Carlos Morel: The magnificent team at Koala Insulation started work at 8 in the morning and finished 10 hours later !! They removed all the old 40 year old insulation which was less than an inch tall and put in a new one over 16 inches tall (Wow!). It was a perfect job performed with a super professional, friendly, courteous and communicative team. They took photos of before, during and after the installation. Not two hours ago and I already feel the difference in all the rooms. Now I have a rich cool to cold environment matched in all rooms !! They have exceeded all my expectations! I am extremely impressed and pleasantly pleased with the work done today by Koala Installation!

Work was done professionally as promised, and cleaned up when done. His employees are very professional people who know what they are doing both in spraying foam and putting up foil insulation on the walls. Next day i had inspection and passed. Overall experience was a positive experience considering the lack of professionalism in some businesses today in south Florida. Will be calling them out for a future project in the works.

Where each time I was asked to give full contact info and reason for calling. And I've still yet to have anyone call me to set anything up! If they cant even give an estimate, I can only imagine trying to get them to do the real work! This place is a definitely not worth dealing with. I wish I can give them ZERO STARS!

The pressboard that the flooring system was made from was failing. I had resupported about 2/3rds of the floor from underneath. I had added 5/8" 5ply plywood over floors inside. I had A Best Insulation cover the entire bottom of the mobile home. My hope is that the insulation will keep any further damage from moisture from happening. It will and did fill in the voids left from the pressboard that had completely fallen away. It will help keep the air conditioning from leaking out all the voids that were left from the flooring system failure. And since it was sprayed on and expands to every possible space and opening stopping any and all bugs and rodents from finding gaps in the bottom of home and nesting or entering the home. One other thing that it did that was unexpected was it quieted the floor some as I walk around inside. I also added a self leveling polyurethane sealant around the perimeter of the new plywood flooring inside. A Best came in the morning and were in contact with me and kept me updated when the would arrive. The set up and once they began they continued for about 5 or 6 hours with 3 men. They seemed to be very thorough. When the were done they took pictures of the job so I could (without climbing under home) see the work done. It looked very good. They crew was friendly and courteous. They protected any place where overspray might get and cleaned up any that did. No hidden charges. I think they put more foam then the 2" that was contracted. Might be up to 4" in some places. In summation I feel that they gave me every thing I paid for and more. Were great to deal with. Prompt and like I said courteous. I wish I had done this 10 years ago. Anyone with an older mobile home should think about having this work done. It really did a great job at sealing up the bottom of the home. Any home with exposed wood under the home would do great by sealing it up. I was worrying about termites getting into my new work under the flooring. This job is putting my mind at ease. Kristi Cartagena: We had A Best Insulation, Inc., a recommended FPL vendor, spray R-38 fiberglass insulation into our attic. We were trying to increase energy efficiency and lower our electric bill. Within a year, we started noticing bumps around the a/c vents and condensation damage to the ceiling. We had feared that we were dealing with a roof leak. Therefore, we had a roofing company come to provide a quote to replace the roof; only to discover that the damage was not due to a roof leak, but damage inflicted to the a/c ductwork. Prior to the roofing company, no one had accessed our attic other than A Best Insulation. Beware of ANY company spraying insulation into your attic or accessing your attic for any reason. Be vigilant and inspect your ductwork prior to signing off on work. We learned this lesson the hard way by having to incur the expense of installing new ductwork and drywall repairs. So much for energy efficiency and savings.

The correct procedure would have been to call us so we could inspect the work we did, if that was the case. What is not correct is to defame our name without giving us that opportunity. I take this opportunity to tell any potential client that our company offers a complete guarantee on materials and labor. Also, liability insurance and workers compensation insurance. The client is the priority in this company. If you need insulation, call us!

Larry Charles: I got several quotes from different companies, but A Best had the best price for Spray Foam Open Cell. As many have said Sophie is very knowledgeable and great to talk to. She gave me all the information I needed and was able to give me a quote over the phone. We agreed she would send someone out to take a look at the attic and make sure quote was accurate. Ray came to give me a quote, he was well prepared, and also very knowledgeable. He took his time and explained the benefits of spray foam. Talking to him was like talking to a friend, he made the decision to choose them very easy. When they came to do the work they made sure to cover the furniture in my bedroom and to put protective cover on our wood floors. (See the pictures. ) Oliver came bright and early to do the removal of old batt insulation. He was very professional and very friendly, he explained the whole process and what to expect. In my case it was a 2 day job. 1 morning to remove old insulation and 1 morning to install spray foam. When they start installing spray foam it's recommended not to be in the house and plan to be out for at least 24 hours Note: Since they did a great job covering the bedroom furniture on day 1 we left it on, since it was needed for day 2, so I wasn't able to sleep in my bed that night. (this was not a problem) Oliver called me once they were done and they sent me pictures of the finished job. See attached pictures. I also had the pleasure of speaking to Aldo, the owner, and congratulated him on having a great company and such amazing employees. Oh and by the way, we noticed the results immediately, my 2nd floor is now cooler than my 1st floor. Spray foam is definitely worth it. I absolutely recommend A best insulation, I wish all companies were as amazing as them.

Agony305: I quoted several companies and Koala Insulation was not only competitively priced but the up front estimate experience is what made me go with them. One company basically gave me a price per square foot and told me to figure it out so we wouldn't waste each other's time. Javier visited my home, actually went into my attic, took pictures and provided a detailed explanation of what would be done. He provided honest options and didn't try to forcefully sell me anything I didn't need. He scheduled the date and the workers arrived on time and conducted themselves respectfully and professionally. They did their best to clean up after themselves and didn't leave me with much to tidy up. Robert Bang: Trucks after turning onto NE 2nd Ave don't just turn onto NE 187th right away but do a loop so you can driver side back into the lot after they open the gate (about 0700-0730). From NE 2nd Ave -> NE 191st St -> NE 3rd CT -> NE 187th. There's a gravel shoulder for a truck to wait if you get there and hour or two early (I wouldn't chance a ticket trying to overnight - just stay at Broward County Rest Area always free parking available there 45 minutes away) Take your time watch for traffic backing in. They'll go around you if there's a small gap.
