer area, bbq area for families, a baseball ground..It's a highly recommend park

JB Benitez: Tennis courts are playable but need a bit of maintenance.

Ariel W.: I have passed this park many times while visiting the Miami Airport Convention Center and was curious about what kind of park this was in the middle of the city. After a recent event at the convention center I stopped by to check it out. It turns out it is a hidden gem with a surprise you don't often find in the city. This park in Miami is named in honor of Robert King High (April 9, 1924 - August 30, 1967). King was an attorney and politician. He was born in Tennessee and moved to Florida after serving in WWII where he became an active in the democratic party. He was mayor of Miami for 10 years before running for governor in 1966 but he was defeated by Republican Claude Kirk. Robert King High he died of a heart attack less than a year after losing the election. Robert King High Park is located next to Lake Maha and dates to the 1970's but It was extensively remodeled in 2011 when a building was added for classes. The park is divided into two sections, a 1.5 acre day use recreational area in the south front of the park that includes six basketball courts, softball/ baseball field, a sand volleyball court, and a playground. The back north end of the park contains the surprise, the 5.24 acre Carlos Arboleya campground. Arboleya was born in Cuba. He was the former president of Barnett Bank and a presence in South Florida's Cuban-American business community. He volunteered for 60 years with the youth of Miami and was the former president of the South Florida Council of the Boy Scouts of America. In 1978 in honor of his long and dedicated service to the youth of Miami and the Boy Scouts, the campground in the park was named in his honor. Arboleya waged a one man campaign to keep the area that is now the campground from being turned into a velodrome. The velodrome was built elsewhere in the city and this area was preserved so that the scouts of Miami could experience camping in a city that had very little places for this activity. In this area of the park is a lake for fishing, a pool. and hiking trails. The campground is such an amazing resource for the Miami community. Kids who live in the city and who might not be able to experience the joy of camping out have the perfect place to experience sleeping outdoors thanks to the foresight of Carlos Arboleya. Even though he has since passed away he is still positively impacting the youth of Miami.

Juan Lopez: Covered bkb courts. Kids play area. Tennis. Beach volleyball. It's a decent park.

David Wong (PJ DJ Trakataka): Good basketball scene. Seems like 4v4 halfcourt is the standard. Good lighting and playground

Thea Nabity: It's a very nice park. The only reason that I don't give it 5 stars is because my kids come here to play soccer and it is a great inconvenience to walk to the main office to use the restroom because they keep the restroom right next to the field locked. This also causes them to miss more time out of their practice than it would have if they could use that restroom.

Victor Padilla: I play ball every once in a while, they have 2 full courts, one under the sun and other below a shelter/roof. Completion is pretty good however not the best place for kids in general as some folks consume drugs on property. Besides that you can definitely get a few pick up games in.

Eddie Evers: Very nice park with plenty of courts. Great games of basketball.

Alejandro Garcia: I got three screws on three different tires of my car last time I came here. I don’t even know if somebody did this or left the screws in the parking area and roads on purpose. It ended up costing me $180 to replace one tire and patch the other two. This place needs better security, cleaning and maintenance. Never coming back here.

Jose Marti Park: what do users think?

Christopher Vinson: Great park. Boats driving by. Great relaxing free park. Police shut down at dusk. Lock up entire park. Seen Zumba classes here. Chess board tables. Outdoor exercise equipment

Ilona Nesterova (ILONA_TRAVELONA): Clean place. Good kids playground. Doesn’t seem as safe neighborhood though. Some homeless people around. Testing site. Pool is empty on renovations. Free parking

Roger Carlier: This unique recreational space which sits along the Miami River often goes unnoticed. The spacious, open space fenced park features a heated pool, green spaces, gazebo with restrooms and facilities, and other exercising and walk paths along with water. Perfect as a meeting point for community action programs.

Tamara Alexander: My go to park for working out. Enjoy the river, boats, even the 2 manatees I've seen while walking along the trail. You can workout outside or inside the gym, play basketball inside or outside. Plus, the baseball field is where Bad Boys for life was shot.

Rosa Espindola: Lovely place to meet the river with the bay. Tequestas had the best location. So dynamic, kids playing, Friday's happy hours, exercising, music, dogs swimming, couples. Just great to stretch your muscles, deep breath. Life is beautiful!!

Nimse Mora: Excelent park swimming pool available summer camps outdoor gym and basketball court inside gym and basketball courts worl out area on the park. Beautiful view of downtown canal where all the boat go out for sailing. Zumba free on Tuesday and Thursdays under roof house

Antonio Augello: I’ve been swimming here since January 2022 and it is a great place. Staff is friendly and other swimmers too. It’s usually not busy which is also a plus. All amenities are clean and well maintained.

Mark Kilburn: Great park with river and city views. Fun place to watch manatees and beautiful yachts and fishing boats. Only thing needed is more shady places to sit. Let's go City of Miami. Figure it out.

Vivian Maurice: Hello parents! This is the New José Martí Park, on the south river side! The musical area is great for kids, it also has a small area for toddlers. This park is a great way of letting your kid interact with others, it gets very full after 5 pm. But is big enough. The river is in the front so is fresh and with a very nice view, Its a safe environment, well enclosed and the park is fun and safe. There is a parking area close by, and also there is area to work out and Jog for parents.

Gregorio Santos: One the best beautiful sight of the Great Miami Downton along the Miami River, a peaceful place to relax. Some restrictions still in place due to the health crisis.

Southside Park: what do users think?

Christopher Kennedy: Great park to take your dog or kids. Has a play ground and a place for your dog to run around. They also have a basketball court.

Sandra Alvarez: My pups always have fun when we go here... there is a little bit too much dirt in some parts but not that bad.

Jesus Hernandez: Very good

Luis B: Great for basketball and dogs but the city does not maintain it as well as they should. Grass is mostly dirt now and they built a parking lot in it for some reason. It is scheduled for renovation in 2-5 years.

Angelika Joseph: The park has a basketball court that people use a lot... sadly, some of the people with dogs don't respect the effort the city does trying to maintain the park in good condition... at least, the day I was there, I saw a lot of dog poo... I guess, they expect the park authority to clean it for them... maybe a fine will make them change the way they proceed...

Chloe TORRES: Pretty good. Basketball court isn't packed on Sunday nights. People are mostly friendly and dogs are allowed. Dog bowl available with water fountain. A couple picnic tables and a park for grown kids. Not a baby or toddler park. Sometimes teenagers are smoking weed there which doesn't bother me but I also don't have kids.

SeaTides Waving: Awesome dog / playground / basketball courts park.

The Truth: Great place to exercise, play some basketball, bring your dog or your kids to play. Only downside is some people bring big dogs that arent trained and have attacked smaller dogs. Careful for a big white German shepherd, tho it's not the dogs fault when an owner is irresponsible!

S H: Nice park for the kids and they just redid it so it begs the question: why are there no public restrooms. I guess my daughter and myself will just have to find a tree to hide behind or maybe a bush. You will have to cut your visit short for this very reason or better yet don't drink any fluids in the Miami summer heat. Absolutely ridiculous.

Chadwick Miller: There was a super sketchy homeless guy sleeping in the playground so we left. Not really ideal.

Curtis Park: what do users think?

Osniel Sanchez Lopez: Great location, very clean and well maintain, lots of kids and adults attend. Basketball courts, tennis court, tracks for the runner in you, baseball field, football field, functional training bars for dips, pulls up, etc.. Never any issues morning or night. Get out and breathe some fresh air and exercise with the family.✊🏻🏃‍♂️

Hookable Hodge: What a BEAUTIFUL park to visit and enjoy. It has everything you need to spend a quite day in the shade. Plenty of trees

Janelle Sales: Nice park to run, jog, get in some plyometrics. The bathrooms are usually clean. Plenty of parking on the side. The turf needs to be redone .

Jessica Vazquez: We love this park. Feel safe and well maintained. My son has a blast every time we go!

Gray Reyes Reyes: The turf on the football field is horrendous to say the least. It's obvious there is no up keep of it. The staff is not helpful and I'm afraid the playground still has lead. The basketball courts are nice at least . I guess it's the only other park people can go to. But my TAX dollars are definitely not being utilized to keep this park up.

QUINNY: Nice park with lots of shade. No restrooms so be prepared. These trees are crazy looking

Armando Boucourt: Came all the way from Broward for a ball game. The field is ok, but laid out so that home is away from the facilities. No walkway from seating area, bleachers to the facilities. No signs anywhere as to where the facilities are. So I had to drive around the field to locate a restroom. Parking is scarce, so drove all the way back to “my” spot and walked back. Only to find the mens room locked, displaying a prominent “CLOSED” sign, as if to say, find another place to relieve yourself. The stench of urine hit me as I walked around the building. Makes you wonder the reasoning behind such a measure. The lights are on but the restroom is closed. Go figure. Hope we never have to come back to this place.

Julio Torres: best park of all time

Annie Ban: Recently discovered this park! The track field is in great condition! Only downside so far is that the restrooms aren’t very clean.

Reginald V. Presley: Great place to exercise, or just have a leisurely stroll. Multiple activities can be done here.

George “Andy” Caesar: Mike has been an upstanding business owner, and supporter of athletics and youth development. Top rated facilities, staff, and overall environment. He has helped youth from all across Miami, and the world. I literally have never met anyone who would say any different. If I sound, Biased, I am, because he has on NUMEROUS occasions helped and supported students FROM the liberty city community.

Joseph Galindo: Called the place, and they declined and texted instead. Goes by the name mike and randomly blocked the number. Asked me how many people there was and what time we were coming. Seems very suspicious and would be careful about going alone

Elizabeth Virrick Park: what do users think?

Anthony Cunningham: I see so much potential at virrick Park & the virrick Park library system, but unlike peacock Park and it's library they really don't try to support each other's as far as inspiring our youth to piggy back off each other using all the parks physical activities interacting with reading science on climax changes, agriculture, water sport such as swimming, Ocean graphics, planting & political oval office and the important of making changes through our political election parties, everything is at our tisposel in the grove. boating clubs ocean, pools, food, organic vegetable market..ect.lets make it happen in our community.pce&love.😇🤓

Dondi Burroughs: Excellent, we had a neighborhood event by councilman Joseph Brown which was a Author book signing and other events which went well

Derek Kearney: Great place for kids in the playground area and cool place for teens and adults to play basketball on the outside courts as well as the indoor courts. There's even a pool area that I hope it's open during the summer! Having the library there only adds to how great this place is.

Cynthia K Seymour (Seymour Results): What a colorful park! Covered in mosaics on the outside and stained glass windows that cast rainbow splashes of light across the gymnasium floor. It is fun to see the kids playing basketball. There is a terrific gymnastics program called Gymagination. And a new pool is being designed by the City of Miami. There is also a jewel of a little library adjacent to the gym. As well as a media center with computers in both locations.

Érika Rocha Guimarães: Great park! With playground, many picnic tables and basketball court. Restrooms are well maintained. Some picnic tables are under the trees and some are under the mushroom roof. Perfect place for birthday parties.I don't get why this park is always so empty.

Sharmarke MA: Clean park with pleasant visitors. There is two full basketball courts that are well maintained as well as an indoor gym, a restroom, and a small neighborhood library. Great place to exercise your body and mind.

Sandra Alvarez: Nice little park, there is a lot of green area with shade from the trees. Good for kids and even to bring your dog with, only allow on the leash.

Veronica Wade: Goombay 2022 at Virrick Park isn't the same Goombay on Grand Avenue, but it will do! 💙💛🖤

Wendy Rainey: Had a great time at the Goombay with family and friends.

abdul-ali ghadafii: Well kept. Clean. Minus is the pool. Not maintained.

Henry Reeves Park: what do users think?

Kimberly Lopez: Great open spaces, good for events. I would like to see the basketball area re-painted once pandemic is over. It's in need of some TLC.

Aaron C: Friendly staff at the garden. 4 Basketball courts. Not too crowded. Many kids around.

Carlton Stewart: The place to be in the summer is beautiful park

Quaneisha Williams: This park gave me a different outlook, keeping so many kids out of trouble and spreading love through the entire neighborhood. I was one of the many blessed kids that got to call this place home. With so much to do, this place never disappoint. I wonder if the big brother, Big sister program is still there?

Scott Keever: Beautiful, calm and quiet place for picnic but I would suggest to be careful while you are here because I saw snatchers snaching eatables from people. Otherwise it's good. Environment is ok.

Gypsy Starr: Beautiful family park thanks

Art of happy: Very nice and safety place in Miami

Marion Mays: Well it's pretty lively and an okay spot to take the kids

Steven Anderson: This is one of the many public parks open for family fun and enjoyment!

Angela Marshall: It was a park. Hopefully it will be a park again. We need more parks in this area.
